⁎ 𓍼 ๋ ◜ &.&. THE IVY INCIDENT ep 1. ◞ ...
The intro plays, and Ivy appears on the screen smiling and leaning into the mic to speak. “Hello guys, welcome to my new podcast, 'The Ivy Incident!!’ This has been in the works ever since I stepped into the dive podcast studio when I came here to film the kpop daebak show with Eric so it's soo exciting to finally show you guys this project!” she laughs as the other staff there are heard clapping.
Laughing, she continues "so in this podcast, I invite my friends from the industry and we just you know, talk and share stories! It's a lot similar to Eric's but mine is more personal if you will because all these people are very very close to me and I've known them for a pretty long time! This episode is just gonna be me cuz this is like an introduction for all the first-time listeners who don't know who I am!" “So I heard Diane has some questions prepared for me, so let's get into it!”
“let's start with the basics, yeah? Who is Ivy Jennifer James?” Diane asks her.
“Oh we’re going back to the beginning okay! So as you’ve already mentioned, my name is ivy jennifer james. I was born in New Castle, Australia where I lived till I was five and then I moved to the US where again I lived for five years before moving to Korea when I was eleven. And in korea, i signed with bighit entertainment and when i was asked if i was ready to debut when i was 14 i think? I was like imma do it. So i debuted at 14 under both jype and bighit and the rest is history! And i'm here today hehe”
“What motivated you to pursue a career as a solo artist?”
“Hmm i think ever since i got into bighit, i've always wanted to be a soloist? I'm not really sure why but I always saw myself as a soloist for some reason. Even till now, if you ask my dad he’d say that i was born to do this” ivy laughs and continues “i think ever since i was little ive wanted to something in the field of music and performance”
“Was being a kpop idol your first choice?”
“It was actually! I mean keeping in mind that i started this since i was a literal child, it actually was my first choice. The kids at school did tease me for this but look at me now” ivy chuckles
“Who are your music inspirations?”
“That's a great question and I was literally talking to Jun about this this morning! I dont have one specific inspiration but i think i draw inspiration from any and all artists! I've been pretty inspired by the Beatles and Rolling Stone pretty recently and obviously, Taylor Swift is one of my biggest inspirations out there.”
“Are you a sweet or savory type of person?”
“It honestly depends on my mood if i'm being honest” she laughs hard “now, im craving something savory! I'd kill for some fries right now oh man you’ve perked up my cravings now diane!!”
“What's the last song you listened to?”
Ivy laughs hard and almost tears up laughing “this is actually so funny oh my god the last song i listened to is actually a helium ingested cover of let me love you by justin bieber which yeonjun sung for me yesterday after a party we went to and let me tell you, it was soo funny!!”
“According to you, tell me 3 flaws and 3 qualities about yourself”
“Ooh, three qualities of mine would be, one, I think I'm kind I guess? Second, I'm somewhat responsible, and third and finally, I think I'm a human sized golden retriever because I'm very bubbly and very smiley smiley most of the time! And three flaws of mine are, one, i’m a big overthinker, i just rethink about every single choice or word of mine a little too much. Second, my moods are based on the weather…”
Ivy laughs at the look on Diane's face “yea.. My mood everyday kinda depends on how good the weather is.. That's why I'm not as fond of the rain because it makes me kind of depressed and I just shut myself off most of the time. Third, im a bit of a perfectionist so i expect any and all things to be a little too perfect.. If its not what i expect it to be, i just leave that and will not ever touch on it again and i know i should change these things and i am trying so.. yeah “
“okay, something similar but three things you like and three things you dislike”
“I don't like these types of questions!!” she laughs “it makes me think too much to give an answer!! But anyways… hmm three things i like are, one, my husband” she giggles as a small blush is seen on her cheek “well it's true!! I wouldn't have married him if I didn't like him would I?” she giggles “second, i really love what i do so, my career and third, my loved ones! I love my friends and family because they've stuck with me through thick and thin and I'm really grateful for that!” she smiles and gives the camera a little hand heart
“three things i hate are.. Hmm lets see… one, people who do not value privacy. I've said this multiple times and i'll say this again but I do love my fans.. I love them a lot and I wouldn't be here without them. But there are some people who claim that they are fans but do unhinged stuff to get close to me. And like that's why I've sued some people for not valuing my privacy. I got hate for it but honestly I don't care when the privacy and the lives of the people i love are at stake."
"Second, coming back to a slightly normal side, I absolutely hate the smell of fish. I don't know if it's cuz im vegetarian but I always throw up whenever I smell it and third, coming back to a more serious side, I hate the fact that most people on the internet feel like it's their right to comment on us as celebrities or idols or as performers. It's so irritating that they don't even feel sorry for what they say. They don't know how much we over think it and it slowly becomes an insecurity that takes years to wear off.”
“Okay this is your second to last question and the question is, For listeners who may not have heard your music before, can you recommend a few songs that best represent your sound and artistic vision?”
“That is a really good question, oh my god! So I think my discography is quite diverse and I have a lot of songs for different kinds of people who like different things. So the top three songs that i’d recommend to people are, one, vengeance as its called. There's no explanation for that song but I loved making it and loved singing it so that's the first song and second, I have a song called lovers in the night that i co wrote with seori which I absolutely loved and we had a great time writing the song. And third I think is, my whole album called “for us.” which i wrote with yeonjun and its songs dedicated for each other and hence called for us!”
“Okay… last question, can you give us any hints of the upcoming guests you have here?” Diane asks, smiling knowingly. Ivy giggles and wiggles her fingers across the camera
“Well I guess I can.. But most of my friends have not given me exact dates of their free schedule so even i’m not really sure on whos coming” she laughs at herself “so that's all i can tell you now because that's just all i know so” she just shrugs as she smiles.
“That's it for this episode and I hope you guys enjoyed this. I'm so excited for all the things we have in store for you guys and I hope you look forward to it!! So this has been ivy so far and thank you for listening to the ivy incident! Have a good day or good night bye!!”

Everything you never thought to ask and never wanted to know about my Josépan playlist/history with and opinions of the ship.
Intro:
The journey of this playlist has been a long one, starting on Amazon Music and my old, janky and now defunct Ipad.
STRAP IN, CHILDREN AS I TAKE YOU BACK TO A MAGICAL TIME WHEN NEITHER LEGENDS OF THE THREE CABALLEROS; NOR THEIR CAMEO IN DUCKTALES HAD BEEN ANNOUNCED YET, MY BLOG ON TUMBLR DIDN’T EXIST (THOUGH I WAS LURKING) AND PANCHITO WAS STILL THE LEAST POPULAR CABALLERO, otherwise known as around late 2017.
A word on the origins of the playlist:
The playlist was not initially Ducktales focused because the two didn’t exist in Ducktales yet. I was rather unenthusiastic back in the day about this ship (oh how the times change) but I had stumbled across a song that didn’t fit them and Donald but fit just them very well and wanted to make an animatic of it. So, I cobbled together some songs I thought fit the vibe and made a playlist.
The history behind the story that inspired it:
I’ll spare you from starting at the very beginning. But, when “The Town Where Everyone was Nice” premiered I was already thoroughly and utterly obsessed with the cabs; I remember how beyond ecstatic I was for the episode. My hype for the Ducktales versions of José and Panchito continued far beyond what seems to have been normal for the average cabs fan. I found myself drawn to the ideas put forth by those versions of them. I don’t really remember what the tipping point was for me to break down and make my own college AU but eventually I did. It was affectionately dubbed “The TV Show That Will Never Happen AU.” José and Panchito were enemies to lovers or at least to friends. And it was around that time I began to go CRAZY with the headcanons as I got more active in the fandom. While my ideas for the Ducktales versions of them grew and grew, so too did the time between them appearing in “The Town Where Everyone was Nice” and their alleged next appearance in the show. When fans noticed the distinct lack of José and Panchito in the season two finale of Ducktales, Francisco Angones, @//suspenderofdisbelief on Tumblr answered these two separate asks that I might have engraved on tombstone one day:
I was GONE for the ship after that. I developed another AU for them based around their time in Baia trying to get people to fund their attempts to become famous musicians. Also, slowly falling in love... It was affectionately titled “The Fan-Comic that Will Never Happen” but not yet connected to my college AU. I don’t have much of a timeline for it after this point, but with that AU I really hit my stride for interpretations of the two characters and their dynamic. The version of them I hold dear in my heart and headcanons came to be. Then “Louie’s Eleven” came out and absolutely destroyed a lot of my headcanons (just kidding, just kidding). Since the new canon material didn’t really jive with a lot of the wholesomeness I had built up I was left with a lot of something else: angst. I LOVE angst, but the two’s bitterness and arguing...It was hard to accept at the time. Me and @cartoon-lizard on Tumblr, my IRL best friend, wound up writing a Josépan fic fueled on a bit of that angst and by her grace, a lot of my headcanons. I titled it “My Reverie is Being Haunted by That Ass.” In it Panchito makes an ass (rimshot noises) of himself by running off with a producer he met by chance during a visit in Duckburg to try to become famous. And doing so without so much as a second thought to the person he’s been living with/sort of dating for over a year. It took me a while but eventually I figured it out. These weren’t three separate AUs, these were three separate pieces of the same AU. And so my masterpiece never meant to be made came to be: “The Trilogy: College/Baia/Reverie.”
“The Trilogy” Itself:
The story will never be written for a variety of reasons, personal and practical. But if it ever were to be written it would be three separate fics, aka: College, Baia and Reverie.
College encapsulates their college years (duh).
To set the stage:
Panchito: A friendly, arrogant and easily excitable musician with big dreams, good grades and a whole lot of anxiety and insecurity. He has complicated feelings towards his identity as both trans and pan and how that might affect his dreams of becoming famous, but is overall bright eyed and innocent enough.
José: A lazy (depressed), charming, pessimistic, tbh kind of a douche and deep in the closet gay man. He tends to push forward a very “Manly man” persona to make up for his own deep seated internalized homophobia brought on by a shitty upbringing. He just got away from said shitty upbringing and doesn’t really have any hopes for his future...Maybe to travel a bit?
José and Panchito start as enemies, both fearing losing their one real friend, Donald, to the other. Despite this the three start a band and the two’s rivalry becomes far more friendly. They get particularly close during the trip down to Acapulco for spring break where the general feeling of being disconnected from life and reality leads to several rather romantic moments between the two...They almost become a thing several times but never quite do. However, they are very good friends by the end of college. The three stay in contact for a while after college but eventually lose touch…
Baia timeskips forward 13 years later (I know it's only 10 canonically, I always say 13 for reasons) to a conversation between Panchito and José on the Sunchaser at the end of “The Town Where Everyone Was Nice.”
Panchito: Life hasn’t been kind to Panchito...His need to be famous, to be something in order to be someone has led him to push a lot of people out of his life so he can better focus on “Work.” Or drive them out by constantly asking for their support, financial or otherwise. He has no friends and even his relationships with his loving and supportive family are strained. Currently, he’s working freelance as a performer at childrens’ birthday parties (in his eyes: a clown) and goes home to a sad, empty apartment every night to stare at a notebook full of half written songs and muster enough energy to eat cereal for dinner for the third time in a row. Needless to say, his optimism is wearing thin.
