just watched a video of a diver rotating a shark to keep it from biting them and it got ne thinking

imagine swimming(or even just walking) with the octario and theyre getting a lil to aggressive so you decide to just, if you’re swimming, flip them around, and if you’re walking, turn them around so theyre walking/facing the other way

i think it would be really funny cause it would catch them off guard and force them to think for a bit and allow the mc/reader to catch a breather for a bit

I already answered an ask similar to this, but Azul wasn't part of it!

I think telling Azul to "get rotated" wouldn't necessarily work considering how wriggly and flexible octopi are. Eels are too, but not quite to the same extent octopi are. If you tried rotating him, he'd just stick to you and make you rotate with him.

He's less off guard and more unamused. I think the rotating works so well for sharks because of the sensors on their snouts, and touching them there and suddenly twisting them disorientates them. Octopi don't really get disorientated in such ways.

More likely than not, you'd going to find yourself wrapped up in tentacles as Azul learns about you through the stimulus gained from his suckers. Though, those limbs have their own mini brain and act on their own....so don't mind if one of them presses against your mouth in a type of chaste kiss...they do want Azul subconsciously wants.
