I made it back from my little comic con getaway! I’m semi-alive.
I come bearing pics (though not as many as I would’ve liked). So, I’ll put them under the cut for those of you who want to see them. Anyone else, feel free to keep scrolling. This is just me rambling. And showing off my cosplay and Daredevil merch I bought. With a lot of text. Sorry.
I didn’t have the time to take a pic of my Day One Matt Cosplay, but I do have pics from the test run I did a couple of days back.
(I didn’t have the time to put on the fake blood on Saturday, but that was kind of how I wanted it to look when I first tried it on, minus the added blood on the nose, that was just a stupid attempt at making it look more… gore-y? I think. I don’t know. My brain is tired and I’m just typing this on my phone and I don’t have the brain cells to form a coherent thought.)
Anyway, the first two is a (kind of) look at how I looked at the con on Saturday. It was a very slutty version of lawyer!Matt and the Season 1 promo poster. I tried. Also, I have no idea how to take proper pictures of myself. I apologize 😭
NOW moving on to my look on Day Two (today). That was a lot easier because I already had the sweater, and there was no way I wouldn’t pull up in the iconic “I’m Not Daredevil” Comic!Matt look. It was the obvious choice.
(Excuse the crusty-ass hotel selfie quality.)
I really enjoyed dressing up, and I think I might invest even more time and money for next year and go all out. As much as I can, anyway.
It was fun, but it was definitely different than last year. A lot less crowded, too. I still think it was amazing and I’ve loved seeing everyone dress up as their favorite characters and just feel welcome because everyone was there for the same reason. That’s why I love these conventions so much. It really is a judgement free zone.
And there is always a lot of shopping, which I did. I secured a lot of goods, and of course, I am going to share them with you now.
I got this amazing Elektra Funko.
AND THIS?!?! I FUCKING LOVE IT!!
And the girl selling this was so excited someone finally bought one of her Matt prints, we both geeked out. I still can’t believe I found this.
And then I got these pins…
AND THIS AMAZING GINORMOUS SWEATER/HOODIE/BLANKET
And a Barbie poster (It says “Hi Barbie” but I was too lazy to unroll it completely)
Overall, I think I found some amazing stuff! I just had to share it with you.
Can’t wait for spring next year, honestly.

YELP REVIEWS [tasm!peter parker x reader]
pairings: tasm!peter parker x reader
warning(s): none
summary: a fan decided to make an unofficial yelp page for spider man as a joke. A lot of clients...or citizens had so much to say.
A/n: Just a random short fluff. I'll go back doing dark stories once I feel like it. I haven't really used Yelp, but my friend gave me this idea lol, so credit to Angelina lol. Don't steal this coz I'll shave your head.
Peter slumped on the couch scrolling through his phone. He frowned intensely and tapped a link you had just sent him, headlined as "Spider-Man Yelp Reviews"
You leaned against the door with a stifled grin. "Found it while looking at reviews for that new pizza place. Thought you'd get a kick out of the comments from your…clients."
Peter groaned. "Clients? I'm not running a business. What is this?"
Thumbing through the reviews, he cycled through disbelief, frustration then finally wounded pride.
2 stars
"He saved me from a mugger, but he sailed so quickly I didn't even manage to get the chance to say than you. Really rude."
3 stars
"I appreciate the help...however, he left me dangling from a lamppost for 20 minutes until the cops arrived. You could have just dropped me on the ground bro."
4 stars
"Brilliant rescue, but my phone screen got cracked when he yanked me into a speeding car. Thanks, I guess"
Peter threw his head back, exasperated. "Cracked phone screens? I'm sorry, Janet, would you prefer to have been hit by the car?"
"Peter, this is gold," you dropped beside him taking the phone to scroll further. "Ooh, look at this one!"
1 star
“I yelled for Spider-Man to come help me when my cat was stuck in a fire escape. He didn’t show. What’s the worth of a superhero when they won’t even help the little guy from time to time?”
"That wasn't even a crime," Peter exclaimed with hands thrown up. "What do people expect me to do run a cat rescue hotline?"
"I mean…isn't helping people your whole thing? Even the little guys? Or, in this case, little cats?"
He narrowed his eyes at you. "You're enjoying this way too much."
"Oh, I'm loving it." You scrolled to another review.
3 stars
"Got my purse back after it was snatched, but when he handed it to me, he just said, 'Here ya go,' and left. No photo, no autograph. Kinda rude."
"Oh no, Peter, how dare you not stay for selfies mid-crime fighting?" You snickered.
Peter dragged a hand down his face. "Am I supposed to throw a meet and greet after every mugging? Should I bring merch? Web-slingers for kids? Spider-Man action figures?"
You wiggled your eyebrows. "Don't tempt me to start a side hustle."
He shook his head, scrolling further. His eyes widening in disbelief at the review.
1 star
"I yelled for Spider-Man to help me with my groceries. He didn't show up. Ended up dragging six bags up five flights of stairs by myself. What's even the point of having a superhero if he doesn't help the little people?"
Peter let out a strangled laugh. "Groceries? I have to save people from groceries now?"
"Be honest," you teased. "If you would have heard her, would you help?"
He hesitated. "…I mean, maybe. If I wasn't busy."
"Softie," you said, poking his cheek. "You're gonna carry someone's Costco haul one day; I just know it."
Peter groaned louder and clicked on another review, muttering, "It can't get worse. It can't possibly—"
0 stars
"Spider-Man swung by my building and broke my balcony railing. Now my landlord's charging me for repairs. Thanks, webhead."
"Oh," you managed a stifled laugh. "Isn't that the guy from your last patrol? You know, the one who yelled at you when you were chasing that car thief?"
Peter buried his face into his hands. "It's not my fault that balconies are so flimsy in the city. It's very hard to swing around without hitting something."
You patted his shoulder soothingly. "Don't worry, hero. I'm sure you'll get your Yelp rating up again. Maybe even start a loyalty program? Save five, get a free coffee?"
Peter shot you a look, betraying irritation and amusement. "You're impossible." You just grinned menacingly at his words.
"Hey, look at this one," you said, stealing the phone and scrolling to a five-star review, finally. "Finally, some love."
5 stars
“Spider-Man saved my dog from traffic. My girlfriend thinks he's cute. I do too, honestly. Would let him rescue me any day.”
He blinked. "What…what does that even mean?!"
"It means you’re the city’s hottest, most eligible bachelor,” you said, draping an arm over his shoulders. "Even dogs are falling for you. Can't blame them."
He rubbed his temples. “I think I need to retire. Or move to a quieter city. Do they need Spider-Man in, like, Ohio? Whadoyo think baby?”
You smiled and opened the Yelp app. “There, there, hero. I’ll fix your reputation." You assured him as you patted his back
Peter leaned over, squinting as you typed. “What are you— '5 stars. Spider-Man is amazing. Handsome. Athletic. Definitely has a great butt' Babe!" He read out everything you typed for him as you clicked the submit button
You winked. "Just telling the truth. Besides, if you're going to be stuck here, you might as well be a five-star hero."
"Unbelievable," he muttered, but the corner of his mouth twitched up in a smile.

nick folio smut pleaseee
Drummer's Desire
Nick Folio x bsf!reader
Summary: Y/N, the merch girl, and Nick Folio have always been close. On tour, their bond deepens as playful flirting turns into something more.
Words: 5.6k
Warnings: SMUT 18+, unprotected p in v (wrap it before you tap it), fingering, orgasm, nicknames, friends to lovers, smoking, let me know if I forgot something
Disclaimer: While the characters in this story are inspired by real people, the events and interactions are purely fictional and not reflective of reality.
You didn’t plan on becoming a merch girl, let alone sticking around long enough to be considered a staple of the Bad Omens crew. It all started when you took the job as a favor for a friend. Their usual merch handler had bailed last minute, and they needed someone to cover for one show. You’d been a fan of the band but never expected to end up on tour with them.
One show turned into two, and before you knew it, you were stuffing your life into a suitcase and hopping on a bus with a group of guys who quickly became your second family. Over the years, you’d bonded with each member of the band, laughing at Noah’s sarcastic quips, staying up late playing video games with Jolly, and helping clean up after some of Ruffilo's wilder post-show antics.
But Folio? Folio was different.
From the moment you met him, the two of you clicked. Whether it was your shared sense of humor, the one or the other joint, his easygoing attitude, or how he always managed to lighten the mood, Folio became your best friend on the road.
Matt, the band’s manager, never let you live it down, constantly teasing the two of you about how inseparable you were. You both brushed it off—because that’s what friends do.
At least, that’s what you told yourself.
The sun was already baking the asphalt as you hauled the first of many boxes of merch from the van to the venue’s back entrance. You could feel the sweat trickling down the back of your neck, but the thought of another tour had your adrenaline pumping. The familiar smell of stale beer and faintly disinfected hallways greeted you as you stepped inside.
"Just another day living the dream," you muttered to yourself, setting the box down with a grunt.
“Need help, princess?”
The voice, smooth and teasing, sent a shiver down your spine despite the heat. You turned to find Nick Folio leaning casually against the doorframe, his signature smirk firmly in place. He wore his usual tour uniform—black jeans and a black shirt—and looked irritatingly unfazed by the work ahead.
“Princess?” you asked, arching an eyebrow, though you couldn’t fight the grin tugging at your lips.
“What? You don’t like it?” Folio pushed off the frame and strolled toward you. “Thought it suited you. All regal, in charge of your little merch kingdom.”
You rolled your eyes. “More like I’m the pack mule of your kingdom. But if you’re offering, your royal highness, I could use the help.”
“Thought you’d never ask.” He winked, stepping past you to grab a box. His cologne mixed with the stale air of the venue, and you pretended not to notice how good it smelled.
The two of you worked in tandem, grabbing boxes from the van and stacking them neatly inside the venue. Folio kept up a steady stream of commentary, half of it teasing, the other half genuinely amusing.
“So, what’s the over-under on Matt cracking a joke about us by the end of the day?” he asked, his voice light as he hefted another box onto his shoulder.
You groaned. “Oh, you know he’s already planning something. He’s probably got a list of new nicknames he’s ready to test out.”
“Hmm.” Folio grinned. “Let’s see... power couple? Dynamic duo? The will-they-won’t-they wonders of the merch table?”
You threw a crumpled piece of cardboard at him. “You’re not helping.”
“I’m carrying this box, aren’t I?” He raised an eyebrow as he set it down inside. “Besides, you secretly love the attention.”
“Do not!” you shot back, though your flushed cheeks probably betrayed you.
A loud voice boomed from across the venue. “Hey, lovebirds! Quit flirting and get a move on!”
Matt stood by the stage, clipboard in hand, grinning like he’d just caught you red-handed. You rolled your eyes but couldn’t stop the embarrassed laugh that bubbled out.
“Flirting?” Folio called back. “We’re way past flirting, man. We’re at the full rom-com montage stage.”
You smacked his arm, but he only laughed.
Once the last box was inside, you plopped down on a nearby stool, wiping your forehead with the back of your hand. Folio sat on the edge of the table, spinning a drumstick between his fingers like he always did when he was killing time.
