Just a reminder that when it comes to ship headcanons, fics, art, etc, it can be sexual, if you want it to be. Sex is a morally neutral activity. A relationship is not "less wholesome" if the characters have sex. The addition of sex does not reduce the depth of love or emotion characters can have for each other, it's just a different way to bond.
Reminder that some ace and aro people have sex as well, for various reasons! There's nothing wrong with that either, just as there's nothing wrong with Never having sex. Again, it's just a thing people can choose to do, or not!
You shouldn't feel ashamed or obligated to either add or remove sexual content from your art - create what YOU want to create, however it resonates with you! As long as you tag and warn appropriately, the world is your oyster....

A queer newsletter from my hometown is posting about the lack of lesbian bars in this major city. But they're acting like this is a long-standing issue when it isn't. There was a lesbian bar in town. For many years, it opened sometime in the 80s. Then, around 2015/2016 trans rights became the hot button issue, and that bar took approximately 5 minutes to become a terf bar and start isolating itself from the rest of the local queer community. The petty infighting between regulars led to a gradual loss of business before the bar ultimately shut down in 2019. (Then relocated and reopened in 2021 as a straight bar).
It's great if they want to open a new lesbian/ women's bar, or otherwise create that space. But they've got to deal with this problem first.

I feel like the nanowrimo forums get worse every time I look at them
which is frustrating because I'd really, really like to be able to get chatty with people who do the challenge this year, but that forum is an abomination
I guess I could try to join a discord, but I find big discords overwhelming and I don't know where to find one anyway

Nicolas Bahamon, 11 year-old author
Click, Post, Succeed Social Media and Digital Marketing for Kids.
Nicolas Bahamon is a talented and well-rounded individual. Writing a book at such a young age is a remarkable accomplishment, and it's even more impressive that it's about social media and digital marketing. It's not often we see kids taking an interest in these topics.
Being a soccer player, a violinist, and practicing jiujitsu, Nicolas seems to have an adventurous and diverse set of interests. It's wonderful to see someone exploring multiple areas of interest and developing a wide range of skills. Soccer requires physical agility, teamwork, and perseverance, while playing the violin demands discipline, dedication, and musical ability. Jiu-jitsu, on the other hand, requires mental and physical strength, flexibility, and strategic thinking.
Nicolas is shaping up to be a true renaissance kid! It's exciting to think about the path he might take in the future, perhaps even combining his different passions or exploring new ones.
With its release on November 24, 2023, 'Click, Post, Succeed: Social Media and Digital Marketing for Kids' is now available for purchase. Youcan find the book on Amazon, where readers can embark on this enlightening journey and gain insights into the world of social media and digital marketing.

Ok real talk I think there needs to be more specific places on the internet for young trans people that isn’t a public social media site because as much as I participate in it, the culture and tone of public trans online spaces is overtly sexual and not kid appropriate often. Of course that’s not everyone but if you go on the trans woman tag on here it’s like half porn and gock shit posting. Which I love! We should be comfortable being ourselves in a sex positive and body positive way! I just think with how many trans youth there are, there needs to be better kid friendly spaces and resources for them, especially in their own communities and schools. GSAs are not enough, and can sometimes be even more isolating for some! I guess this kind of goes for every kid online, there’s not really anywhere just for kids to be themselves in a safe community online anymore without defaulting to a children’s mmo, and those are getting rarer and rarer. I just feel for trans kids trying to find people their age and share experiences with each other while being met with unending sexual content which can be really frustrating and damaging. You shouldn’t feel inherently sexualized when you look for who you are.

Fuck is going on with Cymru by the way seems an absolute mess. Of course we knew there was going to be a drop off post bale while the team re established itself but you'd have thought they'd at least have a plan? It's like Bale was the only thing holding them together ffs. Page seems to have completely given up, got four goalkeepers but no established no.1, called up morrell and Moore despite them being suspended for the qualifier match instead of trying out some new players no wonder they're struggling to sell tickets.

wanting to live in an area with seasons and not experience A Hate Crime is such a wild and disheartening adventure when every place costs $500k and has $6k/month mortgages.
