NOT ANOTHER RAINBOW LEGACY CHALLENGE

Welcome to this ten generation legacy challenge based on vibrant colors! Inspired by all the other color themed legacies out there, because who doesn’t like basing their sims whole personality on a color (I know I’m a sucker for it lol). I won’t put a long list of rules here, because at the end of the day I want this to be your gameplay and story that you create. I will suggest that you follow each generation, but if something isn’t to your liking, by all means, change it for yourself. With that being said, don’t claim this challenge as your own, even if you tweak it. Remember, though, legacy challenges are all about having fun!

Generation One: Licorice.

That doesn’t matter, though, because as soon as you can, you move out of your parents home so that you can start your own life and family. Love isn’t easy, as you don’t truly know what it’s supposed to look like, but with how kind and caring you are, it almost comes easy to you.

You have a baby with someone you’re engaged to be married to. But as soon as you can, you pack up and leave them, taking the baby with you.

Aspiration: Master Maker.

Career: Plopsy Seller.

Live in Evergreen Harbor (If you don’t already, move there as a YA).

Live in Port Promise, where you must make the eco footprint green.

Knitted and Fabricated items can be sold on Plopsy when you need simoleons.

Get engaged and try for a baby until one of you is pregnant.

Once you have reached green for the eco footprint; break off the engagement, take the baby and move to Sulani.

You have a real eye for fashion. Although, you don’t really have a knack for picking up work. You’re more likely to be suntanning than actually doing your job. The few times you do accept a job, you fall in love with the model. Instead of falling happily in love together, you are constantly fighting, and to make matters worse, you have a kid together. Something neither of you wanted.

Traits: Self-Absorbed, Lazy, Hates Children. (Additional: Jealous, Squeamish)

Aspiration: Beach Life.

You never really were good with decisions, especially ones that could really impact your future.

(EN) SIMS 4 Monster High Legacy Challenge!!!

Hi guys! First post on tumblr, kinda excited. For a long time I've been struggling with attempting new Sims 4 legacy challenges, as I couldn't find any that also go into newer packs. I've played Not So Berry a bunch of times (never actually finished lol), and it inspired me to go into a rabbithole of legacy challenges. Before we start, this challenge was inspired by a Sims 3 Monster High challenge made by simmingsamantha.tumblr.com. I took A LOT of inspiration (especially in the beggining) when making this challenge, so please, make sure to check them out. <3 This challenge was made inspired by my fav characters from Monster High. You don't need to make your sims look like the dolls, there's specific color suggestions but also - you don't need to follow them. Play the challenge the way YOU are going to enjoy it! NOW ONTO THE BASIC RULES! 1. Normal lifespan, 2. No cheats, unless stated otherwise, 3. I suggest using the color combos provided to make the game look more interesting, 4. so i DID find my most recent just dessert legacy save so that will start back up soon! i did have some things just about ready to post but decided to hold off in case the save was lost lol obviously i still had a back up from when she was a child so worst comes to worse i could have caught back up but i would have been missing the new sims i made and the new house (that i had already rebuilt once since my cat unplugged my pc mid build)

also i did end up starting to write my own challenge and i feel like i did so much yesterday. i might end up making a discord way off into the future if anyone is interested in giving feedback or anything once it is actually more solid and refined a bit. i think i might wait until the life and death pack comes out because im interested to see what could be included in a specific gen that i have in mind. i might ramble some more about it another day but im really excited about it.

the wild robot movie was so good and i cried like 3 different times, i don’t know why i am so emotionally attached to the story (i do know, im mentally ill LOL) but regardless i recommend it.

like a week or so ago i pulled a muscle in my back/shoulder but on friday i tried lifting again and made it wayyyy worse so ive been in so much pain lately, not fun. i am kinda feeling ok right now though as long as im not moving too much

right now as i am typing this im waiting for a video for work to finish exporting so that i can get on the sims but so far its already taken over 2 hours and it has approximately an hour an a half of export time left which i hope is a lie since i need to wake up early tomorrow. i literally just realized its not even 8pm yet but im already exhausted from waking up at 6 this morning and not going back to bed. i just want to play a little bit of sims today since i haven’t at all.

tomorrow morning my boyfriend is taking me to cvs to pick up meds and out to breakfast as long as i am up early enough to do all of that and get back home before my monday morning work meeting 🫠 there is this small local chain coffee shop where i live that has the best breakfast food. they updated their menu u over the summer and added cinnamon bun pancakes and they are incredible so i’m looking forward to it lol

The ‘Spice of Life’✨ Legacy Challenge

Sometimes playing the sims can get a little stale, and somewhat repetitive, especially The Sims 4. I know I can get stuck playing the same stories over and over again, so I decided to create this challenge to add a little excitement and variety to my, and hopefully your, game-play!

You’re a sim who loves to get down, go on adventures and spend time with other sims! You can be a bit of a handful for some sims, but that’s okay! You’ve been wild since the day you were born and you wouldn’t want to be any other way. You have about a million things you want to do in your life time and you’re gonna do them all!

Aspiration: Friend of the Animals

Traits: Dance Machine, Adventurous, Outgoing

Generation rules / goals:

Join the secret agent career and get to the top of it before your sim becomes an elder

Once your sim is an elder have them start a new job, keep them on their toes!