“You know,” he said, his tone softer now, “it’s kinda nice, starting the tour like this. Feels... normal.”
You glanced at him, surprised by the sudden sincerity in his voice. “Yeah,” you admitted. “It’s always a little chaotic, but once we’re on the road, it’s home.”
“Exactly.” He nodded, his eyes meeting yours for a moment that felt longer than it should have.
Before you could overthink it, a voice called from the stage.
“Folio! Soundcheck!”
He sighed dramatically, hopping off the table. “Duty calls. Don’t miss me too much, princess.”
You rolled your eyes, but the smile lingered long after he walked away.
You leaned against the counter, scanning the thinning crowd. The fans had been relentless for the past hour, snatching up shirts, hoodies, and posters like their lives depended on it. You loved their energy—it was infectious—but you were grateful for the lull. Charles, your ever-reliable co-worker, waved you off with a grin.
“Take a break, would ya? I’ve got this,” he said, gesturing to the mostly empty merch table.
“You sure?” you asked, already halfway out of your seat.
“Positive. Go do whatever it is you do when you’re not folding shirts.”
You didn’t need to be told twice. A break meant one thing—watching your favorite boys perform.
Weaving your way backstage, the familiar hum of the arena filled your ears. The opening act had wrapped up, and the crowd was buzzing with anticipation. You slipped past crew members and equipment until you found your spot at the side of the stage.
The lights dimmed, and the roar of the crowd was deafening. One by one, the band members took their places. Noah’s voice echoed through the arena as the band launched into “Concrete Jungle.” You couldn’t help but grin, the energy of the performance pulling you in.
It wasn’t long before Folio spotted you. He was mid-drumbeat when his eyes found yours, and even in the dim lighting, you could see the smirk spreading across his face. A few songs later, Jolly, Nicholas, and Noah caught sight of you. Each of them gave you a smile or a nod, their way of saying “Glad you’re here.”
As “Like a Villain” came to an end, Folio set his sticks down, stood up, and made his way toward you. You raised an eyebrow, folding your arms as he approached.
“What are you doing here?” he asked with a big smirk, his voice loud enough to carry over the residual cheers from the crowd.
“I could ask you the same thing,” you teased, smirking. “You’re supposed to be on stage.”
Folio held up a joint, the corner of his mouth curling into a mischievous grin. “Just went to get this. Wanna join?”
You laughed, shaking your head. “After the show, bad guy. I still have to sell your clothes when the show’s over.”
“Fair enough,” he said, chuckling.
“Now go back on stage before Matt gets mad at us again.”
“Fine, fine.” He stepped closer, his voice dropping slightly. “But don’t go anywhere. I want to see you after the set.”
“Go!” you urged, lightly pushing him back toward the stage.
He winked before turning back to his kit, and you shook your head, unable to stop the smile spreading across your face.
As Folio settled in and the band kicked off “Just Pretend,” you stayed in your corner, watching as they owned the stage. This wasn’t just a band to you—it was family. And moments like these reminded you why you loved being part of this chaotic, beautiful circus.
As the final chords of "Dethrone" rang out and the crowd’s cheers shook the arena, you knew it was your cue to head back to the merch stand. You waved at Folio as you turned to leave, catching the quick nod and grin he sent your way before he launched into the final encore.
By the time you reached the merch table, fans were already gathering, ready to grab their last-minute souvenirs. For the next hour and a half, it was non-stop chaos. Hoodies, shirts, posters, and CDs flew off the table as you and Charles scrambled to keep up. Your legs ached, and your throat was dry from shouting over the noise, but the fans’ excitement was contagious, keeping you going.
Finally, as the crowd thinned out and the arena began to empty, you leaned against the counter, letting out a sigh of relief.
“I’m officially dead,” you muttered to Charles, who nodded in agreement.
“Good thing we’re done,” he said, motioning toward the approaching group.
You looked up to see the band and Matt making their way toward you, still buzzing from the performance. Noah was the first to speak.
“Let us help so we can go back to the hotel,” he said, his voice firm but friendly.
You and Charles exchanged a look and nodded instantly. With the band’s help, the merch boxes were packed up and loaded into the vans in record time. Nicholas and Jolly cracked jokes the entire time, while Matt barked playful orders, pretending to be the bossier version of himself.
As you finished securing the last box, Folio sidled up to you, bumping your shoulder lightly. “You good, princess?” he asked, his voice softer than the usual teasing tone.
“Exhausted,” you admitted, stretching your arms.
“You worked hard tonight,” he said, his hand brushing yours briefly as he handed you your water bottle.
You gave him a small smile. “Thanks. You weren’t too bad up there yourself, rockstar.”
He smirked, leaning a little closer. “Just trying to impress the merch girl.”
You rolled your eyes, though your cheeks warmed.
The ride back to the hotel was filled with laughter and a collective sense of relief. Noah and Jolly argued about the setlist for the next show while Nicholas played a playlist of ‘90s throwbacks' that had everyone groaning and singing along in equal measure. Folio, however, stayed close to you, his shoulder brushing yours more often than usual as he made small comments that only you could hear.
You chalked up his extra touchiness to the joint he’d smoked earlier.
When the vans pulled up to the hotel, you gathered your things and headed toward the lobby, ready to collapse into your bed. But just as you reached the doors, you felt Folio’s hand wrap around yours, tugging you to the side.
“Where are you—” you began, but he cut you off with a smirk as he held up the remaining joint.
“Forgot already, huh?”
Your eyes widened, and you let out a laugh. “No—yeah, I’m sorry. I guess I got a little distracted.”
“Lucky for you, I’m a patient guy,” he said, his grin turning playful as he motioned for you to follow him.
The two of you found a quiet corner behind the hotel, the cool night air a welcome contrast to the heat and chaos of the evening. Folio lit the joint, taking a slow drag before passing it to you.
“Better now?” he asked, watching you as you exhaled.
“Much better,” you said with a chuckle, leaning against the wall beside him.
The shared silence was comfortable, punctuated by the distant hum of city noise and the occasional flicker of streetlights. You couldn’t help but glance at him, the soft glow of the joint casting shadows on his face, making his smirk look even more mischievous.
“You’re staring,” he said without looking at you.
“Am not,” you retorted, taking another drag to hide your embarrassment.
“Sure, princess,” he teased, his voice low. “Whatever you say.”
The cool night air was laced with the faint aroma of the joint, and by now, you could feel the haze settling over you. It made everything softer—your laughter, the buzz of distant cars, and especially Folio’s voice as he leaned against the wall next to you, his shoulder almost touching yours.
“You’re quiet,” he teased, exhaling a slow stream of smoke into the night. His eyes flicked to yours, glinting with mischief. “What’s going on in that pretty head of yours?”
“Pretty head?” you repeated, laughing softly. “Bold words coming from someone who calls me ‘princess’ every five minutes.”
“It suits you,” he said with a shrug, passing the joint back to you. His fingers brushed yours intentionally, lingering just long enough to make your heart skip. “I mean, you’ve got that whole ‘effortlessly cool’ thing going on. Own it.”
You rolled your eyes, but the compliment had you smiling. “Effortlessly cool? Says the guy who’s literally a rockstar.”
He tilted his head, smirking. “Okay, but you make folding t-shirts look like an art form. I’d trade the drum kit for that any day.”
“You’re full of it,” you said, taking a drag before handing the joint back.
“Maybe,” he admitted, leaning a little closer. “Or maybe I’m just saying what I’ve been thinking for a while now.”
The way he looked at you—like you were the only thing in the world worth paying attention to—sent a shiver down your spine. You blamed it on the weed, the atmosphere, anything but the way your chest fluttered under his gaze.
“You’ve been thinking about me?” you asked, your voice light but laced with curiosity.
“More than you’d believe,” he said, his smirk softening into something more genuine. “It’s hard not to when you’re always around, being all... you.”
“All me?” you echoed, raising an eyebrow.
He chuckled, shaking his head. “You know exactly what I mean. You’re smart, funny, and you keep all of us from falling apart on tour. Not to mention you’re... well, beautiful.”
The word hung in the air between you, and for a moment, you didn’t know what to say.
“Are you sure you’re not just high?” you joked, though your voice was quieter now.
“High enough to say it,” he replied, his tone dropping slightly, “but not high enough to mean it any less.”
The boldness of his words caught you off guard, and before you could respond, he reached out, gently tucking a stray strand of hair behind your ear. His fingers lingered against your cheek, and your breath hitched.
“Folio...” you began, but your voice trailed off when his eyes flicked to your lips.
“Tell me to stop,” he murmured, leaning in closer. “And I will.”
You didn’t.
His lips met yours softly at first, like he was testing the waters. Your eyes fluttered shut, and for a split second, the world around you disappeared. When the initial shock wore off, you kissed him back, your fingers gripping the front of his hoodie as the kiss deepened.
It wasn’t gentle anymore. It was heated, almost desperate, and you didn’t realize how much you’d wanted this until it was happening. Folio’s hands slid to your waist, pulling you closer as his lips moved against yours with a hunger that matched your own.
When you finally pulled away, breathless and dazed, his forehead rested against yours.
“Wanna continue in my room?” he asked, his voice low and rough, sending a thrill through you.
You swallowed hard, your heart pounding as you looked into his eyes.
You nodded, your voice barely above a whisper. “Yeah, sounds good.”
Folio’s smirk widened into a grin that made your knees feel weak. “Let’s go then,” he said, taking your hand in his. His touch was warm and steady, grounding you despite the butterflies swarming in your chest.
The two of you walked back into the hotel lobby, the quiet hum of the night contrasting sharply with the storm of emotions building between you. You avoided the curious glances from a few straggling crew members, focusing instead on the warmth of Folio’s hand as it wrapped securely around yours.
When you stepped into the elevator, the tension in the small space was palpable. The doors had barely closed before Folio turned toward you, his free hand sliding to your waist as he pushed you gently against the wall.
“Couldn’t wait, huh?” you teased breathlessly, though your heart was racing.
“Not even a little,” he murmured, his voice low and rough. His lips crashed into yours, and this time there was no hesitation. His kiss was demanding, full of need, and you melted into him, gripping the front of his shirt to steady yourself.
His hands explored your sides, fingers pressing into your skin as if he was afraid to let go. Every thought slipped from your mind, replaced by the feeling of him—his lips, his hands, the way his body pressed into yours.
The ding of the elevator snapped you both back to reality. You pulled away just enough to catch your breath, your cheeks flushed as you glanced at the now-open doors.
“Saved by the bell,” you said, trying to steady your voice.
Folio chuckled, his forehead resting against yours for a brief moment. “Not for long.”
Taking your hand again, he led you down the hallway, his pace quick and purposeful. You couldn’t help but laugh softly at his urgency, but there was no denying the anticipation bubbling in your chest.
When you reached his room, Folio fumbled with the key card for a second before pushing the door open. Before you could take in your surroundings, your back was against the wall again, his lips finding yours like he couldn’t bear to stop.
He pulled away just enough to search your eyes, his breath mingling with yours. “You sure, princess?” he asked, his voice softer now, laced with something almost vulnerable.
