i think this is my first (and probably last) post about this because i have so many feelings and i know i cant waste more time diving into them because i will just cry more and waste time and-

i understand that lando was mad. i understand that he was furious with the team – so was i – and that excuses 99% of his actions in my mind. he's allowed to be bitchy on the radio (which he wasn't really, tbh, he was mostly quiet lol), he's allowed to act strangely and espECIALLY when the team doesn't give him any straighforward orders (should've been a "lando. you will let oscar pass. end of discussion." instead of "hey... think of all our morning meetings together..." and the other emotional blackmail).

BUT. the thing it doesnt excuse is him ignoring oscar on the podium. im getting more and more furious over this the more time passes and the more times i re-watch the clip, because what. the. fuck. ?!?!??!!?

yes you're upset at the team, but it's not oscar's fault. in no way does oscar need your anger. like, i know lando is better than this! he can handle his emotions, he's not a little baby. oscar already had his first win not feel like a win; he didn't get to celebrate on the radio, he wasn't overjoyed in parc ferme. the least you can do is douse your friend in champagne to make him feel better!!!!

and like to me there's just nothing that excuses this. no "he didn't wanna break his trophy" (solution: wait and let osc put it down, then do your champagne pop and attack him) and no "he was upset" (solution: grow tf up, this isn't oscar's fault!!).

it's all based on the fact that lando is more mature and smarter than this. if it had been another driver, maybe i wouldn't have been surprised. if it had been another pairing, i probs wouldn't have cared. but lando this isn't just anyone, this is oscar. your osc, your osco. he didn't deserve to be standing there on the podium, seeing both lando and lewis walk away from him.

//okay but THIS ONE is actually real. the second wheel of codes under the Henchmaniacs symbols (the largest ones- note PaciFire's forehead symbol partially obscured by cloud on the right which is the giveaway) ... well, the second ring is lkfskjdhfka THERAPRISM CODE. which means that third ring might ALSO be a code?! Also I think I see some Runic down there a couple of layers deeper??

Additionally the runic code from BoB has now been deciphered IN THE SHOW'S OPENING and it says 'hey dip' where he's there next to the rune markers ( https://www.reddit.com/r/gravityfalls/comments/1ectnaa/after_all_these_years_we_can_finally_translate/ )

Also yeah I got the phone message from the BILLboard to work finally and yeah #4 says "Sorry Gus" at the end in Bill's voice. RIP GUS

OK, so I messed up my entire Linux system by thinking I could install TSM through Lutris again. Today I did a clean reinstall of Ubuntu, thought that would solve my problem. Reinstalled Lutris, started up just fine, but TS2 has been failing to install all afternoon. It either exits with error code 256 or the installer grinds to a halt halfway through and stays on 65% for half an hour before I get frustrated and cancel.

I got bored fussing around with it, so I’m back on my Win11 desktop trying to play TS3. Emphasis on trying, in every sense of the word. I loaded my latest BDZ save and guess what? I couldn’t have my sims interact with any of the computers on the lot! So now I have to fix that too.

Technology. It’s mocking me.

I think I am faceblind [never had a diagnosis] and I cannot, for the life of me, tell David Burke and Edward Hardwicke apart. They are the same person, maybe also because I only know them as Watson(s).

Even if I put them right next to each other like here they look the same to me. :,( (Yes, the hair is a bit different and one has darker eyebrows, but apart from that - they - are - the - same.)

It took me almost the whole episode of The Empty House to realise why I felt so uneasy about Watson. :D If I concentrate now, I can see they have different mannerisms, but over all, it's a lost cause. :(
