thinking about how, even though they look like it, maddy is not really the impulsive type. at least not usually/generally. sure, they're brash and somewhat childish (if that child is a demon spawn kid) and seemingly don't take most things seriously, they're still pretty levelheaded and cunning when it matters, specially regarding their survival. the only times mads has been impulsive when they shouldn't envolved people they harbour a deeprooted hatred towards and it only consisted of illplaned revanges.

Sketches of what they look to me in my head after reading lots of fanfics

I go and give them designs but end up drawing them like gremlims for comedy effect. Maybe the one with Narinder is kinda suggestive, I'm sorry!

Fully choosing to interpret Athena going "Have you forgotten to turn off your heart? This is not you/ I see you changing from how I've designed you" as "what the fuck happened to my war crime guy? you were my favorite mortal because you were always up to discuss new unethical ideas" and so in my head her journey in the Wisdom saga goes:

- still misses her war crime friend.

- decides to go check on Ithaca.

- befriends Telemachus

- decides that since she befriended soft guy Tel she can actually try to get close to this new mercifull Odysseus.

- discovers Ody is back at being a horrible monster/chaos gremlim and is so relieved he is back that admits to herself they are friends

- goes save him so they can discuss how to violently destroy the suitors and maybe some inocent ppl as well but like in fun inovative ways

I’ma just share this cuz I think we all got our angst now and need something wholesome—

What if, hear me out, The witches baked the beasts to be children at first, as to let them grow up used to their souljams and not get corrupted easily once they grow up instead of just yeeting them immediently into responsibility out of the oven. But they also had Y/N cookie, possibly the first beast in this as the only adult to be their guardian and of course. Y/N being Y/N took them immediently under their arms to take care of them and teach them about their souljams.

I’ma just call this Guardian of the beasts. Here are some snippet infos.

-MF is the oldest and SM is the youngest (Look me in the eyes and tell me he ain’t a little gremlim even when not corrupted)

-Y/N is large even for beasts standards to be able to carry the five on their back to keep their hands free as they travel

-Y/N travels to seek a place to raise them safetly, eventually founding the cookie kingdom

-They also constantly pull the “If you guys don’t behave I’ll turn around!” when the beasts starts arguing whilst on their back

Personally in my version they remain uncorrupted and eventuallt raise the ancients as their successors. But for angst (Cuz the community needs that/j). If they do get corrupted, Y/N saw this a failure as their guardian and asked the witches to remove their souljam and rebake them with all their old memories removed as a punishment for themselves as they cannot handle such guilt of failure, eventually being rebaked as Just Y/N cookie. no longer the holder of the compassion souljam, but the beasts remembers even if they don’t.

Fluff followed by angst, there’s no escaping the cycle.

Little rant but I'm the only one who doesn't really like bluesky? my experience for now it just like twitter 2.0, full of americans ranting lol why I would like to have two similar sites to read the same noisy thoughts (don't take it too personal but as a european, it's very discouraging)

idk I've been forcing myself to use it as some ppl I know from twitter has moved there, but I think it's not for me. Just some thoughts, it could be easier if I just delete all my socials again and stay here as the gremlim I want to be LAUGHS

I dont know what to do with my socials tho and I'm prob the last dumb person who still likes twitter - but just bc I use the control panel extension on chrome LAUGHS HARDER

Two commissions made for @daroachie, both being his OC becoming real (designed)

One is Fabian, a smeargle whose tail lacks the fluid the species use for paint, he pursued making cooked and baked goods, using his dry tail almost like a food brush instead!

The other is Erena, a glaceon who is the main antagonist of Daro's story, you can read it here! c^^

Creative Process:

First commission is of Fabian (done in may), most of his lore was already set before, including his outfit which Daro had already doodled (left) which before starting I drew while pretending I didn't know what a smeargle looked like (right)

then came my genuine attempt

I choose to give Fabian a lil' red nose (like Rudolph) based on Daro's sketch (something he said was just him misremembering the pokemon)

I wanted the piece to involve Fabian doing some kind of multi-tasking, his hands on one thing while the tail is busy with another

it took a few drafts before landing on the version that became the final pic

Second commission was of Erena (done in august), it's been a long time coming considering her role and the fact her gf became real first

Daro notes for the design were just that she has a ice arm, and that she had "gremlim energy"

I started by drawing not her, but Sio and Cerys first (the main Daro OCs) so to use them as reference of how she'd contrast with them, especially Sio, who has something in common with her

designing process went by smooth, since Sio has more angular features than sylveons usually do, I thought Erena could then have more curled and rounded parts

most of my focus was on the face, I wanted her to have a meanine kind of look, using Jessie TeamRocket as reference for the eyes, plus I was dead set on giving her mouth a little "Lupin the 3rd"-type curve, Daro wasn't sure on it at first but now he considers it very important c^^

alongside a render of her standing on all fours, I wanted to do a pose that showed her "in action" of sorts

I first did the sketch that became the render, but before deciding on it I wanted to do another attempt, for a pose that also showed her back, which I thought could have unique markings kinda like a tattoo, unfortunately that pose wasn't working out

last detail was adding a black spot in Erena's ice arm, the arm was made after she got wounded, that spot is then is a trace of that wound