You nodded, your hand brushing his cheek. “100%.”
That was all he needed to hear.
With a grin, he slipped his hands around your thighs and lifted you effortlessly, carrying you toward the bed. You wrapped your arms around his neck, your laughter mingling with his as the tension between you both gave way to something deeper, more intimate.
The two of you were completely lost in each other. Time seemed to blur as you made out, lips moving together in perfect rhythm. His hands roamed your body with a mix of confidence and care, tracing the curve of your waist, the line of your back, like he was trying to memorize every inch of you.
Folio’s kisses weren’t just passionate—they were consuming. Every time he pulled back to catch his breath, his lips found a new spot: the corner of your mouth, your jawline, the sensitive spot just beneath your ear that sent shivers down your spine.
Your fingers toyed with the hem of his hoodie, tugging gently. It wasn’t subtle, and he pulled back just enough to smirk at you, his lips already swollen. “What’s the rush, princess? I was just getting started,” he teased, his voice low and full of heat.
You rolled your eyes, though your breathless laugh betrayed you. “Less talking, more action, drummer boy.”
He chuckled, the sound rumbling deep in his chest. “As you wish.”
In one swift motion, he grabbed the hem of his hoodie and pulled it over his head, tossing it carelessly to the side. His toned chest and tattooed arms were on full display now, and you couldn’t help but let your gaze linger.
“Like what you see?” he asked, grinning when he caught you staring.
“Shut up,” you muttered, cheeks flushing, but you couldn’t hide your smirk.
Folio leaned in again, kissing you deeply as his hands found the edge of your sweater. He hesitated for a moment, his fingers brushing your skin, and then he tugged it upward, pulling it off in one fluid motion.
“Much better,” he murmured, his eyes darkening as they roamed over you. “God, you’re beautiful.”
The sincerity in his voice made your chest tighten, and for a moment, you forgot how to breathe.
“Keep saying stuff like that, and you might just get lucky,” you teased, though your voice was softer now.
His laugh was low and rich, and he kissed you again, this time with even more urgency. His hands roamed your bare skin, leaving trails of warmth wherever they touched. You weren’t sure who moved first, but soon enough, your jeans were gone, followed quickly by his.
Now in just your underwear, you could feel the heat radiating between you. Your hands explored his body, tracing the muscles of his back and shoulders as his lips trailed down your neck. You arched into his touch, a soft groan escaping your lips when his hands stroked your sides, his thumbs brushing dangerously close to the edge of your bra.
“Folio...” you whispered, your voice thick with need.
He hummed against your skin, his lips never stopping their assault. “What’s that, princess?”
“Nicky,” you groaned, using the nickname you knew would get his attention. His head snapped up, and his eyes locked onto yours. “I need you.”
Something shifted in his expression, his usual teasing demeanor replaced by something raw, almost primal. He kissed you again, harder this time, his hands gripping your hips as though he was trying to ground himself.
“You don’t know how long I’ve wanted to hear you say that,” he murmured against your lips.
Without another word, his hand slid down your side, his touch igniting every nerve in your body. When his fingers found the place where you needed him most, your gasp turned into a soft moan, and his name fell from your lips like a prayer.
Folio’s fingers explored you with a confidence that made you gasp, and the sound pulled a low groan from his lips. His forehead rested against yours, and his voice was rough, almost a whisper. “You’re so wet, Y/N,” he said, his breath hot against your skin.
You bit your lip, your face flushing as you locked eyes with him. A teasing smirk tugged at your lips, despite the haze clouding your mind. “Oh, I have been,” you admitted, your voice breathy, “since I saw you smoking that joint on stage.”
Folio groaned, the sound deep and guttural. His lips brushed against your ear as he chuckled. “You’re gonna be the death of me, princess,” he murmured, his tone full of both adoration and hunger.
His fingers worked in and out of you with a rhythm that had your back arching against the bed. Each motion sent a wave of pleasure through you, making it impossible to keep quiet. Your hands clutched the sheets beneath you, and his name spilled from your lips like a plea.
“That’s it,” he whispered, his voice dripping with encouragement. “Let go for me. I want to see you fall apart.”
And you did. Your body trembled beneath his touch as he brought you over the edge, your cries filling the room. The intensity left you breathless, your chest rising and falling as you came undone beneath him.
Folio slowed his movements, pressing soft kisses to your skin as you came down. His lips trailed lower, leaving a path of warmth and electricity in their wake. When he reached the hem of your panties, he paused, glancing up at you with a look that sent another shiver down your spine.
The silent question in his eyes was clear. You nodded, your trust in him unspoken but unwavering.
He didn’t hesitate, hooking his fingers under the waistband and pulling your panties down slowly, his eyes never leaving yours. Once they were gone, he settled between your legs, pressing a soft kiss to your inner thigh before his lips found the place where you needed him most.
The moment his tongue moved against you, your head fell back against the pillows, a shaky gasp escaping your lips. “Oh, my God, Nicky,” you moaned, your fingers tangling in his hair as he worked you expertly.
The sounds he made—the soft hums of satisfaction and the occasional groan when you pulled on his haironly heightened your pleasure. He alternated between slow, teasing strokes and firm, purposeful movements that had your hips bucking against him.
“Folio,” you whimpered, your voice barely a whisper as the tension inside you built again.
“Right here, princess,” he murmured against your skin, his words sending vibrations through you.
It didn’t take long for the pleasure to crest again, this time even more intense than the first. Your body tensed, your cries filling the room as you shattered beneath him. He didn’t stop until every last wave had subsided, his movements gentle as he helped you ride it out.
When you finally stilled, he smirked, clearly proud of himself. He rested his head on your hips, his fingers tracing lazy circles on your thigh. “You good, princess?” he asked, his voice softer now, almost tender.
You nodded, a dazed smile spreading across your lips. “Mhm. More than good,” you replied, your voice still breathless. “Come here.”
He crawled up your body, his lips meeting yours in a kiss that was slower this time but no less intense. You could taste yourself on him, and instead of shying away, you deepened the kiss, pulling him closer.
Your hands wandered down his chest, fingers tracing the lines of his muscles until they reached the waistband of his boxers. You palmed him through the fabric, feeling his arousal straining against it.
Folio groaned into your mouth, his hips jerking slightly at your touch. “Fuck, Y/N,” he muttered, breaking the kiss just enough to rest his forehead against yours. “You’re gonna drive me crazy.”
“Good,” you teased, a playful smirk tugging at your lips as your hand slipped under the waistband, wrapping around him. The warmth of his hardened length against your palm sent a thrill through you, and you stroked him slowly, savoring the way his breath hitched.
“You keep doing that,” he murmured, his voice strained, “and I’m not gonna last, princess.”
“Then don’t,” you whispered, your tone teasing yet full of want. “I want to make you feel as good as you made me feel.”
Folio’s gaze darkened, and he kissed you again, his hand sliding up your side and tangling in your hair as he lost himself in the moment. Folio’s lips were hot against your neck, his breath ragged as he kissed his way up to your ear. You pulled him closer, your legs wrapping around his waist instinctively. “Now show me how much you care about me, Folio,” you whispered, your voice soft but laced with need.
His breath hitched at your words, and he pulled back just enough to meet your gaze, his eyes dark and full of desire. “You have no idea what you do to me, princess,” he murmured before pressing a lingering kiss to your lips.
His movements were slow and deliberate as he slid his boxers down, freeing himself. You couldn’t help but glance down, and your breath caught at the sight of him. He smirked when he noticed your reaction, leaning in to kiss the corner of your mouth.
“Like what you see?” he teased, his tone playful despite the tension crackling between you.
You gave him a cheeky grin, your hands sliding up his chest. “Very.”
His laugh was low and rich, but it was cut short as he kissed you again, his lips hungry against yours. After a moment, he pulled back just slightly, his forehead resting against yours. “I’m gonna grab a condom real quick, yeah?” he said, his voice full of care despite the urgency in his movements.
You shook your head, your hands gently cradling his face. “You don’t need to,” you told him, your voice soft but steady. “I’m on the pill.”
Folio groaned, the sound deep and guttural, his lips brushing against your temple. “Fuck, okay,” he murmured, his hands gripping your hips as he positioned himself. “Tell me if you need me to stop, okay?”
You nodded, your trust in him unwavering. “I will,” you assured him, your voice barely above a whisper.
He guided himself to your entrance, sliding his length through your folds with deliberate slowness, letting you adjust to the sensation. The moment he began to sink into you, you both moaned in unison, the sound filling the room.
“God, you’re so tight, baby,” Folio groaned, his voice strained as he fought to keep his movements controlled.
You gasped, your nails digging lightly into his shoulders. “Or,” you managed to breathe out, a teasing smile tugging at your lips despite the haze in your mind. “You’re just big, Folio.”
His head dropped to your shoulder, another deep groan escaping him. “Fuck,” he muttered, his hands gripping your hips tighter as he bottomed out, staying still for a moment to let you both adjust.
“You okay?” he asked, his voice soft, his eyes searching yours for any sign of discomfort.
You nodded quickly, your legs tightening around him. “More than okay,” you murmured. “Move, Nicky.”
He didn’t need to be told twice. He pulled out slowly before slamming back into you, setting a rhythm that had you both panting and moaning in no time. Each thrust was deep and purposeful, his name falling from your lips like a mantra.
The coil in your stomach tightened with every movement, and you could feel yourself getting closer to the edge. “Folio,” you whimpered, your hands tangling in his hair as your back arched off the bed.
“I’ve got you,” he murmured, his lips pressing against your temple. “Let go for me, princess. I want to feel you.”
With one more thrust, the knot in your stomach snapped, and you cried out his name as you came undone beneath him. The sensation of your walls tightening around him pushed Folio over the edge, and he groaned deeply as he followed, spilling into you with a final, powerful thrust.
The two of you stayed like that for a moment, his body hovering over yours as you both caught your breath. His forehead rested against yours, his eyes closed as he came down from his high.
“You okay?” he asked softly, brushing a strand of hair from your face.
You smiled up at him, your fingers tracing lazy patterns on his chest. “Mhm. More than okay,” you replied, your voice still breathless.
Folio smiled, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to your lips. “Good,” he murmured. “Because I—”
A sudden knock on the door interrupted him, making you both freeze. He groaned, resting his head on your shoulder with an exaggerated sigh. “You’ve got to be kidding me.”
You couldn’t help but laugh, your fingers brushing through his hair. “Better get that, rockstar.”
Folio scrambled to pull his boxers and shirt back on, clearly flustered by the unexpected interruption. You slid beneath the covers, pulling them up to your chest and trying to contain your giggles.
He shot you a quick look before dashing over to the door, still trying to fix his disheveled hair. When he swung it open, Matt stood there, arms crossed with a smug look on his face.
“Can I help you, Matt?” Folio asked, his voice a little too casual, trying to hide the embarrassment creeping up his neck.
Matt raised an eyebrow, the corners of his mouth twitching into a smirk. “Uh, yeah, actually. I could hear you two down the hall,” he said, his tone dripping with sarcasm. “So, keep it down, yeah? I don’t know how much press there is in this hotel.”
