Context for the unaware:

the beacon is an object that spawns in a random chest in skyrim. Putting in inside your inventory will prompt a quest you can't dismiss from your journal until it is complete and starts with the goddess' booming voice saying "A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON". Very effective jumpscare. Often people will grab it without meaning to because they don't notice it's part of the content of the chest and use the "take all" option.

It is really annoying to be forced into this quest out of the blue, especially since you have to carry the orb around because it is a quest object, so to get rid of it YOU HAVE TO DO THE QUEST.

In this video it spawned in one of the earlier dungeons you can visit, which is a bit of a wow, and the player can be heard ptsding into oblivion (an earlier game in the franchise).

Well he and I were talking about if there is an existence of a Christian Snail that attends snurch, worships SNESUS, and repents for their snins— that must mean that there is a possibility of other types of religions amongst the snails. My hubby and I are Pagans and we were joking back and forth about that. So said ya know elder scrolls has a kinda paganism like deities or devouts. So we just kinda made up stupid and sillier scenarios until we got to this point… *gestures*
