LMFAO OKAY, ANON – i will give you some of my headcanons on this with little to no explanation (only doing gender swapped characters so no characters that are already female and technically have canonical breast sizes since like... we see their breasts)

Light: generally considered to have conventionally attractive looks, but also is a very average person, therefore — C or D

L: definitely has smaller tits and i think she would forgo wearing bras (or any undergarments, though i think she'd prefer to wear boxers/briefs over traditional women's undergarments) whenever she can get away with it (which is always),,, and larger breasts do not allow for such careless behavior tsk tsk — low-scale B or A

Near: very 'petite' person, i think... i also hc Near, in general, to be consistently underweight and obv we already know she is pretty short — AAA maybe AA, if i'm being generous I will give her an A cup

Whenever people complain about the long-overdue change from AAA games costing $60 to games costing $70 (which let's be real - they already did in some places back in the 2000's/2010s. Retailers with no nearby competition would sell wii games WAY above market value, all the time. Ask me how I know.) The common refrain is always that spending power is down (true.) and that most of the dev budget and profits aren't even GOING to the developers, the CEOs are just pocketing it (also true.) But it's also hard for me to care about those factors when the expectation for what a game should cost has been thrown out the window.

Sonic Adventure retailed at $60 in the U.S in 1998, which is about $115 in today's money, and it takes 9 hours to clear the whole story. Sonic Frontiers had a larger team, budget, development schedule, and despite the fact it has nearly double the amount of gameplay, it sold at almost half the price of Sonic Adventure. Adjusted for inflation.

When I was in middle school, it was understood that if a game was free, it was most likely made by someone on their free time, and therefore it would probably be short and simple. The mobile apps that were worth your time all cost 99 cents. This was a fee people were willing to pay, because a song on iTunes also cost 99 cents. Games with microtransactions were already taking advantage of gambling addictions, so people were willing to put up with a certain amount of adware on the free app market to avoid them.

Then everything went wrong at once. Free-to-Play video games were popping up all over the place with the amount of content you'd normally expect from the most ambitious AAA titles, and the content updates you'd expect to see from subscription-based MMOs to keep things fresh. Music could be streamed, so nobody wanted to spend 99 cents to own a copy of their favorite song anymore, and suddenly that fee looked too high for apps as well. Then Apple stopped pushing the paid apps, encouraging every developer to make apps that either monetized every corner with ads, or baited players into constant microtransactions so they'd be more than one-time sources of income. And despite being driven primarily by cynical profit motives, the leadership of most American AAA studios wanted to be compared to Hollywood. And so games are being pushed to look more like Movies. Photorealism. Cinematics. Stories that resemble the Movies. Stuff had to be more and more ambitious while costing less and less for the consumer on the frontend, sometimes in ACTUAL dollar amount and sometimes just adjusted for inflation, while also being designed to wring as much money out of every player as humanly possible. It's still going on like this and we all know it isn't fucking sustainable.

But sure. your DLC contains stuff you feel should have been in the base game now. The default price is $10 more - and once they've patched out as many of the issues they were forced to ship with as is realistically possible, you'll get what you paid for out of the experience.

You realize that if you get your reality where we have smaller games with worse graphics made by people paid more to work less, the price of heavily marketed, retail-worthy games will still probably go up, right? Because those likely won't go anywhere, even if they all start to look like what we think of as AA now rather than AAA. For a game to ACTUALLY cost $70 it'd need to maintain mass market appeal so it could sell enough copies to make back budget and probably fund the next dev cycle. Because in this world, game devs wouldn't be beholden to shareholder interests, right?

I'm not saying this to discourage you from that way of thinking in the slightest. I'm just pointing out that, as with SO many things in our lives, your sense of what something costs to produce is incredibly divorced from reality because of just HOW exploited the labor behind it is.