Folio’s face turned as red as a tomato, his lips pressing into a thin line as he fought to hold back his laughter. “Fuck, okay,” he muttered, pulling his lip between his teeth and nodding quickly.
Matt leaned against the doorframe, clearly enjoying the moment. “Called it, by the way,” he added with a wink, before turning on his heels and walking away.
Folio closed the door with a soft thud and let out a long breath, his shoulders slumping in relief. You couldn’t hold it in any longer, bursting out in laughter.
“That was so embarrassing,” he said, shaking his head, but his smile was wide, the redness still lingering on his cheeks.
You snickered, sitting up on the bed, and held your arms open. “Come here, Folio,” you said, still laughing, your voice light and teasing.
Folio hesitated for a moment, but then he grinned, shaking his head. “You’re really enjoying this, huh?”
“More than you know,” you replied, winking at him. “Now get over here, my drummer boy.”
He sighed dramatically, though the playful glint in his eyes told you he wasn’t actually upset. With one last, exaggerated eye roll, he crossed the room and climbed back onto the bed beside you.
You snuggled up next to him, your head resting on his shoulder as the two of you tried to settle into a more relaxed position. “Can’t believe Matt heard everything,” you said, still chuckling quietly.
Folio wrapped his arm around you, pulling you close. “I don’t know who’s worse—Matt for hearing or me for not realizing how loud we were being.”
You smirked up at him. “I’m gonna guess Matt, since he was the one who interrupted us.”
Folio laughed softly, brushing a strand of hair out of your face. “True. But I’m blaming you, anyway,” he teased, giving you a playful squeeze. “You’re just too irresistible, princess.”
You rolled your eyes, but the smile on your face betrayed the teasing. “Uh-huh. Sure, blame me,” you replied, your voice light and playful. “I’m just the innocent bystander in all this.”
“Mm-hmm,” he murmured, leaning down to kiss the top of your head. “Innocent, my ass.”
You both laughed together, the tension from earlier melting away as you enjoyed the moment in each other’s company, no longer caring about anything else happening outside the room.

Material Boy
(This one is available on AO3)
When he’s not busy being a vigilante, Tim likes to think that he’s a pretty simple guy. He has normal, civilian friends. He's awkward when he talks to people he wants to bang. He likes skateboarding and playing Warlocks & Warriors. He dropped out of high school.
He also, like many kids of his generation, grew up collecting superhero merchandise and memorabilia.
And yes, maybe he never got out of the habit of collecting super-trinkets even after joining the vigilante game — a fact he keeps between himself and God, he can only imagine how much shit Steph and the others would give him if they knew — but it's not like he steals stuff from the heroes he knows. He just... buys things. A lot of things.
Which brings him to his current problem: the amount of merchandise created depends a lot on a hero's popularity. This means that Superman has insane amounts of merch. Wonder Woman and Batman too, to a lesser extent. In Gotham, Robin does pretty well for kids' stuff, and Nightwing has inspired more than one, uh, adult line of toys.
…But Red Hood? As tacky as brands can get with their products, they know better than to create merch of mass murdering rogues and villains, and unfortunately people aren't sure whether Red Hood qualifies a good guy. This means that Tim's haul is Very Poor when it comes to Hood. Which is an issue on account of Tim's massive crush on Jason.
How is a man supposed to pine in dignity when he can't even find a decent body pillow to warm his lonely bed? How?!
Tim obviously has to fix this problem. He has to rehabilitate Red Hood and ensure a steady supply of bling for his display cases. And shelves. And furniture. And possibly wardrobe, he's not picky.
He has to.
Which is why he ends up raving about Red Hood, his crime-fighting exploits, and his charity work on social media. He uses all of his covers' accounts and even creates a few more, enthusing people and posting praise until, finally, his amateur PR campaign snowballs.
He knows his job is done when his hashtags start trending outside of the Gotham metro area, and the first Red Hood plushie comes out of Build-A-Bear.
___________________________
Jason is bemused when he first gets wind of his rising popularity. Sure, it's nice to be appreciated and the genuine testimonials from Gothamites warm the cockles of his dead, dead heart, but where did the hype come from? And why are people trying to ask him for autographs? He's a crime lord! He's dangerous and scary, and people should definitely not feel comfortable enough to ask him for selfies!
…Oh fuck, is that it? Is someone trying to sabotage his reputation?
Disturbed, Jason reaches out to Oracle for some help with finding the person behind this heinous plan. He's not entirely sure why Babs laughs for five minutes straight after hearing his question, but she eventually tells him that the original accounts extolling his virtues belong to Red Robin's covers.
Shrugging to himself, he suits up and heads to Tim's nest. He busts in, ready to deliver the wrath of the Hood on Tim for making him look like a hero when he's a Very Mean, Very Dangerous Badass… only to find Tim eating Froot Loops out of some violently lime liquid, while wearing what looks like chibi Red Hood pajamas, complete with little cat ears over the stylized helmet.
Suffice to say, that display takes the wind out of Jason's sails. He holsters his weapons back and takes off his helmet so Tim can properly appreciate how appalled he is before speaking.
"Okay, what the fuck, Timbo?"
Tim blinks. "You wanna be a bit more specific there?"
"I wouldn't even know where to start. Just. What the fuck."
"Well, I'm having dinner?" Tim tries, shoving a spoonful of cereal in his mouth.
"Froot Loops in, what is that, cucumber juice? That's dinner?" Jason stares harder.
Tim swallows his spoonful thickly. "It's Mountain Dew, actually."
"Okay but that's worse. You get how that's worse, right?"
"Did you seriously come here to talk about my meal plans?"
"I came here to ask why you decided to ruin my street cred, and to kick your ass—" Jason winces as Tim eats another mouthful, "—but apparently you're doing a great job at hurting yourself on your own."
Tim gives him a blank look. "I ruined your street cred? How?"
"You told people I'm a hero," Jason says accusingly.
"Ah, I see what the problem is. Look, Jason, this might come as a shock to you and I understand if you need to take a minute to process this very new piece of information but… you are a hero, dumbass."
Jason seriously considers throwing his helmet at Tim but, with the state Tim is in, he's pretty sure it would feel like pouring water on a drowning man.
"I'm not the kind of hero they make jammies of! I mean, what the fuck are you even wearing?"
Tim pulls on his shirt to show off the design, perking up. "These? They're Red Catting Hood limited edition PJs. They're cute, right?"
You're cute, Jason mutters under his breath, before taking a few menacing steps forward. "They're ridiculous. I'm not a cat. And I'm definitely not cute."
"We're going to have to agree to disagree there."
Jason stares at him. "You think I'm cute?"
"No, I think you're a cat," Tim deadpans, still eating his disgusting mixture.
"I… I tried to kill you, remember?!"
"Yeah, you did. And now I have little cartoon kitties of you on my jim-jams. Life's full of curveballs, isn't it?"
Jason is pretty sure he's having a minor breakdown in Tim's kitchen. He opens and closes his mouth silently several times, confusion robbing him of his words. Tim watches him for a couple of minutes, then he stands up and shuffles closer to pat him on the back.
Jason lets out a very unmanly squeak of horror when he spots matching Red Catting Hood slippers on Tim's feet.
Tim shushes him. "Hey, it's okay, dude. I understand that you don't know how to deal with people expressing positive emotions in your direction after getting the Bruce special growing up, but it's gonna be fine. Just breathe. You'll get used to it."
Jason stares at Tim with wide eyes. Then he gently takes him by the shoulders.
"Timmers. Tim. You crazy little birdie. Telling me I'm cute, talking about emotions... Are you okay? Is this a cry for help? Talk to me."
"You ask me that now?" Tim gives him a judgmental look. "I can't believe that's where you draw the line. I mean, where's your 'Be my Robin' enthusiasm?"
"It drowned in your bowl of Mountain Dew next to the Froot Loops. No, but seriously. If I'm your last resort, then you can tell me what's wrong. No need for tacky PJs, I'll listen."
Tim's eyes narrow. "Okay, then listen to this. First of all, my PJs aren't tacky. Second, I like you, dumbass, and yeah, I think you're cute. And third, I hyped you up on social media because I wanted Red Hood merch for my collection."
Jason takes a second to let that confession wash over him. He regrets removing his helmet. He's blushing, he knows he's blushing. In fact he must have been a redhead in another life, because he must be reminiscent of a tomato at this point, and oh no. He's a grown-ass man, why is he blushing like a nerd for this incredibly sleep-deprived, adorable maniac?
"You have a collection?" he squeaks.
"Uh, yeah. I started it when I was 4." Tim raises his eyebrows. "But nevermind that, are you seriously going to leave me hanging? I just told you I like you, man."
"I don't know what to say," Jason chokes out. "This... You're—I'm not good for you."
"Sorry but the entire internet would disagree. You're a hero, remember? And I can take care of myself, thank you very much. I don't need to be patronized."
Jason gestures at Tim's dinner. "That is demonstrably false."
Tim pouts. "Well. If you were my boyfriend, you could make sure I eat properly."
"Is that what you want? To be my b—" Jason's voice breaks. He swallows before trying again. "To be my boyfriend?"
"I mean, yeah?" Tim shrugs. "That's not why I hyped you up, I'm not kidding about the merch thing. But. Yeah. That would be… Good. Nice."
"Oh."
"Is that something you'd like too?"
Jason licks his lips. "Yeah, I—I think so. Yeah. There's just one thing though..."
Hope sparkles in Tim's eyes. "What?"
"It's just... I can't let people think you like me more than I like you."
"What does that mean?"
"It means—" Jason tugs on the fabric of Tim's PJs, "—that for every Red Hood item you own, you have to get me some matching Red Robin merch."
Tim grins a wide, bright, genuine smile that almost offsets the deep purple bruising under his tired eyes. "It's a deal."

You’ve been unusually chipper around the house for the last week or so. Not that he’s complaining; he’ll take any opportunity he can to see his little birdie smiling. As long as you’re happy he won’t ever complain about it.
But he can’t help wondering just what makes you happy, and he finally gets his answer when you nearly topple over him in a rush to get to the door. You’re squealing when you see a package on your doorstep, fingers trembling as you haul it to the kitchen table and tear into the box, leaving scraps of paper and tape strewn across the surface.
Keigo’s eyes are trained on yours, the way your hands dive into the box, how your eyes lights up when you finally pull the contents out.
And it’s...him.
A plushie version. An actual stuffed toy of his hero self, about the same height as the palm of his hand. Complete with windswept blond hair, a dazzling smile, and two red wings stitched on the back.
“Aww, birdie, you shouldn’t have.” He’s quick to swoop you into his arms, large wings curling around your sides as he tugs you into his chest. Cocooning the two of you from the rest of the world. “A little plushie? I’m honored—nowhere near as good-looking as the real thing, but it’s still cute!”
You look so cute all flustered, voice stuttering in your throat, heart fluttering against his palm as you clutch the silly toy closer to your chest. You glance down at it, at its cute golden eyes and sunny smile, and your eyes begin to soften.