José: A lot of hard work on his part, some good therapy and mmm; drugs have put him in a pretty good place. He’s more or less got his life together now, is way less of a douche and is more of a realist than a pessimist. He’s also pretty much completely comfortable in his identity as a gay man. He’s been trying to explore romantic relationships, but unfortunately (likely due to the loveless marriage between his parents making him strive so hard to believe that love is real that he puts the unrealistic goal of true love above all else) feels incomplete without one and double unfortunately has a tendency to be drawn to toxicity and abusive situations. So other than a string of (short lived) bad relationships, he’s actually doing great!
Panchito has already asked Donald to drop everything and stay with him down in Baia to try to get funding for the band. Donald said no. José has a steady job, a decent apartment and a supportive friend group back home. He's also long since lost interest and hope in their college dreams of being famous...José says yes. The two have a bunch of wild and wacky shenanigans trying to get funding and both dance around their growing feelings for each other until it explodes and overwhelms them. They rush into a romantic relationship head first with no real ground for it to be built on and unrealistic expectations of what the other can give them. Despite all this, things seem quite happy...for a while…
If you've made it this far, <3, CONT. in pt 2.
#the word of grim#please god don't actually try to read the whole thing#Josépan#panjosé#José x Panchito#panchito x josé#shades of red and green#pt. 1#this is really meant for my peeps on the cabs discord but if you see this and are inclined to read it#please do I will cry#but like...skim it...

Tessa Virtue’s leap from Figure Skating Olympic Champion to Executive MBA | Kneading Dough Canada
https://youtu.be/JAAkEDRFJ1A
Host: Vinay Virmani
T: If you’re going to build something, you need options in your life. I’ll say this especially as females, it’s important to be independent. To feel like you can be self-reliant and to take care of yourself.
[Intro presented by Tangerine]
V: Tessa, welcome to Kneading Dough Canada.
T: Thank you so much for having me.
V: It’s a pleasure. Kneading Dough Canada is a financial empowerment platform as you know, where we talk money, we talk mindset, we talk about financial lessons that you’ve learned along the way to hopefully inspire the next generation.
T: Well I’m so grateful to be on, I really appreciate it. I think it’s always refreshing to hopefully lend that female lens but also maybe that perspective from the amateur sport world too.
V: Yeah, you know Tessa you’ve accomplished so much, both in your personal and in your professional life. As an athlete you have achieved so many incredible honours, you’ve represented us, this country of Canada at the highest of international levels, but what I’m really excited about is you’re about to add another accomplishment in the form of three very special letters, MBA behind your name. Talk to me about that decision.
T: It’s been you know lingering in my mind for a long time. Education was always a priority in my household growing up in my family, and I thought about law school for quite some time and then I retired at 28 or 29 and thought maybe that’s too long (giggle) and realized also I wanted to flex a bit of a creative muscle. So this MBA program has been a dream of mine for quite some time. I want to be a student again in every sense of the word and I’m eager to learn the ins and outs of the business realm and that corporate sphere that I’ve had a unique perspective of, you know for 10 15 years, but if I’m going to take on a new role whatever that may be then I really want to feel like I’ve adopted that rookie mindset once again, and earned my stripes, I’ve gotten the credibility to to deserve a place there.
V: I want to take it to the world of figure skating though, because the world of figure skating is so glamorous as a sport. You know
T: I wasn’t sure where that sentence was going to land. It could have gone so many directions.
V: I I’m so like fascinated by the world of figure skating because the glamour, the imagination, the costumes, the drama, the whole production value. It looks so beautiful and elegant, but behind it there’s also rigorous routine, training and it’s not cheap.
T: Uh huh
V: So growing up, dd you have those conversations with your family and did you understand the investment that it was taking to sort of put you through the highest levels of figure skating.
T: The 2 things that my parents were always wiling to invest in or prioritize were education and sport. And it was important to them that we were exposed to as much as we could be. I’m the youngest of four. You know I’m of two minds because on one hand I do believe they tried to shield me from the burden of that sacrifice, that they made for all kids and for you know all of these adventures. But I was also keenly aware of it. I knew the the toll and I knew the cost and um you know I felt that responsibility…
V: Was there anything that you remember early on where there was an incident or a moment where you were like, I recognize like you talked about the toll.
T: My parents were so conscious to ensure that I wasn’t carrying that weight, and yet I moved away from home when I was 13 and I was kind of budgeting at that age for groceries and 7-eleven runs (laughs), whatever it is that a 13 year old needs. Taking taxis everywhere and I made a decision when I was 15 um to be able to do it on my own. My mom was always quick to say you know you have to look after yourself and you always have to make your own way and she was all about sort of creating that sense of security and freedom, so that I had options.
To be honest I had a tumultuous relationship with my father when I was a teen and I think it was just a decision, at that point. I didn’t feel right.
V: Yeah
T: I didn’t feel right accepting that kind of support anymore um and maybe it was a bit of pride you know, not wanting to
V: You don’t want to be dependent on anybody.
T: Totally. Yeah, and that’s not to say that I’m not aware of the privilege that I had growing up to have those opportunities. It was just a real marker of OK, if this is the path I’m choosing, um and I really need to make sure that I can I can do it on my own or in a way that really isn’t such a burden.
V: You know talking to you today has reinforced independence. You know being independent, not being dependent and and just being self-sufficient. And how gratifying that is, you know I think a lot of people, especially as you said, I hope a lot of young women watch this show and and really listen to your advice. And the fact that you took that decision at such an early age.
T: You know it’s interesting I found old journals not too long ago, and there was a page in one and I don’t know, judging by my handwriting I might have been 12? 11 or 12? And I had written my goals and that were, you know the to win the Olympics, be on Oprah, which I’ll settle for uninterrupted and Kneading Dough, uh buy a cottage, like buy a family cottage
V: Right
T: And at 12 that was on my mind and the feeling of walking into this cottage that my mom and I were able to dream of and then buy together, is so visceral and it’s it’s so much about, like I think back to being young and maybe not having, especially for her like that sense of security and and just really feeling like that can be a safe place now. Um so again it’s more of the representation of that.
V: I’ve heard you say something that has really resonated with me always because it’s something that I believe in. That the highs are so much better when you’ve experienced the lows. And obviously Scott Moir and yourself accomplished so many great things together. Something that I always try to tell the younger generation is, sometimes you have to just sit back celebrate your failures.
T: Well we learned to embrace it by making it part of our process, in that, not only did we anticipate failure and expect it and embrace it, well, we practiced it. So we learned to fall on demand, get back up, refocus, and
V: OK
T: be back into our program still trying to amalgamate as many points as possible.
V: You know I remember once um I must have been in grade school and I and I failed a few subjects. I was never a good student.
T: OK
V: And you know we didn’t have a lot of money at the time and I remember my my dad, I was really afraid to tell him that you know I’ve failed these courses and blah blah blah, but he said to the family, he said, alright everybody get ready we’re going for dinner. And we went to this restaurant that was only saved for like birthdays or anniversaries. And so we get there and he’s ordering all these great things on the menu and I’m like “dad, I don’t think you heard me like I failed, like I failed and here you are taking it t the restaurant.” And I remember he looked at me and he said “You know I want you to celebrate this failure. I want you to take it in because if you’re winning all the time, you’re not going to learn anything.”
T: Wow, and obviously that stayed with you
V: Oh yeah, you’re always going to learn so much more from the losses.
This next set of questions is called the two cents round, so you can’t overthink these things.
Tessa, we all know about your discipline but what do you splurge on?
T: Clothes
V: Clothes, OK, all right. What part of your budget are you working on lowering?
T: Clothes (big laugh). Actually not really because I will say, it’s more what it represents like part of that is like my I love it and it’s become also intertwined with my career and my brand if you will. Um
V: Its an investment in yourself.
T: I think so, that’s how I twist it
V: So, what is us the best financial decision you’ve made so far?
T: Hire the right people
V: Building the right team around you.
T: Yeah absolutely.
V: Describe your financial persona in just one word.
T: I want to say careful?
V: Careful.
T: Careful in that I’m strategic
V: I like that, OK
T: But I’m willing to have some fun.
V: OK, all right. Tessa if you could run any business, what would it be?
T: My own.
V: Your own. OK. All right I’m not going to push you more. [Tessa laughs]. They say patience is a virtue, how long did your first paycheck last?
T: I mean I spent my whole career basically operating at a deficit, so everything went back into training. I worked towards certain things and the you know I was really fortunate to get some funding and bursary grants, and then eventually sponsors and um was able to build this little nest egg, but mostly it went right back into training.
V: Tessa, this year we’ve been having such important and meaningful conversations about women in sport. And you know of course there’s such a long way to go for those conversations really to achieve equality, but as somebody who’s such a big advocate for women’s empowerment in sport, how do you feel that you want to lend your voice to those conversations?
T: I think, currently the biggest impact I feel I can have is really connecting with those young female athletes at that precipice of maybe dropping out um for all the heart breaking reasons that we’re learning about through research. Whether that is you know body image, or lack of self-confidence, lack of self-worth, it’s just not good enough. Like the access to resources, there are opportunities, um I think those conversations are really important and that’s where I’ve been feeling most fulfilled, when I’m able to connect with those athletes and you know I’ve been able to benefit from all of the lessons and the opportunities that sport has lended it uh to my life. And I just so want that for other female athletes. And you know we’re seeing that there are more mentors, more representation, more access to viewing these formidable female athletes, and I hope that resonates.
V: Tessa, we’ve uh had the opportunity to work on a few branded campaigns together. There’s this Tessa grace, and there’s this element of everything being held to a certain standard. In everything that you do, especially things that are public facing. Talk to me a bit about that.
T: I hate the word brand but I’m going to say it, my brand has been
V: I mean you definitely have a very strong brand
T: Well it’s been built on the very foundation of me and my personality and if those values aren’t upheld in every sense of you know the word, then I’m I’m not useful to anyone. Then I’m then no brand would want to hire me, um because it if it gets diluted, then I then I just think um it’s losing the very essence of what resonates with people. And I’m really careful about that like I only partner and pair with brands that I would authentically stand behind and feel really good about promoting.
V: I love that
T: And I’m conscious of where I lend my voice and my likeness, a very clear mission statement, and you know I love to be hands on but that’s where like the creative fulfilment comes in
V: Right
T: And honestly that’s where the most successful engagement also comes. If I’m involved and it’s a collaborative process, um it’s much more successful for the brand too.
V: You know, over this past year, there’s been such a strong connection to mental health and financial wellness. Many Canadians have a very high debt to income ratio, which can be very stressful. For you, how do you protect not only your mental health, but when it comes to financial wellness. How do you really protect your sanity?
T: As an amateur athlete I grappled with that um day after day. I think it’s important to find purpose in saving and planning. So, you know my mom started those conversations with me when I was young but that was all to sort of plant the seed of like you need to plan for this. And if you’re going to build something you need options in your life. For me you know it’s helped having a corporation for example, because a lot of my money is tied up there and it it’s great um but, it’s also made me very careful and strategic in how I spend it.