But to be completely honest, if an extra $10 on the base price of SOME PS5 games is enough of a stumbling block for you, I don't know how you'll handle the value for that money decreasing, as well.

quick post before i head out to the arcade again: was minding my business and grinding out a new tetris sprint record for myself (finally got sub-50 today!!) when i suddenly realized... the DJMAX season pass was ending soon!!! panicked, i asked my good buddy ol friend pal Zolder about it and he actually offered to play some DJMAX with me to hopefully get through most of the pass!!! i happily obliged and got to playing random 6B/4B SCs, and it was honestly kind of a blast!!! got some good scores but was still utterly destroyed by him (which is why there's so few screenshots to show) but hey!! finally got an FC on Tic! Tac! Toe! [6BSC 9*]!!!

a quick proseka score (re-AP on Yoidore Shirazu [Master Lv.28]) before i made my way out to the bus and onto the arcade...

...and now, time for the true arcade day!!! finally arrived at the place where i would Gaming for the day, but it seems i arrived a bit too early as the entrance was still locked... so i played arcaea for a bit and got this challenge score rq (rip PM :v)

but suddenly, the door was open and i was able to hop in for some gaming!!! i know, i know, all i've played today so far were hand games (tetris included), but i wanted to warm up and wake up my rhythmic senses before i hopped into the more physical dance games, and so i went about that with some SDVX!!! just one set, sure, but there were some decent scores for a noteskin and frame rate that were impossible to read!!! (seriously, i don't know how anyone played this game at a top level back before VW... it's So Bad !!! ah well i got my volforce class up (to ???), so all's well that ends well :]

but NOW!!! it was time for the dancing gameys :] i was really pumped up for this game and set, but severely overestimating my ability after only physically warming up with a D16 (nice score tho), i kinda fumbled everything afterward and started feeling demotivated :[ so to lift my spirits and mayhaps warm myself up a bit more, my little completionist 100% brain fired up and decided on my next dance game target: TITLES!!! specifically the titles that required you to clear certain charts with an SSS or higher to get a skill title (e.g. Half, Gimmick, Run, Twist, etc.) . i wasn't confident at all that i could get some of the higher titles right now, but that didn't matter because i still had to get the lower titles (lv.1-4) first!!! and that's exactly what i did!!! i started with Half, which led me to get a sweet SSS on Mopemope D17 (hard as hell btw) followed by a sweeter SSS (and Superb Game!) on Butterfly D17 to get Half Lv.1 and Lv.2! then i moved on to gimmick (ig half was a bit too much for me...) to knock out some charts below the Gimmick Lv.4 title i already had, which led to getting PERFECT GAME SSS+ on both Yeo rae a S13 and Ugly Dee S17!!!

alright NOW i felt confident in my pumping skill, and in secret between these title sets i've been trying 21s until something clicked... and it did!!! all of a sudden, amidst all the scoring warmups and gimmick perfects, i got a sweet new AAA TG on Paradoxx - SHORT CUT - S21!!! and they just kept on rolling in after that Ugly Dee score, as i then got a sightread AA+ on Darkside Of The Mind D21, an upscore to AAA+ on Cygnus D21, and perhaps most shockingly... an AA on Extravaganza D21!!!

i wanted to get more, but i was satisfied enough after that last clear to head on and about my way for the day, so i did just that ! however, the bus wasn't coming for a few more minutes, so i dedicated my last set of the day to a quick jubeat sesh where i got a sightread S on Got more raves? [Advanced 7] (with an admittedly poor Owl noteskin) and then a re-clear on AIR RAID FROM THA UNDAGROUND [Advanced 9.7] before i went back home to celebrate my cousin's birthday!!!

Figured since I'm keeping my bios on both accounts relatively short, I'd introduce myself through this post: nice to meet ya, I'm Stark! This main account of mine is where I'll be posting my fan art! 1. Please do not feed your moldy bread to the birds! Break it down for compost for plants or to feed to your pet insects (ie. ants can consume mold and bread), but do not give any to animals whose digestive system can not break down the sugars and yeast! Their bodies will become vulnerable to parasites and organ failure! Plus, they could have an adverse reaction to the mold as well.

2. White Vinegar is your best friend for cleaning any mold or mildew that grows in your home. Please, do not mix it with other cleaning chemicals!