“...You don’t think it’s weird or anything, do you?” J
“Nah, not really! Although, I do wanna know why you’d choose to get this little guy,” he flicks a strand of the plushie’s golden hair, laughing out loud when you cradle it protectively against your body, “when you’ve already got this handsome devil in your bed every night.”
You swallow hard, leaning into the warmth of his chest, snuggling into him when he secures his arms (and wings) around your body. He leans in close when you finally speak, eager to hear every word you have to say.
“It’s just...for those nights when you’re not here... And I’m not blaming you or anything, I know you have your job and all your hero duties! I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with that. I know you have to stay out pretty late sometimes, and you can’t always make it back home and that's totally fine—”
Your cheeks are burning, heart lodged deep in your throat, your hands squeezing around the plushie pressed against your chest. Keigo remains silent, and for a moment you wonder if you've said the wrong thing.
If he suddenly thinks less of you for getting such a stupid toy in the first place.
“...I know, it’s a stupid reason. Go ahead, you can make fun of me. I won't be—mmph!”
You yelp out when he spins you in his arms, his hands warm against the small of your back, the silly toy pressed between your chests. He leans in for a kiss, soft and sweet, his red wings curling around your body. You've always loved how safe and protected they make you feel; you know nothing can hurt you, as long as your in his arms (and wings).
“I don't think it’s stupid at all, birdie.” Another kiss on your lips, before moving up to your forehead. “In fact, I think it’s adorable! Nice to know you love me so much to buy my merch,” he adds with a wink, and your face heats up when you remember the little ensemble of merch hidden away in your bedroom. Shirts, magazines, even a couple of action figures you found at a reasonable price. Oh, and don’t forget the poster you had before you even met him—the same one he oh-so generously signed for you once you started dating.
And now this damn plushie, that’s still smiling up at you as you hold it to your chest.
But if he’s being honest, Keigo feels his shoulders sag just a bit, seeing you cuddle up to such a small toy. He can’t always be there to protect you, to hold you on those lonely nights, to give you the comfort you so desperately crave. But if you’re able to get it from this little replica of his hero self, he can feel a little better about those late night missions and dangerous rescues. As long as he knows you’re fast asleep at home, safe and sound with your arms around this little plushie.
Oh, and as long as you don’t start to love that plushie more than you love him.

Figure Friday ☆— 1 : most beloved
after a bit of deliberation, i decided… you know what sure yeah this could be fun :3c as i warned, this is under a readmore because it’s lengthy. i love talking!!
so hiii, welcome to the first installment of FIGURE FRIDAY!!!! i made a logo for it and everything. do i look stupid yet.
there was a lot of thinking to be done after deciding to pursue this! i didn’t want the first post to be “here’s this figure. anyways” but i also didn’t want it to be overwhelming, like encapsulating an entire type of figure i collect or the most expensive or whatever else. instead, i wanted the first FF to be the most sentimental ♡
which… i guess can be overwhelming in its own way? regardless. today we talk about a figure i threw far too much money at when i was just starting to get serious about collecting! at the time i worked a kind of horrible part-time job, where they only gave me two 6-hour shifts a week at $11/hr… i made nothing, so deciding to buy this was kind of painful.
maybe it was stupid of me?
i don’t think so!!!!
i had been into DBD for a while by the time i thought to check if any merch existed at risk of doing damage to my already withered bank acc. back then, Kotobukiya was a fairly unfamiliar brand to me, which feels insane to say now. i ended up on amazon of all places, and found myself staring in awe at a preorder page for my favorite character: the hillbilly!
in general, you should not. ever. buy stuff like this from amazon. if you can avoid doing so. it is exceptionally easy to get scammed, or sent something defective, or for the product to get damaged :[
but i didn’t know then what i know now. looking back, i was very lucky that this guy came in unharmed. i remember feeling so excited to get him!! he was shipped out VERY late, and many times i considered just cancelling my preorder… i’m still very glad i didn’t! in my opinion, this static fig is perfect. just look at him!!
the details. oh my god. are you serious. ARE YOU S
another hillbilly has been released since; it’s the Gecco version. but… i mean, i recognize that Gecco’s is a bit more technically impressive and closer to the in-game model, but i really think there’s no comparison. Koto’s is so much more lively and dynamic!! though i do admit I’d like to someday have Gecco’s, the price is incredibly steep and he just doesn’t look as engaging… that will be for if i ever get a great job and money. prayers…
Koto is well-known for their detail in their products, not only in terms of paint and texture, but also posing and general vibe! i think the artists, Masato Ohata and Norifumi Dohi, did incredibly well with portraying my beloved :3c
he isn’t just standing there—he’s lurching forward, both weapons in tow, focus set sideways even when facing forward. maybe he’s spotted a survivor? his awkward gait is evident, but that doesn’t take away from how intimidating he is. there’s a fullness to his shape that i adore: his legs are sculpted perfectly, emphasizing both the strength to carry himself forward and his height, his midsection + shoulders are a bit broad, and there’s a hint of muscle to his arms. this all gives him such a wonderful presence! he’s there in a way that a lot of figures simply are not. even his back is fucked up in the best (and most accurate) way. lord.
enough can’t be said about the detail, honestly. all the “metal” components are painted to be shiny without being overwhelming, allowing for an overall kind of dingy feel. the inclusion of a little blood also adds a lot! his shirt itself has a realistic fabric texture, which i’ve always considered to be a really neat addition, especially in a tactile sense!
literally nothing is left out with this guy!! they even included the rope around his hips from when he was tied up by his parents. agonizing to see. i adore it. his base is really neat, too! it looks like he’s just broken down a suspiciously mono-colored pallet… or is just having to haul over some pesky debris lolol
i love him. my only complaint is that the painting of his face isn’t the greatest ever. his model has a sort of permanent shadow around his eyes because they’re covered up partially by his flesh. i would’ve liked to see that more prominently… he’s still gorgeous of course but maybe i’m just picky about my killer wife. like,
idk the fig looks better in darker environments im just insane …..
whenever i draw max, i have a habit of glancing over to this figure. were i braver, i think the chainsaw would be a great reference! you can remove both his chainsaw and hammer, so if you’re crazy about this guy like i am and willing to spend some, it can be a convenient resource! i’m just scared to mess with it much ;—; he’s very sturdy, but the piece used to secure his chainsaw is. small. scary. i also distinctly remember having to push a little hard to get his hammer in place and that was horrifying thanks kotobukiya .
i just think he’s great to look at. when i can’t rotate him in my hands, i’m frequently rotating him in my mind. THE figure of all time. This Is The One.
if you’re into the trapper or the wraith, Koto made figures for those two as well! though i think max looks the best out of all of them, i may be biased. oh here’s his mfc page, too
okay, i’ll stop rambling now! i hope this wasn’t too boring to read through if you chose to do so, and if you just wanted to see some pretty pictures, i hope my kinda shitty phone camera did this piece of art enough justice. he looks better in person!! ;—;
thank you again for your time! feel free to leave suggestions about what to show next or like. formatting. i might start doing bullet points for price/materials/year released but idkkkk ahhh bye

have gained a following on here that is kinda completely separate from my main blog so i thought it would be fun to do a little mod intro post. if you think this is corny erm ignore it LOL.
elvis release summer -> dune/mota release winter <3
i'm in law school- currently my first year!!! i don't say where for um op sec reasons (real reason: my main blog has made me a lot of very oddly intense enemies, somehow, and ive gotten both doxxing and swatting threats to the extent there's a paper trail with my school LMFAO)- but it's in the midwest. yeehaw baby.
i'm doing an international law study abroad trip this summer and am very excited! watching mota made me even more excited in that a few places we'll be going came up during the show.
i don't think this is new info LOL but i found mota through being a massive austin butler fan. my main blog @bcofl0ve, doxxing threats and all, is my baby and a labor of love for austin that i started after i saw elvis in 2022. he means the world to me and with all the shit he gets online seeing so many mota/hbo war fans be so receptive of him has been really great!
re: that ^ i have a post on my main blog that's essentially a master post for new austin fans if that's something you're interested in! has where to watch everything he's ever been in, my favorite interviews, some fun facts and more. check it out here <3
i also became a massive elvis presley fan through the biopic- to the extent that my 'big' christmas present this past year was an estate sale haul of a deceased woman's elvis merch from the 60s-the 90s. i have a tattoo for him and his daughter lisa on my arm- that i got last year as a memorial thing. her passing last jan. was the hardest ive ever been hit by a celebrity death and it still upsets me to think about for too long.
and lastly bc i do get this sometimes- if i seem vaguely familiar and you follow the guy specialbooksbyspecialkids- ding ding ding, i was on there in 2018 talking about my stutter and my interview blew up a smidgen more than his videos typically do. ive been recognized from it *in public* by strangers which is wild to me but chris is a sweetie and i can't say enough kind things about him.
that's it about me i think- but if y'all want to share any fun facts about yourselves pls feel free to reply!!!

So I've neglected you guys long enough! Time to solve this and present some of my latest finds 😘
So I bought a bunch of things during my last haul, with birthday money and "we underpaid you for 4 months so here's the catch up money" payment from my salary.
A few of these things are late 80s to early 90s underlays (they're hard plastic B5 sized images with two sides).
The most recent one is the Path to Power one, obviously. You may recognize a ton of famous images (including a bunch by Furusawa), well, these are likely the initial merch for which these images were produced to begin with.
As for the path to power one, this is the back cover. How do we love uncommon transcription of character names!! (Kame Sennin is Turtle Hermit, so Roshi, Woolong is oolong, Hatchan is the Japanese name for Eighter (Hachi means 8), and Pooal is Puar!
Anyway all of these are B5 sized (that's a little smaller than US letter and about the size of a traditional comic for those of you using freedom units). I got a few of them from a bulk listing so I'll resell those I don't care for and some duplicates.
But I also got one that's B3 sized. It's MASSIVE. Regular A4 sheet for scale. This one is extremely rare and mine is somehow still in its original wrapping with the Toei sticker. It was never opened (sticky opening is untouched). I love it! I have no idea what I'll do with it but damn it's so good and the colors are beautiful.

Chapter 8
About mid-way though the concert, things had finally slowed down at the merch stand, and jules finally had the chance to step away to watch some of the set. Before she left she turned to the other volunteers and asked "Everything ok here with you guys, would it be ok if I stepped out for a bit?". They smile and nodded their heads, she quickly makes her way from the lobby to the main theater.
She walked over to mark who walked her past the barricade and off to the right, where the bands photographer and Jaime were standing, "You may want these" mark said, handling her a pair of earplugs, "Thank you" she responded and put them in.
Matty was currently talking about the record and some of the memories he had while working on it, so it had quieted down to just him and a few fans screaming 'I love yous' occasionally.
As matty was walking up and down the stage he spotted jules in the corner, they pair made eye contact and she sent him a small wave. He smiled widely in her direction and winked , "Ok everyone this next song is one of my personal favorites and its a dancing song so I better see everyone up on their feet dancing"' he speaks into the mic, then george starts the song. The familiar intro to If you're too shy (let me know) begins, Jules screams in delight and moves a bit closer to the stage.
When it gets to the chorus, jules jumps up and down dancing and singing along to the song. Matty looked over at the girl and smiled, he knew she would be happy they played this song, as he knew it was one of her favorites.