V: What is your one big piece of financial advice to all young women out there?
T: Surround yourself with the right people and set yourself up for independence.
V: I love that. Financial freedom.
T: Financial freedom.

3, 4, 5, and 9 from the fic ask game!
3: Do you have any upcoming WIPs? How far along are you with them?
So, thankfully most of my shorter drafts got published during the DocRose marathon. The longer ones.... yikes... I'll list a few, but there are a lot just sitting there in planning.
"the rose-pond swap" (the TARDIS accidentally misplaces Rose and Amy) has 7 chapters on my AO3 but I don't have the next chapter yet... whoops.
"the weight of words" - I have like. 50 chapters planned and 8 written in docs, but I don't actually think I'll ever publish this one. It's just a generic Series 3-4 Rewrite in which the Doctor actually managed to finish his sentence, and it "changes" him. Meanwhile, Rose is dimension-hopping and meeting other incarnations, who all help her as she shifts into her new Bad Wolf pseudo-Gallifreyan physiology.
untitled - Tentoo and Rose travelled a lot on their own and made a lot of alien superspy tech since they can't regenerate, but Tentoo has since died. Rose travelled on her own and picked up Jenny on the day Ten left (completely coincidental) but is called back to Earth by Jack when Jenny gets arrested for something. Unfortunately, he accidentally calls both TARDISes, and Eleven and all three Ponds show up too. I wrote 7 chapters of this, but they're not linear and I don't really think I'm happy with them, so I'm likely to scrap it.
"Something Wild" - Time Lady Rose slowburn where she and the Doctor are Academy friends but have a falling out when he goes through with his arranged marriage. It's funny though, they seem to be getting called back to each other throughout the years at the worst parts of their lives, and then a big Thing happens when the Time War ends but I'd rather not say. It literally spans from Theta Sigma to Day of the Doctor. Loosely inspired by the song by Lindsey Stirling feat. Andrew McMahon. Still in the planning stages and I have the biggest plot parts down, but even as I write it I might not publish it because of my lack of canon knowledge.
I've also planned like... 3? more series rewrites (all separate ideas) and 3 ideas for gift fics for my beta if I can get myself to write again. I'm just.... very tired.
4: Tell me about one of your abandoned WIPs. Why did you abandon it?
I abandoned a LOT of fics during the marathon--some of those are more about needing more time to either think, research, or just trudge past writer's block. I'll tell you about the funny and infamous "Check Yes, Juliet" fic that I stopped--it was supposed to be a multiverse fic that follows 3 TenRose pairings (canon + 2 AU) but as you might expect, that does not flow very well. It plays sorta like a music video in my head and I can see what I want to happen, which is frustrating, but I can't get it into words.
5: Share a snippet that you’re proud of from an upcoming fic/chapter.
I literally do not have anything that's guaranteed to be upcoming since I'm taking a breather, so... uh... instead, enjoy the intro to "the weight of words" that will live unfinished in my Drive forever:
“I...I love you.”
The instinctive teasing quip flirty arrogant defense mechanism dies somewhere on its way from his brain to his lips, and all he can see is her. The woman who saved him, who took his hand palm to palm, fingers locked tight, a perfect fit when he’d thought he had no one left in all of time and space. Who smiled at him tongue in teeth, brilliant, radiant, golden and happy when he thought he’d only ever see darkness even when he was awake. Who gave him a home her hand in his, the music of laughter, nights curled on the sofa when he thought he’d doomed himself to being homesick for all eternity. The woman he….
“If… if it’s my last chance to say it. Rose Tyler, I love you.”
9: Are there any fics you’d love to see but don’t want to write yourself? What are they?
MultiDoctor content!! I have to do SO much research for that stuff and some authors are so familiar with canon they can just churn it out, and I love that. Also, parallel universe content or alternate universe (especially royalty, childhood best friends or college/university fics)--you do not understand how much I suck at AUs, even if I adore reading some of them.
#asked and answered#thanks for the ask !#sorry this is so long i have... so many drafts#rivendell101

Criminal Minds Warning Compilation
This is a compilation of all submitted warnings in Criminal Minds in one place. I got frustrated having to constantly scroll through the tag so I figured I would compile them. Thank you to all the people who submitted! You guys help all of us so much :)
I am unsure if it’s complete past the end of Season Four as that’s where I’m at in the show. If I find any more I will send a warning in and hopefully eventually I’ll be able to say this list is complete. I usually just skip an episode if there’s a submitted warning as there’s little to no plot line through the show, so sorry if some of the warnings are vague.
This list is not completely spoiler free and not all of these are actual v* scenes. This show is surprisingly safe for emetophobes!
Unsafe episodes in Season One: 9 and 22.
Unsafe episodes in Season Two: 13.
Unsafe episodes in Season Four: 13, 15, and 24.
Unsafe episodes in Season Five: 7.
Unsafe episodes in Season Six: 7, 17, and 23.
Unsafe episodes in Season Seven: 1, 2, 6, 8, 12, and 22.
Unsafe episodes in Season Eight: 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 18, and 23.
Unsafe episodes in Season Nine: 1 and 12.
Unsafe episodes in Season Ten: 3.
Unsafe episodes in Season Eleven: 21.
Unsafe episodes in Season Thirteen: 1.
Season One: E9 (Derailed): 10 or 11 minute mark. Pregnant woman gets s*. Elle is talking to her and she says, “I think I’m gonna be s*.” No visual, just audio. E22 (The Fisher King Part One): 16 minute mark. Woman sees a body part and v*. No visual, just audio.
Season Two: E13 (No Way Out): 6:50-7:10. Gideon and Morgan are talking to a serial killer in a diner and it cuts to a police officer v*. After, the v* is still visible. It cuts back and forth from diner scene to police officers a few times but only one has a v* scene. Visual and audio.
Season Four: E13 (Bloodline): 12-12:45. Girl has epileptic seizure. Not v* but still triggering visual and audio. E15 (Zoe’s Reprise): 31 min mark. A girl Prentiss is interviewing says she’s going to be s*. Audio, unsure if visuals. E24 (Amplification): No v*, but lots of coughing, especially in first few minutes.
Season Five: E7 (The Performer): Warning is vague. “Not safe at all. Just skip it.”
Season Six: E7 (Middle Man): Multiple warnings. 1. Very brief v* after *SPOILER* Chris is made to kill Scott. Maybe mute from Scott’s death until after Chris stands up from sink. No visual, just audio. 2. 27:40, a man v*. Might be same as previous warning. Mute and look away for about 15 seconds. No visual, just audio. E17 (Valhalla): Near end of episode, right after Prentiss says she needs some air. Some coughing and mention of the word v*. Later when she goes to her apartment to change her shoes you can see it. No visual, just audio. E23 (Big Sea): Multiple warnings. 1. 25 min. A man can be heard v*, it then shows it as someone yells at him to clean it up. 2. When the guy is being held captive in the boat, he looks up at the unsub and then down at the keys. He v*. Visual and audio. 3. 38 min. At end of episode, Agent Morgan is performing CPR on a girl. She v* water. Not too bad visual, but bad audio.
Season Seven: E1 (It Takes A Village): About halfway through the episode, there’s a flashback to a woman taking pills, and a man forces her to v*. Happens after Prentiss starts interrogating Doyle. Not that graphic but visual and audio. E2 (Proof): Around 21-22 min mark. When Tammy is shown at the dance, she says she’s not feeling good and clutches her stomach. There’s no v* but she acts like she will. Ends when Uncle Cy goes to hug her. Later in the episode, Tammy’s mom recounts the incident with Cy but nothing happens. E6 (Epilogue): 18:40 min. Chase starts trying to resuscitate the girl. The next scene shows a guy violently coughing and shows blood in his hand from coughing so much. He continues coughing. Could be triggering. E8 (Hope): A little past halfway through the ep when the woman finds her daughter. You can see it coming. Visual and audio. E12 (Unknown Subject): 3 min. Garcia is showing them pictures of a case. It’s hard to see but there’s v*. At 4:21, Prentiss asks, “what’s that on the floor?” And Garcia replies. Also, Garcia mentions there’s salt in the water which makes you v*. Skip until intro or look away. (4:59 is safe) E22 (Profiling 101): When Prentiss says something about the victim’s friend holding her hair, the victim bends over and v*. It lasts thirty seconds, so when Prentiss talks about the girl getting s* just mute and look away. Audio and visual.
Season Eight: E2 (The Pact): After Mr. Dolan is being interviewed, it cuts to Darlene v*. She talks and then g*. Mute and look away after Mr. Dolan is finished with JJ. Audio and visual. E5 (The Good Earth): V* is mentioned and not shown, but you see implied v* as people lean over. Also just a gross episode in general. E6 (The Apprenticeship): 9:40. When the kid asks Holly to cover his shift, he says he v* that morning to get out of work. E7 (The Fallen): At the end of the episode when the unsub is pouring bleach on the woman, she starts coughing. Sounds like v*. She also continues to g* after she’s rescued. It’s not too bad but could be triggering. E8 (The Wheels on the Bus…): After the girl shoots Trent and the guy says something about his blood, she v*. Lasts about 5-10 seconds. Audio, unsure if visuals. E18 (Restoration): Beuford gives Derek the list, and Derek v* after washing his hands. Mute after he finishes talking to Hotch. It’s over quickly. Visual and audio. E23 (Brother’s Hotchner): Multiple warnings. 1. In the beginning when the guy opens the stall and the girl is bleeding, she’ll fall to the floor and start coughing pretty bad. It ends in maybe 10 seconds. Audio and visual. 2. At around 8:40 min , a guy randomly spits blood. It happens/ends just as the beginning credits start. When the little girl starts to pray at the family dinner, both the parents begin to bleed like the other victims. the dad will cough before the screen goes black
Season Nine: E1 (The Inspiration Part One): Multiple warnings. 1. At around 6 min mark, girl v*. They also talk about it a few times. 2. At 21 min, a mother g* and s* out teeth. 3. After unsub kills girl in the shower, Blake asks about the v* when she’s at the coroner’s morgue. 4. When Rossi and Morgan find the girl in the park and mention her hair, Morgan says she probably v*. 5. When Hotch says “wheels up in 30” and the unsub is taking another woman into the woods, she v* when she says he’s going to fast. Lasts 5-10 seconds and only audio. (Possibly same as first warning) E12 (The Black Queen): At around 18:55 min. When Garcia and Morgan are testing microphone signal, Garcia says she feels like she’s gonna v*. Nothing happens though.
Season Ten: E3 (A Thousand Suns): When Reid and Kate go to look at the plane crash and start to look at the pilot’s seat, a few seconds later Reid will notice there is v* from the passengers on the ground. He just says the word and there is a visual but it doesn’t look very realistic. After the crowd of people at the station are asking questions about their loved ones on the plane Morgan and JJ will mention the v* again and talk about what caused it
Season Eleven: E21 (Devil’s Backbone): When the two boys are in the back of the van, one boy v*. No visual, just audio.
