"Of course we do, we were born to become hell spawns. Fire belongs to hell. And your black flames belong to her. To Amaterasu." Shisui replied while sitting next to Itachi, this was their first meal after the massacre. Sun for the Uchiha clan is set down, by the hand of their own. But for these two lads sun is rising again. It is rising to touch the zenith before it plunges down into hell. But not yet.

Chewing down on his riceball, and gulping soon after Shisui spoke again. "Hell for us, shall be in her grasp. In one of her deep dark pits full of her undying flames. And if we want to be honest with each other. We deserve no better. We saved innocents by killing more innocents. Where is the justice on that?"

Slowly Shisui's gaze shifts from food to Itachi, making eye contact, for the first time. That familiar face aged and sharpened in one night more than someone could in ten years. Emotionless even the tone of his voice was indifferent. Indifferent while telling that. And there were days when that face beamed with a smile, with joy...But it is all gone now. Instead, the road of peace all they left behind them was a river of blood. Footsteps of death, heartbeats of screams. Branded forever as psychopaths who in all their ingenious glory snapped, went rough. Like a fox in a chicken coop, they sniffed blood and they could not stop until all chickens were dead.

"Here have my sweets as well, I am not much into sugar" There it was a slight smile warming up Itachi's face. Now only Shisui could stir what was left of Itachi's emotions. There were at the bottom of his heart coals, dying embers that Shisui could stir. Forever together no matter what. They are paying it now, while the guilty are back in Konoha, playing their role of the righteous.

"This is what my father told me before he died. Before I plunged my sword into his heart." In all the madness of blood, screams, beggings...Shisui found them, his father, and his best friend. Shisui saw in their eyes instead of outrage- understanding as both men were going from sitting to kneeling position. Surrendering their fate to their next of kin.

A sunflower boy lifts his sword the blade whistle to the air, before it cuts off the head of Uchiha Hikaku. There was no grace in that so-called honorable death. The body fell shaking and spasming, the same as when you cut the head of your rooster. When it calmed, there was a pool of blood where once head was, dark blood thick almost black. Blood sprayed Kagami, Shiusi's father, he was too close. "And then he said to me Itachi, he said. Shisui, you know how this village came to be. Heaven and Hell joined forces to fuse all this. One village that shall keep in check. But all failed because heaven and hell picked a fight between themselves. Fire thought that it can easily eat wood, but it was not easy, wood was life and so is water. The flame was banished and with it all his little flames. We were pushed into the restricted area, and instead to learn and reflect on that. We plotted the revenge. Shisui wherever you go after this, remember who you are. Your flame is the flame of life, not the flame of death."

Kagami was dead, and Shisui set ablaze the room, burning the bodies. He ran and ran, till he met up with Itachi, who was just done with Sasuke. One more injustice, toward an innocent boy. Itachi and Shisui disappeared into the night.

"Let's go by nightfall we shall be at the meeting point. And at our new home and family. In the end, Itachi, if the sword doesn't take me away, I shall be all alone. For if sword doesn't take you time will. Your sickness will unless, in all this madness, you don't find the will in yourself to live, to search for the cure."

Back to back, against the world that soon shall be aware that the Uchiha duo is alive. They are the price and the challenge. Soon Sasuke will come after them as well, to send them to hell with his own blade.

about illario working with the venatori, we can't forget that elgar'nan gifted him blood magic, so I do think that he somewhat influenced him and that's why he's so much more vindictive and jealous in comparison to tevinter nights. I don't mean that he's being mind controlled, but it's a bit like cyrian, a god just amplifying those negative emotions in you and promising power and glory can push a person to that edge and to make stupid af decisions.

im also not forgetting that zara line in inner demons where she talks about an envy demon. like. why an envy demon in specific...there's THINGS between zara and illario that were not shown

no literally if you get me talking about illario + envy + the possibility of getting him possessed, you will have me here for fucking ever. a non mage doing blood magic (any magic at all) is really weird and interesting to me and i don’t remember an example of this happening before (feel free to correct me tho lol. i’m discounting possessions and dwarves)

i had started wildly theorising after bloodbath that he had been possessed and he was tapping into the fade using an envy demon. especially like you said, zara mentions it, AND because i swear there’s a codex in the ossuary where it mentions an envy demon whereas spite is obviously determination, right? so i thought it was a breadcrumb trail to a big “illario is being influenced and doesn’t even know” reveal— same as you anon like great minds am i right— but i’m not sure there is actually any evidence of that lol. like maybe if you squint but i do believe it was explained away by “oh yeah, and elgarnan let him do special blood magic”

it does also make sense to me that illario can only control lucanis, due to being part of the same family. a bloodline thing, and it is very poetic to me that their shared family connection in caterina is what allows him to control lucanis, even for a moment lol. spite being the extra magical boost that lucanis needs to block that out ALSO makes sense to me so i’m not too fussed abt these details lol🤔

the envyllario in my heart also gets spectral weapons for himself. lucanis gets wings, illario gets talons, PLUS green-purple are complementary colors so it would have been really fun to see them clash with their spirit/demon-powers. the talon thing is also a kind of reflection of his end-goal desire, how envy demons already have those freaky hands, and it manifests as claws and is a much more aggressive, strength-augmenting manifestation (as opposed to manoeuvrability and speed-augmenting that spite’s wings give lucanis.) anyways that's what the diagram above is supposed to be (this is extremely hot to me)
