Multiplication rock top 11 except there are only 11 tracks

I wrote this like half a year ago when I was bored on a boat with no wifi during the height of my Schoolhouse Rock hyperfixation with no access to any music other than Multiplication Rock. (and a megavolt charcater playlist)

Little twelve toes It's so good. I love aliens and I love the mysterious vibes dispite the really silly lyrics. I love the alien's design. I like the farmer And his ADHD fueled monologue that is the whole song. And I love how Bob says "wow!" near the end. Why does he do that??

Elementary, my dear So funny to me that they used the story of Noah's Arc to teach multiplication. I like how Noah has a lil raincoat. I like how his kid says "huh?" the whole song is very loving and joyful Its so cute. It really does feel like a father teaching a young child something and making it sound very simple without belittling the kid. I also like Bob's little vocalizations once again. Like his "woo!" and "yeah B)"

Lucky Seven Sampson That one furry who ranked this song so high was right he is kinda fine. COUGH COUGH WHO SAID THAT. But yeah I like how chill he is and how he just glides through life while explaining the times tables. Sampson is so happy and confident it's very inspirational I love him <3

My Hero, Zero I don't like how long the intro is but yk now I know the hero monologue by heart so ig thats funny. I do really like the actual song. I agree with the message. Zero is an unsung hero and I love it. The stepping stones to our number system. I like how he says "--and you've got yourself a ten! see how important that is!" and all the lines in that tune. I like personifying zero as an underdog of sorts.

Naughty Number Nine I'm really bad at math so maybe this is my own fault but I'm 16 and I like never use this trick bc I didn't really understand it until I listened to this song like 10 times. I think. I think I'm stupid. Also I like the design of nine he's so kitty.

Three is A magic number This is only so low because I love a lot of these songs so much. I love the number three. Humans love the number three. They don't even go into it in this song but rule of threes is also a thing in both comedy and rule of thirds in art and photography it's actually crazy. Three is baked into the core of reality. The song has a nice chill vibe its timestables section is very catchy.

Ready or not, here I come I love ready or not but I put it so low bc over half the lyrics are spoken or just literally counting by fives. That does not stop it from getting stuck in my head. I do like the actual rhymes a lot because they're very energetic and playful but its literally like 20 seconds of the song and the rest is counting. I already know how to count by fives it's like the third easiest number to count by

Good eleven I get the the chorus stuck in my head alot. I like eleven. Mm. I like how Bob says the words… Not much to say about this one. It's good!!

The four legged zoo This one isn't bad I just don't really care for it as much. I'm not even really bothered by the kids singing. Because. I honestly don't care if singing is bad or flat as long as its not terribly off key. I like how Bob rawrs. Why does he do these things.

Figure eight Figure eight is mostly really boring to me just because I don't care for the kinda ballet vibe I wanna say?? I know nothing about music. I really like when the tempo picks up after the first verse and then even more after that. This is the only female artist song on the album though which is interesting. Ig it's because this album is mostly Bob Dorough.

I'm hyperfixated on Peanuts and I recently watched "Play it Again, Charlie Brown" and he plays guitar in it!! And he's good!! Not like outstanding but he's good!! That's a huge success for this boy. (Also, Pigpen plays drums) so that's where the inspiration is from.

Also, I'm reading the comic chronologically and it's actually pretty interesting how many times he's practiced and played string instruments (he is NOT good there tho) there were two strips very early on about him learning violin (and sucking)

and these strips are actually the first mention of Beethoven in the comic before Schroeder was even introduced which is pretty interesting to me. Does it mean nothing? Yes. Am I Intreqed nonetheless? Yes.

There is a bit of evidence to suggest Charlie Brown does have a bit of musical knowledge/ability.

There are some more I have in mind but I'm receiving these as I write this and it's rather tedious.. But yeah how does a four year old know the difference between Beethoven and tschaikowsky? I can't even spell that without looking.

That's not to say that Charlie Brown is terribly knowledgeable on the subject, I kinda see it as him introducing Schroeder to something he finds a passing interest in and Schroeder, the autist he is, completely and totally fixating on it. He did canonically introduce him to piano actually !

Another example of him playing the violin, though it's a toy, is in this Sunday strip. I think there's one or two more of them playing together as a duo. I'm pretty sure in one of them it's a guitar and not a violin but I'm sure it's the same darn cigar box either way. (I like early Charlie Brown's ego quite a lot. He kinda got the confidence beaten out of him over the years. I can relate to that.)

I wanna draw him and Schroeder sometime bc Charlie Brown was very supportive of him when he was younger (the comics above do not prove that I promise he's very nice to the baby most of the time. Not so much with Lucy...) and ik that's like.. Retconned, but I think its rather cute and who's going to come at me over peanuts canonisity? Nobody. Anyway, that's why I drew white boy with a guitar.