Season Thirteen: E1 (Wheels Up): Garcia and Simmons are in the car and Garcia says, “No creepy weird stuff.” There’s a lot of people looking s* and leaning over bowls. No visual that was noticed.
Happy watching!

B I O G R A P H Y
╰ ‘ theodora kennedy was born on september 1, 1999 in a small town on long island, new york to a young couple. daniel and christina kennedy already had a six year old son when they welcomed their daughter into the world and although she had not been planned, they were happy to have her. for the first five years of her life, theo had everything, but that all changed on christmas eve of 2004.
╰ ‘ what they thought was an attempted robbery gone wrong left the kennedy family broken. as theo and her older brother hid in the closet and watched from the crack between the door and the frame, christina was shot 4 times repeatedly and left dead. — it would take one whole year for authorities to find out that her own husband was responsible for it.
╰ ‘ no, daniel kennedy didn’t pull the trigger. and no, he didn’t break into his own house but his past life of crime brought upon the tragedy. before meeting and setting down with christina, daniel had been involved in a sketchy lifestyle — drugs, alcohol, parties and crime. he bought, he dealt, he stole and he owed a lot of money. when he didn’t meet his deadline he was warned what would happen, and they had been true to their word. if he couldn’t offer them the money they would take something else, something money couldn’t buy. his wife, and the mother to his two children.
╰ ‘ that christmas was a dark one. there were no celebrations and the kids didn’t open their presents. the new year just brought dread and slowly the kennedy’s began to spiral. daniel began to fall back into his olf lifestyle of partying and crime as a coping mechanism. he became involved with the wrong people once more, people he called ‘old friends’ and more times than not his son jack, who was only eleven at the time, was left to care for his sister, theo.
╰ ‘ the death of a mother would be hard for anyone, but witnessing it had really ruined theodora. she stopped socializing, stopped speaking. her father still swears that she didn’t speak a single word for 3 years, and that may have been true. night terrors and flash backs took over her once pleasant dreams.
╰ ‘ after falling back into his prior way of life, mr. kennedy found himself unemployed. it was really no surprise, he would miss shifts at the auto body shop and when he did show up he was under the influence of something and incapable of doing much of anything and with no steady income, they lost their house. however, with every storm comes a rainbow and although they lost nearly everything they did get to move in with daniel’s parents, theo’s grandparents who she absolutely adored.
╰ ‘ grandma and grandpa kennedy weren’t your everyday grandparents. they didn’t knit blankets and play bingo, no, they owned the town funeral home, situated on a graveyard and lived atop of it. grandpa was a funeral director and grandma a mortician. while daniel had grown up in the funeral home, he wasn’t much phased and his new habits left him home rarely. jack hated it. he avoided the parlor at all costs and refused to tell his friends where it was he was living but theo had never felt more comfortable, surrounded by death.
╰ ‘ at only six, she began tagging along with her grandparents while they worked. she learned how to embalm bodies and prepare them for their final rest. of course her interest in the dead and the fact that she lived in a funeral home was a subject of ridicule in school. even in kindergarten she was picked on for it. she instantaneously became the ‘weird girl’. as she got older the bullying got worse, but it made her tough. she didn’t need friends, she had her interests to keep her busy and she liked to believe the dead were her friends. she’d often spend time in the morgue or out in the cemetery, making up lives in her head for the deceased and searching for answers.
╰ ‘ her interest in the occult began very early. she loved anything mysterious and dark. her first report in elementary school was on ed and lorraine warren, her biggest inspirations even back then and ever since she has longed to be the next lorraine. her intuition to the dead is strong and her sensitivity is high. she was told early on by a psychic friend of her grandparents that she had a gift and although they told her that she would one day be able to use it to help the living, she knew right away she wanted to use it to help the dead — the souls not at rest.
╰ ‘ by sixteen theo’s relationship with her father was nonexistent. he was absent most of her life, in and out of jail and always under the influence of drugs. and when he was around, he was abusive. she spent her whole life fearing him and while her brother jack strived to be everything their father was not, to make him proud, theo found herself slowly becoming everything her father was. she was skipping school to smoke in the cemetery and drinking alcohol from her fathers stash alone in her room. she tried to drown out her demons by self medicating. she found herself at house parties and in strangers beds regularly. she was her own worst nightmare. she was becoming the person her peers had made her out to be, a monster. she was mean and bitter and mad at the world, and so very young.
╰ ‘ at seventeen her world turned upside down one more time. a small town murder made the news and left the locals panicked. was there a serial killer on the loose? were they in danger? would the killer ever get caught? a witness met with the police and a sketch was made of the suspect and shared with the world via the local news — and theo knew instantly who it was. she had spent the last week hearing about the brutal murder of a young seventeen year old girl. she had been drugged, sexually assaulted and eventually choked to death. it was ugly and it was inhuman — and it was her father. she was sure of it. with shaky hands and the approval of her grandparents, she called the police and reported her father. after 3 months and a very long trial, he was sentenced to life in prison and for the first time in years, she could finally breathe.
╰ ‘ at eighteen, theodora applied for an internship with the ghost adventures team in vegas and by some miracle she was accepted. it only took six months for them to welcome her to the team full time, making her the youngest member of the crew. she found a family in her ghost adventures crew, looking up to zak bagans like the father figure she never had. her new job and new found family really helped pull her away from the dark path she was going down.
╰ ‘ she soon after moved to vegas, the glitz and glam and partying was dangerous and tempting but her work crew did their best to steer her in the right direction, it was there — in vegas that theo met sonny deluca.
╰ ‘ sonny showed up at theo’s door one morning with his mission partner, asking to talk to her about the book of mormon. one day later he showed back up alone. four days later he was leaving his mission and moving in. it happened quick and they fell fast. theo didn’t think she was capable of loving anyone, especially not in the way that she loves sonny. it only took four days for him to knock down her walls and expose her soft interior.
╰ ‘ it did not take very long into their relationship to learn that they were expecting, not just one baby but twins. both scared and excited, they decided to keep the babies and make the impulsive decision to move. mapleview was their destination, the perfect place to raise a family. they got a house and prepared for the birth of their children.
╰ ‘ still together, sonny and theo now have a set of twins, almost two year old son, river and daughter regan. they are the light of theo’s life and everyday she strives to be better for their sake. without her family, she would be in a very bad place. she’s positive of it.

What I think about Inuyasha’s writing.
I used to be a huge Inuyasha fan because I watched it in my teen years (The Latin Spanish dub, not the English dub where I find their voices to be pretty annoying). I would stay awake until eleven o’ clock just to watch a new episode on Cartoon Network and sing along with the translated versions of the intros. My early submissions on Deviantart were fanarts of Inuyasha, I used to draw him like crazy, and the show is even one of my original comic’s main inspirations. So what happened?
I love Inuyasha’s character, but as I grew older, I started hating or not caring about the other characters of the show (Except for Sesshomaru, of course) and grew tired of the story because I felt it wasn’t going anywhere. Inuyasha has good writing, but the pacing and how sometimes you can’t really take it seriously ruins it for me.
I want to talk about this now since I just heard about the sequel that is gonna happen soon with Inuyasha’s Lina Inverse of a daughter and Sesshomaru’s very confused twin daughters, and I’m thinking to myself: “How is Rumiko gonna ruin this story even more”. Don’t get me wrong, the creator, Rumiko Takahashii, is a very talented manga artist and writer, and I respect her, at one point I even saw her as my heroine, but now I want to surpass her.
How can Inuyasha, a story about a half demon, who falls in love with the reincarnation of his ex-girlfriend who can travel through time whenever she feels like it, has a hot demon brother that tried to kill him several times, wields a powerful magical sword forged from the fang of his deceased yet very famous demon father who I want to know more about, a dead human mother who may or may not have been a princess... Where was I going with this? o_o
As an aspiring storyteller/ animator, I want to talk about the problems with Inuyasha’s story, the things I love about it, as well as the bad things in it, and see why Inuyasha isn’t the writing masterpiece everyone likes to believe it is. And by the end, talking about what I would do to improve the story.
This is how I analyze Inuyasha. I never read the manga, so I’m gonna focus on the anime.
1. Inuyasha is a romantic comedy?
Rumiko Takashii is a successful manga artist and considered “The queen of anime”, because her art Style and humor have inspired many of the anime cliches we know today such as the nose bleeds shots, the beach episodes with fan service, and good o’l scenes where the girl calls a boy a pervert before comically sending them flying. She is the creator of another famous work called Ranma 1/2, an anime I used to love as a kid, but now...
I studied how to draw and create mangas and I have learned how to make a good story. After returning to Ranma recently, I have figured out the problem with Inuyasha, Rumiko Takahashii’s style is repetitive. Rumiko is capable of writing a good plot and creating very good characters from time to time, but now many of her main characters feel very cliche. In her stories there is always gonna be a pervert, there is always gonna be a bad parent, a rivalry, crazy and or exaggerated situations, goofy looking characters, wise old men or women, beautiful female characters, Japanese or Chinese folklore, fighting, but most importantly, a girl with a love/hate relationship with a dumb, rowdy tsundere boy, where they argue so much that the girl ends up physically abusing the boy and the show passes it for something funny; and those are the ingredients for making a Rumiko Takahashii styled manga/anime.
Rumiko’s forte is in Romantic comedy, sometimes mixing different genres makes a story good and very realistic... If done right, which brings me to my next point.
2. Time travel just for fun.
What is Inuyasha about? It is about a half-demon teenage boy that has to partner with a teenage girl from the modern times, who accidentally travels through time via a magical well that has been in her family’s shinto shrine for generations, to find the shards of a powerful magical jewel that said girl accidentally shatters and scatters all over feudal Japan. This idea alone makes it a very interesting series, either for a book or a TV show.
What went wrong then? I believe the problem started around the third episode were it was shown that Kagome can easily go back to the present, have dinner with her family, take a bath, gather provisions, and even take her god damn bike with her to the past every time she wants without caring about creating a time paradox.
This is played for laughs because of the romantic comedy element, but if you do this in an show with action, deaths, and evil spirits wanting to take over the world, then that fact alone makes the entire story lose credibility, I mean, what is stopping Naraku or any other demon from finding a way to travel to the future through the well to take over a world where demons and magical powers are basically extinct? The fact that only Kagome AND Inuyasha are the only ones who can go through the well? How convenient!
If the time travel well was taken more seriously it could’ve lead to a much more interesting story, but apparently nobody cares about time travel and the effects it could have in the history of Japan. I think there were two instances that I recall from the anime (Before Inuyasha Second Act, because I already stopped caring about the show when it came out) where time travel was or could’ve been relevant; the episode about the man eating mask that had a Shikon shard for hundreds of years, and the second movie of Inuyasha where the whole group was immune to a time stopping spell because Kagome’s medical kit and necklace from the future created some kind of time barrier around them.
And nobody cared about any of those things afterwards! Not the fact that there could’ve been one extra shard, or that Naraku was present during the time barrier incident and never wondered about it. Both the episode and movie scene were just ways to have Inuyasha being the only one who can come to Kagome’s rescue because their love is the main focus. Speaking of love...