3. Never mix Bleach with ammonia cleaning chemicals. It creates chloramine gas which can damage your lungs and kill you (as well as any pets). Same goes for not mixing one type of ammonia cleaner with another one. Keep all of your cleaning products separate when using them for you and your loved ones safety!

4. Many household-plants are natural air purifiers like English Ivy, Mums, Peace Lilies, etc. and can alleviate you of contamination to the air from things like ammonia, formaldehyde and carbon monoxide (this is great knowledge if you’re moving into a place where the tenets were indoor chain-smokers); however, many of these are extremely toxic to your pets if they make physical contact or ingest them, so keep them safely out of reach!

5. Use bottled water rather than tap water when brewing your coffee! Tap water tends to have minerals like Calcium and Magnesium that will build up in your machine resulting in more clean ups over time, nastier tasting coffee or worse…a faster breakdown.

6. Odors from Mint, Cinnamon, Cayenne, Cidarwood, Citrus, Bay Leaves, Basil and Lavender can be noxious to many pests like silverfish, water bugs, roaches, etc. If you live somewhere with a problem, then these might help! But, make sure you’re doing extra with keeping the environment clean and reaching out to pest control still.

7. Dust won’t accumulate in your home as quickly if you clean it up with wipes rather than a duster. Duster’s just put it back into the air (and your lungs potentially, too).

8. You can clean your walls more easily and quickly using a swiffer sweeper. This is a great solution if you’re short, don’t want to get on a step stool or don’t even own a step stool.

9. Use energy saving light bulbs in your home to save money on your electric bills. Using your air fryer more and your oven less will also save you more money on electric.

10. Make sure you always have enough batteries (AA, AAA, etc) in case you need to replace them for your thermostat, fire detector, remote controls to your tv, flashlights, etc. Also, keep back-up battery operated LED lights on hand in case of a power outage.

Dear people living on your own for the first time:

Here’s some advice I wasn’t told from the myriad of posts before that I wish I’d been given before

Wash the OUTSIDE of your pots and pans as well as the cooking surface. I’ve had a few roommates now who have only cleaned the inside and I’ve had to replace a $150 set of cookware twice.

“its only one time, how bad could using metal on nonstick cookware really be?” very bad. don’t do this.

Buy a rice cooker. Buy the middle tier rice cooker. Cheap ones will burn your rice, high tier ones are too expensive. Rice is good and cheap and, really, you don’t actually have to wash it if you don’t care about making gourmet food.

Buy band-aids. You don’t think you need band-ads until you need a band-aid, and by then it’s too late. (if you don’t follow this advice, a paper towel and some tape is an acceptable solution while you go get real bandages and neosporin)

You are on tumblr, which means you probably spend most of your time in one spot on a computer or phone. if this spot doesn’t have a trash can in arm’s reach, put one there.

 I spent 4 years piling trash on my desk in increasingly precarious ways until I had a designated area to put it. Trash cans can and should go anywhere there is a frequent generation of trash, typical locations be damned.

If you live with one or two roommates, discuss placing empty boxes in the back of your fridge and freezer. You probably don’t need all the space that the standard 5-person-family fridge provides, and tupperware will be shoved back there and left to stink up the entire appliance.

Get a wall calendar, put it somewhere communal, and have everyone put their household-relevant schedules on it. Communication is by far the weakest link with roommates (even good ones!) and having something to reference for appointments is always good

Ughhh so I’ve been debating posting this because: a) I don’t want to be *that* fan b) I don’t want to impose on how ppl interact/interpret fandom c) at the end of the day it’s just fiction so it doesn’t matter

But it’s eating at me and uhhhhhhgghhh I have to say something. Please don’t come for me, this is not me calling anyone out- you are all valid, this is me being an old lady yelling at cloud. Ignore me, ignore me if you don’t agree with me and seriously go on with your lives.

So to start out, I have friends in the video game industry in licensing and merchandising for a few AAA studios-specifically in the creation of the guidebooks/official art books/lore compendiums etc.

These books are created off of information from the game’s artists, writers and narrative producers.

