"I have a job for you," Sarah said. She was once the prized daughter of a Mercher when he tried to have her murdered and sold into slavery for the sake of keeping up his reputation. Her boyfriend was high up in the dregs. Being homeless with a lot of money in the middle of Kettedam. The wraith must have seen her cut lip and black eye or the way she practically leaned into the company. Her freedom endanger should heleen find her. She went from an arranged marriage to hiding out attempting to prove the murderer and villain her father truly was. It was worth it to love and adore John B. Inej owed him, but she knew she could sweeten the deal. The blonde was not one to beg though her doe eyes probably spoke something. Her hand jutting out to show the raised tattoo on her arm. "And I can pay."

Bring your child to work
Tumblr media
Includes- Toji, Sukuna, Nanami, Gojo, Geto
Tumblr media
Sukuna-
Sukuna doesn't have a job, you don't even know how he gets money. So he brings her to a village he recently raided, he sometimes raided them for resources or just for fun. Once he raided one just because he wasn't willing to pay for your pregnancy cravings. "Dad, this village is all burnt!" complaining at the sight of ash everywhere, kicking her foot through the charred grass blades. "Be quiet" glaring at his daughter as he walked away from her. He was trying to look for atleast a child to keep his daughter company. "Don't leave me!" Running up to him, he didn't understand how she could be scared when her father was the king of curses, plus it was broad daylight and no curse would dare get close to him.
Nanami-
"Let me come with you dad!" All dressed up in her father's clothes, frantically trying to tuck in the shirt, into her skirt. Stood Infront of the bathroom door, she had been awaiting her father to come out, walking out with a bottle of shaving foam in his hand. "You can't sweetheart" crouching down to say it, patting her head as a way to comfort her. She had gotten all dressed up by stealing her father's shirt and tie only to be rejected, even putting in his reading glasses to make her seem more professional. He knew for a fact that she wouldn't be coming with him to work, especially since he was on a mission today. Grabbing her by her shoulders as he dragged her out of the way. "Why not?" Begging for a chance. "Cause I said so" walking towards you.
Sat inside the office reading a book, he purposely didn't take any missions today so that his daughter thought that his job was boring and wouldn't ask again. "Dad, your work is boring!" Sat on the armchair beside him, she had nothing to do but wait for the 9 hours to pass. "I told you that" letting her sit through her actions.
Geto-
Geto has his daughter stand behind the curtains whilst he talks to his followers, not wanting her to hear anything he has to say, especially what would come after he gets mad. He has a personal servant bring her noise cancelling headphones when he starts to get annoyed. Crouching beside her as they played a game, she was so clueless to what her beloved father was doing. Murdering the so-called 'monkeys' of society. "When is my daddy done?" Pats on the head, despite having the headphones on she could recognise that from anywhere. "Right here princess" retracting his hand as he picked her up. Taking the headphones off, dropping them into the servant's hand as he walked off. "Hi daddy!"
Gojo-
When Gojo isn't busy, he's either at home with you or teaching his students, unfortunately for them, they were on a mission already. So he was just laying around in his office. "Dad I'm bored" sat on the sofa opposite him. "So am I" slouching in his chair, there was nothing to do. Even his second year students were on a mission. "Let's go see Nanamin" dragging his son out of his office, searching around the campus just to find the blond. Sat in one of the many lounge rooms. A sigh depleting from his mouth as he heard the voice of the strongest. "What is it now?" Refusing to look up from the book. "Nanamin!" Your son knew who Nanami was due to the many times that Gojo dropped him off on the campus when he went on missions. Despite his many times to stop Gojo's son from calling him 'nanamin' it never worked out since he was so much like his father. "We've come to see you!" Sitting down opposite him. "Are you sure you haven't come to drop your son off?" Receiving the snarky comment was like a bullet to the chest, but he was wrong this time.
Toji-
Toji wasn't officially employed, he was basically unemployed but he always acted like he was employed since he brought in good amounts of money. "Papa I want to help" kicking her little legs as she sat playing with one of the weapons. Her father was currently discussing the new target he had, redacting any words that she may pick up on. "No" Shiu carried on rambling on about the prices he would get if it was under a specific time. "Why not!?" Slapping the poor man with the weapon, fortunately it was blunt, just like playful cloud. "Cause you'll get in my way" ripping the weapon from her hands, putting it back inside the worm. Scrunching up her face as soon as she heard the harsh reality, "Mr Shiu would let me come!" Trying to prove her point even more. "No I wouldn't" he should be smoking right now but didn't for the courtesy of your kid, patting the girl's head as they walked out. Toji following behind him, chuckles could be heard as they left.

MERA IVE BEEN HAVING THIS THOUGHT AND I THINK YOURE THE RIGHT PERSON TO SHARE IT WITH BC ITS SO PERFECT FOR THE TWEELS 😭
A long time ago, back when i was a teenager and still a wattpad girly, I read this one really good story called "Family Comes First" about a family of cannibals that lives in the middle of nowhere. They only keep boy children who are born, no daughters. Whenever a boy turns a certain age (I think 21 but I cant really rmbr), the father goes out to the nearest city, interviews girls under the guise of offering them a job, and kidnaps the best one as a birthday gift and bride. The mother-in-law teaches the new girl how to be a good wife (cleaning, cooking that strange meat, etc.), and the husband is otherwise responsible for his wife, to the point of selecting and laying out her clothing every morning. The ultimate honour is to birth a son, and so the husbands are CONSTANTLY trying to get their wives knocked up. I can't help but imagine Jade and Floyd in a story like this, it suits them perfectlyyyyy
In the book, one of the boys ended up catching feelings for brother's wife (the main character) instead of his own, and it causes fights serious drama in the family. This works so well with the recent ideas about Jade stealing Floyd's cute little wifey except it would be even better for them because they're twins and Jade can pull all his nasty tricks 😭 maybe when she finally gets knocked up with a son, they won't know who it belongs to, because he looks just like his daddy, but the potential daddies look the sammmeee OTZ
Oh oh oh and imagine if reader tries to escape and the family decides to let her try. Let her have fun. Hell, they even join in on the fun. She was blindfolded when they brought her and she's never been out of the house before, so she doesn't know her way around the woods, whereas the men in this family have been hunting humans for sport and food in these woods for generations. Now she's lost in the dark forest with daddy leech and the tweels rapidly closing in on her. She's going to be taught a lesson after they drag her home. After all, she lost the game, and losers never get rewards >_<
OHHH!!! Omg that concept is perfect for the tweels!!!! And they would absolutely draw out the chase in the forest just to scare you even more. Maybe then, after spending an entire day and night being hunted like a wild animal, you'll learn your home is with them. There's no point in running from your family, after all.
Hehe running from the three of them and you injure yourself, so now you're even more panicked because what if they can smell the cut on your leg? What if they can hear your pained grunts as you drag yourself along, limping through the forest? >_< omg and it doesn't matter who finds you; it's going to be frightening either way. Floyd who drags you out of your hiding place by the ankles, or Jade who stands over you as he patiently waits for you to take notice of him. Or Papa Leech wrapping you up in big, strong, scarred arms to carry you back to the house. Maybe you're kicking and screaming all the way, and it's useless to struggle because there's no one else out here for stretches. Just you and your family, who care so very much for you. You should be grateful! Mr. Leech's sons fight over you to be named your husband. Aren't you lucky to have the two of them? Most of all, aren't you lucky you're alive and not on their murderous menu?
AAAAAA and Papa Leech picks your clothes for you going forwards! They were far too patient and lenient with you before, far too forgiving. Now you're living under a new schedule, a fresh set of rules. Your clothes are selected for you, and your meals are prepared in advance (gone are the days in which you were given choices; each meal is healthy and has properties meant to boost your fertility). When you aren't learning to be the perfect housewife, you're getting bent over every possible surface and bred by the twins. Or if the twins can't behave, then maybe Papa Leech ought to knock you up instead........... thinking thoughts.
In conclusion, the entire family is crazy and you're stuck with them forever. orz

also, i don't know why i wrote this. i don't know why i'm posting it, either. but i do feel like writing and reading this kind of fiction has helped me with my own traumas, in some way. i don't understand it, but as long as it's recognized as fiction, i don't think it's wrong to engage with it. if it bothers anyone, i can take it down, or move the page break to the top, before the warnings.