3. Frustrating love drama.
Part of Inuyasha’s tsundere personality comes from the fact that he had his heart broken by everyone’s favorite b***, Kikyo.
Kikyo was the young priestess who sealed Inuyasha in a tree for 50 years, at first it looked like the typical holy person trying to protect her village from a dangerous demon, but in reality, she was in a relationship with him and thought that Inuyasha tricked her so he could steal the Shikon jewel from her. This was because everyone’s favorite a**h*** , Naraku, shape-shifted into both of them to trick them into killing each other.
It’s easy to blame Naraku for this, but that actually shows how they didn’t really “love” each other because of how quickly they turned against the other.
I take this as a cautionary tale for first love. Inuyasha was just infatuated with Kikyo because of her beauty and kindness towards him, and when someone falls in love for the first time they don’t think straight, they don’t know what a real relationship entails, and not knowing that is exactly what happened to these two.
There was a special episode in the anime where we see how Inuyasha and Kikyo met and fell in love, in it we get a scene where Kikyo told Inuyasha that she was gonna give him a gift, which was gonna be the subduing necklace that Kagome tends to abuse a lot, however, Inuyasha decided to give her a gift as well, his mother’s lip balm she left him after dying. A very sweet gesture, right? How does Kikyo react to this?
That’s not a look of love, that’s a look of pity. RECIPROCATE, WOMAN! HE OPENED HIS HEART TO YOU AND YOU JUST FEEL SORRY FOR HIM?!
She does end up changing her mind about the subduing charm, but before this, she didn’t saw him as a person, and she was considered a saint by everyone in the village, but I guess that feeding the poor, nursing people, and playing with children is alright as long as they are humans, that’s almost racist. I hate Shippo, but I bet she wouldn’t be so caring about him or his dad if she saw them.
Kikyo absolutely sucks as a romantic partner! She doesn’t express anything, she doesn’t talk about her feelings, she doesn’t show any emotion apart from anger and slight contentment, and based on what we saw after Naraku set them up, I believe she never told him ANYTHING about herself. Unlike Kagome who he got to know very well as a person, Inuyasha didn’t even questioned her motives for attacking him, he automatically assumed that she manipulated him the whole time, and ran to the village to get the Shikon Jewel.
Rumiko wanted to make Kikyo more relatable so we could feel sorry for her and pass Naraku as an evil monster who destroyed what could’ve been a beautiful relationship, by having Kikyo wanting to live life as a normal girl, but can’t because she is the only one who can keep the Shikon jewel from being corrupted, and ultimately falling in love with Inuyasha because he saw her as a normal person (Unlike her with him). Well, it didn’t work, at least not for me.
I did feel sympathy for Kikyo... When she was alive! The series had a witch bring her back to life in a body made out of clay and using part of Kagome’s soul because she is the reincarnation of Kikyo. Why do this? To create drama by adding a love triangle into this romantic comedy of a show.
Feels like Rumiko doesn’t understand how reincarnation works because I think Kagome would’ve died during that ritual, and I really doubt Kikyo would’ve become such a B just out of jealousy; she wanted to take Inuyasha to hell with her, and he was not even dead yet! If this Kikyo really loved him, she would’ve let him go on with his life instead of roaming Japan feeling sorry for herself, taking advantage of a situation to keep Kagome away from Inuyasha, and barely doing anything to stop Naraku which was supposed to be her main goal. All of this made Kikyo unlikable instead of a relatable character trying to fix her past mistakes before going back to the grave.
4. Inuyasha’s background.
Something I absolutely love from Inuyasha’s story is the fact that it is set during a historical time period in Japan but with magical elements incorporated since many of the Japanese myths and folklore originated during those dark times. I love the fact that since everything was so dark back then, people would often see things that weren’t really there and made up stories to explain certain phenomena or just to keep children from misbehaving.
Inuyasha is full of Japanese folktales and magical creatures, and it clearly took inspiration from “Journey to the west”, a classic Chinese novel that’s one of the best adventure/ fantasy stories of all time, and that’s also been the main inspiration for many mangas and animes; it’s one of my favorites too.
Inuyasha’s background is one of the most interesting ones I’ve ever seen, it’s something common in fairy tales and myths where a human falls in love with a being from a magical race, like fairies, mermaids, gods, or in Asian folklore’s case, spirits or demons. In Inuyasha’s case, his mother was a human named Izayoi who fell in love with a powerful dog demon named Toga who was known as Inu no taisho (Dog general), animal spirits or demons can take human form, and the dog spirits are very common in Japanese folklore.
The third movie of Inuyasha shows us what Toga looked like before and how he died, and I’m actually more interested in how Inuyasha’s parents met more than his love triangle drama. In fact, Toga’s story sounds much more interesting because he was built up as this great demon lord who fought countless enemies, he was a gigantic dog monster that stopped a demon invasion from China, he could destroy multiple armies with one swing of a sword he forged from one of his fangs, he had disciples and loyal subjects, but he ultimately lost his status, he let his reputation be destroyed because he fell in love with a woman from a race that was considered inferior, and had a half demon child with her.
One of Inuyasha’s motivation’s (the main one being killing Naraku) is proving that he is stronger than his father who was a full demon, while Inuyasha himself is considered a weak half human who is unworthy of the tittle of being a descendant of Inu no taisho. Every time Inuyasha hears about a demon that his father couldn’t defeat in the past, he gets excited because, with the powerful sword his dad left him, he now has a chance to prove to everyone that he is not weak and that he is stronger than his father was.
Inuyasha never met his father because Toga died the very day he was born, so he was raised by his mother who died when he was still a child. His older brother, Sesshomaru, is a full demon that never really forgave his father for throwing his reputation away because of a human woman, and leaving him a magical sword that can also resurrect the dead instead of the one that can destroy numerous souls in one blow.
I’m not really sure, but I think the Sesshomaru from the beginning of the third movie looked like he was around Inuyasha’s age when Toga died.
Before:
After:
I like to think that’s the case.
Inuyasha’s background alone can hold up the entire series, as well as his tense relationship with his only living relative, however, the main focus is something else, something that I personally find very repetitive, boring, and even lame.
5. Is Naraku really worth it?
Note that I am not defending Naraku, he is unlikable, mainly because of all the bad things he’s done to the main characters, but the truth is that I don’t really hate him as much as I should, granted, he is a manipulative b*st**d and I don’t like him, but he is just evil for the sake of being evil in the story. If anything, I see him as pathetic.
Let’s see his main crimes: He cursed Miroku’s family, for some reason, killed Sango’s entire family by using her inexperience demon slayer little brother as a puppet, he basically conned Sesshomaru in hopes of killing Inuyasha, but most importantly, he is the reason Inuyasha and Kikyo broke up! :0
To me, Naraku is just a coward that likes to manipulate others for his own personal gain, he was born from a bandit named Onigumo who was burned in a fire after betraying the leader of his group of thieves so he could take his place, and allowed his bodied to be consumed by demons in order to get... Kikyo! The gross part is that Kikyo was like 15 at the time while he could easily be in his 20′s or 30′s. Kikyo, being a “saint”, found Onigumo’s burned body and nursed him in a cave, this ultimately made the bandit fall in love with her and allowed his body to be devoured by evil spirits in exchange for power, he was then reborn as Naraku who is basically a half demon like Inuyasha.
I heard that the manga didn’t really mentioned Naraku’s past life, but I think that’s for the best. Naraku became Inuyasha’s group’s ( and other characters’s) main target, but every single time they find him and think they got him cornered, he manages to escape in some way because of how much of a coward he really is. Because this happens over and over and over and over again in every season, it get’s tiresome and frustrating, to the point where I even ask myself: “Is this MF even worth it?!” Anyone would’ve just given up a long time ago. I liked it when they focused on fighting other demons and enemies with different motives, but after a while it was just Naraku, Naraku, Naraku!
At some point I even forgot what started this adventure in the first place, the Shikon Jewel shards that were accidentally shattered and scattered through out Japan! One shard alone can power up a demon, this idea alone makes it an interesting story, collect the shards before Japan is destroyed by overpowered demons and evil spirits, but no, turns out Naraku is collecting the shards too to the point that he already has a nearly complete jewel, well, that saves a lot of time!
I know, killing Naraku will get rid of Miroku’s wind tunnel curse, free Sango’s undead brother from his control, and Sesshomaru and other demons wanting revenge because he tried to use them, but what’s really Inuyasha’s beef with Naraku? Is he just mad because Naraku showed him just how totally incompatible he was with Kikyo? That’s what pisses me the most, to be honest.
As for Kagome, she definitely has no reason to be there, Naraku is the main antagonist and yet, he is kinda indifferent to Kagome. I don’t remember seeing Naraku doing anything bad to her or her family living in modern times that can be accessed through a magical well where he could easily... You know what? I’m done here.
Conclusion.
Inuyasha’s story has so much potential and yet it doesn’t take itself too serious. As I mentioned before, Inuyasha is treated more as a romantic comedy than a fantastical adventure kind of story. there is so much dept to the world building, but when focusing only on Inuyasha and Kagome falling in love, nothing else seem to matter. This could’ve worked if it had better writing. A simple or silly premise for a story can work if it has clever writing, something that Inuyasha really needed at times.
I liked to be surprised with clever writing in movies and shows, but if it was up to me, I’d definitely change a few things.
1. If you want a serious story, make Kagome be stuck in feudal Japan until the shards of the Shikon Jewel are recovered, or if this has to stay, don’t make the the stakes in the adventure so dire, either its a fantastical journey with two teenagers falling in love as the main focus, or a very serious adventure where their love is the only thing that can save the day.
2. Make Inuyasha and kikyo just friends, the love drama is unnecessary, specially since kikyo has almost no personality what so ever, unless you re-write her entire character. Or make Inuyasha fall in love with Kikyo, but Kikyo doesn’t feel the same and just sees him as a good friend, that at least would create some drama instead of the jealous ex-girlfriend that wants to kill everyone because she lost her chance in life.
3. Get rid of Naraku, the ultimate villain troupe gets tired very quickly, specially in a very long show that takes like 8 seasons to end. Or at least write him better and not turn the show into an endless chase for just one guy, specially since the main goal is to collect the shards of the Shikon jewel to destroy it once and for all.
This is just my opinion of course, and if you like the show just the way it is, then that’s alright, but seeing things you like with a critical eye, makes you appreciate them even more.