Complete the Friend of the Animals aspiration

Master the Dance & Pet training skills throughout your sims lifetime

Have five animals in your sims house-hold at one time (these should be cats, dogs, raccoon, foxes, etc.) - you don’t always have to have five but you should at some point

Have you sim have at least 10 friends and having a falling out with one of them and become enemies

Have a best-friend that is NOT your partner / spouse

Have your sim go out at least once every weekend to either the club, the bar or somewhere else they can dance! They’re a dance machine remember!

Your sim can have as many children as you like, but keep in mind that they have a lot of animals in the house

You must have at least one child in order for them to become heir, they can be adopted or biological, it doesn’t matter!

Go on at least two family vacations, one of these must be to Mt. Komorebi

Have your sim be a very relaxed parent, no rules, no pressure to get good grades, etc. (Parenthood is needed for this but if you don’t have it that’s okay just do your best without it!) 

Gen 2: The Money Maker

Your parent was the coolest! but you always wished there was more structure in your life. You’re a perfectionist, and truth be told a little materialistic, but that doesn’t make you a bad person! You love to hangout with friends, playing video games and chatting about the latest Sci-Fi movies. From the time you were a child you knew you wanted the best things in life and were determined to work your butt off to get them! 

Aspiration: Mansion Baron

Traits: Perfectionist, Geek, Materialistic

Generation rules / goals:

Have your sim start working as a teenager to save up for their future house

Complete the Mansion Baron inspiration

Reach the max level of the Business Career in either the Investor or Management branch (although the Investor branch makes a bit more money!)

Master the video gaming skill throughout your sims lifetime

Have your sim start their own club once in their teens with ‘Play video games’ as the main activity. Keep this club going throughout your sims life and try to have a club meeting once a week 

Make your sim go to GeekCon whenever they can, once they have kids bring them along as well!

Have a hobby that can make you money - kind of like a side job. Whatever skill you choose (painting, flower arranging, etc.) master it

Once your sim completes their Mansion Baron aspiration have dinner parties once a week - Your sim is materialistic and they want to show off the nice house they’ve worked so hard for!

Once your sim becomes an elder have them retire and focus only on hobbies and relaxation (only once they’re reached the max level in their career though)

Gen 3: The Tree Hugger

You grew up in a wealthy household with pretty much everything you could have wanted. You had a great childhood and your admired your parents work ethic, although you knew that when you grew up you wanted to do something more meaningful for the world than investing. So you packed up your bags as soon as you hit young adulthood and moved to Evergreen Harbour

Aspiration: Eco Innovator

Traits: Green Fiend, Vegetarian, Good

Generation rules / goals:

Your sim should be a vegetarian as soon as they hit their teenage years

As a teen your sims should also start their own garden and begin working on their gardening skill

Your sim should complete the Eco Innovator aspiration within their lifetime

Master the Gardening skill throughout your sims lifetime

Master the Juice Fizzing skill throughout your sims lifetime

Join and reach the max level of the Civil Designer career

Your sim should live as sustainably as possible for this generation, this includes owning a bee box, having a dew collector and recycling with the home recycling machine

Have your sim marry someone as Eco-friendly as you bonus points if it’s Knox lol

Have an at home, eco friendly wedding in your sims backyard / yard. Having the wedding cake be a honey cake, get creative with it!

Adopt an animal that’s not a typical pet (raccoon, fox, etc.) your sim found this little buddy while dumpster diving and bonded instantly

Gen 4: The Undecided

You grew up with a parent and grandparent who accomplished great things; they were sims who worked hard and stuck to their guns. You have always been..well a bit different. You can’t even decide what you want for breakfast, let alone pick a career or spouse. This makes you jealous of others like your parent and grandparent who you believe have their life together.

Aspiration: You must change your sims aspiration 3 times during their life but never complete one, not even their childhood one.

Traits: Non-committal, Jealous, Erratic

Generation rules / goals: 

Join and quit scouts as a kid; get about halfway through before you quit

Have your sim join at least two jobs as a teenager. They can join and quit more if you like

Get your sim to level 5 of at least three skill during their lifetime before they quit those as well

Change your sims career multiple times, making sure they never reach the top of any career

Get your sim married, and divorced...twice. It’s up to you whether you sim ends up finding someone to stay with. However, your sim must have only have one child from all of their relationships.

Have your sim have an affair during one of their relationships. It’s up to you whether the partner finds out about this or not

Your sim must lose their relationship with the Gen 3 sim (their parent) after a big fight over Gen 4′s jealousy issue. Your sim should never speak to that parent again

Your sim must never be best friends or true lovers with anyone; they are non-committal and that means no matter how much they care for another sim they feel somewhat unsure about every relationship

Gen 5: The Vampire Groupie

Your childhood was less than ideal, although your parent loved you they had a lot of their own problems and that left you pretty lonely at times. Your solace was a particular vampire movie about a sim who falls in love with a vampire. “That could be me,” you though, “That WILL be me.” So when you become a young adult you take everything you have and leave in search of your dream life in Forgotten Hollow, the only problem with your plan is that you’re just a bit squeamish... okay a lot

Aspiration: Master Vampire

Traits: Romantic, Family Oriented, Squeamish 

Generation rules / goals: 

Your sim should watch a lot of movies as a child and teen. Of course your sim loves that particular vampire movie that definitely doesn’t rhyme with Highlight, but really they love all movies

As soon as your sim becomes a young adult move them into Forgotten Hollow

Meet and start a relationship with a vampire of your choice; you can put a sim from the gallery in your game or date Caleb Vatore, Lilith Vatore, or even Vlad Straud if you want!