On the night of his mother’s death, Kai had never felt so numb.
He was crowded in a room with his father and seven siblings, all of them sobbing and sneezing as they huddled around her body, willing her back from the hands of death, but he felt numb. Nothing. No sadness, no joy, no emotion at all. He stared at her, mind completely void, as he tried to think up a good memory of the woman, as prompted by his father to his siblings.
“Everyone share your favorite memory with her,” he said in between sobs. The children immediately started spilling out their hearts. Snot dribbled from their noses and dripped down to the carpet. The oldest two were dry heaving in an attempt to catch their breaths, and the youngest were crying. His twin sister held one, while his father held the other, but nothing helped. “Malachai?” His father turned to him, “your turn to share something.”
Kai had nothing. When he opened his mouth, his tongue tripped over the first word - the I, in ‘I don’t know’.
“Malachai?” He asked again, nostrils beginning to flare. If Kai didn’t say something soon, he knew what would happen. But when he tried to speak, nothing would come out. “Would you give us a moment?’” He addressed his children.
Joshua took his eldest son by the hand then, gripping tightly, and dragged him to the garage. There, he slapped him across the face, pushed him up against the wall, and hit him in the stomach. Everything he needed to say, he said in his actions, and that was enough. Kai had grown used to his father communicating with his fists.
“Twenty-four hours,” he spat, wetness hitting Kai’s cheek. The boy wasted no time getting up and heading to his room, where he’d be for the next day. Only this time, he wondered what it would be like without his mother.
---
Madeline never had the same relationship with her firstborn son as she did her first daughter. They were twins, and expected to be loved the same, though that quickly proved not the case as they grew older.
The change started around the time they turned four. At this time, his sister, Josette had begun to develop her magic, but Kai was never able. First impressions were that Kai was simply behind his sister in his development, but soon, whispers of something more sinister were born.
At age six, the coven’s deepest fear was confirmed as true: Kai was a siphon, and could not produce magic himself. Then, like a black sheep, he was casted out from his family. His sister could not play with him, his coven could not give him affection, his own mother was not allowed to touch him. They feared he’d steal their magic and hurt them in the process, and so contact became forbidden.
Madeline cried when told she could not reach for the child she bore. Her own flesh and blood, yet if she touched him, he could cause her harm. Her relationship with him became an obsession. She would cast him aside like the rest of the coven, but when given even a second alone, she’d return to him, coddling him with affection. She craved closeness she could not give, and her desires made her spiral out of control.
Malachai was eight when his mother’s attention became one of his greatest threats. What happened was something he didn’t understand until much later in life, a sinking feeling in the soul as the memory resurfaces. Buried deep to protect himself and only remembered when he came across an old story she used to tell him to lull him to sleep.
Joshua would sit beside her as she’d read the story of Peter Pan, and she wouldn’t dare to brush the hair from his face. She wouldn’t kiss him goodnight, nor would she tuck the blanket up to his chin. She put her son to bed, and then she and her husband would leave the room.
But on nights where Joshua had meetings with the coven leaders, and Madeline would stay home with her three children, she would visit him in the night. The woman would creak the door open very quietly and check to see if the boy was awake. Usually, he’d be fast asleep. Madeline would then crawl up next to him on the bed and trace her fingertips along his blanket. If Malachai did not stir, she’d slip a hand underneath the sheets and feel for his soft skin. First on his stomach, but her hand always traveled further than a mother’s should. One hand held his waist while the other felt his length, at the time, barely three inches. Her heart swelled with pride - three inches at eight years meant he’d grow much thicker by puberty. Girls would be tripping over their feet to sleep with him, she’d smile to herself.
Sometimes while she was rubbing him, Kai would wake up. He would be confused at her presence in his room, but he’d never question it the way she held a finger to her lips.
“I just missed you, baby boy,” she’d say, “mommy never gets to see her baby anymore.” And Kai, with a deep suspicion that something was wrong, yet never knowing what, didn’t ever ask. It was nice to receive attention from his mother, he had convinced himself.
But by age twelve, it wasn’t such a nice feeling anymore. Madeline snuck into his room whenever possible, her head immediately ducking underneath his blankets. Her wet mouth would wrap around his length, a whole inch larger now, and pleasure him in a way he didn’t understand. If he fought against her, or begged her to let him sleep, she’d shush him and continue without a care. She called these nights her Mommy Time, and if Malachai interrupted, she’d grow inpatient with him. Twice she slapped him across the face before putting her hands back on him. So, he eventually learned to let her have her way.
At fourteen, like most children his age, Kai was a tenacious kid. The more he acted out against his father, the more time he served in punishment. And every time he would be barred from being with his family, his mother would be his only visitor. Kai hated every aspect of his home life. He hated his siblings’ chatter, he hated his father’s hand, he hated his mother’s tongue. Most of his days were spent in his room, by choice or by rule, leaving him to rot through his teenage years.
Ten years had passed from the date he was banned from human contact. Eight had gone by since his mother took it upon herself to break that rule.
Madeline would have other children as the years went by. Year after year, his father would impregnate her, and she’d bear him another. It soon became more unusual to see her not pregnant than carrying. But whether she had just given birth or was still round, she would still come to see him in the night. Sometimes, her breasts would be full and leaking milk, and she would offer him a taste, but Kai would narrow his eyes and shake his head. The woman would shrug and continue her ministrations on his lower body. Kai would squeeze his eyes shut until the sinful pleasure lulled him to sleep.
A few times throughout his teenage years, Kai would ask questions about the rituals. Most of the time, she would refuse to answer, again, with a finger to her lips, but sometimes she’d give him something vague to chew on,
“This is common for boys your age, exploring your body. You’d be learning about this in school if you hadn’t gotten expelled. Since you can’t learn it there, I’m teaching you.”
Another common one would be, “you should be lucky to have someone touching you at all. Your father has forbidden it, and if you are to tell, we’d both be in trouble.”
So Kai never told. Because as much as he feared nights with his mother, he feared days with his father more. He knew, partly, that his mother was right. If she weren’t going to show him attention, he’d never get it again.
Nothing changed at sixteen. Nothing, except for the fact that he’s longer now and produces more. The feeling of his mother’s hand still feels wrong upon his body. Though with nothing to compare it to, nor anyone with whom he could discuss it, he doesn’t.
A couple of times, he’s felt a tension in his stomach not caused by her unlawful touches. Something needy from inside himself. He tries to ignore it, but ignoring it, he learns, only makes it worse. The few times he’s reached for himself, to follow some internal instinct he doesn’t understand, he’s retracted his hands immediately. The trashcan in his bathroom soon finds a new residency beside his bed.
Eighteen isn’t a healthy year for Malachai. He’s skin and bones, and face is a sickly pale color. Old clothes hang off his shoulders, barely fitting his frame. Bruises cover his body, both those visible in their purplish tint, and those invisible, known only in his mind.
His parents don’t seem to notice his decline. If they do, they don’t care. That is, until his little brother, Joey, pokes his arm one time, and looks up to his father. “Malachai doesn’t look so good, daddy.”
Joshua’s eyes go wide at the sight of his younger son touching his eldest. He sweeps him off his feet and scolds Kai, “do better.” Like Kai can control the way he looks when his father more often beats than feeds him.
After that, though, his parents give a little more attention to his appearance. His father makes sure he eats three meals, and his mother applies a salve to the bruises that his clothes don’t hide.
By twenty, he’s back to a normal weight. For the first time in years, he feels a strength accompany him, something he refuses to let slip through his fingers. His mind wants to fight; his body wants to escape. He’s been held down and tormented for twelve years. Twelve years too many, and won’t stand for a single one more.
Twenty, it seems, is a year of change for more than just Kai. The year prior, his mother fell pregnant again, but that time, with twins. When the ultrasound of the unborn fetuses was produced, the coven had a small celebration, as if this was something they’ve been waiting for. Kai, feeling confused, angry, humiliated, and anxious all in one, watched from the window. The longer he stared, the more numb he began to feel.
The twins’ arrival stole a lot of their mother’s attention. They were restless children, always seeming to need something from her. But despite their constant cries, she still made time to visit him in his bed. Fewer nights she’d come, though she demanded from him the same. So he let his mother do as she always had done, but now, instead of squeezing his eyes shut in the midst of the pain, he let his mind run wild. The pain turned to anger - red hot and eating him alive. Revenge carved itself a corner in his head, and hours were spent planning how he’d get it. The more space it took, the less he cared for other things, but Kai didn’t feel it necessary to occupy himself with anything else. In that moment, he chose to survive.
Later that year, his planning was cut short by his mother’s death. She went in her sleep, in her own bed, and beside her husband. There was no warning, except for a mild flu she had earlier in the week. It was sudden, and unexplainable, but the doctor on call assured it was at least painless. Kai’s eye twitched at the news. Some dark part of him wanted her to suffer in her last moments. Just a little slice of what she made him feel would be enough retribution. Yet, she never paid. And now she was gone.
Twenty-four hours later, when Kai had served his punishment in silence, and was allowed to return to his mother’s bedside, the paramedics came to take her body. He didn’t care to see it, nor smell the rotting corpse his father had probably slept beside that night. The paramedics entered quietly and worked swiftly, as if spelled to not ask questions. A doctor spoke to Joshua in hushed silence, careful to not let children overhear. The children, herded in a corner by Josette, only stared at the scene of their mother being carried out. His twin sister had tears in her eyes, but none of them fell. She locked eyes with Kai. A face wet with rain met a desert. She looked away in disgust, while he looked down, feeling nothing.
“All due respect, Mr. Parker, if you had taken her to a doctor, we may have been able to catch if something was wrong earlier,” Kai heard the doctor say. His heartbeat quickens knowing there was a way to prevent this. Maybe she did suffer.
“Madeline hated doctors. I’d never make her do something she wouldn’t want to do.”
“It might have saved her life. You can’t have eight children without any medical intervention and expect no complications, sir.”
“I would never go against the will of my wife. She hated modern medicine. Speaking of, release her body to me after you find the cause of death. I would like to bury her in my family’s tradition.”
“Very well, Mr. Parker. And again, I’m sorry for your loss.”
Kai watched the body as it was wheeled out of the house, knowing in only a short time, it would be brought right back. His mother would be buried alongside the rest of the family, and the coven would gather to celebrate her life. Kai looked over to the small gravesite by the side of the house. Flowers had grown atop it, but they wouldn’t be there for much longer.
When paramedics finally began to drive away, Josette cracked. A whine escaped her lips, and it quickly became a sob. She fell to her knees. Her father and their siblings rushed to her side, offering comfort he’d never felt. Comfort, to mourn the loss of a woman who had only ever hurt him. Kai’s throat dries. His head hurts, and there’s a pang in his heart. But it’s not for love, nor mourning of the woman, but for rage. Rage that his childhood was so different from his twin’s. Jealousy, anger, resentment, towards all those in his family who didn’t share the same fate of his youth. Kai’s need for revenge didn’t dissipate after his mother’s death, though that’s what he had expected. In fact, it only grew.
It became his only comfort. Something he never felt from his family, but could find deep within himself. But to have it, he’d have to separate himself even more than he already was. A small price to pay: to sacrifice his sanity for survival. It was a price he was willing to pay.

