I don’t know why, but I just have this sudden urge to look for songs that are so heavily Dartz-coded that fits his personality and vibes. I’ll probably make use of these songs be put into a Spotify or YouTube playlist in the future, hell, probably even use some of the songs for a future animatic / animation for all I know, it’s just one of these sudden spark of inspiration moments that I just needed to get it out there! (I’ll also might make a seperate post going further in depth for the song choices sometime in the future. Additionally, I’ll start adding more songs periodically)

Though if you happen to know any songs that suits him please let me know!

SKIP OR SCROLL PAST IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE SERIES, SEASON 4 SPECIFICALLY!) he’s freed from the Orichalcos and sees his family again, especially his wife! Tell me I’m not the only that thought of this song for Dartz?!…

Here's an animatic I've made adapting that scene from Duelist Kingdom where Kaiba thinks about his brother! I tried to play around with the framing of the scene, with some drawings inspired by the manga, so I hope it ended up alright!

A big thanks to @rainstormcolors for suggesting this scene!!🌟And also shoutout to Stylus Rumble on Youtube, who did a tutorial on how to animate slime, that was very useful for what happens in this

It ok to ask. I don’t mind. Unfortunately I never finished making the YGO animatic I was working on. I got 2/3 of the way done with it and then burned myself out. I’ve thought about going back and finishing it a lot. But drawing is hard for me right now.

Number 5 for song I think of when I think of him, I actually think of Harness by Pavement. Even though the lyrics are absolute nonsense somehow it fits Edo pretty well. I wanna do an animatic with that song but I'm pretty hopeless at video editing shsnhsjs

I also think of zettai unmei mokushiroku for some reason. I'm still convinced you could take Edo out of ygo and put him in utena and he'd fit in just fine.

25 for first impressions! I thought he was funny but I also thought he was like. Older. Learning that he's 15 made him even fucking funnier because his tantrum mid-duel made me crack up. Mr I'm-not-a-comedian is in fact incredibly funny. I've liked him since then simply because he's a pissy loser
