I was never for or against Jiara but I know a lot of people were excited to see them together in season 4. I personally feel like the chemistry and romance wasn’t there. I believe we saw some of it in the earlier seasons but when they finally got together it just seemed not right? Even her reaction to his death just didn’t seem genuine. I felt like they all showed so much more emotion when they thought John B and Sarah died. Idk I was kind of disappointed with their little love story and then they just killed JJ off what was even the point of them.

Just my opinion.

I will also never forgive the writers for taking JJ from us.

i feel like a lot briizes don't want to advocate for seunghan. every day someone is arguing against boycotting their next comeback because it'll "hurt the other guys." well don't you think it hurts them that their friend is hiding in some fucking basement? unemployed? I highly doubt any of those guys know what the hell their next move is regarding seunghan

how the hell are we suppose to make our voices heard if sending emails, reporting to kwangya 119, sending trucks, sending messages on weverse, etc isn't helping?! these types of situations aren't suppose to be easy or peaceful. for god's sake we're literally fighting for someone to be treated fairly and allowed to work with his FRIENDS again. this shit was not sweet from the get-go so what the hell makes you think it's going to be sweet now?!

i'm sure the other members would be happy to know that there are people out there that love their friend so much that they would go these lengths. I am positive they want to see seunghan back. I know they want to promote as 7 and would be glad to piss off a couple of assholes in SM if it meant getting their brother back.

Okay so I’ve seen a lot of people being like “oh Eurylochus is not a hypocrite bc he didn’t intentionally sacrifice the crew with Circe like Odysseus did with Scylla”

And while yes it is not the same, uh…….. here’s the problem from my perspective and why I still totally think he’s a hypocrite.

He was the one who had those men under his command. Odysseus gave him a mission and for that mission, Eurylochus was in charge of those guys. Then he LOSES (yes it is his fault, he was responsible for those men) the men to Circe and then runs back to Odysseus and immediately is trying to leave. He in a way is actively choosing to ABANDON those men without even TRYING to attempt a plan to save them. Like he doesn’t even think about it.

Yes Odysseus and the Scylla situation are messed up and it is not the same as Eurylochus and the Circe situation, but sorry guys this man is absolutely still a hypocrite. For his own self preservation he was about to abandon a bunch of men HE LOST to a supposed evil. The only difference is that Ody did it deliberately while Eurylochus’ incompetence caused it.

And here’s the thing, we can argue that Odysseus bc of the Scylla situation is more of a monster than Eury. I’m not even saying the mutiny is not justified. IT ABSOLUTELY WAS. The crew absolutely should have mutinied and Eury was right to challenge Ody.

However, these characters are complex and like yeah, Ody is a monster and a conniving schemer, but he is ultimately just a man trying to get home. And Eury is a fool and a hypocrite that would abandon his men for his mistakes but he is also just a tired man who is starving and suffering.

Ok so. I've been trying to design Odysseus for a while BUT GOD, HE IS?? SO HARD. TO DESIGN. I DON'T GET IT-

I got every past interpretations of him from history! I TRIED TO BE FAITHFUL, WHILE ALSO WANTING TO ADD MY OWN SPIN LIKE GIVING HIM GREEN FOR HIS CUNNINGNESS AND A RED CAPE TO CONTRAST WITH THE BLUES OF MY PENELOPE DESIGN- BUT NOTHING WORKS.

Just a little Oc rant real quick:

A trait I love in characters, is highlighting the fine line between good and bad. Like, just how easy it would be for a person to completely lose it.

Like Bodie for example; he may be the father figure who we all know and love, but he’s just one loss away from completely self-destructing. We saw a little hint of this in the last few GB episode’s when Bodie explained how he coped with the loss of his family. But now? That loss would hit so much harder. Bodie is a man with a lot of love to give, someone who needs to love and be loved. He NEEDS that connection with other people. (Granted, most intelligent life forms do, but im highlighting Bodie because he’s a good example) Even when he tried to close himself off by numbing his problems with alcohol, he still connected with Marco because that’s who he is. Deep down he KNEW he needed family again. So to have that family ripped from him a second time? There would be nothing stopping him from going absolutely fucking feral.

This is partially why I gave Esther similar traits. She lost the love of her life and she did go off the deep end for a while. (And I’m talking like, Kissin Kate Barlow here.) In fact one could even compare her to Lady Circe. Save for the fact she didn’t start enslaving people. Esther is currently in that state of pushing people away for fear of losing them. For fear of losing herself again. But now she, like Bodie, has something to lose again. And I don’t think Esther, again like Bodie, could handle another experience like that without going to the point of no return.

Just because a person is “Good” doesn’t mean they don’t have a breaking point. They just haven’t hit it yet.

Just and FYI to everyone in the fandom since the topic was brought up: Creepypasta doesn’t really have a solid “canon”. I see this around a lot and just wanted to mentioned that everything in the Creep fandom is just ideas welded together with the foundation of not very well written scary stories. Some of people people can like, or not like, and decide to implement what and change other things. I’ve seen some debate about what’s true canon. (Mostly with Ben being a child, Jeff always wearing a white hoodie, or even Slender eating children vs consuming souls.) But the reality is (coming from someone who’s been in the creep fandom since 2013), there is no true canon. Go crazy. Make Jeff trans, make EJ a cat-boy, give Offender a better name since his brothers deserve a fourth, make Zalgo a big softie instead of the usual hardass!

(Also, my dear anon, this isn’t directed toward you. The word canon reminded me of this topic, and I’ve been wanting to mention it to my blog. Although I usually see it on tiktok, I sometimes come across it on Tumblr as well.)

howEevveeerrr, back to responding to the ask, I do love writing for characters what an opposing personality from their usual self! :] I had an idea a while ago about what if Slender was pushed too hard and turned cruel and strict in order to keep everyone alive.

But yes I would definitely write for Slender who was cruel and didn’t care about anyone but himself. The proxies may attempt a bit of mutiny.