Headcanons for Parallel Susie
I talk about Susie a lot on my blog. She's one of my favorites, after all.
And now I'll talk about my interpretation of her parallel counterpart:
Tumblr media
In my headcanons, Parallel Susie has a very similar backstory to regular Susie's: being split from her dad and banished to Another Dimension for a long time, only to then have her dad forget about her existence by the time she manages to finally return to him because a broken machine ended up eroding the memories that he had of her.
And just like regular Susie, Parasusie was also massively hurt by her dad forgetting about her... but she then handled it very differently.
Regular Susie could be considered rather vengeful in what she did about her dad forgetting about her: the action of her stealing Star Dream's helmet was an attempt to humiliate him. But she didn't mean to kill him... that was a huge mistake, instead she was merely trying to force him to look her way. She just wanted his previous self back.
Parasusie, on the other hand, was much more aggressively vengeful. She was so hurt by her dad forgetting about her, she felt like she was spat in the face (regular Susie did, too, but it's notably worse in this case) and decided that she'd just kill him in revenge for 'having the gall' to neglect her, believing that 'bad fathers' like him deserve such a fate. Parasusie killed her father by ambushing him and trampling him to death with her mech. Wow.... just wow. That's extremely brutal, isn't it?
Just gonna say right now that Parasusie is much more brutal than regular Susie.
Regular Susie misses her dad. That she killed him was a complete accident, and she's felt terrible about unintentionally causing his death. In contrast, Parasusie actually killed her dad on purpose and doesn't regret it. She doesn't miss him. She believed that he deserved it for 'abandoning' her and it actually made her feel relieved.
And by the way, Parasusie also used to have a hair clip, as it was also gifted to her by her dad before they were forcibly split apart. But she's long since gotten rid of it. She outright destroyed that hair clip, actually. She completely emotionally detached herself from her dad to the point she unapologetically obliterates anything in his memory.
She happily moves on from her dad and pretends he never existed.
Like with the regular Haltmanns, the parallel Haltmanns also ran a corporation that was very similar to it. Parasusie reluctantly joined her dad's company because she thought it'd make a good opportunity for her to sneak up and kill him. And when the company fell apart after she killed him, she doesn't even bother trying to bring it back. The reason why regular Susie revives the HWC is to honor her dad, and she's operating on the company's originally intended goal of consensually helping people.
Parallel Susie is not the CEO of a technological company like regular Susie is. She doesn't even run a job at all. Instead, she's just chilling around in numerous dimensions, although she loves to build gadgets and be very unhinged with them. Just a weird edgy nomad woman.
By comparison, she's much more of a 'lowlife' than regular Susie.
Her home is in a technological hidey-hole in the Clash dimension.
Parasusie is notably meaner, more crass and more brutal than regular Susie. While regular Susie is also certainly not the nicest person around either, some of her friends have gotten her to gradually soften up over time. She and Kirby are friends. Parasusie, however, most likely wouldn't be interested in being friends with Kirby if they met.
Although Parasusie isn't entirely friendless. She has a total of two friends: Dark Taranza and Shadow Dedede. She met Dark Taranza when he came around in her dimension, and they both came together due to mutual respect of both being utterly insufferable lunatics. Darta invited Parasusie to visit the mirror world occasionally, and that's how she first met Shadow Dedede and become friends.
Wow... I headcanon Parallel Susie and Dark Taranza friendship? Hahaha! Just like how I headcanon the regular versions of Susie and Taranza being buddies. Although it's different here. I headcanon that Parasusie and Darta literally make each other worse, unlike their regular versions which help make each other happier and better.
Her two friends are the reason why her mech has a D-Mind symbol.
The mirror world is a place that Parasusie gives regular visits to. She's not a natural mirror worlder, but she's grown to have something of an affiliation with them. She's met Dark Meta Knight, but they don't get along very well. Although DMK prefers Parasusie over actual Susie LOL. Parasusie has also met Shadow Kirby, and although they very rarely interact, Skirby is very wary of her because of her friendships with both Darta and Shadow Dedede, as he doesn't like those guys.
Parasusie has very different food preferences from regular Susie. Regular Susie is well known for loving ice cream. She's a sweet-tooth. Parasusie instead loves spicy foods, as she enjoys putting hot peppers onto meals, something that regular Susie wouldn't really like.
They also have differences in what they like. Regular Susie absolutely adores cute things; she loves plushies and other kawaii stuff, and she gave the HWC a pink makeover upon reviving it. Parasusie on the other hand does not care about cute things as much. She's far more into goth and edgy stuff. She's basically like a much edgier Susie.
She's also way edgier and more brutal in her sense of humor. They have different tastes of humor that aren't compatible with each other.
Overall, Susie wouldn't get along with her parallel counterpart if they were to meet. It'd probably already freak out her out to meet another version of herself to begin with, but she'd be especially unnerved to meet a version of herself that intentionally committed patricide without any remorse. It would elicit a visceral reaction out of her.
Parasusie would make Susie uncomfortable and even somewhat angry by virtue of just existing. She'd find Parasusie to be repulsive.
On the other hand, Parasusie would probably consider Susie to be pathetic. And if she noticed that Susie still misses her dad and that she keeps things in his memory, Parasusie would probably taunt her by calling her a "daddy's girl", and if she learned about Susie's backstory and how she dealt with being neglected, Parasusie would call her a coward for still caring about a 'dad that was clearly a traitor'.
Most likely, Susie and Parasusie would cat-fight if they met.
Susie's more humorous friends, Magolor and the mage sisters, would find it hilarious to watch Susie beefing with another version of herself.
Anyways... I think that more or less sums up the essences of my headcanons for Susie's edgy red-haired parallel counterpart.
I like to think that Parasusie is less redeemable and is a worse person than regular Susie. But even then, it's not all bad for Parasusie either, as I would not consider her to be irredeemably evil either (that's actually incredibly rare in my Kirbyverse and is just mostly applicable for non-defective Dark Matter). I think I'd just put Parasusie on the same boat as the likes of Dark Taranza and Shadow Dedede, where they're all overall bad people that are worse than their regular counterparts, but not much further than that. Just weird freaks.
But yeah, I think that's it. See y'all more for later posts.

