The idea of fallout in Iceland has been rattling around in my head for a while so here are some details that I've come up with.

-Winter. Snow everywhere forever.

-Protagonist is a vault tec researcher in a vault near Akureyri.

-You get sent out to travel to Reykjavík to deliver some files to a vault there.

-Before you can get there, you get news that Reykjavík is no longer safe, and that a conflict happened between surface dwellers and vault dwellers.

-You go anyway to see what caused the conflict. You find out that Katla(volcano) could wake up at any moment, which is very very bad because there is an abandoned nuclear thingamabob at the foot of the volcano, and contact with lava would cause nuclear catastrophe. Surface dwellers wanted to get into the vault, overseer refused.

-Not sure about how that would be resolved.

-Polar bear yao guai.

-Combat trained sheep.

-Those fucking birds that peck your head.

-Ginormous horses. Really fucking strong. Not friendly.

This will lead to absolutely nothing but I've just been daydreaming a ton and I want these thoughts written down.
