The Vision of Joshua the High Priest
1 And He showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. 2 And the LORD said to Satan, "May the LORD rebuke you, Satan! May even the LORD Who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked out of the fire?" 3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. 4 And He answered and spoke to those who stood before him, saying, "Take the filthy garments from off him." And to him He said, "Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with ceremonial robes." 5 And I said, "Let them set a clean mitre on his head." And they set a clean mitre on his head and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.
6 And the angel of the LORD charged Joshua, saying, 7 "Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'If you will walk in My ways, and if you will keep My charge, then you shall also judge My house, and shall also keep My courts, and I will give you places to walk among these who stand by.
8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, you and your fellows who sit before you; for they are men wondered at, for behold, I will bring forth My Servant the Branch! 9 For behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua: On one stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave its engraving upon it,' says the LORD of hosts, 'and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. 10 In that day,' says the LORD of hosts, 'you shall call, each man to his neighbor, to sit under the vine and under the fig tree.'" — Zechariah 3 | A Faithful Version (AFV) Holy Bible, A Faithful Version © 2020 A Faithful Version. Well this sucks.
What does this say about us as a people?
What does it say about us as a nation, that we are SUPPORTING the mass murder of so many?
Now I think that this article above is misconstruing actions.
But so many are supporting Palestine against the “colonists,” the Israelis. The zionists. What do we see on social media? People catering to what is the “right” thing to say. Angry at the “right” things. People can’t even call out what they think is the wrong “think-speak” unless they believe that they have the opinion of the greater community behind them, least they be “wrong,” and “canceled.” And then people get into bubbles, echo-chambers, where opinions are repeated back, over and over again, surrounded with the same opinions.
This used to be Jewish land. Then it became Palestinian land. Now Israel is back. When does it become morally “correct” for someone to take their land back, or to give up on it? A few short years, such as in Ukraine? Should Poland try and get land back from Russia? It hasn’t been that long. Why is it that Israel should leave because it’s Palestinian land now? How much time must pass for this to be “correct”? But even then! That doesn’t mean that either side is totally correct! There are shades of grey! Grey that so many on social media cannot see, as people can no longer reason about issues, things MUST be right or wrong.
Have we not seen it on tumblr? Just these past three days? Going from “oh no, Israel,” to “people did bad things to each other,” to “people in Israel should just leave!” Because that became the “right” opinion.
But that doesn’t! Mean! I think Israel is in the 100% moral right here. Ideally everyone could live together. But that can’t happen. But drawing and redrawing borders for peace also can’t happen, when both sides want the land. They had to completely divide Jerusalem, and there’s still no end to the tension there.
youtube
And what does this say about how we wage war, when Israel has cut off water, WATER for the people it is fighting? Not just the terrorists, but civilians?
I whole heartedly condemn all celebrations for Hamas.
I condemn all celebrations for this loss of life.
I say that Israel should NOT use water as a method of waging war.
youtube
All I can hope for now? Is that the American presence is small, that Iran doesn’t get involved further, and that this doesn’t escalate.
And as a reminder this isn’t a news blog, or a war blog, it’s a Christian Revelations blog.
So let’s throw in some scripture.
Zechariah 12, King James Version.
12 The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
4 In that day, saith the Lord, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.
5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the Lord of hosts their God.
6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
7 The Lord also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
8 In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
So no, I do not think this conflict will end with Israel being torn down stone by stone. I do not think that Israel will fall against Hamas, against Iran.
I think public opinion will side with Palestine, and Israel will lose more and more support.
But I think, after an enormous loss of life, that Israel will be left standing.
That men, women, and children, will all have suffered.
That Palestinians and Israelites will have suffered.
And that in the end, the atrocities they have committed, the rape and parading of Israelite women, the cutting off of water to all the people in Gaza? Will be left to be settled on judgment day.