More Mirrorwatch Pharah cause why not.
I've already stated that I think that Pharah in this universe would use her father's last name rather then Ana's, meaning her full name would be "Fareeha English", but I also like to think MW!Pharah absolutely refuses to refer to Ana as her mother unless she has to. Like she will acknowledge that Ana is her mother, but she will more likely call herself Same English's daughter or Cassidy's sister.
I've also talked about MW!Pharah running a gang and I did actually play with the idea that she remade the Deadlock gang, but that was a brief thought because if I'm being honest, the only two people I will ever see running that gang are Ashe and Cassidy. Anyone else feels like a crime. However, since Deadlock is likely not a thing (at least with how I characterize Mirrorwatch), I like to think that MW!Pharah's gang is inspired off of Deadlock and I also fully believe that Frankie is a part of this new gang, either she was asked by Cassidy to keep an eye on Pharah or she's joined of her own accord to keep an eye on her.
For her actual dynamic with MW!Ana herself, I honestly believe that 1, no one knew that Ana had a daughter, as only Sam is mentioned with Ana in thins universe, and 2, Ana never cared about Fareeha. I think she cared about Sam, that being the reason why Ana killed him, but I don't think she would have ever cared about Pharah. I also think that the reason Pharah was still kept around after Sam's death was because at that point, her and Cassidy had formed a bond. Which was something Ana used to train Cassidy.
Basically I think that Ana saw that Cassidy's relationship with Pharah was a good way to teach the lesson she learned by killing same, that emotion and relationships hold a person back from reaching their full potential. Now as I stated in a previous MW!Justice Siblings post Cassidy didn't kill Pharah, but helped her escape and likely helped her fake her death. From there I think she would have formed her gang in Canada.
As for personality I think MW!Pharah would have her cockiness turned up to 11, but her understanding of moral greys and complexities of society are way better then the canon version of her. I also think she'd run a biker gang and be a lot more focused on engineering, either making her own jetpack and rocket launcher or stealing from Helix and upgrading their tech. I also think that Pharah's gang would specifically be a gang of mercenaries, arms dealing be a side job.

Okay so. I've been thinking about Carol recently. I don't know if I ever like. Explained my thoughts about them recently. Mainly it revolves around the idea of them not being part of the trio from the beginning.
It all revolves around the clunkiness I keep feeling with their plot about doing the gym challenge and getting revenge on Rose, and everything that has led up to it. I just feel it's all so....clunky. From how they find out about Rose being their father to the gym challenge to the supposed "betrayal" plot that doesn't really have much context either. Really, admittedly, this is more of a Carol character problem, something that I will address when I get to them. But still, everything around them just feels clunky. So here comes this new concept. It's not polished, and it doesn't fix some things about Carol and their arc.
The changes:
Rose doesn't just leave Cassandra high and dry. He gives her a job at one of his companies, then leaves her high and dry with a baby she wasn't expecting to raise alone.
Because of this, Carol and Cass never moved to Wedgehurst. Carol never met Naomi and Hop. This still makes me very sad cause I absolutely adored those three as friends pre-main story. THIS REALLY HURTS BUT I THOUGHT IT MIGHT HELP WITH THE CLUNKINESS OF CAROL'S STORYLINE.
Carol is still a trouble maker, sneaking into places they shouldn't be in and just being callous. Their mom is still absent and numb, possibly even more so bc of her job.
Carol does not enter the gym challenge. They never had any interest in joining, but are interested in reporting on it ( at least that's what they say). Carol was always planned to be a schemer. Someone who makes plans and sneaks around to execute them. Using the cover of being a young teen reporter gives them slight leeway into areas they usually wouldn't be allowed to go to, and more opportunity to hopefully get more information about Rose. They see Naomi and Hop, who are endorsed by Leon, who works directly under Rose, and then a light bulb goes off in their head before they try to buddy up with the pair.
May or may not have stolen a reporter's pass or something to do this. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if they got away with it, they are. Very good at lying.
Still internet savvy! Something that could be utilized more here. And still likes a good mystery. Tags along with Naomi and Hop just to further their own goals, but the mystery of the galar heroes posed by Sonia just tickles their love for a good puzzle.
This Carol would be....more than willing to throw people under the bus if it means achieving their Big Scoop( since Naomi and Hop ended up being good influences before, they were changing for the better). They...were not expecting to get attached to anyone. Let alone have people get attached to them. They don't think their worth that effort.
I don't know if the blackmail and fall out would still happen? I mean it still could but the context around it would be very different I think.
I think the main problem with this as is with the other version is the why. Why is Carol going to such lengths for this? Does Carol actually care about whether or not Rose left them and their mom? ....Well yes, but it doesn't feel like enough to lie and steal to get to him. Maybe Carol heard something they weren't supposed to? Maybe from the twins, somehow, and it was vague enough that Carol has no clue what they're talking about, but it sparked enough interest for Carol to decide that they just had to look into this. They're smart enough to know Rose is kinda shit- his monopoly and borderline control over galar is clear of that. But to hint that there's something else? That there's something more that Rose has going on? Now that's interesting. Also I think they always had a hunch that Rose was their dad, bc why would their mom be working at a job she isn't really qualified for. They know their mom. She wouldn't seek out working for a company like Rose's and said company wouldn't really hire her in any other scenario. Between that and the few striking similarities between them and Rose and how their mom get's even more cagey when the man is brought up....well. It's not that hard to figure out. At least for Carol.
And yeah! That's the concept right now! I'm. Still sad about the whole " Naomi, Hop and Carol not having known each other pre-main story" cause i ADORE those three together, and their bond means so much to me so. Maybe I'll try and keep that? I dunno. I kinda like this too, hrm.

In honor of the death anniversary of Saint Valentine, where we celebrate his decapitation by giving the same fate to flowers and forgetful boyfriends, we shall be looking at one of the most famous love stories in Chinese mythology. Today, we look at the story of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl.
Now, as with all stories that have already been covered by Red from OSP, I recommend watching her video because she's funny and her chibis are adorable. However there will be new information in this post, so feel free to enjoy both.
The version Red covers begins with the 7 daughters of the Jade Emperor and Xiwangmu sneaking down to the mortal realm for some sisterly skinny dipping, only for Zhinu to have her clothes stolen by a passing herdsman, Niulang. She thinks he's super cute and this theft of her clothes is very endearing, so she decides to stay and marry him while her sisters go back home. This displays a very common myth structure where a man finds a magical lady bathing, takes her clothes, and then marries her. Western myths often have this is often an animal bride, but in Asia the bride is likely to be a celestial maiden who is physically unable to return to heaven without the aid of her special raiment.
This is not the only version of the myth, though. One of my sources claims that Zhinu's father decided she'd been doing such a good job that she deserved a break and actually picked some random cowherd, in this story called Chen Li, to be her husband. His expectation was that she would have a short time of wedded bliss and then come back up to heaven to do her job again. Unfortunately Zhinu was unwilling to just abandon her loving husband and 2 children just to do more work, what a surprise.
In both versions, Zhinu's refusal to return pisses off her parents, who just drag her back up te heaven anyway. Naturally, her husband has some objections about it. However, since he's a mortal he can't really, you know, do anything about it, but he ends up getting help from a very unlikely place. Those who've watch Red's video may remember Niulang's "super intelligent ox he's had this whole time, don't even worry about it." Well, this magic ox has a bit of a backstory. It's actually a divine spirit, the Ox Star, that was being punished for some crime by laboring for humanity and was currently under the care of Niulang/Chen Li. In some tellings the ox was even the one who directed his master to the pool where the divine maidens were bathing and told him to steal their clothes, so you could say he's more than a little invested in their relationship. The ox's punishment was conveniently almost over, so he told Chen Li to wait until he died and take his skin and wear it as a cloak, and then he would be able to see his wife again. Chen Li did so and, taking his 2 kids with him, flies up to heaven to go get their mom back.
Unsurprisingly Zhinu's parents didn't take too kindly to this breech of their daughter's forever grounding, so they cut in between the lovers. Some versions say that Xiwangmu cleaved the sky with her hairpin, while others say the Jade Emperor threw a silver scarf down. Either way, the Milky Way was formed to keep the couple separated. This made Zhinu so sad that she would cry, causing soft rains. Eventually, her parents felt kinda bad for, you know, ripping apart this loving family and forever denying their daughter her husband and children, so they decided to let them meet for a whole day every year! On that day, magpies would fly up and make a bridge over the Milky Way so that the family could be together again.
Then they'd be separated again til next year.
Thanks mom and dad.