And the general rule of thumb is: unless noted otherwise- character traits such as height, weight, etc. do not account for clothing, accessories,hairstyles, etc.

If a character has augmentations which may effect a stat and it’s vital to the character or story at large-it’s listed.

A good example of this is Peridot from SU. There are character sheets that list her height in relation to her environment with and without her leg extenders. We have two stats for her height.

This for the most part, is pretty standard across the board in the video game/animation industry because they want people(artists and designers in particular) to understand a character’s scale in relation to their environment. Help cosplayers understand how an outfit/character’s form works (not that they *need* to 100% accurately represent a character to cosplay as that character), and because they know their fellow nerds live and breath to know this information.

Soooo this is my long winded explanation to say that Apollo is most likely not 5ft tall and running around with two almost half-foot spikes on his hairline.

I feel if this was the case, AA is silly enough to state that fact. And yes, while this is the world in which Daryan can have a 3ft pompadour, the main attorneys’ designs are less gonzo compared to the clients and witnesses. So it’s unlikely based on what I’ve been told by my friends, that Apollo’s design, which is meant to have appeal while being distinct to AA’s style, would have his hairstyle effect his official stats. The horns are an element to Apollo’s overall design- the Art of Ace Attorney says they’re symbols of him as a “young sprout” in the legal world.

They’re visual elements on the same level as his red suit. You wouldn’t assume Apollo’s listed weight includes him wearing clothes (maybe if he was wearing armor, but then his weight with and without armor would prolly be listed)- so when a stat is listed, that character most likely is that stat regardless of how they styled their hair that day.

And if we follow the logic of what people are sharing about Apollo’s height then we have to ask ourselves things like- “is Trucy really her official stated height or is that including the top hat? Maybe she’s 5 inches shorter” “Is Klavier really 6ft? He is wearing motorcycle boots so that could be giving him some height so maybe he’s actually 5ft 8in”.

And if you believe that, fine. You do you. It doesn’t matter, I stg, I may delete this once I’m done writing this. But I just wanted to share what I know from “the inside”.

And considering that the Japanese studios go into more depth on character details due to fandom, cosplay, virtual idols,doujin/fanworks being a huge industries in parts of Asia- if Apollo was actually 5ft with two 5in horns in his head- that is a detail that would have been noted allllll the way back in the AA4 guide, and there would have been even more meta jokes -official and unofficial- about him being a smol fierce loud lawyer man.

Sooo yes, he’s still a small birb when compared to Phoenix, Miles, Klavier, and Simon, but he’s more than likely not *that* short.

And honestly, if you love 5ft Apollo, I love and support you and wish you nothing but the best in your pursuits of fandom happiness.

I think the idea of 5ft Apollo, who has to climb Klavier like a tree, is cute. But also I’ve had in my brain for the last 13 years that Apollo is 165cm/5ft 5in-ish (okay he’s like 5ft 4.961 inches, I’m rounding up- I’m not his doctor) so it’s what I’m defaulting to when I write.

I guess if anyone wants to ask the artists/creators the next time there is a con or an interview, if Apollo’s spikes are included in his height-please do. I would love to know XD. And if I’m wrong please let me know, but rn I’m going off of the Art of Ace Attorney and the Dual Destinies art book.

NOW IT'S THE REAL GRAND FINALE!!! And what better way to celebrate than getting permission to pay Round 1 a lil visit?? (Granted at the cost of paying breakfast at my workplace for my whole family during one of their busiest days, i still feel so bad...)

since i had just eaten a chocolate croissant and 1 (one) pancake, i started off slow and warmed up with my favorite game to play on a full stomach (not really): IIDX EPOLIIIIIIIIIIIIIISS (dan dan dada daan dan dada daan dan dada daan dan dan dan)

stiiiill doing the usual of practicing with RANDOM, but getting more comfortable with using hard gauge! only problem? i forgot premium time (and lost two credits to it)

meh, i'll do better next year (i think)

now, this part was the biggest part and the greatest change of plans i've probably had. originally, since the cab was empty, i was gonna go play sdvx to continue warming up and since i didn't wanna throw up my breakfast still. but then i decided, "yea, i feel fine enough. to the ddr cabs! (also i have sumidagawa karenka stuck in my head please help)"

and what i found at the cabs as a result was... a new year's eve tourney i had no idea about!! hosted by the one and only hambones!!! and (almost) EVERYONE was there to game!!!! sign ups were still open, and a friend from there was Really pushing me to sign up, so i signed up and did a warm up set at first before moving on to the qualifiers!