8 PEOPLE I'D LIKE TO KNOW BETTER Rules: fill this up and then tag 8 people you’d like to know better!
one / ( alias / name ): mel
two / ( date of birth ): december 11th, 1994
three / ( zodiac sign ): sagittarius
four / ( height ): 5 feet 4 inches
five / ( hobbies ): writing/rp, video games, music, horseback riding... used to be one?? but depression kinda made me too sick to ride so i haven't ridden in about,, 4 years and i don’t know when i’ll get to ride again
six / ( favorite color ): green
seven / ( favorite books ): gotta say lord of the rings & outlander are about the only books i’ve actually read like. since i graduated from high school
eight / ( last song listened to ): hey you - pink floyd
nine / ( last film or show watched ): breaking bad bc apparently i can't just stop at watching one long-suffering character played by aaron paul. i gotta see all of them
ten / ( story behind url ): in the simplest sense, because Caleb is trapped in the system that Serac/Rehoboam created to keep control over people like him, like a cage. but despite the system, he still manages to make his own real choices whenever he’s given the opportunity. so, cagedchoice. more specifically, i got the idea to use it from these two lines Dolores says to him: “They put you in a cage, Caleb. Decided what your life would be. They did the same thing to me.” and “Most people aren't hard to predict, but you…you surprised me. You made a choice. A choice no one else in your shoes would have made.” and i need to give an honorable mention also to Maeve’s “You’ve done terrible things, and you’ve done generous things. She didn’t pick you for your capacity for violence, but for your capacity to choose. So, make a choice.” because the power of all the choices Caleb makes is so important to who he is.
eleven / ( inspiration for muse ): so after following all of s3 so closely and wanting to know more about caleb, right around the time Decoherence first aired and we got a good look at where William’s path has taken him, i was starting to get real anxious about how much more we’d really be learning about Caleb bc i really wanted to add a Westworld character and he was my first pick since he's a newer character and there's not many other caleb rpers out there that i’ve seen. (i think i’ve only seen one or two not counting me??) or else somehow find a way to finagle a Westworld verse in on one of my multi’s muses, but...yeah! i was intrigued by his character a lot, but i felt like at that time i really did not know enough to write him well. luckily, then we got Passed Pawn and Crisis Theory and both of those gave us more about his past (and I legit CRIED watching Pawn the first time through bc i was just emotionally devastated learning about how he'd been used by the system) and how he became the kind of person he is and it was finally enough for me to go ‘oh i am VERY passionate about caleb nichols and i really want to explore this further and expand on his experiences but uh i hate writing straight fic and i don’t think my musical theater muts would be super interested in me rping this guy.’ so i saved a url for kicks thinking i probably wouldn’t use it, but then i decided ‘well why shouldn’t i be serious about this?’ and dadada cagedchoice caleb was born and i sort of just cropped up out of nowhere like some rp cryptid.
tagged by: i stole it from the dash for an excuse to sorta intro myself a bit tagging: nah just do it if you wanna do it and don’t worry abt it if you don’t
#dash games tbt.#❝ i’m an underachiever ❞ —— ooc#long post#i always go off about things i never actually intend to go off on hfdjsfhd

I don't know anything about your OCs, so how about 1 and 2 for each of them? seems like a good intro. ^v^
🤩 🤩 thanks for the ask!!! here are my BABIES
[these OCs are from an original urban fantasy book/series I’m procrastinating on, in which werewolves, vampires, witches, other were-creatures, demons, and deities exist. Any terms original to my book will be explained as they come up]
Birdie Tweedie:
1: List five basic facts about your OC.
-Brigh is her real name (Scottish, like her). The nickname Birdie was given to her by her mother because Birdie was always up super early in the morning as a child and would parade around the house singing (badly) and, after first hearing the nickname, stopped singing and instead mimicked bird noises onomatopoeia-style. Since she got the nickname, she’s HATED being called Brigh except by her closest friends (ie: Kaz & Keita)
-raging lesbian with a cuuuute soft-butch girlfriend
-she only dyes her hair pastel colours
-she’s 5′6 – short for her kind– her race [werewolf] are usually 6′ minimum with 6′3 as average but that doesn’t stop her from duking it out with others when they step out of line– she’s tackled 7′4 Keita off his feet lol
-Birdie knows her strengths and weaknesses and has unwavering confidence in herself because she knows them so well– she’s really good at realizing other people’s strengths & weaknesses at a glance, too
2: Post a line of dialogue from your OC
“I tend to befriend the strays– the ‘outsiders,’ the ‘freaks,’ the ‘unsociable’– they seem pretty normal and sociable to me. You sure you’re not the problem?”
–
Keita Seiji:
1: List five basic facts about your OC
-Keita is half Japanese on his father’s side, ¼ Cree & ¼ German from his mother’s side (Cree grandmother, German-American grandfather) but most of his familial ties are with his father’s side of the family. His mother wasn’t close with her mother due to her father being an asshole (there’s a LOT of issues there– plz ask about them!!)
-super gay
-every hair on Keita’s body is bone white, void of colour due to being a Wyldling [explained at bottom of post]. If he dyes it– any of it– it will leach entirely within an hour. [dying his eyebrows black in the picture was easier than dying them white okay!!!]
-Keita has body-image and self-confidence issues due to awful scarring on his body that he obtained in an ambush that almost killed him in his early 20′s
-all of his tattoos come from his parents– flower arm-sleeves are exact replicas of his father’s (yaaaay for his dad’s witch ink-manipulation powers), lacey neck tattoo inspired by his mother’s. Whenever he looks at his arms or sees his neck in the mirror, he’s reminded of them and how they loved him enough to give everything to keep him safe
Bonus fact: Keita did ballet for about eleven years, showcasing great skill at a highly respected ballet academy, and had his heart set on becoming a principal dancer. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, he was forced to quit at fifteen. He hasn’t had the opportunity to return to ballet school, and it’s unclear if he’ll ever get that chance.
2: Post a line of dialogue from your OC
“I’m not good at ‘by-standering,’ okay? I went through so much shit in my life and so many people just watched, just let it fucking happen that I- I became convinced I deserved it. If you think I’m just gonna stand aside and let that happen to anybody else- then you don’t know me.”
–
Kazemir Andra-Dar:
1: List five basic facts about your OC
-Kaz is a ‘pure’-blooded vampire in the sense that both his fathers were born vampires/are born-vampires to born-vampires in a centuries-long family tree that he doesn’t give a fuck about. Being a Born vampire means he can stand sunlight if he drinks enough blood beforehand. He’s technically the prince of his clan but prefers to stay out of the spotlight
-Kaz has extremely-powerful telepathic and shape-shifting abilities (which is unusual, to have more than one); one from his dad and one from his father. His go-to animal is an itty bitty black bat that rides in Keita’s shirt pocket. He uses them for good, but mostly to prank Birdie
- 💗💜💙 bi boi with a preference for masculine-presenting people (but there’s a certain white-haired guy he’s got his eye on 🤔)
-tends to wear his heart on his sleeve & very concerned with the happiness of his friends
- has the trust if not the respect of most people he comes in contact with, due to carrying his heart on his sleeve, his bottomless empathy, and following through with even the smallest, seemingly insignificant promises he makes
2: Post a line of dialogue from your OC
“So few people have waited to see what’s beyond my face or my sexuality that I stopped taking romantic and sexual relationships seriously for a long while, and even when I did, I still settled. But I’m done with that. I deserve better than that; I deserve someone who sees me without seeing just my face.”
–
Bonus Basic Fact:
At all times, the three of them have a combined total of 4 brain cells!
3 of them belong to Birdie, but she`s usually in possession of all 4
————————————————————————–
Definitions/Lore
Born vampires/Born-Vampires: Vampires are either Born or Turned. If someone is called a Born-Vampire, it means they were born, like any other child, but as a vampire. They’re usually referred to as “a Born-Vampire.” Those who are Turned do so by either ingesting vampire venom or having it injected into their bloodstream. They’re usually referred to as “a Turned” or “a Turned Vampire.”
Wyldling: a were-creature who once lost the ties that keep all were-creatures grounded in their human half to keep them from being overcome with their animal instincts. Losing every single one of these ties turns them feral, but if they reform old ties or gain new ones, they regain some of their humanity.
One of the effects of becoming a Wyldling is some sort of loss of colour– some lose colour in their irises or their skin or their claws. Another is a surplus of strength, stamina, and durability. It’s unclear why dye applied to places void of colour bleaches back to ‘normal’ within an hour– there’s no way to stop it or slow it down or reverse it.
————————————————————————–
Send me a number/numbers for the above OCs (Keita, Birdie, Kazemir)
#ellstersmash#wow i spent a lot longer on this than I intended to BUT I'M SO HAPPY WITH IT#thank you for the ask!#My OCs#Lore#Keita Seiji#The Trio#freaky talks#Brigh Tweedie#Kazemir Andra Dar

Eleven Questions
I was tagged by the lovely @cvrmillas (thank you so much you always make my entire day <3)! I’ll tag @violetcancerian @imaghostwriter @blitz-spirit-and-foray, @kipskiff and anyone else who wants to do it! (I’m not sure who of y’all from the discord like being tagged in tag games)
My Questions
1. What’s your favorite genre to read? How about to write?
2. What trope will you defend to the death?
3. Name one thing that gets you invested in a character in minutes
4. Do your OC’s have anything in common with each other? How about with you?
5. Do you play any video games? Have the plots of any of those influenced your writing?
6. Do you have a style? Describe it.
7. What would be the best compliment you could get as a writer?
8. What is one of your favorite reviews that you’ve ever gotten?
9. Do you give thought to your character’s zodiac signs/other astrological alignments?
10. Summarize your WIP (or a WIP of yours/AU of yours) using only the 1,000 most used words (link here!) [Skip this one if you want lol, I just got the idea and it made me laugh]
11. Would you be able to dress like any of your OC’s? Which is closest to your sense of fashion and which is furthest?
Questions Asked Of Me
1. Is there any genre you want to try writing but haven’t yet?
I sort of want to try writing more historical fiction type stuff? But I get interested in super niche areas of history, and I don’t know if the scope of research would really gel with what I enjoy.
2. Besides books, poetry, literature in general, what other media inspires your writing?
Video. Games. I love some really really good video game plots and I absolutely am not above playing one and being like “that. that. I want to write THAT.”
3. How do you create your oc’s? Are there any who are inspired by people you know or characters that you like?
I give them my traumas I never write OC’s inspired by people I know--that kind of weirds me out because then I have trouble distinguishing between the OC and them, if that makes sense. Mostly, I like to pick a character trope and then do my own spin on it, I guess? Honestly I mostly develop them as I write, once I write their intro, they start doing their own thing and I am cool with it, it helps it feel more organic.
4. If your oc is from a fantasy/scifi world, how do you think they would live in our world? If they are from our world, do you think they could survive in a fantasy/scifi world?
OK, let’s go through ALL of them.
Anura and Dawn would not do good in our world since like. Specialized physiology and all that jazz, and people thinking of them as freaks. We can’t even deal with people of different ethnicities/religions/sexualities etc, I can’t imagine how much people would lose their shit over a plant person and a glowy bean.
Morgan would miss piloting a LOT. They’d probably have a pilot’s license for airplanes but it wouldn’t be the same.
Sellia and Sergei would both do pretty well, but would hate not having their prosthetics.
Henry would be peachy keen (aside from worried about Dawn).
5. Are there certain types of characters you’re drawn to when reading or watching a show or film? Do these character types make their way into your own writing or do you write different types of characters?
The gay ones Seriously though, I really like characters with interesting representation. Asexual characters most of all (since I’m ace and wanna see people like me). And heck yes they make their way into my writing. I really rarely write straight white men.