biography
raised in nevada near the las vegas strip! by his mama. she moved there in her 20s in search of fame n' fortune but she eventually just got stuck at the stripping job she initially took to help jumpstart her career. when she had max, she had to take other measures so she had the $$$ to raise him. even if it meant pulling him into scams she'd pull on tourists and forcing him to tag along on her rounds as an avon rep because 'it sells better when you flash 'em your big puppy dog eyes, maxie'. things like that stick with max as he grows older, starts perusing the strip with his friends for victims of his own. all to make a quick buck.
one day, she just so happened to pick the wrong tourist to try n' scam and nearly ended up in something resembling a fistfight (resembling because the guy was a head taller than her and she wouldn't have lasted a second) when a good samaritan butts in and defends her!!! scares the big lug away. the moment his mama learns that said good samaritan was a politician from los angeles (ie. $$$$$$$), she's laying the charm on thick. he's older (ie. balding), mild-mannered, in need of a good ego stroke so it's not long before they're getting hitched and max is on a one-way flight to los angeles! he's just 14 then.
max doesn't like it at first. doesn't like how stuffy and snobby everyone seems. hates his moms weird new husband too. but he wins max over in time, and they grow to have a genuinely wholesome relationship! so much so that max decides he'd like to be a politician, just like him. he's surely got the charisma for it, says his now father. but he never did grow out of his knack for causing trouble and pullin' a fast one on just about anybody, courtesy of his mom, so there's a real moral struggle there. but all politicians are a little slimy, right? what does it matter if he cut corners if it meant the greater good coming to fruition? ends justify the means, always always always.
golden state is a no brainer. his father went there and his father before him. and now max was one of them! so he'd go too. he didn't even think he'd go to college, so it's all a little foreign to him and he does just about anything to pass. and i do mean anything. he evens joins a few clubs! look at him go!
of course, it's not without a few problems. a couple months after his 21st, him n' his buddies went to a casino just to say they have. max ended up pocketing 8k and has been chasing that high ever since. it's escalated in the past couple of months, what with law school coming up for him shortly. he's started stealing his parent's valuables to have money to gamble with. turns out he's still just that kid on the strip lookin' to make a quick buck.
personality
very theatrical! the son of a politician and a retired scammer, so he is ever the showman and the smooth talker. he knows it too, so he can be up his own ass but his devil-may-care attitude and general amiableness means he is a guaranteed good time.
if chaotic neutral was a person. strikingly dishonest and flaky. but again!!! the ends justify the means for max. and the ends is always the best outcome for his loved ones.
SO tacky, especially as it relates to his appearance!! mismatched prints and loud colors and the whole nine yards. the rate at which he buys new clothes, it's like you can just tell having so much money is a very new prospect to him. not that he wears hella name brands but it's just very lee in bones and all coded. the little brown western shirt, the floral shirt and the grandma cardigan!! yeah!! he doesn't let it go to waste either, if it doesn't fit he's just take scissors to it and wear it anyways. takes great care to look the way he does (ie. just slightly disheveled at all times). in a permanent state of looking for the next reflective surface to check how his hair's sitting.
catchphrase is "i hardly know her"
runs on one redbull and a cigarette and that's it
also, don't think i mentioned it so i thought i'd tack it here at the end, but i figured michael kepler's parents and max's would run in the same social circles and whatnot

When you rewatch the show, it's even more insane how calculated Farr truly was from the beginning, now that you know her role.
After the phone call, she instructed Peter to go immediately. She knew Hawkins had connections to the Campells, and being alone with their niece, he might have gotten the answers Farr wanted to hide. Also, when she hired Peter, it was for this purpose exactly. She was lucky the infamous Peter Sutherland was the agent on the metro, so he already had a connection she could later use against him if shit were to go down sideways. Farr probably thought it was easier for the assassins to kill Rose with just Peter that night, given he didn't have field experience, and if push came to shove, they could blame it all on him. When Peter and Rose survived that night, she changed her plans, meaning she would definitely use him now as the fall guy either way. Farr used the connection between Rose and Peter, emphasizing how important it is and playing into Peter's emotions by stating he has to keep Rose safe. She knows Peter is an upstanding guy. He cares a lot, and he wouldn't question her because she groomed him for a year, played the nice caring mentor he desperately wanted. Idk if she set up the assassins to come to Rose at the hotel when Peter arrived, but I guess she would then use Peter's anger if he were too late to rescue Rose and direct it to Hawkins (whom Peter already hated and Farr already planted the seed that Hawkins might be the traitor). But again she didn't calculate for Peter's skills and Roses influence to question authority for the first time. If Rose had given Peter the drive without them trying to steal the information, Farr would have manipulated it in a way that Hawkins would have stayed the fall guy.
When Rose suggested Peter and her are finishing the night action, she immediately played along. This was the best case scenario for her, with Rose not giving up she needed someone else to blame because Hawkins was not the perfect victim. What better than the guy who was already a suspect in the first place.
I mean Farr is terrifying, she doesn't seem to have any empathy for the situation besides to save her own ass and the presidents. When Peter found out about her involvement, my heart broke for him because yet again someone he looked up to betrayed him. Also good for Travers for seeing right through Farr, like shit I wouldn't buy the story Peter was behind Maddies kidnapping. Travers knew about Peter investigating the night action, she also knew him personally. Plus it's stupid of him to announce he is the kidnapper in the White House where he was likely to get arrested.
As you said if it wasn't for Rose, Peter would have ended in prison because he unknowingly would have helped Farr who would then dispose him to cover her own ass. I hope this betrayal will have a significance in s2, Peter can't trust the instruction. His entire life he's been betrayed, first his dad, then Jim, his ex fiancée and then Farr, the person he trusted so much he would have risked his life for. If I were him I would have taken a payout that would last my entire life and then I would vanish from the face of earth because fuck all of that.
Ugh! Poor Peter! You’re right, Farr’s betrayal was probably on the same level as his father and Jim’s. Can’t anyone take care of Peter like he deserves!
Desperately desperately wish Peter had gone through with his original plan to get a cabin somewhere and disappear. Him and Rose could’ve had their happily ever after.
Very curious to see where next season will take Peter. Cause, yes Farr sucks, but don’t tell me for a second that Travers didn’t manipulate him into taking the night agent job either! The “I wish I could tell you more” and “you could do so much good” lines. She knew exactly what to say to play into Peter’s weaknesses.
Amazing analysis on Farr! I agree, she never misses a bit throughout the season, always so collected. Made the reveal that much more shocking for the audience. I’d have to rewatch one more time but there was a moment in the beginning where Farr is telling Peter to take Rose in ep 1 and she says “you don’t tell her anything. She doesn’t tell you anything.” Made me wonder if, at least a little, she had grown to care about Peter at all. Like, if Rose knew something but kept her mouth shut then maybe they could kill Rose quickly and she’d never have to use Peter as the fall guy. I think that was the only instance that made me think that. Everything else was just Farr covering her own ass.
The scene with Ross and Farr at the end was perfection. Farr will get what’s coming to her

002.  EXTRA ORDINARY
the questions here for each section are suggestions to get you thinking. as long as the section is appropriately elaborated upon, you’re fine!
near death experience…  one of the few times that Claudio agreed to team up with a coworker on a project, and they explode the building. Claudio found himself close to death. he tried her best to claw his way out of the rubble and inventions that he had made...but it was no use. thankfully, the rescue services managed to find him. otherwise he’s afraid he may not have ever gotten the chance to become as successful as she was.
power…  he can create anything he sets his mind to. he just needs access to the resources and equipment.
drawbacks / vulnerabilities…  he can't just magically make the thing appear. he has to get the supplies and actually create it. He doesn’t have telekinesis or anything like that to help him out unfortunately!
(if applicable)  cerberus corp…  after hearing of his company, they recruited his coorperation to help them with testing. the company has a great track record in both inventing and science, and he doesn't plan on stopping now.
codename… tinker. it's what the news gave him when they caught the man playing with some electral wiring while trying to steal some supplies. Personally? he hates the name, but he's not going to waste precious time trying to think of some silly name.
003.  EXTRA
an optional section where you can give a bio / stats / pinterest / spotify / connections you’re looking for.
Bio:
Even at a young age, if you asked Claudio Rivera what his biggest fear was? The young boy would say that it was to be unsuccessful. Poor. His parents struggled to keep a job. And he saw the struggles they put up with, especially his mother. Granted, the alcohol and drugs definitely didn't help. His mother was a stripper while her husband bummed off of her. Sometimes he would try to keep a job, although most of the time? He didn't. But Claudio’s mother loved him regardless, which Claudio thought she was crazy for doing so. He wasn't contributing around the house...He wasn't making money...He was useless. And as they got behind on bills more and more? He got more unbearable as the stress mounted. It wasn’t exactly uncommon to hear a cry of pain from either a young Claudio or his mother around the house.
Which is why Claudio couldn't wait to leave. He had been saving up for years. Money that he’s hid most of his life. And while his father had taken some of it here and there when he came across it? He’s been better at hiding it. And when he finally had enough money? Claudio decided to go to college. He wanted to be a inventor. So he got a degree in engineering and a science degree. Although he focused on the engineering, and his partner focused more on the science and medical. The two worked hard. And sure...Some of the stuff they did? Wasn't exactly legal.
He created stuff for companies. Great inventions that anyone would be happy to have. Although his favorite things to create was definitely weaponry. His partner and himself also dabbled in medical studies as well. One day, his partner had taken it a step too far. Testing on a human when they clearly weren't ready. It caused a series of events, and led to the entire building blowing up while Claudio had been working on one of his inventions. He ended up burried underneath. He pushed, clawed, squirmed...Even while impaled. He wasn't going to die here...Claudio COULDN'T die here. There was still so much shit he had left to do. And he wasn't going to let his partner's mistake cost him his life.
And it didn't. What it did do, however? Was open another door to him. Omnifabrication. He could think of what he wanted to build, and know just how exactly to do it. What materials Claudio would need. And sure, some of those things take time to acquire and what not. But now that he could craft things that were breakthroughs and thought to be merely fictional before? He was a resource that many people clamored for. And his company? Absolutely flourished. Claudio quickly became rich, and one of the most powerful men in the world. And he acted like it. He took care of his mother, although made sure his father didn't get a penny after he left Claudio’s mother for some other woman.
Cerberus approached him and made Claudio a deal though. All of this money for some inventions. And how could he say no? At first, he just created weapons and other items for them. But then he began testing things for them and allowing them to test at a safe place in his building. And then Claudio began dabbling in researching their people for them. All in all? He may not be a agent. But he definitely has agency within cerberus. And that's perfectly okay with him.
Claudio became a anti-hero over time. At first? He was simply a villain. Stealing supplies when he needed them before his business went off and became as successful and powerful as it did. Hell, he even stole from Cerberus a time or two and was never caught. However, now? He’s a anti-hero. Using his inventions and his skills to protect people through his rough way. Although he’s definitely not a full fledged hero. He still uses his powers selfishly and isn’t afraid to work against some heroes to put himself in a better position, or even to work with some villains if he thinks it’s best. He’s trained in many forms of combat, and he is a perfect shot. Often times using guns, knives, and staffs more than actual hand to hand combat. He goes by the name Tinker, although personally? He despises the name. But he has things to do, and making some silly alias? Wasn't anywhere near the top of his list.