I think this goes without saying but your sim should be turned into a vampire for this generation lol

Complete the Master Vampire Aspiration

You can have any career for this generation, it doesn’t matter!

Master the Vampire Lore skill throughout your sims lifetime

Master the Pipe Organ skill throughout your sims lifetime

Start a ‘Vampire Club’ with only other vampires present, you can use this club to do any kind of vampire activity - however, since you left your old life behind, these sims are your only friends

Your sim is squeamish so they personally choose not to drink other sims blood unless absolutely necessary, this means your sim must grow and sustain a garden full of plasma plants

Once your sim obtains a plasma fruit (and two garlic) they can prepare a Sunlight Reversal Cocktail if they like, that way they can go into the sun during the day; this isn’t required though

Your sim must have at least three kids. One of these children should NOT be a vampire. This will be the heir. If all of your children are born vampires you can use a mods to make them human. I recommend MC Command Center, which you can find here: https://deaderpool-mccc.com/#/releases

I also recommend this mod: https://modthesims.info/d/589300/child-vampire-manifestation-v1-9.html which basically makes it so that child vampires can perform any vampire actions, just like teens, young adults, etc.

Gen 6: The Beach Bum

Your parents are absolutely wonderful, but are weird. In fact, you’re convinced that you’re the only sane one out of your whole family. You love them but who in the right mind would want to live the life of a vampire? You knew early on that the vampire life was not for you, and thank goodness you just so happened to be the only sibling born human! I guess you can thank those recessive genes. You want to live the Beach Life, spending your days out in the sun and working to conserve the beautiful island of Sulani!

Aspiration: Beach Life

Traits: Child of the Ocean, Loves the Outdoors, Free Trait / You can pick your sims third trait!

Generation rules / goals:

Your sim must move to Sulani as a young adult and spend their whole life there

Reach the max level of the Conservationist Career

Complete the Beach Life aspiration

Befriend as least one mermaid - your sim can become a mermaid to if they want but it’s not necessary

Marry someone who already lives on Sulani as well

Have your sim live in a house on the beach at least once during your their life

Complete the sea shell collection

Spend ALOT of time outside; fish, ski-do, tan on the beach - your sim loves the outdoors and the Sulani sun, anything they can do outside they will

Keep a close relationship between your sim and their parents & siblings - even though they don’t love the vampire life they love their family

Gen 7: The Tinkerer

You’ve always been a homebody, hanging out in your house on the computer and tinkering with things in the home. Your parent was always nagging you to go outside and play as a kid. As soon as you were old enough to hold a wrench you were fixing things. You knew when you became a young adult you wanted to go to Foxbury Institute and learn to program and create robots!

Aspiration: Computer Whiz

Traits: Genius, The other two traits can be anything you choose!

Generation rules / goals:

Your sim should spend a lot of time inside as a kid, using the computer, reading books, playing video games

Have your sim complete the Whiz Kid aspiration as a child

Master the Logic skill throughout your sims lifetime

Master the Robotics skill throughout your sims lifetime

Master the Handiness skill throughout your sims lifetime

Once your sim becomes a teenager they should be the one who fixes ANYTHING broken within the household

In order for your sim to attend Foxbury Institute for a Computer Science degree your sim must have certain skills (such as computer programming, robotics, etc.) since it is a distinguished degree. You’ll need to work on these skills as a teen to have a chance to be excepted there. If you don’t feel like having your sim work on those skills as a teen your sim can attend Britechester University but they should still work on the robotics skill!

Complete the Computer Whiz aspiration

Graduate university with a degree in Computer Science

Live in a modern style house in any world

Gen 8: The Believer

Your parent has always been a technological genius, creating artificial intelligence. But you’ve always known that science wasn’t needed for there to be fantastical things in this world. No one else in your family believes your crazy ideas about alien but hey, you once heard that your great grandparents were vampires, so it could be possible! Sure you’re a little erratic but you’re determined to prove the existence of aliens, and befriend them. How will you do this? Well by becoming an iron pumping, rocket building astronaut of course!

Aspiration: Bodybuilder

Traits: Athletic, Self-Assured, You can pick your sims third trait!

Generation rules / goals:

You sim must join and reach the top of the Astronaut career

Your sim must live in Oasis Springs

Have your sim complete the Body Builder aspiration - astronauts have to be strong after all!

Master the Rocket Science skill

Your sim will unlock a rocket when they reach level 10 of their career (the rocket can either be the Apollo Rocket - unlocked though the Space Ranger branch of the astronaut career, or the Retro Rocket - unlocked through the Interstellar Smuggler branch. You can choose which rocket you want)  but honestly who wants to wait for that, so as soon as your sim gets to level 5 of their career use cheats to unlock the rocket and start building!

Once your sim has completed their rocket you must level up their Rocket Science skill to level 10 and then install the Wormhole Generator upgrade. This will allow you to travel to Sixam and meet aliens!

Your sim must befriend and marry an alien they meet on Sixam. If you don’t like that particular alien you can either come back to Sixam or open CAS and edit them, either is fine.

Have your sim have a baby with their new alien spouse. Only have ONE baby.

