a) Astarion was alive and in Baldur's Gate during the Bhaalspawn crisis, even if he wasn't. Paying a lot of attention.

b) He knows at least enough popular culture to fanboy over Drizzt Do'Urdan.

I posit: Astarion knows exactly who Jaheira and Minsc are and is barely restraining his fanboying when he meets them (mostly because Karlach got in first and more loudly) and later when they're not listening he and Karlach just jump up and down like excited kids meeting their favourite movie stars.

Yk that head canon thingy that's super popular (maybe canon atp I can't keep track) of SQH having a baby face or having people think he's much younger.

This but like, everyone vastly overestimates his age. On account of him being so haunted. By the horrors.

I'm obsessed that in the fandom, almost everyone agrees that SQQ has everyone in a harem EXCEPT for Shang Qinghua cause he has Mobei-jun

I'm also obsessed with the notion that they still perceive Qinghua as a love rival anyways. Not just a love rival, but their GREATEST love rival.

Cause from their perspective, Shang Qinghua would be one of the clost people Shen Qingqiu has. And that pisses everyone off cause how can you compete with one of the people he's most comfortable talking to?

They don't realize that he's not their biggest enemy, he's their greatest ally. If anyone can help get you with Shen Qingqiu, Qinghua is your ticket.

I would also presume that they would realize that once they figure out that SQQ is not Qinghua's type.

after the harrenhal weirwood dream daemon finally feels like a compelling character to me. your childwife is at the needle again shes sewing the head of the child you murdered. the guilt is banging at the door and all the swords can't keep it back. deep down you know you're a monster. just look at the mess you made. you're going to die here.

If I'm being honest, I actually think I would prefer to see Tommy NOT become the boyfriend. I really like the idea of the two of them dating a bit, and Tommy helping Buck to explore a little, but I think it would be much more interesting if Buck doesn't immediately jump into a more serious relationship with him. Allowing Buck to explore more casually as he starts to figure himself out just feels a little more meaningful here. He's always so quick to jump into relationships. I'd rather see him really take his time and let himself have some fun. And absolutely, Tommy can be a major part of that. But so much of the speculation around them feels like it frames him as the boyfriend, but I don't know that that's what Buck needs from him, to be honest.

i don't really want to see Shang Qinghua get railed so much as i want to gently take the brush from his hands, wipe the ink from his soft cheek, and take him to a hot, scented bath. Take his neglected hair down from his hair crown and massage soap and hair oils onto his scalp while he slowly relaxes into the warmth of the water and pamper this overworked man the way he deserves. and after he's clean and tired, i'd wait for him to get dressed behind his privacy screen, guide him in his inner robe to sit on the edge of his bed, and braid his hair for sleep while assuring him that there wasn't any work to worry about, and make sure he got at least twelve hours of uninterrupted rest.

Had an idea for a Poe drawing, since he’s canonically a military grade sniper I wondered when he would’ve entered the military.

Its implied his Guild arc is mostly spent writing his book, and his early twenties were spent with detective work as seen in the flashback to the detective competition.

Thus, he was in the army presumably in his teen years, 15 and up.

And ofc my doodle of it as a little Polaroid with a Kate Bush reference. He couldn’t have his eyes covered and therefore had shorter bangs

Also, bsd takes place 2013 esk and Poe is 28, he would’ve been 15 in the year 2000 and born 1985.