Combining my love for Lego with my one shot series.
Tumblr media
I enjoy Lego. When I do see Lego related media, I enjoy them as well. The Lego Star Wars Movies. The Lego Superhero Movies. The Lego movies as is. But one thing I haven’t done is check out any of their TV Series. I heard good things about them, but never checked them out. But I figured, since I just purchased a DVD of their Second Season, I should try that out. So how will it go?
It starts with a recap of last time: a giant snake shows up, causes havoc and only Garmadon (I’m surprised I spelled it right the first time) could stop it with the Golden Weapons. But being a villain and all, he steals them after saving the day. Fair payment if you ask me. Then the intro that luckily for me displays the names of the heroes. I wonder if I could remember it.
Tumblr media
The Red one, Kai, is upset that despite them still having Spinjutsu, they lost everything else. No elemental powers. No vehicles. The Dragons are out of commission and they now have no place to live. The others seem to not mind since they like helping but the girl, Nya, found a realtor to help them find a new place while she and her father (and their sensei) go try to fix their Ninja Tank.
We then cut to some snake characters. They lost their home because one of them summoned that dragon. Then Lord Garmadon shows up to offer his help for their servitude. One of the snakes wanted them to follow him, but Garmadon had the better offer. So there’s this apparent prophecy that Garmadon would be beaten by Lloyd, so what would the obvious thing to do if you’re a supervillain?
Tumblr media
If you think you should kill Lloyd before that happens, you are correct. But apparently a plot twist from the Ninjago movie that I saw the trailer for is actually canon. Garmadon is Lloyd’s father and he doesn’t want to kill him. But get rid of the sensei and you’ll get rid of the chance of him rising up and defeating him. That's a pretty good twist for a villain. And they’re going to the Golden Peaks to learn more about the Golden ninja weapons.
Back with the Ninjas, they got no money so they don’t have a lot of options. While the black ninja, Cole, wants to just take this one room apartment since they just need to focus on training the kid, Lloyd, Kai and the Blue Ninja, Jay?, think they should live somewhere where they could be more comfortable, like Lloyd who should have his own room. The robot, Zane, because you can easily tell he’s a robot, was going to agree with Cole until the others convinced him.
Tumblr media
The next room is much better, between having actual luxuries and a training facility, but to keep it they need to get jobs. It started off well, but eventually it gets worse for the older ninjas. And because they have to work so hard to afford rent, they aren’t training Lloyd like they’re supposed to. Back to the leftover Snakes who didn’t join Garmadon, they try to figure out a plan to win back the other snakes.
Jay is put in a situation where he has to decide to either deliver the pizza on time or save a person being attacked for her purse. He picked the latter and when he arrived to deliver the Pizza, it was the Snakes. They just wanted Pizza but considered Jay a bonus. The snakes are planning a bank robbery and Cole happens to be a guard there. Too bad he’s sleeping on a double shift.
Tumblr media
Thing is even if he wasn’t, the snakes managed to break into the safe by going underground and by the time he got there they were gone. So this is not his fault that they don’t have guards within the safe. Kai and Zane leave their jobs to help out in the bank but also lose their jobs. And credit to Cole, he’s still wanting to help bring back the money despite being fired. Again, not his fault.
In the subway, the Ninjas fight the snakes. No weapons mean this would be a tricky fight. And even worse, the boss Snake planned for them to find them in the subway so he can kidnap Lloyd. Lloyd tried to escape, but the entrance is child safety locked and he doesn’t know the password. Which is a shame since the snake is entering via the window. The sensei and Nya showed up, but they’re locked out.
Tumblr media
The Ninjas managed to make makeshift weapons and defeated the snakes. They also found Jay and stopped the train before it ran him over. Sadly the other snakes escaped while that was happening. They got back and figured they were too late, but it turns out the Sensei and Nya saved the day. The older ninjas learned their lesson and they decided to go to that first apartment.
The episode actually ends with Garmadon giving up the Golden Weapons for a Golden Staff that increased his power. The Sensei senses this all the way in Ninjago city. Overall, I think it's okay. Even as a Season 2 opener it introduced us to the characters, the story and everything we need to know about watching this series. While it doesn’t explain everything (we should accept the robot without question, that’s probably a Season 1 storyline) I can see why people like it.
Tumblr media
But will I continue? I don’t think so. It just isn’t for me. Maybe if they’re more 2D animated...

General OCs
Quick Reference for OCs that are either fandomless, or created for specific scenerios that don't exactly belong under an umbrella.
Thus meaning I can also throw them into like any scenerio or universe
Again, full information can be found on Caard
Name: Jesse
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Age: 27 Gender: Male Race:Human Sexuality:Bisexual Height: 5'7" Occupation: - Convenience store clerk. He often has a hard time finding or keeping jobs due to his history of arrests and thievery, as well as... things from his past occasionally popping up and causing problems. -Amatuer Cryptid/Supernatural Hunter. He doesn't want to and isn't interested in a fight or to kill them. Rather he's a lot more curious, often putting himself in potential, or obvious danger just to either prove to himself they are they he thinks, or because he wants to make friends or something even if they don't. History: Jesse grew up near the coast as an only child, though that wasn't always the plan in his family. When he was in middle school his father was arrested which affected the way him and his mother lived immensely from then on. She worked extremely hard to try to keep their way of life the way it was, and Jesse began to distance himself from his friends during his stuggles in highschool while his father was in prison, unable to visit him due to his mothers request, which he had no want to go against anyway.
When he did begin to make friends again, he'd gotten tied into people that encouraged his more disruptive behaviour, teaching and encouraging him to learn to pick locks, steal things, light things in fire and just be a minor menace. He'd gotten arrested many times in highschool, but was always able to get out of it when he did. Most of the time when he did steal something, it was something nice for his mother, or something he could sell to give her the money for. Surprisingly, he'd graduated but unsurprisingly never went on to go to college, instead continueing with his minor crimes with various different crews until eventually he decided to try to stop and make money properly as to not dissapoint or upset his mother any further.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gender: Female Height: 5'5" Race: God (previously human) Dominion: Death- Specifally of the afterlife and the passing over of life into death. Symbols: Marekanite (by association Obsidian),Gladiolus flower About: Asaka came from a time when there were no gods anymore, as they had all died out long ago. Since she was born it seems death followed in one way or another, whether it was due to her own actions or not. Due to that, she never stayed in one location for long for one reason or another, and became known as a destructive Omen, gaining the surname Bela, a devouring destruction.
Eventually as sparks of divinity started to awaken in people, in rumour of gods returning began to sprout, she became labled as a goddess of death before she could even have any say or control.
Visions and dreams brought her to a place where she learnt of prophecies fulfilled by the gods to bring godhood and peace back to the people. She was reluctant at first, but curious of this thing inside of her really was a sign of divinity.
Over time and completion of these, she gained followers and faith, gaining divinity and unintentionally creating new funerary rites to accept the dead into her new afterlife she formed, while helping them transition from life into death, as well as other matters involding life and or death, mourning and such related matters.