If your sims baby is born NOT an alien you can use cheats to make them one. MC Command Center can be used for this and is linked above for Generation 5

Gen 9: The Star of Sixam

You’re an alien and you’ve proud of it! You loved listening to your alien parent tell stories of your home world and knew that when you grew up you wanted to make your relatives on Sixam proud. The best way to do this is of course to become the most famous alien musician the Sim world has ever seen!

Aspiration: Musical Genius

Traits: Self-Assured, Perfectionist, Music Lover

Generation rules / goals: 

Your sim must NEVER wear their disguise unless absolutely necessary - they are very proud to be an alien and they don’t see any reason to hide that

As a child your sim should complete the Artistic Prodigy aspiration

Master the Violin skill throughout your sims lifetime

Master the Piano skill throughout your sims lifetime

Your can have your sim master the Singing skill throughout their lifetime if you want, but it isn’t necessary

When your sim becomes a young adult move them to San Myshuno, where their musical dreams can really take off!

Have your sim busk for money in San Myshuno at least 5 times

Have your sim reach the max level in the Musician branch of the Entertainer career

Your sim should marry or be with someone who is also musically interested - you can enter CAS and cheat this or create your sims partner

It doesn't matter how many children your sim has for this generation, but the heir should NOT be an alien - you can use MC Command Center to make them human if you need to

Gen 10: The Apprehensive Actress / Actor  AKA the Final Generation!

You grew up in a VERY artistic household, with parents who were both interested in music and one parent who made a huge career of it. You love acting and knew your parent was ecstatic when you started showing interest in acting as a teen. Unfortunately you don’t really like the idea of being famous...

Aspiration: Master Actress / Actor

Traits: Loner, Good, Creative

Generation rules / goals:

Your sim is an artistic child, however we aren’t gonna worry about completing the Artistic Prodigy aspiration as a child because we did that last generation - you can do it if you want though!

When your sim becomes a teen they should begin working on their acting skills

Your sim should reach the max level of the Acting career

Have your sim master the Acting skill

Your sim should marry someone non-famous in a private ceremony with only those sims (or family and close friends if you like) present

Your sim should maintain as good a reputation as possible - they are still a good sim, they are just a bit anti-social

Once your sim finished the acting career and has achieved the Global Superstar rank they should retire

Your sim, now retired from acting moves to one of two lots in Brindleton Bay that have NO neighbours

They should spend the rest of their life making money off of artistic projects such as knitting, painting, etc.

Have your sim leave the house only when necessary to avoid the paparazzi, and if they do go out they must wear a disguise

Your sims spouse can have any career, but they should NOT be famous in anyway

It is up to you whether you decide to have your sim have children and continue the family :)

Pokémon Legacy Challenge by Simthesia

Hey guys i decided to make my own legacy challenge based on the Pokémon Series as its one of my favourite games ever and I wanted to find a way to incorporate both! Each generation is based on a popular Pokémon from the series and there are 10 gens. 1.Each heir may bare resemblance to the Generation Pokémon but is not necessary for the challenge, but try and keep to the colour such as yellow hair for Pikachu etc 2. You are fine to use money cheats if you want to, although this may make it a lot easier for you , this is not a rags to riches challenge, unless stated in the generation! 3. Each generation needs to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir, and don't switch the aspirations around. 4. Keep the lifespan set on normal 5. I have added optional rules as i know not everyone has every pack , so if you want to chose some of these to do that's fine or even all of them if you have the correct packs. If you don't,  they are not necessary to the challenge

Generation 1 - Pikachu

Pikachu (Japanese: ピカチュウ Pikachu) is an Electric-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I.

You wanna be the very best , like no one ever was ! You're goal is to be the best at your career , solve lots of crimes and to fall in love with that special person! You love your friends, tomatoes, and are generally always happy! You have a big fear of water and struggle even taking a shower. You quite like getting electrocuted and thunder storms are your absolute favourite !

Traits: Cheerful, Self Assured, Ambitious. Aspiration: Soulmate Career: Detective, Secret Agent

Rules: Master Handiness Skill Learn at least 1 Instrument Have at least 3 Best Friends ( Max Friendship ) Marry your first and only love! (optional: must be called Ash lol) Have at least 2 Children Reach level 10 in chosen Career

Optional Rules: Master Dancing Skill (optional with GT) Everytime there is a ThunderStorm throw a thunderstorm party and celebrate! (if you have seasons)

Generation 2 - Bulbasaur 

Bulbasaur (Japanese: フシギダネ Fushigidane) is a dual-type Grass/Poison Pokémon introduced in Generation I.

You love all things nature, and your happy place is being outside among the plants! You feel as though sometimes they even speak to you. You want to achieve all with nature that is possible and gardening is your biggest passion in life. You love to meditate and just be at one with your thoughts.

Traits: Loves Outdoors, Neat, Vegetarian (if you don’t have CL, you can use a random trait) Aspiration: Freelance Botanist Career: Gardener (can only earn money from selling plants unless you have Seasons !)

Rules: Master gardening skill Have at least 20 different plants inside and outside the house Attempt to create every type of Hybrid Plant Have 6 Children and refer to them as your 'seedlings' Marry as a Young Adult and then have your spouse die tragically after completing your family

Optional Rules : Master Herbalism (if you have OR) Master Floristry (if you have seasons) Master Wellness Skill (if you have Spa Day)

Generation 3- Charmander

Charmander (Japanese: ヒトカゲ Hitokage) is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I.