set A of the qualifiers consisted of Dancer in the flare ESP-13 (DDR A, banger), Like A Star ESP-14 (DDR A3, way harder than i thought it'd be), and Electronic Dance System Music (DDR A, i set my scroll speed too low). Once I did it, it was... very dissatisfying. I could've had better MA, but I struggled finding the timing window and had poor EX score overall.

set B though? KILLED IT. it consisted of Going Hypersonic ESP-15 (DDR A20, very technical rhythms), Black Jackal ESP-15 (DDR A20, more of an MA challenge), and Firestorm CSP-16 (DDR A20, chart added in A20 PLUS, hope you like shocks!), and since I'm a huge fan of uppers charts, I had a blast putting on a show for everyone waiting to get the tourney on (since i was the last one to arrive and last one to finish my qualifiers). Got an AAA on Going Hypersonic and 2g on Black Jackal, and also a really neat upscore on Firestorm!!!

when all was said and done and the tourney scores were tallied, i ended up 5th place overall; barely falling short of the top 4 that would play a new set of two 16s and a 17 that were all really fun... but i was pretty satisfied with my score regardless!!! while i waited for the tourney to end and the results to be announced, i remembered arcaea was having their new year's 100 memories promotions, i finally claimed it for the first since since i downloaded the app 5 years ago!!! ...only to find out that the memories expired 2 days after claiming them (literally Why)

as soon as i got them, though, i Instantly knew what i wanted to buy. that's right. OVERDRIVE!!!! played it three times while everyone else was playing: first attempt was a 69% gauge fail, second attempt was an almost-AA 9.49M, and third attempt was a sick 9.63M jump!!! def worth the impulse purchase

anyways, back to the tournament: after everyone played the three songs, the scores were tallied once more and the victors were called up one by one to claim their prizes. after the top 4 were announced (ambones obvs being 1st), the Hambones Award for Rising Star of the Tournament was announced; pulling ahead by 1 singular vote, it was... ME!!!! 2DKAPS DDR RISING STAR!!!! i was so happy to receive it, and even happier (sorry) when i saw the prizes, which were INSANELY COOL!!! a MAX 300 badge, a Valkyrie Bloom sticker, and some sick shades!!! (and $6 too somehow LOL)

as much as you'd wanna think this post is over now with everything i had written before, NOPE!!! the tournament may have ended already, but i STILL had time to play some extra sets before leaving!! (gotta make up for missing that banger tourney set)

A once in a lifetime moment. The moment when MC found out that her love wasn’t one-sided. Working under Victor, the CEO of LFG, was in all honesty both a blessing and a curse. Under Victor Li’s supervision MC had grown as a business woman. She became more assertive and bloomed under Mr. Li’s expertise. Unfortunately for MC she fell for him. Of course right? The one forbidden relationship. Even if Victor did reciprocate Mc’s feelings, then it would be looked down upon. Others might think that she seduced Loveland’s most attractive bachelor. That she seduced her boss to further her career. This was the last thing she wanted. Her family hadn’t worked all their lives for this to be the end of the company. 

Although, of course MC ended up stupidly confessing to him, while drunk cause let’s admit it, how else could she have gathered the courage (and stupidity) to do so.

What occurred afterwards could only be described as pure bliss. Maybe except for one minor detail. 

But it truly was one minor detail that in MC’s opinion used too much of her brain storage than actually  needed. It was just that she wanted to cuddle, to embrace and to just generally be more affectionate with Victor. But it wasn’t like physical affection wasn’t exchanged between the two. But more like MC was too shy to initiate anything, afraid that Victor would reject her advances. Although even she knew that it sounded ridiculous, but still the anxiety remained. 