Eventually the song ended and the familiar tune of 'Fallingforyou' starts, Matty made his way over to the side she was standing at and looked to her as he sang. Jules's heart beat spead up, 'does this mean he's falling for me, what a way to be told getting serenaded by him' she thought, not breaking eye contact with him . And when the iconic line came up he bent down closer, trying to get even closer to her 'I dont wanna be your friend I wanna kiss your neck' he sang and sent a wink in her direction, before standing back up and walking away. 'When he said he have me on my knees tonight, he wasn't joking, god the things I'm going to do to him when we're alone" Jules thought, as she watched him finish the song.
Jules was able to watch the rest of the show, but as soon as they announced their last song, she unfortunately had to make her way back to the lobby. She walked slowly out of the theater, trying to catch every second of the song, 'Sex', she was bummed she couldn't stay for the whole song, but knew she'd have a chance in the future to see it. She took one last look at the stage, and quickly slipped out the door, and back to the merch table.
Soon the music came to an end and the theater doors burst open revealing the hoards of fans walking in her direction. The merch stand was busy for the next hour, then finally around 9:30 the crowd had died down and jules and the volunteers started packing up. It took them a little under an hour to put everything back in the boxes and haul it to the truck that was parked out back.
Jules grabbed the last of her stuff and made her way backstage, hoping that the band hadn't left yet. As she was walking to the green room, a hand quickly grabbed her wrist and pulled her into a small dressing room. "Hello there" Matty said, a large grinn plastered on his face, he had been waiting patiently for her to be done, so he could get her alone.
Jules chuckled when she heard his voice, "You nearly gave me a heart attack, let alone could've broke my wrist healy" she responded, Matty frowned "I'm sorry darling, here will this help" he said, then kissed her. Jules smiled "Yeah, I forgive you now" she giggles. "Where are we by the way" she asked, looking around the small room, "It's an old dressing room I found when i was exploring, I knew I couldn't wait till the hotel, so I wanted to find somewhere private to take you" he said, squeezing her hips softly and pulling her even closer. "Oh is that so, well glad we are on the same page then healy" she said, wrapping her hands around his neck and connecting their lips.
Jules P.O.V ( sorry i can only write smut in first person POV 😭)
The kiss was hot, his hands roamed up and down my back, I could feel him growing harder againset my thigh. He said he'd have me on my knees tonight and i fully intended on fulfilling that.
I unhooked my arms from around his neck and ran my hands down his chest until I got to his belt, my hands slowly undoing it and throwing it somewhere in the room. I gave him on last kiss and slowly sunk to my knees. I could see his eyes go wide, "You know you don't have to do this" matty said, cupping my cheek. I leaned into his touch and looked back up at him " you said you'd have me on my knees and well here I am, I want to matty" I said, slowly unbuttoning his slacks and pulling them down to his ankles.
"You're a sight to see julie, on your knees for me I could cum just looking at you” he said running a hand through my hair.
To say I was nervous was an understatement, i had never done this before and I wanted to make sure he felt good, he made me feel good last night and took care of me, so this is my thank you to him.
I give him one last look as I slowly pull down his boxers freeing him, i take him into my hand and squeeze gently. He throws his head back, emitting a low moan "Fuck" he mumbles, " I slowly move my hand up and down, before I wrapped my mouth around the tip, sucking lightly. Matty ran his hand through my hair holding it back, and with that I slowly start moving my mouth lower and lower until he hit the back of my throat.
Matty moaned at my new action, which caused me to slowly bob my head back and forth, getting into a steady rythm, i found myself getting more turned on everytime he let out a soft moan. I kept moving my head making sure to pay attention to the tip, as my friend had told me that that was the way to give the best head, I hadn't believed her until now when everytime I would move my mouth there he would let out a louder moan.
I could feel his stare on me, so I looked up, making eye contact with him as I continued to take him in my mouth, "God you're so beautiful " he whispered. I could feel him starting to twitch in my mouth, which i could tell was a sign he was about to finish. He thrusted his hips forward as he came into my mouth, I quickly swallowed and pulled away from him.
I slowly stood back up, after I had put his boxers and slacks back on. He leaned forward pulling me into a passionate kiss, "You're amazing, that was one of the best blowjobs I've ever had" he said, smirking at me. " I'm glad" I grinned, giving him one last kiss. "How about you darling? I want to give you something in return" he said, placing his hands on my hips. "You can repay me at the hotel matty" I smiled.
End of Jules POV
After a few more stolen kiss, the two made their way out of the dressing room hand in hand. "By the way matty I'm falling for you too" she said, referring to earlier when he had sung that song to her during the concert.
" I added that song just for you, I meant it jules I really like you, these past couple months have been amazing getting to know eachother" he said, kissing her on the cheek.
Ever since that fateful day in the elevator the two had felt a connetion, when Jules would stop by the rehearsal room she would always make sure to say hi and wave to him, all that had led them to where they are now, they knew the feelings came on fast, but they felt an undeniable bond, almost like the universe was telling them something.
" you're sweet matty, I feel the same way, and I can't wait to see what the rest of tour has store for us" she said, as they approached the doors to the outside. They knew the rest of the band had headed back to the bus, as george had texted matty that they were waiting for him.
" Now I'm gonna let you know there's going to be fans out there, so i may have to break off to say hi to a few of them, is that ok?" matty asked, "Of course! I think it's sweet that you do that, I should probably head to back to the bus, I got a text from jaime asking to talk to me" jules responded and placed one last kiss on his lips, then made her way outside, where she was greeted by mark who escorted her to the bus.

Those books were from the most recent merch haul my wife decided to pick up.
Sorry for the bad pic, I'll be sure to get you guys some better coverage of everything.
These little charms are super cute though, the fact my wife got me a Morrighan charm for success is adorable to me.
If you're curious the Korean on them roughly reads "Prayer for success"
I love this woman so much.

broadway flea!
was planning on going into the city & meeting a friend @ the flea the other week and then also ended up winning the Some Like it Hot lottery! I didn’t purchase anything crazy and ended up passing up on some v cheap Leopoldstadt props because they just seemed impractical to own offstage (an e-cigar and prop newspapers printed in Polish I believe? Very cool but I was really on the hunt for general merch).
Anyway, it was a nice day and my first time at the flea- always very cool being surrounded by people who like the same sort of things you do & love supporting the arts. Some Like It Hot was fantastic, although we snuck way forward in our mezzanine seats because capacity was LACKING. Such a shame it’s closing because this is the kind of show that deserves to have a long & happy life on Broadway for the choreography and sheer talent alone :// still thinking about random holes in the book but also got my mini Jack Lemmon DVD haul when I got home that night (Jack Lemmon you will always be famous) and will have to consult w/ the OG film. Smh if someone did Promises, Promises this season and SLH wasn’t closing before Days of Wine and Roses opens the Jack Lemmon musical universe we could’ve witnessed… anyway!
Below are the bad pictures I took of my haul. You would also impulse buy bdj paraphernalia if you saw “vintage” playbills for $1. I’ve been meaning to read Harvey’s memoir since it came out and someone had it at a table for like 5 bucks. Realized Harvey was oh,,, feet away in one of the autograph areas all day later as I was walking around with his book and a torch song playbill only a few days later,, it was a screaming-into-my-pillow revelation. Not like I’d approach him, but!!
I am enjoying the book though! It’s getting me out of a terrible reading slump. Irl I only have a general idea of his work, so it’s been a great dive into the industry at the time he came up (he was in a production of a play Andy Warhol did?) and the craft and culture. Anyway anyway, always good to get into Manhattan and pretend I’m part of it all & not working two jobs with annoying hours that regulate me to being a strictly Sunday matinee attendee where I write my bad play in my free time. Ah well! I’d like to make posts that aren’t terrible in the future too- but who has the time!
Had a free Sunday last weekend and was like boy I wish She Came to Me was playing in a slightly closer theater because I don’t wanna go into Manhattan for it unless something is going on,,, and when I tell you that night as I was trying to go to sleep I saw that the writer/director and bdj were at a screening that had a q&a afterwards,,, bummer to say the least!! truly every win I have is followed by comical losses because I’ve been loving Title of Show recently and was thrilled (and saddened) that there was like a box full of sealed CDs from their Broadway run at the flea. The next day I went to put it into my car player that houses some other cast albums and,,, it didn’t get eaten but it won’t go in :// I’ve got things playing now on it now, but the 3 cds in my car are not ejecting… cursed to live in a 2003 SUV!!
My little haul, complete w/ cursed bdj in my bag on the train, Jack Lemmon classics not readily avail on streaming (woohoo physical media!). I will have a different strategy next time but also the price u pay liking random, smaller shows! Although the guy at the Dancers Over 40 table who had me looking in the binder with vintage playbills from the ‘60s for Titanic,, it’s not that old!!! Please, that would make me about that old! I promise u it’s not! Also my OG seat vs the one I snappes during intermission after we moved up. We were like the 10th people to do so but I was scared the usher was going to murder us in cold blood. (She didn’t). Not pictured is the other part of the order which came the other day, the Sweet Smell of Success & short stories book I got too. the intersection Musical theatre and classic films,, maybe I am having a hyper-fixation!!

i am also super unartistic (i can make a mediocre journal spread but that’s it) but sometimes it’s more about the creating, you know? i totally get what you mean though! i will have to look at this book you didn’t not purchase, i have not heard of it before!! and can i get a non-existent book haul if you don’t mind? 🥺
that doesn’t sound terrible for merch! (that statement was said BEFORE i looked up the aud equivalent. why does everything cost $100 for me 😭😭😭) i heard about this heatwave you guys are having!! it must be so awful. you’ll be out of summer soon!! (but then i leave winter and i am going to cry about it) but it sounds like you had a nice time!! and he sang a special song for you guys?! italy is truly one direction’s favourite country 😌😌
i’m surprised it is a painful spot, i would have thought it would not be because it’s not directly on the bone? anyways, i sat perfectly according to my tattoo artist and she was lovely. i’ll try and book to see her again in the uni break! i need to finish my reread of rwrb to find more tattoo ideas because i’m kinda considering a half sleeve for henry?? or at least a huge piece for him, i just don’t know what
these troubling times call for very very gay coping mechanisms
ohh cece 🥺🥺🥺 when i tell you i gasped and did a little happy dance on my bed, i mean that so sincerely! i’m so happy i inspired you a little!! 🥹🥹🥹 i think that made my whole year! as for prices, it might be a strain on the pockets, but just think, would you rather live with the regret of not doing it or be living slightly uncomfortably?
my hunt was also unsuccessful, i am going to have a bitch fit. regardless, i am bringing cornettos and popcorn to our blanket fort <33333
hello nero my beloved soulmate!!!
i have pride stories!!! i went to pride this saturday and it was so much fun i need to tell you all about it!!!
