I’ll be going quiet for a bit so I can get my blog migrated to its new home, including spending way too much time coding because I can never just pick a theme and go with it. I’m kinda excited, not gonna lie!

Hey I know @bakiegaming made those great edits of the Eco Lifestyle windows adding slots and stuff but has anybody made an add-on pack that just... flips them the other way? I’m all about symmetry in my builds and the fact that all the larger windows are asymmetrical is really bugging me

My love-hate relationship with midcentury modern / atomic-age architecture continues as i struggle to be clever with an open-plan kitchen/living room using half-walls and cabinets and just grunt a small frustrated curse at the architects behind these ridiculous design choices

Attention

This blog will be moving tomorrow! Since the main blog that this one is attached to has a looooot of NSFW content that I wouldn’t want minors or squeamish individuals to accidentally stumble across, I’ve made the decision to give this sideblog a makeover as its own separate login. I’ll be giving it a proper theme more suited to Simblr-ing and reworking my tagging system, among other things. Y’all have made me feel so welcome in my short time in the community that I hope that I can carry that over into the new blog. All my old posts will get reblogged there before I delete this sideblog, so they won’t get lost. (including putting the readmore sections in the comments of the reblog)

Since I’m getting more active in the simblr community I might bite the bullet and migrate this blog to its own login. I’m constantly nervous that someone might stumble into my main blog’s archive and while I’m not necessarily ashamed of what I write the simblr community has a lot more minors than I’m used to dealing with and wouldn’t want them accessing it, for both our safety. Will post an update once I’ve got it sorted out

Self-care is using CAS as a high-end dollmaker to envision characters from a roleplay you’ve run with a friend for literal years. These are our characters’ five kids; the girls were born as quadruplets after we couldn’t decide if they should have multiples and let a dice roll decide lmao. Their parents are a human and an alien, so they’re a lovely batch of blueberries

The good news: my tax rebate came in and I was able to get my own Switch and a second copy of Animal Crossing

The bad news: I have to completely remake my island because I can’t report the other one missing just to transfer my account and can’t wait until whatever ‘later in the year’ means in order to fully transfer my island. So i’m conscripting my husband to help me transfer all my bells and stored items and then time-traveling to get back at least some of the DIY recipes I’ve worked so hard to get

fortunately all my ‘dreamie’ villagers with the exception of Bam are on amiibo cards i own so i can just reset until i get Bam as a starter again and go from there lol

Update: one worked. The rest don’t seem to want to lol. At least I (sort of) know what to do now.

Omg I just tested moving one of the eyelashes to the acne heading and it doesn’t seem to have broken anything!

Of course, now I discover basically all of my makeup has issues with my skins and overlays… I do know how to fix it, but it’ll be beyond tedious. One project at a time lol

The Walken Legacy - Generation 1

Some things never change -- just because yesterday was her birthday doesn’t mean there aren’t class projects to work on in the middle of the night while their parents are sleeping and Adam is busy on his tablet earning those toddler skills. At this point it’s a bonding ritual between Poppy and Rory.

Unfortunately there hasn’t been time to take the decorations down; there was a fire in the house thanks to one of the fireplaces, and everybody was so freaked out afterward that they slept most of the afternoon.