The times whenever Victor initiated anything came few and far in between. Victor did seem to enjoy being in a relationship judging the abundant of smiles that were directed towards MC. What before was a stoneface without any mercy, now became much more varied canvas. From a happy Victor to sad-drunk Victor MC was blessed with an assortment of facial expressions from him. But physical affection didn’t come in abundance. 

Victor and MC walked side by side and in the midst of the busy city, walked into the all familiar side street where Souvenir was located. When alone MC noticed Victor’s presence a lot more. When alone there were no distractions to calm her fleeting heart. She felt compelled to reach out to him, to bask in the physical affection she craved. Not in a sexual way, but rather as a way to feel grounded. A way to feel secure in an unkind world. While MC didn’t have a ton of dating experience, all the people she had been with were emotionally and physically distant. In her previous relationships none of her partners were huge fans of PDA and eventually MC just simply stopped asking for it. Even though she desperately wanted it. With no loving figures present in her world anymore she learnt to deny her wants. She had friends sure, but even they didn’t carry the warmth she was searching for. 

And now, she was in a relationship with Victor. But she didn’t know of it was right to be greedy in terms of affection? What if Victor just absolutely hated physical affection and would then come to hate her as well? What if Victor didn’t like needy partners? What of Victor just didn’t like being in close proximity to her?

Sure, MC knew that this was kind of a reach. But Victor really was unpredictable. Stupid Victor and his big back that she longed to embrace. Stupid Victor and his inviting hand that she just wanted to hold. And stupid Victor and his unreadable face that she wanted to adore in kisses. But these were just wants and wistful longings. Why was she so needy? Being lost in her thoughts, Victor noticed absent eyes in MC. Was she perhaps sick since normally she would chatter and talk like no tomorrow. Perhaps she was feeling unwell?

“MC, if you aren’t feeling well then we should go home,”

“Oh-” MC was pulled out of her thoughts and quickly shot a smile at her significant other. She was trying not to let her previous thoughts affect her. 

“I’m fine Victor, just have some things on my mind,” Victor clearly still concerned with MC didn’t completely buy her response.

“You could tell me if you want to MC?”

She strongly considered telling him but she wondered if she would just come off as childish and immature. But honesty was vital in a relationship and MC knew that.

“Uhm, to be honest I’m a bit embarrassed to say it but I’ll tell you Victor,” MC smiled sheepishly and felt her ears turning red.

“Mhmm,” Victor smiled seeing MC as her usual self again, all blushy and adorable..

“It’s just that AA, I would like to hug more and shit!” MC then immediately turned around, way too embarrassed to see Victor’s reaction. He probably thought she was one big weirdo or something.

A second later she was engulfed in his arms. Her head placed right above Victor’s beating heart whose beats matched hers.

“It’s fine dummy, you can hold my hand or ask for hugs whenever you want to,” Victor said this with a tone that made MC’s cheeks heat up. How could Victor be so unfaced and her, a complete tomato. MC was grateful for that Victor wasn’t able to see her face and just let the stupidest smile come though. Still buried in his chest, she tightened her hold around him and listened to his heart beat, it matched hers perfectly. 

“Mhmm,” She welcomed Victor’s clean scent.

“Thanks Victor,” She mumbled into his chest. Not wanting to let go. To reassure her affections were reciprocated. And Victor almost beat himself up for not noticing MC’s crave for affection earlier. Maybe for once he was the dummy…

this past week has seriously been the most stressful and depressing of my life. i've felt horrible day and night, unable to get up and unable to function as i once did, and it's been really damn hard to hide my emotions from people, i really don't know what to do... but it's the weekend now, it's supposed to be time to relax, and so i have to keep my cool and distract myself in spite of the obstacles via my little games that i've always played, past and present .