6. Is there a book that you wish you wrote? What about it makes you wish you wrote it?
My favorite book, I Am The Messenger by Markus Zusak. The style is BEAUTIFUL and the message is so inspiring and profound. It’s one of those books that made me think differently and I loved it.
7. What’s the last book that you read? Has it influenced your current writing in any way?
Lol, the last book I read was The Sound Of The Mountain by Kawabata Yasunari for my Japanese literature class. So no, it hasn’t.
8. Are there any writeblr’s who influence or inspire you to keep writing?
I love @imaghostwriter for all their lovely positivity! Same with @cvrmillas! @quilloftheclouds and their worldbuilding also inspire me! And I love @crypticsx and their consistent posting about their process!
9. Besides writing, what other hobbies do you have?
I play video games, knit, do nail art, read, sketch some. Nothing super exciting lol
10. Do you think you would be friends with your oc’s? Are there any oc’s you dislike but would be friends with, or any that you like but think you wouldn’t be friends with?
I haven’t created a ton of OC’s that are distinctly bad people, so I could probably be friends with most of them. Sellia though has SO MUCH personality, so I don’t know if I could keep up with her lol
11. Your oc’s are in a band: what instrument would they play? Who would be the lead singer?
Oh gosh, oh gosh. I have exactly NO idea. Dawn has the nicest singing voice, so she would probably be the lead singer. She’s also the one who like. Radiates charisma at all times. Morgan would probably be the drummer, like constant support, Anura might assist Dawn with vocals or play like? Keyboard? Sellia and Sergei would do guitar. I honestly don’t know with Henry.

( i haven’t even done his theme yet but i was just so excited to write joon’s intro that i had to do this before anything else !! )
hello ! i’m beeba, 19, in pst !! it’s lovely to be back, and i’ve brought with me a new, debatable-if-improved version of my baby boy yoojoon. things have gotten a bit darker and twistier with him this go-around but i can assure you that somewhere deep.....deep........deepdeepdeep down he’s still a soft boy. HENNYWAYS ! under the cut you will find a bio, headcanons, and wanted connections !!
give this a like if you’re interested in plotting uwu. i’ll hit you up in the dm’s, or you can add me on discord @ namjoon’s “brrrrrrt” in cypher 4#2323
☾*✧・゚:*「 kim seokjin. cismale. he/him. 」did you know that there’s a wizard in haneul known as moon yoojoon? they have been living here for the past eleven years and is a strategist for the hyeon mu. they are currently twenty seven and was a student at crocus institute of higher magic in the house nightshade. i heard that they are known to be unyielding, but worry not ! i heard they are also very selfless too. remember to stay out of trouble, the ju jak are lurking around every corner !
( tw for familial death, alcoholism, abuse, violence, murder, and gang activity )
BIO:
yoojoon was the youngest of four boys born ( accidentally ) to moon hojoon and moon jisoo, in the small town of punggi.
his mother was a tarot card reader/fortune teller who worked out of their home and his father a retired duellist for the hyeon mu. they lived off of his mother’s meager income and his father’s military pension that the hyeon mu provided since he was honourably discharged after a combat incident that left him traumatized.
his birth was considered a hindrance to his father more than anything else. another mouth to feed with the little they had.
hojoon was a very heavy drinker, using it as a coping mechanism to deal w/ his trauma. he often took his anger out on his sons and wife --- rarely laying a hand on them, but often yelling so loudly the house would shake.
yoojoon had a very close relationship with his mother and his eldest brother saejoon who was twelve years his senior. his two middle brothers mostly brushed him off out of fear of their father.
he didn’t begin showing signs of magic until he was five, and his mother was worried for the first few years that he was a squib, due to all his brothers showing signs of magic in infancy.
the first thing yoojoon ever did magic-wise was make a bush of azaleas in their back garden bloom out of season. his entire family celebrated his feat that night, even his father.
as he grew older and began to attend school, he decided he wanted to be a duellist like his father was. he did well in all his classes in the hopes that when the time came he could move to seoul and attend crocus to receive proper training
was a very happy, bouncy little kid with a love for flowers. could most often be found out in the garden with his mother as she tended to the seasonal blooms.
had a knack for potion making from an early age. his mother always told him that he should pursue a career in potion making but he adamantly refused because he wanted a manly job.
when yoojoon was ten, saejoon left punggi for seoul, with plans of joining a vigilante resistance group disassociated from the hyeon mu. they considered themselves freedom fighters who sought to bring an end to the ongoing war between the magi and the ju jak through methods such as peaceful protests and attempts at reconciliation.
their father was more than displeased. he told his eldest son that if he did leave he would never be welcomed back, but he left anyways with the promise of writing to yoojoon as often as he could about his “ adventures in the big city. ”
tensions in their household only rose after his brother left. his father drank more, his mother threw herself into her work. his two remaining brothers left for school, leaving him alone to handle his parents.
saejoon never ended up writing him, and yoojoon began to resent him for leaving.
at fourteen, yoojoon received new that his brother had died at the hands of the ju jak --- “ another tragic casualty of war ” as the letter stated.
the two years in between his brother’s death and him starting at crocus are kind of a blur for him. lots of heated arguments with his father over the nature of saejoon’s death that would turn into physical altercations, nights spent sobbing silently in saejoon’s empty bedroom. he was a whole ass mess, with good reason, and acted accordingly.
when he was sixteen he finally moved to seoul, having come to terms as best he could with saejoon’s death. he realized he couldn’t put his life on hold to continue mourning, and that that was not what his brother would have wanted for him.
he was put in nightshade upon arriving at crocus, and despite words of encouragement from his professors to go into potion making he stayed firmly on track towards becoming a duelist. he was now more determined than ever --- hellbent on avenging his brother’s death and taking the ju jak down one by one.
a year into his education he was approached by a group of boys who were apart of the same vigilante group his brother had been in, called the faceless ones. wanting to follow in his footsteps and aide the war effort, yoojoon joined.
attending school falls second to attending group meetings in a grungy warehouse downtown. it seems innocent enough at first --- passing a bottle of soju around a fire, sharing stories of the ones lost to the ju jak. but as time goes on and tensions between magi and humans grow further, things become more serious.
the boys don masks with magi emblazoned on the front to cover their faces as they wreak havoc in the human-populated areas of the city. they lights cars on fire, vandalize businesses, and some go as far as attacking innocent people --- ju jak or not. it takes some impressive mental gymnastics on yoojoon’s part to justify the actions of his peers, but he manages when he’s got enough liquor in his system.
his knack for potions makes him the ideal candidate for making simple weaponry --- pipe bombs, pouches full of noxious herbs, tinctures that when applied to the skin melt it clean off the bone. but working behind the scenes wasn’t what he joined to do. he joined to kill ju jak.
and so he does. indirectly at first --- more of a mastermind than an executioner --- but growing more bold as time goes on. the first time he takes a life with his own hands he’s just turned seventeen, and he hates the rush it gives him.
he attends school during the day and uses the skills he learns to kill by night. he is methodical, unlike the others, careful. he plans his attacks for days before carrying them out, and enacts his plans with professional ease. he becomes well known to ju jak and hyeon mu alike --- and both groups want him caught.
however, one poorly executed plan leads to him falling into the hands of the hyeon mu, and they give him a choice. he’s either to join them as a duelist --- because his talents, though being used poorly, cannot simply be thrown away --- or rot in prison for murder.
it’s an easy choice, and when he’s just shy of eighteen he’s officially a member of the hyeon mu.
as far as rookie duelists go, he’s considered one of the most talented. his prior experience ( though they don’t like to admit it ) gives him a leg up on the others his age, and he finds himself climbing through the ranks quickly.
he figures if he can’t change the way the magi deal with ju jak as part of a rebel organization, he may as well work on it from the inside.
he’s an accomplished duelist with a very high number of confirmed kills and arrests.
by twenty three he’s no longer a duelist --- they prefer to use his talents in careful planning over his manpower. he’s appointed to the committee of strategists that work closely with the leaders of the hyeon mu to gather information on the ju jak and plan out attacks accordingly.
he’s frickin amazing at it. it’s truly what he was always meant to do, and he makes triple what he did as a duelist without needing to be in the field.
now, at twenty seven, he’s now the head strategist with a small committee working underneath him.
he rly out here tryna revolutionize the way the magi and the hyeon mu deal with the ju jak, because he feels as though he has more relevant field experience than many of the higher ups who have simply been observing this war rather than taking part in it.
truly believes that they could be doing more, but for whatever reason are not. in his eyes the hyeon mu is not functioning at it’s full capabilities, and their efforts are sitting stagnant as the ju jak grow in number.
the most anti-government government employee you will ever meet. often accuses the president of sitting on their ass with their security detail to protect them while the common people are terrorized.
however, as much as he calls out and openly bashes the hyeon mu’s methods, they can’t afford to lose him because he rly has made a ton of progress and at this point with the amount he knows he’s irreplaceable, and too much of a liability to let go of.
so now he sits in his cushy office on the top floor of a gorgeous building, overlooking the city and planning various ways to absolutely pulverize the ju jak at whatever cost.
HEADCANONS & RANDOM FACTS:
still very close with his mom !! she often comes and stays in the city with him, and he spoils the hell out of her :’)))
he has a familiar: a fat, orange cat named calcifer whom he adores endlessly.
is a hobby potion maker. it relaxes him.
loves a good vodka soda w/ lime.
while he isn’t very social, he loves to attend high society parties because it gives him an excuse to wear one of his many fancy suits.
quite a snarky asshole, will give you shit regardless of your position or status.
enjoys eating sticky rice.
public speaking is like.....a weird talent of his ? he absolutely loathes it, but he’s read in newspapers that he inspires the common folk with his passion so he just kinda rolls with it.
is rly just out here trying to make life better for the average magi. he doesn’t do what he does because he’s endlessly loyal to the hyeon mu --- he does it for the people.
basically lives in his office because he’s Always Working. he has like, a kettle and a hotplate and a mini fridge, blankets, a bed for calcifer ( who he often brings to work with him ) and all sorts of random crap that he’s accumulated to make the space as homey as he can.
keeps fresh bouquets of azalea’s in both his office and his apartment because they remind him of home and of his mom uwu
very messy, misplaces things within seconds of picking them up i swear to god. has defs lost important paperwork and spent hours scrambling to find it, just to see he placed it on top of a cupboard by accident when he got up for a snack.
has ptsd from his time in the faceless ones as well as his time as a duelist in the field. he frequently has nightmares because of this.