well first of all i really hate that i had to work in the morning because it made me so tired and it was the first weekend of sales so yea, not fun. but anyway, my friend picked me up at 3pm and we got to florence. we had to park pretty far from the meeting point and then take a bus, and it was amazing because we were totally lost looking for that bus and at some point we see a bus full of people with rainbow flags, glitter, signs, flower crowns, rainbow stickers and temporary tattoos and all of that. and we just went in, no questions asked. we just figured we’d follow them out of the bus too 😂 i love our people honestly. we were so colorful
anyway we got to the meeting point and it was deadly hot. i swear there were like 45 degrees. but it was so amazing to be around all of those people dressed in all colors and wearing all sorts of things we’d usually be judged for, it felt so safe. except that there was a religious protestor so we got to give him the finger like the heartstopper cast did :)
also my sister came with me. she’s always so supportive and it meant the world that she came with me. anyway the parade started and there were some amazing floats. there were rainbow families, drag queens, all the lgbtqia+ associations from our territory and we started walking behind this float that had amazing music, so we started dancing and singing and it was so much fun!!! we got to talking with some people, there were some amazing signs that were just perfect and i had to go there and tell them how much i loved them :) it was just so fun, i loved meeting random people and it was just the perfect environment. at night there was also a dj set and a band singing to keep the show going!!
then when we were walking back to the bus stop at night we got the whiplash of not being surrounded by queer people anymore. we got catcalled like fifteen times in the span of three minutes. i kinda wanted to punch everyone because we had such a perfect day and i hated that we had to go back to the real world where people are shit 🥲
but still i got so many amazing memories and now all i want to do is book a flight to london for next year and have you come with me so we can celebrate together and see the heartstopper cast!!!!
also, i got a new tattoo yesterday!! and i actually had red white and royal blue with me to distract me so i almost finished the book again and cried in from of my tattoo artist lol it took me the whole day again and it was so painful but so worth it!!! i got medusa on my leg 😻
also, as to our previous letter i just wanted to say that of course i believed in you!!!! i knew you could do it!! but i can definitely believe you had to close your eyes to open that message 😂 getting grades back is always so stressful!! now manifesting a spot for the exchange 🕯️🕯️🕯️ i really hope you get it!!! it’s an amazing experience, you’d definitely love it!!!
and i’m really glad you found someone who specialises in what you need. it can take a while to find the right therapist but i hope this one works out!!
(i’m also writing down sydney and melbourne for when i’m rich enough to visit 😂 i literally booked a flight for august and my bank account kinda yelled at me to stop spending money i don’t have lol)
anyways i’m really sorry i’ve been away for so long, i had a crazy week between the beginning of seasonal sales, pride and the tattoo appointment. i kinda didn’t have time to do anything 🥲
i’m giving you a hug and some homemade chocolate chip cookies with biscoff cream on top <33
hello cece my beloved soulmate!!!!
oh my god i've been so excited to hear about this!!!
that sucks you had to go to work, boo!!! but at least you were off early enough to still go to pride!!!! and how cool that you got to share the experience of going on the bus with all the queer people!! i bet there was no straight and/or cis people on that bus 😂😂😂 just follow the rainbow!!
hot days are the worst, but pride would have made it so much better. i would not be focused on how sweaty i was or the temperature with the amount of queer joy happening around me! it's so wonderful that in a parade full of people and colour that you were able to feel so incredibly safe, and it would have been such an intimate moment for you! and fuck that religious protestor, i'm so glad you gave him the finger. the heartstopper cast would be so proud of you :')
oh that warms my heart that your sister came!!! that was so nice of her to come with you!! the floats sound amazing, and the singing and dancing!!! i am feeling some of the joy through my screen!! seriously, cece, this sounds like the most incredible time. i want to cry just thinking about you having so much fun with your friend and your sister, celebrating your queerness and talking to new people and singing and dancing like there's no one else around 🥲🥲🥲
the trip home must have been so dull in comparison! and how dare those people catcall you, i hope you gave them the same treatment as that religious protestor because seriously what the fuck.
the only thing that matters now is that you had a safe and wonderful time at pride and you can cherish those memories for the rest of your life! and yes, we must do it!! i will literally stay for an extra month just to go to pride in london with you <3
oh my god yay!!! i bet the medusa tattoo looks so cool! and yes reading rwrb while getting tattooed is properly not your best idea, but i'm already rereading rwrb any chance i get to annotate it fully before the movie so i can't say much 😂
okay, cece, i must let you know, because i said to myself i would let you know as soon as i could. but this morning, i woke up (quite late actually). i checked my watch for my notifications. i see an email waiting for me. i die a little inside realising it is from the exchange team at my university. i run out to grab my phone from where i charge it. i speed past my mum. i unlock my phone. i open my email and click on the newest one. and.... I GOT A SPOT EARLY!!! AT MY FIRST UNIVERSITY TOO!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??? i'm still in so much shock and i thank you for your manifesting and belief in me!!! oh my god i have so much to do before then (mostly saving money ngl 😂) but oh my god cece, i'm going to england for exchange!!!!!!
me too!! i just need to find the time to get a referral, so i can go and see them!!
(literally sydney and melbourne are lowkey expensive, but it is totally worth it!! and i would be more than happy to tell you where to go and where to stay! <3)
do not apologise!!! we are all busy! i am literally working the equivalent of a full time job over the next two weeks and i'm also dogsitting over the weekend :') pray for my poor soul.
i'm giving you the biggest hug i hope contains the same warmth as pride and i'm fighting off your customers so you can have a few moments to breathe <3333

chockie’s exhaustive guide to the merch-buying mercari jp rabbit hole
(this is a much more extended + standalone post version of a reblog i wrote a couple months ago! includes a step by step guide for dummies with explanation of paying, shipping, glossary of search terms in japanese etc)
as someone who has just god awful terminal karamatsu merch hoarding disease i am often asked how the hell i have just so much merch and that i surely must be very rich to afford it. nah i just budget really carefully and hunt for great value bulk deals on the GODSEND that is.... secondhand japanese sites like mercari jp (this post will focus on that), yahoo auctions, etc.
i am down abysmal for mercari jp. it’s a few more hoops to jump through compared to buying from international english merch platforms like goodrespublic, but you save SO MUCH MONEY in comparison. THE PRICES ARE NUTS.
for context, this is the last haul of stuff i received in one order just a couple months ago. total value was 17,370 yen ($142 USD) not including shipping which was ouchy… but still worth it af.
i bought mostly bulk sets that were basically all sub 1000 yen (~$8.20 USD) each. the single most expensive thing was that kabedon towel which is kinda hard to come by at 3400~ yen. here is a terrifying collage of all the merch i’ve hoarded so far since nov 2020 to aug 2021 and no exaggeration like 90% of it is from mercari jp.
what is mercari jp?
mercari is a secondhand sales platform, and mercari jp (not to be confused with mercari.com, which is for international sellers) is pretty much one of the biggest ones used in japan! the great thing is that japanese secondhand sales are (generally) a walk in the park, at least compared to buying secondhand locally where i am. they take good ass care of their stuff and most of it isn’t even truly “used” as we understand it bc a lot of the time they straight up left the stuff in its original packaging, maybe just a little dusty. and mercari sellers will include adorable handwritten notes thanking you. you might even get a drawing if you’re lucky! it’s amazing
the thing is that sites like goodrepublic and surugaya that are selling secondhand merch are literally just listing listings from sites like mercari or yahoo auctions jp but at a crazy markup. don’t even get me started on the scalping on ebay. it’s kinda reminiscent of what sites like devilinspired do with lolita fashion, like a 200%-400% markup. you’ll need a shopping/proxy service to buy from mercari jp if you’re not based in japan, but do not be scared because the savings are SO MUCH BETTER. here is a comparison of a listing for the exact same product on mercari jp that i bought vs listed on goodsrepublic. 700 yen is $5.74 USD. marked up to $25.29. that’s deadass a 5x markup. and the goodsrepublic listing doesn’t even have a real photo of the thing so you can’t check the quality yourself lmao or the reputation of the individual seller. nvm them charging absurd prices like $10-20 for a single keychain. you guys deserve better than this. THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS OUT THERE GUYS AND THEY’RE ALL ON MERCARI
some notes on shopping services:
DO NOT use the shopping service built in to mercari jp (buyee). they charge absurd extra fees for doing stuff that is typically expected of SSes like checking you even received your items period or packing them into 1 package to ship to you. even though they give you mega discounts on your first order, it STILL ends up being way more expensive than using a different SS. do not recommend.
my go-to japanese SS is jpshopping.jp. you can use them to buy from mercari as well as literally any other japanese site that sells stuff (e.g. i bought my kara season 3 varsity jacket new from rakuten through there). their site is a little jank, but all you really need is just order > online shop and then fill the form accordingly. you basically just copy paste the link to the thing(s) you want, type the price in, then pay for it, they buy all the stuff for you, get it shipped to their warehouse, and then ship all of it in 1 phat packidjge to send to you internationally. they only accept payment via paypal! other proxies may provide other options; this is what i use the most tho and will be the basis of the tutorials in this guide
(at least with jpshopping) you’re responsible for declaring duties and taxes on your stuff yourself. for legal reasons, this is definitely not a suggestion to commit tax evasion, because that is illegal! just because you have the ability to declare the value of the items in your order yourself as low as you like which in turn will determine how much you pay in custom fees and import taxes, and all mercari items are used/secondhand which means that there’s no way for customs officers to really determine their true value since it’s all weeb stuff that looks like junk toys to them anyway, DOESN’T MEAN YOU SHOULD COMMIT TAX EVASION! you’re welcome to dm if you need more information on how you should Definitely Not Do This
if you’re using an SS like jpshopping, you can literally ignore the “sorry! this item is only available in japan” thing bc the SS is based in japan. that’s a buyee problem. that’s not your problem anymore. you are free. just order it through the order form like you would anything else. the world is your oyster
jpshopping (and most proxy services) will require payment in whatever currency works for them, which is often JPY (or if it’s based in china for example, CNY or HKD or whatever). so keep the currency conversion in mind as well as the currency conversion fee that paypal charges you.
some proxy services like jpshopping will actually have a built in mercari browser as an option on their own site. it’s up to you if you want to use this. personally, i prefer browsing on the mercari site itself and just copying/pasting the links into the order form
understanding the layout of mercari and jpshopping:
here’s a quick guide to the layout of mercari jp and how to browse it. it’s that simple! and yeah, THOSE ARE THE REAL PRICES. remember to convert from JPY to whatever currency is relevant to you. here’s a quick guide on the order form at jpshopping
a step by step detailed breakdown of how to place an order:
search for whatever you want on mercari.com/jp/ in japanese and find the listings you want to buy. make sure to google translate the page to check the listing title and description. i have made a glossary list of common search terms down below!
