This ask comes from someone who was sent to exorcist because of accidentally misunderstood mental illness and the exorcist told me I wasn't possesed and I had mental illness.

How about: don't tell me what to fucking do. How about that? I beat all my mental illness with very little meds, to tapering off, and with God.

Psychotic people tend to be ritually abused and targeted for bullying even more because of their fragile mentality. If you're psychotic, learn patience. It is the virtue of Wrath within the seven deadly sins. Wrath is the most deadly of the seven sins. Learn patience, and just keep learning. Do breathwork/meditation. Every other person with psychotic tendencies is tired of having their sanity tested to no ends, regardless of who, what, how, or why the sender is doing it. Most mentally ill people aren't senseless and evil like the ignorant, "normal", never-been-diagnosed tend to think 'we' are. That said, degeneracy does and can lead to mental illness as well. Good/Evil also lies on a spectrum within mental illness.

I get that calling white lotus lbh a sticky little 'sheep' is a canon translation and stuck in the fandom now anyway, but I do feel the intended spirit of the original word wasn't the sheeple/dumb herd animal that's more common in the western world, but instead something actually conveying sweetness, innocence, purity and youth - lamb.

I keep lingering on the fact that Chetney says that the only thing left when he came home was toys, because on its face it's such a strange detail.

He says it as though he feels like it was an indication that his family left the one thing that was associated with him, that he cared about, that he has essentially crafted his whole identity around, which indicated to him that they were left there because the family didn't want them—and by extension, didn't want him.

But what if there was something else? What if he'd misinterpreted? What if they were trying to leave them as a point of connection, like a coded note that they were thinking about him as they fled? What if a misunderstanding left Chetney alone for his entire life, and it was entirely his fault?

It's like, god, his confession feels so concrete (in a way that Travis is very good at when talking around backstory) such that it really starkly outlines what he doesn't say. And gnomes live such long lives that, yes, you could have relatives walk in and out of your life with some regularity and spend a lot of time independent and distant without ever severing the connection, and it doesn't feel like the circumstances in the family were so bitter that the family cared so little as to simply abandon him entirely, at least not without extenuating circumstances.

I just keep thinking about it and the more I think about it the more I want to know what happened, because there's something else there—but the thing is, a large part of Chetney as a character is that sometimes you do feel such resentment for so long that by the time you even think to reconsider, things (or people) have changed or passed, and there isn't always a satisfying answer to be had.

Charr gossip about Leo probably goes crazy, im only saying this, bc i Am writing the ambient dialogue. Unfortunately a Lot of it is pretty negative but it does eventually. Get better.

Its mostly due to the fact its considered suspicious how much Leo is able to circumvent traditional charr power climbing. He never kills, he chooses mercy, He gains several ranks within a year. He loses the respect of his fellow charr over the years for his ideals. He practices magic, theres already an existing rumor about him feeling empathy for the ascalonian ghosts which makes people think hes weird. But when he starts getting/showing results of his unique view and leadership they start to quiet down.

Wow. 2025 is learning about your own childhood trauma. Today I had confirmed to me something that I already knew but didn't know how to articulate: I am the scapegoat child of two narcissistic parents. They can't handle me pushing back so they discredit and deliberately tarnish my reputation so nobody will find me credible ever again.

The pipeline from scapegoat to black sheep is real and it all makes sense that nobody respects anything I say as an adult, even if I am the most qualified person to say it. I was also put down in front of random strangers and my flaws were verbally broadcast so widely that parents didn't want me to be friends with their kids and boys were scared to date me or didn't bother because they heard I was "mean and a loser". I found this out because one of them actually told me this! Very interesting.

One of my cousins found out i was writing a rdr2 fanfic and proceeded to make it her personal goal to try and embarrass me in front of my other cousins (I'm 25, she's 26, but acts ljke I'M the child…) I'm so tired of people still calling fanfiction "cringe" or "weird" I thought we all collectively moved on from this mindset after covid….

But this is exactly why I make it a point not to share it with family/friends. I’m beyond the point of giving a fuck what they think of me, but how am I the weird one when there’s literally thousands if not millions of authors and billions of readers who enjoy fanfiction.

I can’t imagine my life without it tbh.