ABOUT
Marcella remembers missing her father terribly when Carina moved her and her siblings to Griffin. She never understood why they had to leave, and why their dad couldn’t come with them. After he went to prison, Marce often wondered if he’d have avoided it if he’d come with them to Griffin in the first place.
Growing up, she and her two siblings traded places being their mom’s headache or problem child. And despite her “rebel without a cause” demeanor, Marce often took on the responsibilities of the oldest girl in a latin family, helping with laundry and cleaning and cooking dinner while their mom was working and resenting it the entire time. She was also quite the instigator, encouraging Xavier’s less than stellar behavior and antagonizing Ines over silly things. Still, if anyone said anything less than kind about or to her siblings, she would be the first to defend them.
As she got older, she found that she respected and appreciated her mother’s efforts more. Before prison, her father’s visits didn't ever feel long enough, and when he was in prison, Marce resented him for it. She knows he loves them but she was never able to understand how he let it happen – how he chose the life he did over them.
She stopped sending consistent letters part way through his stint in prison and went to the minimum of birthday and father’s day cards, with the occasional update letter thrown in. She loves her dad, but the wounds of his absence run deep. During that time, she began to understand her mother more and more that when changing their name became a topic of conversation, Marcella didn’t agonize over it.
She wasn’t the nicest growing up but she wasn’t exactly a mean girl either. Image was ever important to her and she got in the habit of curating an aesthetic for herself that made it look like they were better off than they were. And, from the time she was fifteen, she was working after-school jobs too. At first it was bagging groceries, then it was at a cafe and then as a waitress.
Higher education might’ve been nice if she’d had the funds, but she wasn’t about to apply for loans (and get denied), so she began working as a bartender locally and started her own side-business of online shopping and reselling.
When she accidentally spilled the beans on Xav’s drugs, and he got sent away, Marce felt an immense sense of guilt. It fractured their friendship and she spent the next year only sporadically talking to her brother. Now that they’re moving back to Atlanta, she’s uncertain what her path is but she knows that she needs to build bridges with Xavier and her father.
EXTRA
She has a journal of unsent letters to her dad. She stopped sending them after a while but kept writing, almost like she was talking to him daily.
Marce is quite proud of how lucrative her online reselling business has become. Her closet is a reflection of it but she still hides price tags from her mother and sister.
She'll never admit it but, now that she's back in Atlanta, she's intrigued by the Reapers. The only thing keeping her back (besides her mother's ire), is the fact that she resents them a bit for stealing their father away from them.

Old Wounds
Danny’s secret is not a secret anymore.
The lines between Fenton and Phantom have long since blurred. And it’s a common occurrence for news reporters to trip over their tongue when flagging him down, mid-transformation, for a post-fight interview. “Phanton.” “Fentom.” So often that, to most now, he is just Danny.
When Danny wants upgrades to his gear, he comes to his mother. When Danny learns a quirky new element of Ghost Zone lore, he brings it to his father. When the Amity Park Ghost Alarm is raised, he’s first on the scene with the Fenton RV right on his non-corporeal heels.
When he’s injured, Danny comes only to his friends and sister.
Jazz notices the pattern. How it is only her, or only Sam, or only Tucker who receives the late-night knock at the window glass, with her brother on the other side, corny sheepish smile on display and arm or leg or shoulder held up in explanation.
Jazz notices how hushed Danny remains, day or night, when he comes to her for first aid. How he speaks in that same hesitant muted tone as he did when all of this was still a secret. How he quiets himself in the way injured prey animals do.
Jazz doesn’t feel it’s her place to ask. Not yet, at least. Eventually. But not yet.
The window is open. Honeysuckle-sweet gusts of late-spring air swirl through Jazz’s room and tease away the sheen of sweat that has collected on her brow. She cannot wipe it away herself, not with both hands meticulously occupied in tweezering out the singed fabric from her brother’s arm.
Danny winces, and hisses, and Jazz frees another thread from its embedded hold in Danny’s burn wound.
“It’s kind of like… summer vacation when we were kids and we’d get splinters visiting Aunt Alicia’s lake house,” Jazz remarks with another careful tug. “…If we can call it a lake house.”
“Lake shed,” Danny replies, grinning through the sweat shining on his pale face. “And I think every part of that dock was an OSHA violation.” He laughs through another wince.
“Dad was the king of tweezers. I think he got out every splinter that dock ever gave me.” Jazz pauses. “I wonder why that was. Think it’s the needlepoint?”
“It’s definitely the needlepoint,” Danny agrees.
Jazz hesitates on the question lingering behind her tongue. Just a little too long. Just a little too obviously.
“What?” Danny asks.
Jazz’s hand falters. She puts the tweezers down. “Danny, I will always always be happy to help you like this. Same goes for Sam, same goes for Tucker, I know. I’m positive. But I wonder why… not Mom or Dad?” Jazz eyes the tweezers, glinting in the moonlight. “I’m just… I’m thinking how much cleaner this might be if you got Dad to do it. And Mom’s got like, wilderness survival level first aid expertise. I can’t help thinking I’m hurting you more by it being… me, you know?”
Danny looks at her, and looks past her a moment. His grin slips a fraction into discomfort as his eyes leave hers. “Maybe I just like the excuse to invade your room.”
“Danny…” Jazz waits until he looks at her again. “Are you afraid they’ll make you stop if they realize you’re getting injured?”
Danny lets out a puff of air from behind his lips. “No, never. I mean, maybe if I got really really injured they’d say something. But just getting a little roughed up? I think it’s about on par with a kid coming home from football practice with a few scrapes, at least, in their eyes. They get more banged up than me these days. I’m not worried.”
Jazz reaches for the bottle of disinfectant. She unscrews the cap to a biting alcohol smell. “…So will you tell me why?”
“Why what?”
“Why you won’t ever go to them with injuries? Ever?”
Cotton swab, pure silver under the moonlight. Jazz douses it gently, a muted glug-glug from the bottle.
“…I’m that obvious about it, huh?”
“You’re obvious about most things. This’ll be cold.” Jazz applies the swab to the open wound, and Danny hisses in turn.
“Yeah. Cold. And stingy. Cold and stingy.” After a few seconds, the tension eases out of Danny’s body. He droops a little, shoulders slumped, and Jazz pulls the cotton swab away.
“Are you ashamed of your injuries?”
“No.”
“Are you worried Mom and Dad’ll make them worse?”
“Nah. You said it yourself, those two are weird, unconventional medical experts.”
“Then why not?”
A beat of silence follows. A moment of trepidation. Awash in moonlight, Danny looks up at her, and the glow in his green eyes has a life of its own. “I don’t want them to see the injuries that have already healed.”
“Why would that be a problem?” Jazz looks again. Danny’s suit covers most everything, save now for the one sleeve that’s been rolled back. She sees what she already knew was there – what isn’t obvious to the eye not searching – threads of white ridges, puckers of skin, a faded rashy texture of what had once been an ectoblast burn. Old injuries. Long healed. Faded and fading further. “Those are all healed now. Just some scars, right…?”
Danny hesitates.
“I don’t want them to figure out how many of those scars they caused.”
A gust of wind steals the antiseptic smell from the room. Jazz sits with the silence. She thinks, and she processes.
“Oh…”
Danny straightens. “They kind of… live in this world where hunting ghosts is all fun and games, you know? Like it’s a sport, like they can just get into go-mode and jump into the fun. I don’t think they’ve figured out yet that they can—could—did …cause damage.”
Danny adjusts himself on Jazz’s bed, one leg pulled up, body angled to face her directly. He doesn’t let his eye contact wander now. “They both apologized. Definitely. Like that definitely happened, back at the start of this. But it was kind of like ‘We must’ve given you so much trouble Danny! How’d you come home every day and not bite our heads off over that?’ Like. Again. Like it’s a game. Like they’d been knocking my chess pieces over for a year and not—”
Danny falters. He raises his uninjured arm and tucks the hair away from his face. “And I don’t… want it to click for them. What I have right now with Mom and Dad is so nice… It’s so much better than I even imagined. I want it to stay like this. Forever, if possible.”
“Danny…”
“And even that actually—maybe I’m actually wrong about that. Completely wrong. About their reaction, I mean. It’s possible maybe they’d see everything and just go,” Danny deepens his voice, “‘Wow! We did a number on you, huh? Man Danny I don’t know how you didn’t just smack us over the breakfast table every morning.’ you know? Like that. Like this was all just always a game. And they—and I-- …I like how relaxed ghost hunting is with them. I actually like that it feels like a game. I don’t ever want to go back to feeling how scared and afraid and unsafe and hurt I was that first year. ...But I’m afraid of how it would feel to know that maybe they’d see that, look at it all, everything they did and the scars like the actual proof and it—if it wouldn't ever be real to them. If they'd never get that it was like that. If they still wouldn’t realize—you know? That they—if they—I don’t uh…” Danny drops his eyes, and he shrinks in on himself. “I don’t know how to explain it…”
“No I—Danny I know what you’re saying. Don’t worry. Danny, I—”
“Either answer. Any answer. I don’t want to know… I don’t actually want to know.” Danny angles himself away again, feet dropped over the side of Jazz’s bed, staring down at the hands in his lap. “If it would horrify them, then I’d be ruining all the good things I have with them right now. And if it wouldn’t horrify them—” Danny falls quiet. The breeze has stilled. The room is colder now. “…then I think I just don’t ever want to know.”
Jazz nods, and nods harder.
“I get it. I get it. That’s a good enough answer for me, Danny, I promise. I’m your first aid person, okay? I won’t ask again. Thanks for… thanks for telling me, Danny.”
"Can always trust you to bring up the difficult conversations huh? Of course that's always been your thing. Talking to you is--well I'd say it's like pulling teeth, but maybe it's more like pulling ecto-demolished hazmat suit fabric out of a burn wound."
Danny offers a sheepish grin - it's an olive branch, a request to lighten the mood. Jazz meets it with her own small grin that does not touch her eyes.
"Yeah yeah, I'm your older sister. It's my job to be a pain. Now sit still, I need to be more of a pain if we're gonna de-hazmat suit your injury."
She picks the tweezers back up. The silence rings with an echo in her head now. Jazz focuses her attention back on her task, and she finds something she was wrong about before:
There is nothing faded about the scars that web up and down her little brother’s arm. They are stark streaks of lightning, glowing silver under the moonlight. And Jazz wonders how many others—how many that flaked away and melded back with healthy skin—how many of those might still be living, lingering, a permanent part of her little brother, buried well beneath the surface…