copy and paste the link to that listing into the URL box of the jpshopping order form at jpshopping.jp/chkoutoss. if you have more than 1 item you wanna order in one go (recommend this- i call it mercari HAULS bc economically makes most sense to ship stuff in bulk rather than just a single small item. the first kg of your haul hurts to ship the most), you can click the dropdown next to number of items. jpshopping lets you order 10 things at a time. if you want more than 10 listings, you’ll have to do a new order form and when everything’s arrived, choose to merge these orders into one package later. if you wanna do something like split or take a specific thing from a big bundle, write that out in the enquiry/item comments section
write the exact price of the item as listed on mercari in yen in the item value box. this is the price the system will charge you when you place your order, so if you mess this up, they’ll have to refund the difference (or you pay the difference, depending on how u mess up). not a big deal, but kinda annoying to deal with
(can leave all this as default usually) - select shipping method: i recommend the default option, “select after jss receives item”, especially if you’re ordering a buncha stuff in a haul. - also recommend default packing option for the same reason. - if it’s something you think might be bought up REALLY quick (like those cute new retro pop things, listings get bought up within hours) or hotly bidded on as an auction, choose the “buy it now” option for jpshopping to buy it instantly with the system. otherwise, generally recommend “buy during business hours” so that an actual human working at jpshopping will manually buy it themselves. especially needed if you want to split up a bundle or something.
it will show you a page confirming all your items, prices, and options, and importantly, the total item costs at the bottom plus the commission fee they charge. you can see a detailed breakdown on JSS’s site here but basically, if the total cost of all items is less than 3000 yen, there’s a flat 300 yen commission fee. more than 3k yen, and the charge becomes based on percentage (10%, down to 5% if you get 10k, 20k yen worth of stuff). make sure everything looks good to you
click the paypal checkout button, pay via paypal. afaik, jpshopping only lets you pay via paypal (so paypal balance, credit/debit linked via pp, or direct bank transfer via pp). other proxy shopping services may have other options available, but otherwise, this is what you got
the waiting game: ~1-2 weeks or less usually. less if you have fewer items, longer if you have a lot of items - you will first receive an email with an order confirmation and another confirming your first payment. - when they officially purchase whatever listings you requested (~1 business day or less), you will receive an update email telling you what they purchased. sometimes due to individual mercari seller issues (or if you wanna split bundles, etc) they may have to speak with them which can delay this email. ordering outside of business hours with the “buy during business hours” will also delay it. so, keep in mind it’s a possibility another person might buy the listing before JSS gets to it. (that’s what the buy it now automatically option is for) - you will receive an update email when the mercari seller ships out the item to JSS domestically within japan (1-7 business days). - you will receive an update email when JSS receives the item. these usually get staggered out over time since that’s how mail works and diff sellers send at diff times/speeds. they will hold the items for you for free for a while but will charge a storage fee if you leave them too long. see their site for more info - when all the items in your order have arrived or otherwise been accounted for (e.g. if it gets bought up/deleted before JSS gets to it, they cancel it from the order and refund you accordingly), you will receive a “select shipping/packing option” email. this means that JSS is ready to put everything into 1 big box and send it to you internationally
you can now log in to jpshopping and click “select and pack” either on the homepage or in your order history tab. this will take you to a page where you can check boxes for which orders you wanna merge into 1 box that gets shipped to you. if you only have 1 order of stuff, then just check that. i love JSS cuz unlike buyee etc they don’t charge you for doing this pretty basic thing (or confirming that they even received everything lol)
declare your items for customs/border control. there will be an area on the page where you’ll have to write an itemized list of what exactly each item is, quantities, and how much it’s worth. the description of what the items are should be very specific (e.g. “used anime PVC statue”, “secondhand cotton polyester tshirt”. “used aluminum anime pin badge”) and list the fact that it’s used, the material, and a clear description of what it is. a criminal might commit tax evasion by entering item costs as lower than they actually paid for it because it’s so hard to accurately judge the value of a secondhand toy, resulting in a reduced amount to pay for duties/import tax, possibly even so that the total value of all the items in a haul is below their country’s item import tax threshold ($100 in the US, CAD$60 in canada, google your own country’s) to be considered a “gift” and thus bypassing the need to pay duties/import tax entirely. so, make sure not to do this! everything on mercari counts as used/secondhand, however if you buy something new from a different site in your order then you actually should list the actual cost just in case.
choose your shipping option and click “calculate” for shipping cost. as of 2022, the options available to you are dependent on your country and what restrictions japan postal service has shipping to it. for example, if you’re based in canada like me, fuck you absolutely no options available to you except fedex which is absurdly expensive and also awful :’) but other countries may have different options! you can read more about the specific options available to you either on the page you’re on or here. JSS will also be able to tell you how much shipping will cost you depending on the option you pick, which is 99% of the time calculated based on weight usually with a flat base cost for the first kg or less (for fedex, it’s volumetric weight). that’s what makes it wiser to do hauls rather than buy single items. personally, pre-covid i recommended EMS as the best value for the price shipping (fast, 2 weeks ish or less, tracked, safe) but EMS prices have skyrocketed since covid :( so use your best judgment
pay for shipping via paypal! you will now receive a confirmation email of your payment going through, and then when they ship your pakijj to you, an email notifying you your box has shipped out with tracking number if applicable.
the waiting game 2: electric boogaloo, and paying duties/import taxes if applicable. if the total cost of your haul is above the import tax gift limit, you may have to pay import taxes depending on your shipping method. private couriers like fedex or DHL will pretty much ding you and make you pay, guaranteed (as well as awful extra fees for even using them on top of everything else), and you’ll receive an email and a snail mail letter with an invoice of how much you owe your gubmint in taxes. they’ll have a way for you to pay online by card usually.
receive pakijj and simp! you did it!

i hope this helps! i’ve dragged so many people into the mercari rabbit hole. may this bring even more into the fold. jpshopping and most other SSes will have easy ways to communicate with them directly like email or chat clients, so don’t be afraid to contact them with questions about items before you buy or about your order after it’s been placed. and if you have questions or need help with this stuff my DMs and asks are open anytime!!
SEPT. 3 2022 EDIT: some additional FAQ/issues
it’s actually been bugging me for a while that i forgot to include these in this tutorial, so i’m doing a quick edit to it now!
i placed my order, but haven’t received any emails yet? you should get an automatic confirmation of payment email literally immediately after you place your order, so if you haven’t gotten that, please check your spam inbox and whitelist/allow emails from jpshopping, because the email updates are important and will tell you when they’ve received your stuff/when it’s ready to go out! you get emails in this order: 1. automatic email right after you’ve paid and placed your order 2. email after the people at jpshopping have bought your item. this is usually manual and won’t be immediate bc they’ll buy it during their work hours, unless you chose the “buy it now”/automatically option in which case it comes immediately. 3. email after jpshopping receives the order at their warehouse in japan 4. email after everything in your order (assuming you got multiple things at one go like i suggested) has arrived and you can now choose to combine packages/orders into one big thing to ship to you and pay for shipping. 5. automatic email confirming you’ve paid for shipping 6. email after jpshopping has shipped out your big package to you!
but do they ship to my location? the good thing about using proxy/shopping services like jpshopping is that their whole thing is shipping stuff from japan worldwide. so yeah, whether you’re in europe or south america or southeast asia, they’ll ship to you. the question is what shipping options are available to your country from japan. in the absolute worst case scenario, all standard national post services are NOT delivering from japan to you, because fuck you lmao (full disclosure, as someone usually based in canada, this is the boat i’m in :’) i don’t know why we are still stuck like this when our neighbors down south got it back last year but oh well). in this case, ABSOLUTE worst case scenario, you will still have private couriers such as fedex and/or DHL (depending on the SS. jpshopping only offers fedex i think). the cost will hurt because this is both the fastest but also the VASTLY more costly option.... but at least it delivers no matter where you are in the world? if you are lucky, then you may have some other options to try! yamato, EMS, surface, etc. they’ll all be cheaper than fedex and have their pros/cons like being slower, or no tracking number, or there’s a weight/size limit. it’s up to you. EMS tends to be the best value for your buck, if that’s available to you. otherwise jpshopping will give you a breakdown on the details.

A Peach Like You - sequel to Peaches ain't Pretty
Peter Parker never considered himself special. Maybe, yeah, having radioactive blood and spider-like abilities makes him different and his vigilante career is out of the norm and fine, yeah, he's on the autism spectrum. Call that "special" if you want. But under all that, he's a regular college student juggling three jobs, an internship, a sad mockery of a social life, and saving the city day and night. The usual stuff.
So when he somehow catches the eye of a blue-eyed mech engineering major with an accent that could turn even Aunt May's brick-hard mashed potatoes to mush, he's only thrown for a minute before he writes it off as a fluke. What could a guy like that see in a guy like him anyway?
Chapter One Will Be Posted January 5th CST
Check below the Read More for a sneak peak
Chapter 1: I’m an only child and I’m desperate for attention
Peter’s web-line, tangled desperately between numb fingers, holds as he slams into glass. Air punches from his lungs, but the pane stays intact. He fumbles for his footing, slipping in the smears of scarlet left from his meeting with the window, then begins the slow miserable climb to the ninth floor. His abdomen burns. His head pounds.
He’s not going to pass out. He’s not going to pass out. He’s…
He’s so fired. The pizzas he was supposed to deliver are long gone by now, whether he can remember where he stashed them or not. His boss is going to be furious with him for flaking on his deliveries again. He may have attempted the tried and true ‘It’s not my fault, Mr. Leonetti, I was mugged,’ routine if it wasn’t for all of the cell phones that recorded Spider-Man getting stabbed not two doors down from the pizza shop. He can’t risk anyone making the connection between Spider-Man and Peter Parker.
What was he supposed to do? Not drop everything and strip down to his suit to stop the bodega from being robbed? Not web the clerk out of the way of the stray bullet? Not take the lucky stab between his ribs during his distraction?
Actually, he could have done without that last one. Ned has enough on his plate without having his mess of a childhood best friend slithering through his window every other day with life-threatening injuries.
He breathes a sigh of relief as his fingers curl over Ned’s window sill. His Friend of Spider-Man sense must be tingling because it’s wide open. A strange choice for February, but you won’t hear him whining about his unprecedented change in luck.
He pushes the screen until it pops free of the frame then rolls into the apartment. He lands with a thud on gray carpet and groans as the impact aggravates his stab wound. It’s not until the haze of pain clears enough to see the unfamiliar light fixture above him that he considers how unlike Ned it is to have the window open on a day that’s threatening snow.
Ned hates winter. He hates leaving the window open even a crack and often compromises by stuffing a towel in the crack to keep the draft out because, as much as he hates winter, he loves his best friend more.
As he blinks at the rest of the room, dazed from blood loss, he slowly puts together that this is not Ned’s apartment. It smells wrong for one thing. Like burnt bread and blood (the latter of which, yes, he realizes is his fault), but also there’s a distinct lack of life in this place that’s so contradictory to Ned’s merch and memorabilia-stuffed apartment that for a moment he thinks maybe this one is vacant. No shoes by the door. No pillows on the couch. No DVDs next to the TV. No takeout containers. No books. Nothing.
Other than a mason jar that’s half-filled with odd little trinkets on an otherwise barren bookshelf, the place is lifeless.
Well, nearly lifeless.
In the same moment he decides he ought to haul his broken body out the window and try for the correct window, a tall blond someone wearing a knit sweater and jeans that have been worn soft over time steps into the room waving a towel at the smoke lingering near the ceiling.
The man freezes as they lock eyes.
Oh, mother fudger.
