call me basic but i’m looking for ANY excuse to write zukka🤲🧎 (my beloved, my love, my life) and i’ve got plenty of ideas to kick us off! hoping for themes like hurt/comfort, humor, miscommunications, general adoration, angst & fluff, zuko and his complicated feelings, sokka and his less complicated feelings, canon and its innate urge to hurl traumatizing events at children, and the like! i don’t have many limits, so i’m open to hearing out any ideas you might have :)

for future partners: i’m a laidback writer! i can write about 500~1000 words a reply, but ultimately i will always match my partner! quality>quantity and all that (as long as it’s more than a couple sentences). i don’t really do rapid fire responses (unless we’ve agreed on a specific kind of thread) so please be aware that i may not respond every day! but i absolutely love brainstorming, sharing headcanons, and just generally gushing about zukka/our plot, so you won’t have to worry about me being unengaged. if any of this sounds like you, then i’m sure we’d get along great!

Hey, so I really want to rp and this is a starter I had, if you like or reblog this I’ll message you, this is solely posted in the hopes  of rping. It’s not a fanfic or anything. There's not much point in reading if you're not interested. (AU in which Aang was never the Avatar. The Fire Nation have until now been managing to find and keep the Avatars alive for a while before killing them. This is a very well kept secret. Zuko is in fact the Avatar, though he didn’t know this when he was sent into Exile. Aang, Katara and Sokka are trying to find the Avatar as Aang is the only Airbender left and Aang is determined to teach the Avatar.) Things had changed so quickly- Zuko hadn’t expected it. During the fight with the Kyoshi warriors- when he’d been trying to get to the boy he believed to be the Avatar he’d airbended- just a little. But it had been enough. Enough for him to realise that he was chasing the wrong person. So he’d wrote to his father, requesting the chance to return home, so that he could prove to the man that he was the Avatar. In response his father had ordered Zhao to kill him. He’d seen the letter himself- it gave no reason but Zuko knew. His father wanted him dead because he was the Avatar. So he’d fled. He’d managed to escape and he’d fled from his ship, cutting his hair and he’d went on the run, changing out of his old clothes into more simple clothes, ones that let him blend in as he travelled. He'd managed to reach a small Earth Kingdom town before he got into trouble- clearly whispers of orders for his arrest had gotten around because Fire Nation soldiers had attacked him, recognising him by his scar- so he’d fought back, managing to just about get away though he was hurt- what he wasn’t expecting was to quite literally crash into one of the Water Tribe friends of the Airbender- he cried out, stumbling, hand flying up to press to his wounded shoulder as he hit the ground, eyes widening when his gaze focused on the boy- Sokka he thought it was, his face pale. “You-“ he scrambled to his feet, backing away. Usually he’d fight but he was in no condition to do so. “I’m not here for your friend.”

Writing sample: 

At first he resisted but that only lasted a second and then he was pressed tightly to his friend's side as he played with his rings. They were one of the only family heirlooms that he'd kept, or really been allowed to keep, after being thrown out of the house. One was his dead uncle's and it had a skull with snakes coming out of the mouth. That one was pretty cool. Another had the Black family crest carved into the metal. The last one was his mom's. He'd stolen it the night he left home, though if he really wanted it or not, he still wasn't sure. Sometimes just looking at it made his chest feel so heavy he couldn't breathe and other times the sight made him smile, a smug, self satisfied grin. He'd gotten out of there.

James shot the two of them a concerned look, as if he wasn't sure if it would be better for him to stay or go. It took him almost a full minute to settle on the latter, and he ducked his head in agreement. "Right then. Er, I'll just be out on the field. Holler if you need me, alright?" Sirius didn't respond and soon James was gone, leaving the other two boys sitting alone by the stands. How could Remus always tell exactly when Sirius needed him? "It's nothing. I don't..." he trailed off and pushed his face sullenly into his friend's shoulder. Sirius wasn't trying to lie or hide how he felt. The problem was that he wasn't sure exactly what it was that he was feeling, or why. James was really good at this, probably because the Potter's talked about their emotions so openly. No one had ever started a sentence with 'I feel...' in the Black manor. "Just, we haven't seen each other in a bit. I know it's my fault, but it's so hard to talk to him when he's always so angry with me." He didn't add that when Regulus looked especially cold or furious, it reminded Sirius of their mom, which terrified him so much that he always had to shove his hands into his pockets to keep them from shaking. "I let him down and I don't think he'll ever forgive me."

🌸 Fics I like: Mostly hurt/comfort, because why not? Is there something more beautiful than a person who comforts another person when they need a shoulder to cry on? Crack fics too, because we need to laugh more in this life and be more happy. Villain redemption, because I believe in the innate goodness in people and I think that's what would make a better world. So you can recommend me hurt/comfort, crack, or villain redemption fics if you want.

🌸Fics I don't like: Rape/Non-con fics because I don't feel comfortable with those kind of things. Fics with toxic relationships because what I want in a fic is a happy ending for all the characters, and if there's a toxic relationship that's definitely not a happy ending to me. And I don't like fics with gore neither. So fics with toxic relationships, rape/non-con, or/and gore are a no-no for me.

Yes, I rarely ship the canon couples. Why? Don't ask me that, I don't know why. I just can't avoid shipping non-canon couples. Maybe it's because all of the canon ships seem like the same to me and I'm tired of that. Or maybe it's because non-canon ships are more interesting to me and they could have an interesting story. Anyways, If you ship canon couples it's okay, but that's not for me.

♦️ Radfems/TERF. You can support an ideology, but only as long as you aren't radical. So radfems, don't interact. And if you are a feminist that excludes trans-woman, don't do it neither.

♦️ Fascists. If you are antidemocratic, ultranationalist, right-wing or right-wing extremist, stay away from my blog. I don't want those people talking to me.

♦️ If you support censorship.

♦️ Islamophobes. If you hate a person just for being muslim, don't interact. Like I said before, I'm a respectful person and I only want to talk to respectful people who support human rights.