You're a fiery personality with the opinion your above everyone else ! You never fit into your family seeing them as 'weak' and want to strive to be the best, and when you can’t it causes you a lot of anger You're loyal to those who earn your trust but are reluctant to let people in Nothing is really ever good for you , you always strive to be better, and your family come second to work

Traits: Hot Headed, Snob, Perfectionist Aspiration: Mansion Baron Career: Engineer (if you have DU) /Run your own business if you have GTW or Business if not

Rules: Reach level 10 in Chosen Career Max skill in Logic and Programming Marry as an Adult, but always be very suspicious of your spouse When you get halfway you can change a trait , as you mellow out Have at least 2 children with spouse, but you aren't a very good parent Achieve 500000 simoleons in money ( no cheating for this)

Optional Rules : If you own Discover University this sim must attend university , with the intent to do a degree relating to the Engineer career Beat Spicy Curry Challenge (if CL is owned)

Generation 4 - Squirtle 

Squirtle (Japanese: ゼニガメ Zenigame) is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I.

The opposite of your parent you are super mellow and love a good joke ! You also love to play pranks on your family and friends You love water and always want to be in the sea or the pool,  and strive to protect it at all costs. You also love food and are not afraid to take other peoples!

Traits: Glutton, Child of the Ocean (if IL not owned choose any), Goofball Aspiration : Beach life (if playing in Sulani) OR Master Chef Career: Conservationist with Marine Biologist (if playing in Sulani) OR Culinary

Rules : Must live in a different world to parents (if island living is owned it must be Sulani) Max Cooking Skill and Mischief Skill Reach level 6 in fishing skill Have triplets (you may cheat for this ) and they are your only children. Refer to them as your Squirtle squad

Optional : If Island living is owned , they will strive to become a mermaid as they love the ocean and all things water

Generation 5 - Eevee

Eevee (Japanese: イーブイ Eievui) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I.

You have always wanted a big family and to just be the best parent you can be! You love children and caring for others! Your weakness is food just like your parent but you are very particular about where it comes from, and will only eat food you have cooked yourself. You have a creative streak and love to get arty.

Traits : Family Oriented, Foodie, Creative Aspiration : Super Parent ( or Big Happy Family if you don't have Parenthood) Career: Culinary or Stay at Home Parent (earn money from painting)

Rules Must have 8 children and one on these has to be adopted Marry teenage sweetheart and stay married to them for the rest of your life Master Parenting Skill Master Painting Skill Master Gourmet Food Skill Be at least good friends with all of your children Move to live in Newcrest

Optional: Take a family holiday every summer season (if OR or JA is owned )

Generation 6- Mew

Mew (Japanese: ミュウ Mew) is a Psychic-type Mythical Pokémon introduced in Generation I. 

You love to wonder around and explore, you don't like to stay in more than one place at once, and you prefer to be alone. You want to see everything you can and hate being tied down. You love to collect things and hoard them in your house, you could be considered messy. Your child is not ideal for you but you love them all the same.

Traits : Loner, Non Committal, Genius Aspiration: The Curator Career : Begin as a Scientist, leave Job and become a Critic, leave job again and Freelance

Rules : Have only 1 child Move at least 6 times and must live in at least 3 different worlds. Master Rocket Science Skill Go to Sixam Complete Elements Collection Find Sylvan Glade Find Forgotten Grotto

Porygon (Japanese: ポリゴン Porygon) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I.

The opposite of your parent , who loved travelling, you want to live a more grounded life, and prefer to be inside and stable and everything to be clean. You love computers and your passion is gaming, you want to be a top esport athlete and so put all your time into practice, hoping one day you can be the best. You also have a very unique look , some would say mismatched but you think you look amazing. You don't really like other people, you have a lot of social anxiety and going outside is a struggle.

Traits : Neat, Geek Aspiration : Computer Whiz Career: Tech Guru

Absol (Japanese: アブソル Absol) is a Dark-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III.

You have a dark aura about you, and feel a pull to the evil side of things. You love fitness and exercise but at the same time you cant help your desire to become a criminal as you just love to steal things and cant help it Your not necessarily evil just misunderstood and people generally fear you and keep away from you, partly due to your strange upbringing. You also love making drinks and seeing what blends you can come up with. You like going out to strange bars and pubs

puns, amaright? a sims 4 legacy challenge for ur sims that wanna Get Famous™

ok hi!!! lets get started! this legacy challenge is made 4 my darling @foursims ♥

you need: the Get Famous EP

if you’re unsure of how the celebrity system works, a quick google will explain it all. it’s pretty important in this challenge! your goal in every gen is to maintain at least some sort of celebrity level and utilize the perks to your advantage. 

all rules and goals are not there to restrict your game play, only to enhance it. if you decide to add rules/goals to make it harder or to ignore them to make it easier/more enjoyable, please do - you don’t have to ask me permission lol! 

as mentioned, this is only part 1. i didn’t want to write a full 10 generation challenge because i wanted to test out 5 generations using the celebrity system first, as i’m not sure if it will become too boring or repetitive. there are still things i can include that increase fame so more gens may be made if you want them!