“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” (The seven lamps represent the eyes of the Lord that search all around the world.)” —Zechariah 4:10 (NLT)
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven:” —Ecclesiastes 3:1 (WEB)
“Crazy Faith” Devotional by Michael Todd - Day 3: “Crawl Before You Walk”:
“What I’m going to say next might surprise you: You’ve got to crawl before you can walk. I know I’ve just been talking about crazy faith, but the thing is, we’ve got to start somewhere. No one walks into a gym for the first time in two years and jumps into bench-pressing three hundred pounds, and nobody jumps headfirst into a pool for the first time and expects to perform like an Olympic swimmer.
The night I met my now-wife, Natalie, I didn’t get down on one knee, profess my undying love, and propose to her. She would have called me desperate! Instead, I took my time to get to know her, cracked a few jokes, spit some game, got the digits . . . you know, baby steps.
Crazy faith is where you find yourself after you’re dedicated to exercising baby faith. But the truth is, most people who want to be great don’t want to do anything on a small scale. They want Moses-parting-the-Red-Sea types of results, but they don’t want to go back to Egypt and face their pasts. They want to be safe on a giant, sturdy boat in the middle of a flood, but they don’t want splinters from sanding down the wooden planks needed to build it. I imagine that for Noah, cutting down that first tree took a small measure of faith and a huge amount of humility that nobody saw except him and God.
For you, baby faith might mean opening a bank account that you label Generosity Fund and depositing five dollars in it. Baby faith might look like filling out an application to enroll in an evening class at your local junior college. It might mean browsing your local furniture store and picking out the new sectional that you want to put in the living room of the new house you don’t yet own. Baby faith might mean writing a letter to that parent you haven’t spoken to in years.
I believe that soon you’ll be sprinting forward in your faith, but you can’t run if you don’t learn to walk first. Walking in faith comes from crawling in faith. And it’s okay to crawl.
Consider the area of your life that you identified yesterday as having the weakest faith foundation. What is one baby step of faith you can take to strengthen that foundation?”

Revelation 21: How Firm a Foundation
There are several clues in John’s vision of a voluminous golden city descending through the sky that lead the reader to believe it symbolizes spiritual truths. #Revelation21 #NewJerusalem #TwelveFoundations #PearlyGates
There are several clues in John’s vision of a voluminous golden city descending through the sky that lead the reader to believe it symbolizes spiritual truths. In comparison to Babylon—portrayed as a woman of excesses—the bride motif of new Jerusalem symbolizes the far superior role as Christ’s beloved, than as the world’s. The purity and luminosity of the precious materials in the city’s…

Zecharia 3:10 Invite Everyone
“In that day,” says the Lord of hosts, “Everyone will invite his neighbor under His vine and under His fig tree.” Zecharia 3:10 When a person has something great happening, that person will often invite many others to be a part of it. Often the invitations are for parties, celebrations, weddings and other great events. People want others to be a part of celebrations so that they can rejoice…