brunch — jj maybank x kook!reader
𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭:  “ Can you do a jj x reader? He's a waiter at the club and her family is there for brunch, her parents don't know about their relationship and are kinda rude to him. Reader's done with their attitude and deffends jj and reveals their relationship by accident and her parents get mad. Love all your fics, you're so talented! ”
𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭: 1.6k
𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: just some angst and an outburst! rude parents
𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒓'𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒆: sorry this took forever to get out! school semester just started, along with a new job. and I’m finally in the process of feeling better. I’m posting this on mobile so sorry if they layout is weird, but I hope you enjoy!
Y/N sat at the table, her parents sitting across from her as they stared at the menu. According to her parents, the world ran around them. They didn’t seem to care that they would take more than enough time to order and then usher the waiter over whenever it would be convenient for them. They would manage to make brunch turn into dinner with the amount of time they would sit at the table and slowly pick at the bread for an appetizer while slowly sipping their mimosas.
Y/N enjoyed going out for meals, but never with her parents. Sometimes she felt like she had to babysit them, especially with how they treated employees. She always apologized whenever the waiter would catch a glance at Y/N and she would give them an apologetic smile. Not to mention the amount of times she would slip in a few extra bills for the tip. Her parents were harsh when it came to the working class, which she didn’t quite understand.
But today at the Kildare Country Club, Y/N’s boyfriend would be their waiter.
JJ Maybank.
Y/N’s secret Pogue boyfriend. He was the boy that her parents would fear for her to fall in love with because they knew all too well about his family and their history. Her parents would remind her of the “better” selection of boys to pick from, which either included Kelce or Topper. Luckily her parents never mentioned Rafe Cameron—it’s almost like they knew in their gut that he wasn’t the best candidate to date.
Y/N’s parents feared that Pogues will just use her to get further in life and that she’s just some doormat to her friends. But that wasn’t the case at all, if anything—Y/N was the glue to the friend group after she began dating JJ.
A few lies a week would keep her parents fooled, thinking she was spending her time studying or volunteering when in reality, she was relaxing at the Chateau or lounging on the HMS Pogue in JJ’s lap as they sipped on cheap beers.
“Good morning, folks. My name is JJ and I’ll be your waiter today. Can I start you off with anything to drink?” The blonde flashed his smile at the table, his eyes meeting Y/N’s. A comfort washed over the girl, his gaze always soothed any tension built in her body.
“Isn’t it Mimosa Sunday?” Her mother glanced upwards from the menu, voice flat.
“Yes, m’am. Bottomless Mimosas all Sunday.” JJ replied.
“Then get it started. Y/N would have a glass of water.” Her mother’s eyes flickered back to the menu. Y/N pursed her lips, shifting in her seat.
“What would you like to drink, miss?” JJ asked Y/N, ignoring her mother’s statement. Her eyes widened and she cleared her throat.
“I’ll take a sweet ice tea, please. With a side of water, please.” She made sure to emphasize the word ‘please’ around her parents. A term to slip their vocabulary whenever they were brought face to face with the working class.
“Y/N, don’t waste your calories on a drink.” Her mother shook her head.
“It’d be okay and I don’t want to talk about that right now in front of the waiter.” She remarked through her teeth, eyes looking back between her parents and her boyfriend.
“One sweet tea and bottomless Mimosas coming right up.” He jotted the order on his pad before turning on his heel. Y/N’s father cleared his throat and it caught JJ’s attention.
“Young man, we weren’t done ordering. We would like to place an order for an appetizer.”
Y/N could feel her shoulders ache from how pinched they were with tension. Her parents absolutely embarrassed her to no end with their lack of consideration or manners. She’s surprised they got this far in life by treating people like this. They were no different than any other person.
“We would like the Mini Herb Smoked Salmon Frittatas with Deviled Eggs.” Y/N’s father read off the menu.
“I’ll get that in as soon as possible, sir. And I’ll be right out with the drinks.” He smiled before walking away. He glanced back at his girlfriend and sent her a reassuring smile, trying to let her know that he was doing okay.
She knew her parents weren’t the worse to deal with, but they could be difficult.
“I’m surprised they allow a Maybank to work at this establishment. He probably steals all the soaps and colognes from the bathroom and sells them on the street.” Her father laughed, shaking his head.
“Oh honey, you’re probably right. His father is such a sleaze, I wouldn’t be surprised if he makes the boy bring home scraps from the dumpster!”
“I’m sorry, but what the hell is wrong with you both?” Y/N questioned, her eyebrows furrowed as she stared in distaste at her parent’s banter.
“Excuse me, young lady. Watch your language.” Her father reprimanded.
“Excuse me? Excuse you! You don’t even know JJ and you’re talking poorly about him. Obviously, he is working hard to make money. Bold of you to assume that he isn’t a hard worker—but he is. Do you not see him mowing lawns for the neighbors? Helping Hayward run groceries on the docks? If his family’s wealth is such an issue to you, why not help donate clothes and food to him?” Y/N’s outburst caught other tables' attention. She stood up in her spot, her hands clenching the table cloth.
“Y/N, you are causing a scene. You need to sit down right now or else you’re in major trouble.” Her mother’s voice was sharp.
JJ walked to the table, pretending to be oblivious to his girlfriend’s statements, which the whole restaurant practically heard her defending him. “Here are the Mimosas and the sweet tea. The starters will be out shortly. Can I get you anything else in the meantime?” He faked a smile.
“I don’t care if I’m causing a scene, because you’re causing a problem! You’re being rude for absolutely I reason towards JJ.” She remained standing and JJ stood there awkwardly, unsure of what the right move would be in this situation.
“Why do you care about this, Pogue? He has no meaning to our lives—he doesn’t benefit society, sweetheart.” Her father spoke in a softer tone.
“You’re unbelievable, dad! JJ Maybank is a human being who works to survive! He isn’t some scummy person and—in fact, he is my boyfriend! Mom, Dad, meet my boyfriend, JJ Maybank.” Y/N finally snapped and she gestured towards the blonde who stood there. He looked like a deer in headlights.
“Y/N, stop embarrassing the poor boy at work and yourself.” Her mother’s face grew red—she wasn’t sure if it was from anger or embarrassment herself.
“I’m not embarrassing myself, mom. This is my boyfriend. We’ve been dating for a few months now and this is where I’ve been. I’ve been dating a Pogue. You’re sweet, precious daughter is dating this Pogue. And he is actually fantastic and cares about me—more than you two ever do!” She threw her fabric napkin on the table before reaching into her purse. She pulled out a rather large dollar bill and stuffed it into JJ’s pocket. “Here is a tip that they won’t be giving you, babe. But I think you deserve it.” Y/N kissed his cheek before walking away from the table.
JJ cleared his throat and looked around the area, “would you like a different waiter, today?”
Y/N went inside the Country Club and paced around the entrance way. She ran a hand through her hair and she tried calming herself down. She had never had that much confidence to confront her parents like that, but she knew she would face the consequences when she would go home.
A hand clamped down on her shoulder and she turned around to face her boyfriend.
“JJ—I am so sorry all of that happened and—“ He interrupted her by cupping her cheeks and pulling her in for a kiss.
“You’re so hot when you’re mad and defending me.” He whispered against her lips. She let out a light laugh and they kissed once more. “You don’t need to apologize babe, what you did was awesome. Insane, but awesome.”
“My parents are going to kill me,” she laughed again. The reality setting in quickly.
“Then stay at the Chateau with me tonight. What’s gonna happen that’s not already? Plus, we can sleep together and I can have you tell everyone how you had a scene at brunch.” He teased, his fingers playing with the ends of her hair.
“That…that sounds nice.” She sighed, closing her eyes. JJ pressed a kiss to the temple of her head.
“I also put in your breakfast order if you wanna eat at the bar. I used the money you gave me for it.” He tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. She looked at him gratefully.
“You’re the best, J. I love you,”
“Even if I’m a Pogue?”
“Most definitely if you’re a Pogue. I wouldn’t want it any other way.”