Gen 1: Ramsey 

you start this challenge as a teen.

you’ve recently just dropped out of university/college where you were studying cooking. education just wasn’t for you, and lets face it, you’re actually a pretty shit cook. you blamed your teachers for this; you say they weren’t any good! your parents didn’t believe you and disapproved of your decision to leave school. so you’re out on your own in the world! you decide to move to the Hollywood of sims in order to prove to your teachers and most importantly your family, that you will be the best and youngest chef!

traits: gloomy, foodie, hot headed

aspiration: master chef

your goals:

- get to level 10 cooking + gourmet cooking - get to at least level 5 baking - reach level 10 in the cooking career (food branch) - once you have maxed out your career (or feel you can do it during), you must buy and own a restaurant and have it reach at least 4 stars  - marry a co-worker. having the foodie trait also is a bonus!! - have 2 children - write at least 1 cook book - increase your celebrity level passively by posting on social media and visiting clubs ect.

Gen 2: Hepburn 

you were the popular girl/boy in school and lets be honest, you loved it. you were always picked first, always had a flock of sims crushing after you, and everyone wanted to be your friend. this increased your ego, and it followed you into later life.

traits: self-absorbed, outgoing, ambitious

aspiration: master actor 

your goals: 

- get to level 10 acting + charisma - get to at least level 5 comedy + dancing - marry another celebrity (no one less than your own celeb level) - reach maximum celebrity level (positive)  - have 5 children!!!!! - reach at least 50,000 followers on social media - reach level 10 of the acting career (your choice of producers ect.) - have an affair once all your children are born. keep this a secret forever... unless the paparazi catch you ;)  - win at least 2 award nights - become best friends with olivia and judith (the townies) + make a club with them

Gen 3: King

you were always in the spotlight, and you hated it. everyone wanted to be your friend because of your money and parents. all you wanted to do was be alone and read.

traits: non-committal, loner, bookworm

aspiration: best selling author 

your goals:

- reach level 10 writing + logic - reach at least level 5 in gardening  - reach level 10 writing career (author path) and then quit - basically all you do is write lols - marry for a little while - have 1 child (OR twins) - divorce when you reach adulthood - have an average friendship with your children, you aren’t that close 

Gen 4: Gogh

you didn’t really have the best relationship with your parents and you were made fun of at school because your parents were divorced. you turned to the only thing that really made you happy: painting and drawing

you had the best upbringing and had everything you ever asked for. you were surrounded by art as a child, and this flowed into your adult life with the need to be colorful and fashionable in every occasion.

Look at that, I’m doing replies after...more than a month? I don’t know. I didn’t check. I also won’t reply to every single thing because 1) my activity feed doesn’t show it all, as always and 2) it’s too late to reply to some things, it would be pointless now. However, thank you all for commenting from time to time, it makes my day. And well, I was against it at first, but I might start replying directly under the posts, I’ll only do replies posts for things I want to talk about more.

Life updates? I’m doing good. My life, surprisingly, didn’t turn upside down when I started uni. My social life also didn’t change too much. But I have a few friends that I talk to in the classes we have together. It’s not a friendship friendship if you know what I mean, but hey. It’s only the beginning, things might change. I’m not losing faith that I’ll walk out of this school with at least one friend.

Played Roses a bit in the past three days. The random gameplay part was boring, I didn’t know what to do, my heart really wasn’t in it, most of the time I just left the game running and interfered only when it was needed, so I cut down on that and went straight to the storyline. I’m not discontinuing this legacy before Regan gets a happy ending. Once Regan is happy, it’s Golden Days time...which means even more intense storytelling. Yay. I’m already exhausted just thinking about it but also, it’s exciting. I love that story so much and I can’t wait to bring it to life.

yeah its just a trade off i guess lol but having not played sims 3 for a long time makes me miss it and actually enjoy playing it instead of go in to take pics only! plus loading times are not that bad if you merge everything (but thats a problem on its own haha)

Yeah, creating your ts3 sims in ts4 can definitely lead to not wanting to open ts3 because hey, you have them in this other game that loads a lot faster! And I mean, I do love ts3, but...I’m not going to spend an hour or something just on trying to get into the game to do a random photoshoot.

I have a lot of my stuff merged, but I should probably do it again because I got a lot of stuff since then. Right now, it takes about an hour to load my legacy saves...and that’s quite a long time because by the time it loads, I start working on something else and I don’t feel like playing anymore. I’m usually writing while waiting for it to load and of course, when it loads, I’m in the middle of something I can’t put off - a good dialogue, a fun scene or just something important that I was dying to write and now I finally got to it.

One of my sims was an elder and her hair kept going between grey and her natural color when she was younger. Sometimes in the same sitting. She'd come visit, I"d look and it would be grey. I'd look again a few minutes later and it would be red.

Interesting...I think this happened because I had a separate recolour for his red hair, it had only that swatch and no other. When he got older, I switched to a WMS file with all the colours, but I think the game left the original file for his other outfit.

I found that I actually don’t have trouble with the grammar. The grammar seems quite easy to me, everything has its place. When I’m reading something, I often understand what’s in the text. The problem comes when I hear someone speak German lol. I understand very little. It was fine in high school, my teacher spoke slowly, but my teacher here speaks so fast...it’s fun. D:

Glad you’re enjoying it, anon! I spent a lot of last year not feeling inspired to play, and this legacy has reinvigorated that, I’m glad to say! :)

Lengthy list of casual “rules” below!

