Olive went from over the moon to immediately embarrassed, waving her hands around as she quickly tried to explain herself. "I didn't mean to do that, oh gosh- I- I was just excited and you were with me and you were the only one I wanted to kiss and I wasn't thinking straight and-" You stopped her from speaking, and while worried for a moment, when you leaned in to give a more proper kiss, her worries almost immediately melted away as she kissed you right back. Her only worry now was how in the world was she gonna explain to your colleagues on how you two finally ended up together?

you're right. i could do that. but here's the thing, nonnie, some of the stuff i reblog is just as long or longer than those conversations i have and reblog, and i don't put those under a read more. there's not anything i can do about those. i literally can't put those under a read more because they're someone else's content that i'm reblogging to my account.

so what you're telling me is that you want me to censor just my content. not the stuff i'm reblogging. just me. me and my friends that i'm having a conversation with. i don't see you going into anybody else's inbox and telling them this stuff - or if you're a different anon, i don't see them doing that with anyone else either.

listen I know it's heartbreaking that Claudia dies and it's understandable to wish she didn't, but let's please not accuse the writers of fridging her. to do so is a fundamental misunderstanding of the story and is frankly insulting to the intelligence and skill of the writers of the show.

Claudia's death, and the overwhelming grief and regret her parents experience because of it, is quite literally the point of the entire story. she dies because Anne's daughter Michele died of leukemia when she was five years old and there was nothing she or her husband could do to prevent it.

writing IWTV was how Anne coped with the unimaginable loss of a parent losing her child. she created a story about a little girl that could not die and then killed her anyway. Claudia's death is a senseless, unavoidable tragedy, just like Michele's was. the grief that haunts Louis and Lestat for the rest of their lives is the same grief that haunted Anne and her husband.

so when you're accusing people of killing Claudia off to benefit a story about two men, please remember that in real life sometimes parents lose their children. please remember Michele Rice.

she's the reason Claudia exists.

she's also the reason Claudia cannot be saved.
