Currently listening to Michael Crichton’s The Lost World and I’m loving it but Sarah, girl, please learn to lie for your own safety.

You’re alone on a boat with complete strangers, and one of them is asking if anyone knows where you were headed, if you have a husband or a research team or close friends that would notice you’re gone, if your bosses know where you’ve gone, and if the guys on the island are expecting you, don’t answer him honestly!!

Those are literally questions to find out what he can get away with, getting shoved off the ship shouldn’t be a surprise after how you answered them.
