My 2025 Eurovision Ranking

This is entirely based on my feelings in this present moment this may change around often.

Latvia: Bur man laimi

Ukraine: Bird of Pray

Estonia: Espresso Macchiato

Germany: Baller

Sweden (TOP one I want to win though): Bara Bada Bastu

Austria: Wasted Love

UK: What The Hell Just Happened

There is NOT enough spots to have all my favorites so honorable mentions:

a. Luxembourg: La Poupée Monte Le Son b. Netherlands: C'est La Vie (I also want this one to win despite my ranking) c. Poland: Gaja d. Albania: Zjerm e. Australia: Milkshake Man f. NETHERLANDS: EUROPAPA 2024 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In short, I'm obsessed with them all and I can't objectively rank anything.

My Current Prediction for the Eurovision 2025 Top 10 Based on Released Songs:

1. 🇫🇮 Erika Vikman - Ich komme - No other entry is creating as much buzz as her and no other entry seems to be an overwhelmingly clear jury winner that could possibly block her.

2-5. 🇳🇱 Claude - C'est la vie - ...Except this one, if we have anything anywhere close to a jury winner it might be C'est la vie

2-5. 🇲🇹 Miriana Conte - Kant - Fun, unhinged staging that will probably be elevated and good vocals also. She will serve

4-5. 🇦🇱 Shkodra Elektronike - Zjerm - Albania keeps rising higher and higher in the odds and this has the potential to do well. If Beatrice can prep the guy enough to give a better and less nervous performance to match her level of excellence this will do really really well

5-6. 🇧🇪 Red Sebastian - Strobe Lights - This was really high upon release but I see people losing faith in this doing well. Belgium has historically struggled with staging so it could be a shock N/Q again but, for now, I think it's still a contender.

6-7. 🇬🇷 Klavdia - Asteromáta - We have a lot of cleaning up to do with the staging and the juries will potentially snub her because of singing in greek instead of English, plus the ethnic elements which they tend to also snub, but if she can fix her stage presence the televote will reward her. Most songs are unhinged this year and, out of all the Balkan ballads, Asteromáta is by far the strongest

7-8. 🇪🇪 Tommy Cash - Espresso Macchiato - The plague will be hard to defeat and if he decides to put an effort in his staging this might even go higher. No words honestly...

8. 🇦🇺 Go-Jo - Milkshake Man - We need to of course see the staging, and this is far riskier than Kant lyrics-wise and Ich komme is in Finnish so a lot of people won't know she's Koming, but Go-Jo is very clear about his intentions to the general public so this can go either way

9. 🇵🇱 Justyna Steczkowska - Honestly, with both this one and also Kant I'm being very cautiously optimistic because both are leaning much closer to the disaster bop end of the scale but I trust in Justyna to give it her 120% best so hopefully it pays off.

10. 🇱🇹 Katarsis - Tavo akys / 🇳🇴 Kyle Alessandro - Lighter - I think either of these have good potential to close out our top ten. I'm leaning a little bit more towards Lithuania at the moment. Like Greece, Lithuania will for sure score some points from the juries but, again, this not being in English might make it struggle a bit plus the fact that it's not pop music will for sure cost them some points. Fans of this music style however will for sure mass vote it and boost its televote. For Norway, it's pretty clearly a televote bait and they almost always do well so I expect a good result

BREAKING: And Then There Were Two!

As it was noted earlier this week, Albania had their national final, Festivali i Këngës over the weekend. And just now, they have the person who will represent them. Or shall I say, two people?

Duo Shkodra Elektronike received the holiday gift of winning the 63rd FiK, and with that, earned the right to represent Albania in Eurovision with their song "Zjerm" (translation: Fire).

The song is incredibly catchy and has an electronic touch along with ethnic beat that put together a song that will for sure stand out.

I also did a little research into Albania's past Eurovision songs, and this is only the 4th time the country has sent an act with more than one person, the most recent being Albina and the Kelmendi family with "Duje" in 2023.

As I'm making regular, my ranking will be posted at the bottom.

Well, not bad, but a little boring. Only good voice and choreography of female vocalist is like a little decoration for this song. I give 5 points from 10.

Selection method: National final Has it been heard live? Yes Semi final # 1 Drawn: 12th

The Albanians have placed their lead singer in front of a large screen that has images projected on it. A streetscape, a desert, and the sea. Each background comes with it's own outfit change some more apt than others. How would you get sand out of a sequin dress? The screen goes up in flames.

It continues without the screen on a blank background. Beatriçe has been placed in a bolero jacket with 1980's Dynasty shoulders and a dark coloured dress with a large shoe lace tie in the front. Beatriçe continues her left of centre dancing seen in the national final which is interesting and unsettling at the same time. The dancing is interspersed with images of fire to distract from the dance.

Kolë is introduced to us seated and holding a burning new paper while Beatriçe stands by him. He is wearing sunglasses to avoid his eyebrows catching fire, and he sings his verse like this. We also see them standing near the screen burning with either art or a streetscape. I'm going to be honest. I expected to see him sitting in an armchair stroking a white cat while planning destruction. It ends with much the same with fire and Beatriçe dancing.

Many people like this song and after watching the film, I'm moving towards liking it too. It is a much more experimental sound and is not for everyone. I think it was because the vocal seemed clearer and different from the national final. I think they did a re-hash of it and it works better. The music of the song is a great attraction as it is out of the box, quirky but also it feels at home for an Albanian song. It's a grower.

hi neopets nation. hi esc nation.

i saw these names were all available and jumped on them. the erika custom is the only one that's pretty much finished outside of maybe a couple items.

rn i'm just working with what i have, which is a lot more than i thought because i hoard items like crazy. i have an NC wishlist for some other items.

these are the planned final customs for ulveham, zjerm, and konstrakta. subject to change as new items release or as i change my mind, especially the filters.

for joost i will probably try and make his "why not?" punk vampire outfit or his fashion week look.

not sure if i should make zjerm magma or not, because i know my magma pool time. i will think about it
