(I've been obsessed with "A World of Samurais and Ninjas" and I was amazed at your brilliance of being able to think of this because boy have this story and this concept have been eating at me for months!! I wanted to ask your permission to use it because your fic is the only one I know of that uses this concept! I really want to make a Leosagi au or story where they meet that isn't the Battle Nexus, Run of the Mill or traitor Usagi... (Two are usually angsty aus and the run of the mill, I wanted something different.))

Hello friend.

I’m so glad you love my fic. I worked really hard on it and trying to get the world building right while still paying homage to the original cannons or Rise, tmnt (in general) and Usagi Yojimbo.

The reason I wrote it in the first place is the same reason you listed. I wanted to read this story, but it just wasn’t there. And my mind was kinda shook that it didn’t exist. So I made it.

I love the other aus to but sometimes you just want a different flavor.

That being said if you want to use my version of the Tenshu and the world, then yes you can.

I’m fine with it.

My idea on fandom projects like this is it’s all a sandbox where we make content together. If I made something that inspires you and that you and to use in your own writing or art then please do.

Just give me a shout out in credit and drop a link so I can read it to!

The song just fit the vibes of the fic for me. Which is why even though the thing I drew didn’t actually really happen in the fic I still count it as fanart. Lets just say it takes place in an alternate time where at some point Leo gets a brace for his leg and he and Usagi reunite. Like their 2nd date because the festival was the 1st. Which is why Leo doesn’t have his flower crown and I totally didn’t forget about until it was finished shut up.

Since Leo often gets mistaken to be a Kappa (but make it pretty) please tell me that someone in Usagi's world offered him a cucumber at least once.

That is hilarious.

I normally have him called kame (Japanese for turtle) or Kami (Japanese for god) but I don’t think I’ve used kappa yet (Japanese turtle yokai)

Him being called kappa is so funny to me because your right they are obsessed with cucumbers which becomes hilarious because Señor Hueso calls Leo pepino which means cucumber in Spanish.

So people in Usagi’s world handing Leo cucumbers thinking he’s a kappa is hilarious because Leo’s just going to think another group of people are calling him a cucumber while Usagi is dying because he knows exactly what a kappa is and what their myths entail.

Kaida first slice of pizza

Kaida remembers when she tried pizza for the first time, that day was movie night, she was 3 years old at the time so she doesn't remember everything properly but she does remember when her uncle Mike and uncle Gen arrived with many boxes of pizza. She had never been more excited at that time, while her parents would brought pizza for dinner sometimes, she had never properly tried it, her Otou-san Usagi always worried that she would choke on the pizza because she didn't have all her teeth yet, even though her dad Leo would tell him that he was over reacting, her siblings would always give her a little taste but never the whole slice, that was what bothered her the most why couldn't she eat a slice of pizza?!!!. But not that day, that day her parents let her eat a full slice because she was old enough to eat it properly. She saw how everyone approached the boxes and took their pizzas so she also approached, she took one of the many pizzas that were there and took one slice and went, she sat there looking at her slice before she saw all her family, her uncles Mikey Raph Gen and her Otou-san Usagi were eating while watching the movie, her uncle and aunt April and Donnie were talking to her dad Leo about something related to his pizza option, her grandparents were talking to each other without paying attention to them while the gargoyles were sleeping in their strange bed, her sisters were listening to one of their aunts Cass and Kitsune's adventures very attentively while Jotaro and Casey were talking about some comics Casey had bought. Everyone was happy, without worries, with tranquility that made her feel happy, she looked at her pizza one last time before and finally she took a bite of her pizza with a lot of enthusiasm from her family, that moment was one of the happiest she had and she would never change it with anything.

Notes: sooo u like it? i hope there arent that many errors- anyways i prob going to make a little drawing after but i wanted to post this first (besides i have exams next week and i prob wouldnt have that much time) .... what do you think @annonniiiiieeeee :)

Oh my goodness. I’m blown away by this. The yukata is perfect!! Not only do we have Leo in his yukata but also in Usagi’s Haori. I can’t praise this enough. Thank you so much for bringing my vision to life

This is the fic that made me care about Rise!Leo x Usagi tbh. I've got a huge softspot for '03 KatanaShipping, but it was strictly platonic/non-romantic with other versions. And then this fic happened so.

TL;DR - The fic? Leo's rescue from the prison dimension ends up with Mikey having a portal mishap. Leo gets sent to Usagi's dimension instead, where a teen Usagi (with his dad teacher Katsuichi and Gunichi) find him very injured.

Well... in a universe not yet designated as S-20-A-22, Leo lands in a world where everyone is functionally a mutant. As he is perceived naked by this universes' populace, a certain not-quite-samurai rabbit decides to help him out.

They end up helping each other out quite a bit...

Design Process and Sketch Below:

Leo's outfit is most inspired by Lou Jitsu (the original not his dad's new suit) and Karai with a little sprinkle of Kraangpocolypse Leo.

Other stylistic inspirations were Usagi Chronicles (where the bands on the gloves and ankles come from) and the parkour video game Mirror's Edge (why there's a more sporty/ athletic wear look and no sleeves).

The seven triangles coming off of the Hamato Clan symbol represent the seven members of his clan- his brothers, April, the Caseys, and Splinter.

I like the idea of Yuichi working at Run of The Mill in a fusion setting, but I think everyone is missing an excellent opportunity by just making him competent at his job.

Here me out: Hueso is running his restaurant in secret on the surface, which likely limits his access to supplies and ingredients from either side.

...and Yuichi's aunt canonically runs a farm.

So picture this: Yuichi is just getting to the peak of his Samurai fanboy phase when he's really wanting to strike out on his own & prove his independence.

His aunt, however, wants him to maybe start a little bit- smaller.

So she reaches out to the community and her regular buyers to see if anyone needs a hand around their businesses.

The majority turn her down, and the few that don't are quick to show bunny-boy out the door within the day with the amount of chaos he causes.

Finally, desperate, she strikes a deal with Hueso: as long as he keeps Yuichi employed, he'll get a special deal on all the produce & supplies he gets from her farm.

Hueso, in need of some new waitstaff and desperate to restock after the hits taken during the invasion, grudgingly agrees.

He comes to regret this, but not enough to actually fire him. Yet.

The limit's coming quick though, and it's going to be reached even quicker when a certain blue turtle recovers enough to start making a menace of himself around the restaurant again, this time in an extremely targeted fashion towards his new rabbit waiter.