No money or motive cheating EVER (no cheating in general)

Cannot make any non-playable selectable prior to marriage, but can lock wants on dates etc 

Other than dormitories, sim cannot invite potential spouse to move in prior to marriage

Cannot ‘sterilise’ founder/heirs/spares. They have as many babies as they want (but you can leave them to ‘risky woohoo’ whenever you want, or you can direct them to ‘try for baby’.)

Not allowed to alter any aspect of townies’ genetics/aspiration/turn ons etc

Whatever turn ons/off that spawn randomise with as they age to teen cannot be altered and must be played accordingly

Townie gender prefs must be randomised and can only be altered/enhanced through natural gameplay

No cheating motives/health/fitness/job/university/relations/hobbies

I can select a spawn’s primary aspiration as they age to teen, but roll a dice for secondary (which is only allowed once they hit YA/A)

Traits must be randomised, but you can reduce the genetic probability of passing them down (for greater variety!)

Each generation must have a different naming convention - ie. for this gen each spawn will be ‘LL’ in their name, after their founder mom, Lauralee

ACR is allowed in full devastating effect, but settings can be adjusted to, for example, eliminate teen woohoo as desired.

Sims cannot divorce and may only remarry if the other dies.

If a sim dies and I lose to the reaper, that sim is dead for good. There is no paranormal resurrection.

sims 2 creature-expansion challenge!!!

hey all! this is a legacy challenge i made for sims 2 (in the year of hashem 5778 i know lol) meant to utilize every occult life state and features of every expansion pack, so you can get the most out of your game! cause i know there’s still stuff i haven’t done a lot of, or parts of an ep i haven’t used too much, even though i’ve played sims for YEARS. so, the objective is: have each heir embody their respective expansion and become/befriend the creature of their expansion!

first we’ll cover general rules, then the respective objectives for each generation. i also have a sims 3 version, which i’ll type up and post soon! this is a brand new challenge, so i’m kind of feeling it out and tweaking it as i play it myself. if anyone has suggestions for possible changes, please feel free!

GENERAL RULES

if any heir is to have a career, it may only be from their ep if applicable (includes part time jobs for teens and elders)

all heirs and creature additions to the household (servo and bigfoot) must achieve their ltw, spouses/partners/etc optional

if your heir’s ltw is to master a career they can’t take part in due to the generation’s rules, reroll their ltw if you have something like the sim blender, or change their aspiration. do this until the first allowable ltw pops up!

may not double up on creatures until all rules for that generation have been fulfilled, AND the second creature type has already been achieved. for example: your servo may only become another creature AFTER all the rules for the servo generation have been met. they may become a vampire, or a werewolf after the werewolf gen’s heir has become one, but may not be a witch until the witch generation.

if there were more places to woohoo added in an ep and your heir has kids via try for baby, may ONLY try for baby in places added by their ep (plain ol woohoo is fine wherever, only applicable for try for baby)

all ghosts including pets must be kept on the lot unless it starts to lag. then you may purchase a community lot to use as a family graveyard, OR move a non-aging sim from the legacy (zombie, vampire, servo, etc) to a different lot with all the graves. however, you must keep the graves of the recently deceased generation or two on the lot until the next dies.

must keep free will on

OPTIONAL: keep paintings or photographs of every heir on the home lot

we’re goin back 2 basics babey. you have a limit of 1 custom outfit, hair, OR makeup per life stage, and 2 outfit/hair/makeup from expansion packs per life stage (outerwear doesn’t count don’t worry!). stuff packs are okay, default replacements count as cc. you get +1 cc and ep item for every skill maxed, and everything is unlocked once ltw is achieved!

may not have pleasure or grilled cheese aspirations (counts for secondary aspiration as well)

may not go to university, go on vacation, or live in an added neighborhood (downtown or shopping district)

may only have children with the grim reaper

GEN 2: ZOMBIE

CAREER: paranormal PLACES FOR TRY FOR BABY: any

top paranormal career

your heir must die and be resurrected as a zombie (via resurrect-o-nomitron, NOT genie). they may not die of old age, it must be something else! but they may become a zombie at any possible life stage.

if you choose to have children via try for baby AFTER the heir is a zombie, and thus would be using cheats, you must max a skill before each child is born

your heir must have met their spouse(s)/partner(s)/babyparent(s) at university

earn at least one scholarship as a teenager for a level 8 skill, and at least one scholarship for something not skill related

graduate with a 4.0 gpa

become a member of the secret society

must spend at least one year of college in a dorm

must eventually join or start a greek house, get it to level 6, and throw a toga party at least once

throw a graduation party

become big on campus (max out influence level while at university)

GEN 3: VAMPIRE

CAREERS: any PLACES FOR TRY FOR BABY: nightlife only (car, photo booth)

become a vampire! if they become a vampire as a teenager, must go to university to become a young adult, then drop out or graduate to become an adult

once an adult, move the household downtown

may only have pleasure or grilled cheese aspirations

if they are to ever die, may ONLY do so by burning in the sun. if they die any other way, they must be resurrected (may be a zombie or not)

have at least one first date and one dream date (they may be the same date)

your heir must have met their spouse(s)/partner(s)/babyparent(s) downtown, and they must have triple bolt chemistry