I’ve been watching YouTube lately, following the paths of planes.
Yes, it sounds paranoid.
But there’s a YouTuber under the name of “nyprepper” whose content lately has been following the movement of planes, namely those of interest: US nuclear command planes, nuclear capable planes, Russian planes.
And the last video indicated that it was possible Russian VIPs were taking shelter while America was gathering its forces. Russia who we know is supporting Iran as America supports Israel… Iran who has threatened Israel if they go forward against Gaza.
Now, it seems all the Middle East is turning on Israel. Iran has, as stated, threatened Israel if they proceed with the ground invasion of Gaza.
And it seems that Israel has put a pin in that invasion for the moment.
Now, if you haven’t paid attention, Israel gave Palestinian civilians 24 hours to evacuate from northern Gaza into southern Gaza.
But it’s been more than 24 hours at this point.
And Israel supposedly extended this 24 hour deadline for the weather?
The weather?
Tumblr media
The weather forecast as of October 15, 2023 as seen above.
Let’s think about what actually happens next week, shall we? And no, it’s not because they want a spookier Halloween atmosphere.
It’s because of this.
US forces will reach the area around or about that time.
Now, the US in this article says:
“The Biden administration made clear that the carrier and its accompanying force are not there to engage in combat activities on behalf of Israel.
“There is no intention or plan to put American troops on the ground in Israel,” John Kirby, strategic communications coordinator for the National Security Council, said Thursday.
“We take our national security interests very seriously in the region,” he said, noting that the purpose of the bolstered force posture was “to act as a deterrent for any other actor, including Hezbollah, that might think that widening this conflict is a good idea.””
But let’s be honest, if you were a nation about to invade, and you were worried about Iran breathing down your neck, you’d want a little more fire power than not behind you.
And it looks like that firepower will be arriving…
“The newest U.S. aircraft carrier - and the world's largest - is already in the eastern Mediterranean and set to be joined by a second U.S. aircraft carrier in the next 10 days.”
So, bets that Israel’s weather problems will last until at or about that point? So much for the hope that the Americans would stay out of this and let the situation deescalate.
So what happens when Israel does invade? Well, it seems likely that Iran will have something to say about it. And the rest of the nations in the region.
And what’s the worst case scenario?
People die. Horribly. Many of them.
Best case scenario?
Everyone in Gaza is displaced… and people still die.
But this is a, once again, Christian revelations blog.
So we go back to Zechariah.
For the worst case scenario.
Zechariah 14, the New International Version.
The Lord Comes and Reigns
14 A day of the Lord is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls.
2 I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. 3 Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle. 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. 5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake[a] in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.
6 On that day there will be neither sunlight nor cold, frosty darkness. 7 It will be a unique day—a day known only to the Lord—with no distinction between day and night. When evening comes, there will be light.
8 On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it east to the Dead Sea and half of it west to the Mediterranean Sea, in summer and in winter.
9 The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name.
10 The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up high from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses, and will remain in its place. 11 It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.
12 This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. 13 On that day people will be stricken by the Lord with great panic. They will seize each other by the hand and attack one another. 14 Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected—great quantities of gold and silver and clothing. 15 A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.
So, biblically, worst case scenario?
This, in 2023, is this situation. Jewish women have already been raped, there are videos out there on social media (do not look those up) demonstrating the very real readiness everyone seems to have to violate women, regardless of culture or century.
Jerusalem, the city proper, is taken. Half of the people flee, half remain, and then comes a counter attack. But not until people suffer.
A mountain valley? A volley of bombs? An earthquake? A man made catastrophe? Unknown.
And a day of no light or dark? Sounds like ash is in the air. Ashes falling like snow. Yeah, that sounds like it could definitely be after an earthquake, or a bomb.
And then, then the city is secure?
There’s a lot more land there than just Jerusalem! Where’s Gaza, where’s the rest of the people? Oh, next paragraph.
Their flesh shall rot … eyes shall rot… tongues shall rot… and all the animals too.
That sounds like a tactical nuke if I ever heard one. And as we officially/unofficially know, Israel does have nukes.
As does the United States. Many of them.
So what I’m getting at… is we know from scripture that Israel won’t be destroyed. Oh, life is going to be awful. Homes will be destroyed. People will die, women will be raped (why must women always be raped in these situations, have some decency to not try and exert power over someone else in such a way! It’s barbaric, it’s cruel, and it’s worthy of castration).
And what of Zechariah 13:8?
Hopefully, this is referring to past events.. namely the Holocaust. Because hopefully, we will never see such needless loss of life again.
And, horrifyingly… the number of 2/3rds matches the Holocaust.
https://homework.study.com/explanation/what-percentage-of-jews-died-in-the-holocaust.html
After all, it’s a passage before the part of Jerusalem being attacked.
But it’s worrisome because…
In a timeline scale, that atrocity JUST happened.
Human time, the time of the Bible, of the Jewish people? It’s thousands of years old.
And these events are written as happening one right after the other.
And a book, written so long ago, predicted that massacre of the Jewish people, in a small verse by a more minor prophet.
So worst case scenario in front of us, from a biblical stand point?
Untold numbers of Palestinians, Iranians, Israelites, and whomever else joins the fray dies, Jerusalem is attacked directly, oh, and then there are nukes that kill however many more people.
So absolutely nothing, nothing good happens from Israel invading Gaza, with American support (sure right that they won’t support Israel), with Iran attacking as response.
So if we have any luck at all, Israel will call off their invasion of Gaza, let the people of Palestine have some peace, food, water, and the Americans will go home.

Verse of the Day 12-3-22
Jesus: The Light of the World Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” John 8:12 In this verse Jesus declares himself to be “the light of the world.” This is the second of Jesus’ seven “I am” statements1.