i'm getting into the endgame of tamasatchi now, and so i have to really grind out tickets due to how long the shop cooldown lasts -- where the only alternative method is to clear boundary shatter songs with gauges. the shortest of them is grode (DJ HOE SCARER REMIX) (or grodescarer for short), so i grinded it out as much as possible and ended up getting a MAX-10 AC on it!! solid potential 13+ or so should it have been a regular chart, though it's kinda hard to judge given the length w

but alas! these two scores were not but a highlight of my warmup for the day, as i was instead preparing most for the real deal that day... GAMECENTER!!! their first meeting in weeks, i was super hype this time around to go as early as i could and make the most of the game selection there... but i ended up going a little late as i was still recovering emotionally by the time i woke up fairly late. it really is a struggle that i hope would've passed by now but . gah . i don't know what to do anymore, just look at these scores and hope i'm not as doomy and gloomy next time. sorry 'bout that.

maimai actually was pretty good despite my condition . despite having gone 3 weeks without playing it, i could feel my improvement in accuracy and reading from last session carry over to this one beautifully . i played a ton of fun and hard charts across experts and masters, and with honestly great scores at that! i think i'm ready to pick right up from where i'm leaving off once maimai DX officially releases in the US, though i imagine that's not for another long while... in the meantime, i'll keep practicing and improving as much as i possibly can! highlights from this session specifically include a clear on raputa [Expert 13+], S-rank on Vampire [Master 11+], an AA on Baka Mitai [Master 13] (somehow), and an SSS FC on Rush-More [Expert 10+]!!!

while maimai was insanely cool and fun to play, i had my eyes on something more unique... something rarer and impossible to find out in the while nowadays. that's right baybeee, DJMAX TECHNIKA 3 IN THE FLESH!!!! MY FIRST TIME EVER LAYING EYES UPON A CAB, LET ALONE PLAYING ON ONE!!!! it's surreal... such an important and incredible game for its time, i'm so glad to be graced by its presence, and even gladder to have played through two sets on it! i'd like to say though... this game is HARD . i seriously don't know how to keep up with the rhythms and the timing windows, a touch-screen keysounded rhythm game is definitely a frightful combination of words in text, and even More frightening to actually play.

short chuni set!!! a few upscores here and there... naw but seriously, these are INSANE, like SS+ on Fracture Ray and an SS on ouroboros [Master 14+]??? wahoo, +0.02 !!!

the maimai scores are spread out super far apart since most of it was just waiting in the card queue for my turn every hour or so, so i'll just bunch them up here to make the rest of the scores easier to describe... during the sets, i managed to get a super cool AA on Scarlet Police [Master 13], an S rank on Got more raves? [Expert 12+], an insane near-SSS upscore (though just barely missing an FC) on The Intense Voice of Hatsune Miku [Expert 12], a sightread FC on Haikei Doppelganger [Expert 12+], and raising my raputa [Expert 13+] up to AAA just before leaving...!

phew, okay, that's all the maimai out of the way... now it's time to showcase some of the other super cool games on display here, starting with.... EZ2AC: NIGHT TRAVELER!!! haven't played this version before, but it's definitely my favorite one of the series that i've seen... such a great aesthetic, and an incredible song selection to go along with it as well!!! definitely the peak of the latter half of the series' life... and just as hard as i remembered it, too! a bit too hard, mayhaps... but i already have EZ2ON for playing 5K only, i have to make the most of the 5K standard offered exclusively by the cab!

a very brief and spontaneous score in terms of DDR though... would've loved to get more, but i'm really not used to the pads of the X-era cab specifically... still a 980k on Glitter Flatter Scatter ain't bad at all! could def AAA this on a white cab given the chance...

and now, to conclude the scoredump... here's the last of the chuni scores i secured near the end of the session (minus one that's not really important because of the 30-image limit)!!! a near-SS on HERA [Master 14+], an SS on Oshama Scramble! (Cranky Remix) [WORLD'S END ?] of all things, a massive upscore to SS+ on DX Chouseinou Fullmetal Shoujo [Master 14] (and +0.01 PTT)... and to conclude, several unsuccessful SS+ attempts on Disruptor Array [Master 15]!!! i can feel it... it's so close, yet so far... may not be able to get it anytime soon, but i'd love to try again some other time!