GEN 4: SERVO

CAREER: owned electronics and robotics business PLACES FOR TRY FOR BABY: open for business only (elevator)

open a business selling electronics and robotics and get the business to ten stars

acquire a gold badge in robotics, as well as a gold badge in cashiering, restocking, OR sales

build a servo. the servo must stay with the family at LEAST until the heir dies.

transfer ownership of electronics business to your servo before your heir’s death (you can choose the new owner if it’s a community lot business, not a home business, but as long as the servo has ownership of it by the time of/shortly after the heir’s death then w/e)

once an adult, must move the household to the shopping district

max mechanical skill

if having children through pregnancy instead of adoption, must eat cheesecake to have twins (any children after twins may be single births, or have as many twins as u want idc man)

GEN 5: WEREWOLF

CAREERS: any PLACES FOR TRY FOR BABY: any

family must adopt a puppy when generation are babies/toddlers/children. when older, the heir must adopt a stray dog (or cat) and a wolf

heir must become a werewolf at LEAST by elderhood

if having children by pregnancy, may only have multiple births, meaning twins (or triplets if you have a mod for that)

must raise at least one litter of puppies alongside heir’s children. at least one litter must be half-wolf

have at least one dog top a pet career, and teach all possible commands for dogs (these can be across multiple dogs)

you may have one small animal and one cat at a time

GEN 6: PLANTSIM

CAREERS: seasons only (law, gamer, adventurer, music, journalism, education)

become a plantsim as an adult and ONLY have plantsim children

gain gold badges in gardening and fishing

must have a home garden and pond (you can build skill on other lots too), and the garden must eventually have all types of harvestables at thriving health

catch a golden trout and display it on the home lot

join the garden club, receive the wishing well, and make all 3 wishes (the wishes may or may not be successful)

GEN 7: BIGFOOT

CAREERS: any PLACES FOR TRY FOR BABY: bon voyage only (tent, sauna, hammock)

befriend bigfoot and have him move in! he must stay with the family until he dies.

must go to all three vacation neighborhoods and earn all vacation mementos

collect five seashells and five souvenirs from each location and display them on the souvenir shelf to give the environmental benefits to nearby sims

your heir must have met their spouse(s)/partner(s)/babyparent(s) while on vacation, and if they get married they must go on a honeymoon

have a home spa with a sauna and massage table, a tent or hammock outside, and a mahjong table

since your heir will be a plantsim, they may become a human sim as an adult or elder if you so wish. they may not have plantsim children

ofc please feel free to forego anything that is appropriative, racist, culturally insensitive or just makes u uncomfortable cause lmao thanks EA (this can go for the entirety of sims tbh not just the vacation expansions lol rip)

GEN 8: GENIE

CAREERS: freetime only (entertainment, dance, architecture, intelligence, oceanography) PLACES FOR TRY FOR BABY: any

obtain two genie lamps over the course of the heir’s life and make all six wishes, whether or not they’re successful. try to wish for peace of mind before your heir is already perma-plat but if not then no biggie

max at least 3 hobby enthusiasm thingies and visit at least 5 secret hobby lots

heir must max enthusiasm for their predisposed hobby

gain gold badges in pottery and sewing

every member of the household must wear sewn clothing from the time the heir can sew them until they die. once the silver badge is earned, everyday outfits of all household members must be sewn and not bought. once the gold badge is earned, all household members must wear custom everyday outfits. feel free to have as many other outfits sewn as you like, but you must at least have everyday!

restore a car for the family to use (you may not sell it)

collect all bugs and display the completed collection on the home lot

your heir must have met their spouse(s)/partner(s)/babyparent(s) on a secret hobby lot

must have three children, no more and no less

GEN 9: WITCH

CAREERS: any PLACES FOR TRY FOR BABY: apartment life only (walk-in closet, helicopter)

all three children are heirs!

all three must become witches no later than adulthood

each heir must represent one witch alignment and max their alignment status: one infallibly good witch, one neutral witch, one atrociously evil witch

all must max magic ability

all must have a spectral cat and teach them all commands (this can be across all three cats)

all three must live together their whole lives until they die

once they’re all adults, may ONLY live in apartments

throw a building party at least once

craft both thrones and have them on the home lot

Included in this insane sum is the 20k+ that Wyatt and Jojo brought with them moving in, and at first I’m worried that we’re way too rich for only generation 2. Well, careful what you wish for, cause here’s our post-remodeling budget:

As eagle-eyed readers may observe, both the hall and the living room were designed with nothing else in mind but whether they matched our cat paintings. Per legacy rules I use as little cc as possible, which isn’t that hard since I feel this bizarre, angular and hugely impractical couch really encapsulates Jojo’s essence. Like if he was a servant in Beauty and the Beast this would be his furniture form.

Apparently the only things I deemed important enough to capture were the cat portraits, so it looks like my Komeization is finally complete! Here’s some floorplan shots tho so you don’t get disoriented in our labyrinth-like mansion. Please note our amazing pink-blue-purple kitchen! Barbie’s Dreamhouse who??

And here’s the second floor, which also illustrates the exact point I ran out of money. Honestly looking back I don’t understand how the fuck this place cost 70k?? Like nothing is particularly expensive except the amazing vintage batmobile which was around 30-40k and some of the paintings? But I guess all the small things add up in the end + I’m super bad with money..