WANTED CONNECTIONS:
literally anything bc im a thirsty thot
other ex-members of the faceless ones:
the relationship between members was a very familial one, and it’s very likely that other members were apprehended and given the same ultimatum as joonie. whether they’re now in prison or decided to join the hyeon mu, it’s very likely joonie tried to stay in contact.
current members of the faceless ones:
this connection would be a bit more messy. they would probably consider joonie a traitor or a sell-out and feel very betrayed by his actions.
his assistant:
idk why he’d have one.....but i want him to !!! we would obvs flesh out the actual aspects of it but i just think it’d be cute lol. playin mini-office-basketball ? gorging on donuts ? arguing over the filing system ? yes please !!!
committee members:
other strategists who work with joonie !! they could be chummy coworkers, rivals, u name it !!
other members of the hyeon mu:
MORE COWORKERS !!!!!!!!! someone pls gimme an angst plot where joonie slept w/ someone from a diff department and now they make awkward eye contact when they pass one another in the halls thank u
AND ON THAT NOTE !! ex-hookups:
he would have been much to involved in his work to ever have an actual relationship, but he defs enjoys a good fling every now and then and probs got down and dirty with a lot of people
current hookups:
he still gettin down and dirty with a lot of people...........lmao
friends:
even this tragic annoying man gotta have friends ig. someone to play billiards with and force him to go out once in a while.

➸ intro ; paris kim
➸ ooc ;
hi everyone!! i’m des, I’m 18 and in the PST timezone. i will be playing my beautiful son, paris kim. just some things about me in no particular order; i’m a kpop stan ( do kpop stans deserve rights? lets debate fellas ) and have an unhealthy album collecting obsession. i love TRC, AFTG, and TSOA like most of tumblr. i can definitely say that i gathered inspiration for paris from a few different characters from all those books/series. ooh also i’m a chaotic bi and my sign is a leo!!
➸ ic ; bio , stats, pinterest, wanted connections
paris is 18 years old, born august 4th. yes, he is as leo as they come.
he grew up in a small studio apartment in midtown manhattan near k-town with his dad, they stood there until he was about 8 years old. they relocated to a small two bedroom apartment that his dad could barely afford in hell’s kitchen.
his dad, jihoon, met his mother at the beginning of his last semester of university. he had a job at an art museum working part-time as a tour guide. he had been assigned to the greek section of the exhibit when he met her, jihoon would always tell paris that it was love at first sight.
paris was a... troubled child. receiving attention to paris was like breathing air, he was very needy as a baby. as he grew older he dad began to grow resentful towards his mother when he realized she really wouldn’t be returning and soon there was a rift in their bond.
paris acted out, because they lived paycheck to paycheck there was nothing for paris besides the roof over his head and a few new things here and there.
he soon got in the habit of stealing small things from corner stores such a sweets, his charmspeak made it easy for him to receive and receive without question.
he arrived at camp when he was ten years old and found that he life at camp half blood was much more enjoyable than his life in manhattan. his first year at camp was spent just during the summer but his dad quickly realized this wasn’t in either of their best interest.
he became a year-round camper when he was eleven, visiting home for a few weeks for holidays.
paris met aphrodite when he was 12 years old, he found his mother .. odd but there was no resentment when he thought of her.
he fought in both big wars, now having survived unlike some of his siblings and campmates he feels guilt and has ptsd induced insomnia.
he’s a sweet boy, always doing his best to put other’s first but he runs into trouble a lot with his humongous ego. since arriving at camp 8 years ago he has been somewhat able to control his charmspeak. his worst fear is that someone will think he is using it on them when he really isn’t, he fears that people think he is trying to do harm in anyway so he kind of overcompensates with kindness.
#god this got sooo long sorry yall#also i havent finished the connections page but i put the link just so i dont have to go back and edit#everyone message me to plot#fleece.intros#[ lover boy ]

Loan & Careers Articles.
In old opportunities narration was the major form of interaction. I would enjoy to possess a version of the Pong Clock that worked on these panels as an alternative to the Sure shows, which are a little bit challenging to acquire, possess a wacky form-factor, and also are actually improperly supported in my experience. Therefore beginning now, you may download and also watch your preferred motion pictures and television shows without ever must let go of the Xbox controller, which could be harmful to your connections, however really helpful for catching up on any type of episodes of 24 you could possess overlooked.
Flicks also form a component of amusement. The Bechdel Test seeks to examine the representation of females in motion pictures. A life-time of seeing ladies sexualised in tv, music videos and also promotions has actually made our company quite comfy along with assuming the male look. Lots of individuals enjoy to take pictures of almost every little thing, and what behaves regarding digital photography is that it may be both utilized as a career and a leisure activity. Enjoyments in its own very early days were actually merely concentrated to stadia occasions, after that it moved on in the direction of tv. A Columbia College Songs Lecturer, John Szwed, told the The big apple Times that Alan forecasted or imagined something like the internet that used records as well as numerous sets of guidelines for classifying and also streaming music, or even as he placed it "a public music box".
. For doctors in Northern Kentucky, handling narcotics addicts creates a lonely profession road. First-run flicks, fine meals options, on-site made produced beer, red or dodaci-za-zdravlje.info white wine, as well as pleasant seating along with a hold-up team - it's cinema bliss. Eleven state Medicaid programs put lifetime therapy restrictions on how long addicts may be prescribed Suboxone, ranging between one and also three years. There were opportunities when I even failed to remember to consume my nachos, as I was actually thus soaked up in the account on the display. We could view everything on the monitor coming from basically every slant that you will ever before discover on your own at, as well as we possessed no problems from a tiny group that our company assembled to view a 1080p film trailer. They additionally hold aristocracy free of charge music and acquistion popular music which is actually ideal for use as background music for video clip, quick docudrama, television and also film development. While the very early silent age films were actually assembling a raw anecdotal foreign language inspired through movie theater and literature, Buñuel rather developed a film that went ahead on the unique reasoning of a dream. In 1995, the channel of Walt Disney's computer animated cinema Pocahontas" revived a lengthy neglected story of courage and excitement that redesigned the way of life of Indian historical amount - the Indian princess Pocahontas. Each these channels return with films, popular music, regular cleansing soaps that rate of number of customers. Along with every little thing in position, I kicked back on my couch, a mere 6 shoes out of the display screen, and also enjoyed my very first residence projector adventure: the teaser advertisement for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Share you really love and also Contentment with your buddy, household and also liked ones with the beloved scent of Vegetation and create the day cheerful. Getting here right into Nice flight terminal and then taking a taxi flight right into Cannes is actually always the most ideal intro into this movie festival for me. I mesmerize on the current French politics and also phrase on the streets of France with my cab driver, who generally has some Italian blood stream, coming from the days Nice was actually linked with northerly Italy.

It’s really hard to think about what to say to thank a single scriptwriter for the heart and soul of a show that has never given me so much hope and to fight through the hardships of life with that much determination. So many people talk about the themes that positively plague the past 7 years of Doctor Who, but it’s a bit easier for me to find the words to other small things that connect to me personally. And that is the details of the heart of the characters he has created. So here we go.
It’s funny how The Eleventh Hour started it all, because it really did. This episode was the mark of when I really enjoyed this show to the turning point of how much it has meant to me, to the point I use it to fight through my depression and anxiety and the battles that I’ve fought since first being introduced to Amy Pond. Never in my life have I ever come across a character who suffered from mental illness, but it didn’t define whatsoever who they were, and many times it sadly didn’t end well in other films or shows. It’s something only those who just get it seem to point out, even when it was never verbally addressed. But the reactions to situations say it all. And Amy’s love for art and history screams at me since they are my favorite things to learn about. The growth Amy has gone through really helps me with the same struggles.
Clara was the current companion when I started watching. I didn’t know how to feel knowing she was coming in, because I had become so attached to Amy and Rory its ridiculous (it’s the family theme what can I say *friends and family are who I live for*). But there was something about her I did like. I adored her intro, especially when Eleven came to her rescue and took her to her bed and setting up the flowers and jammie dodgers and such while her theme song played. It was stupidly cute and still is. And even though there wasn’t anything that really grabbed me on a personal level like Amy, which wasn’t a bad thing, just different, I still liked her. But then came the 50th anniversary and it was shown she had become an English teacher. So there was my personal connection and it grabbed me hard. Even though I didn’t teach English literature, but the actual language, it was still teaching, and then she was traveling just like she had wished, just like I had just started earlier that year when I moved to South Korea for that very reason. Deep Breath really hit as well because the day before it aired I had a talk with a co-worker on how to control the classroom, something it showed that Clara struggled with that implied happened before the events of Day of the Doctor.
The beginning of this year was when I was really starting to question my sexuality. Because I learned that I have no sexual reaction or feelings toward anyone. So that’s how I learned I was asexual. Then I realized I am attracted aesthetically to both men and women, but much moreso for the latter. Because of this I became a lot more openly supportive for the LGBT+ community, because no one deserves to be treated any less than another. Then it was announced Bill, the new companion, is openly gay. I may not be a lesbian, but I sure am not straight that’s for sure if I have this many romantic feelings for women more than men as a whole, so I connected with her in that aspect. It helped me become more strong and proud of who I am as an individual. And don’t get me on Heather. She is quite literally the only Heather I’ve come across in television or film that wasn’t portrayed as a rich stuck up horrible person or portrayed in a very sexual manner. I got to see a character who shares my name who isn’t straight and gets with the companion. And she can fly the TARDIS. As far as we know the only other person who can aside from River, and right before the Doctor regenerates into a woman. That’s pretty awesome.
The Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors are one in the same, but then there are those differences between them as well. Mentally I feel like I connect with younger people as a whole. With all the struggles I went through as a child, I really connect with children and the way they think. I act a lot more youthful than I actually am, and according to most people who don’t know me they believe I’m a teenager when in reality I’m in my early thirties. So the majority of people I come across believe I’m a lot younger than I actually am. I’ve spent nearly my entire life hiding my feelings, not leading on how I really feel, bottling it all up. And I don’t react well to losing people. At. all. I loose it and close myself off from everyone. Sound familiar? As for Twelve, everything really fell into place in The Doctor Falls. I act out of kindness. It’s what I’ve done and have believed in my entire life. As a victim of emotional abuse and neglect by the world outside of my home, I’ve always treated everyone the very best I could, because no one deserves to go through what I did. Kindness gets you so much farther than bitterness or jealousy. And I believe the world could do a little more of it. Eleven most certainly demonstrated this for sure, and every Doctor really. But to actually hear it spoken so precisely really got to me.
There is so much more I could go one about with these wonderful characters, but these are the primary thoughts that really speak to me on a personal level, which is what really made me feel attached to this wonderful era Moffat have given us. Steven Moffat brought the most personable characters I’ve ever come across to life and helped me get through some of the darkest years of my life with one of the hardest cases of depression I’ve ever had. And his characters, the people who portray them, and some of the most memorable quotes in television have helped me fight through so much of it. Every day is a page in my story, and everyday a new page is written. For me personally it’s always been better to live in the present rather than worry about the future. But everyday reveals that new page of my story, and the same goes for everyone else. And rather than saying goodbye, I will keep turning the pages for the Thirteenth Doctor and everything Chris Chibnall has in store for us. As for my personal favorite quote:
“We’re all stories in the end, just make it a good one, eh.”
I intend to make my story a good one, and I will help others with theirs as well, And everyone who was a part of this era certainly did make this era a good one, and Steven Moffat was the one who lead. Thank you Moff. I’ve never been more inspired nor have I felt this good about myself. You made my story that much brighter.
