“Of course he is.”  Yamamoto rolled his eyes after hearing the information.  He just got back from America, only to hear rumors floating around the base of how his ex was now dating the mist guardian.  Honestly Yamamoto didn’t know if he should be upset, jealous, sad; but at that moment he was annoyed because of all the whispers he was hearing behind his back.

That is *EXACTLY* what he's doing.

Well, its the extremely sexy and cunning plan his Wife Tsubaki came up with but fortunately for him she thinks it's equally hot shit when he's a huge fucking problem for the Bourgeoisie on her behalf.

After she leaves him, his plans aren't quite as... subtle, but the willingness to be a huge asshole for the benefit of future generations remains, and what he can't get my subtle manipulation or cunning tactics he's more than willing to achieve with strategic use of extreme violence.

His first few years trying to manage Zaraki are... Difficult. Yamamoto often muses on the old curse of teachers that one should suffer a student just like yourself, as he struggles with another catastrophic asshole who unfortunately has the physical chops and social skills to back his bullshit up. The Giant Bastard's monstrous Reiatsu is it's own problem but unfortunately Zaraki is also in possession of a startlingly cunning mind, a long memory and a fiendish sense of humor. Tsubaki's influence on the lad became clear in the first captain's meeting when Zaraki dog-walked him through naming specific statutes until he had to admit defeat and let him restock the 11th with every freak and monster in the Rukongai.

...a week after The Calamity In Hiroshima though, Yamamoto realizes that A Giant Bastard is *exactly* what he needs.

It's midnight when he arrives at the 11th Division to 'have a little walk' with Zaraki.

It's 1:04 AM when he gets over to the 4th Division where the man actually is.

As the Giant Bastard is redressing (and Unohana is indicating via Very Pointed Eye Contact that there will be Consequences (TM) for this interruption) Yamamoto explains he needs Zaraki to come with him on a trip to "A Place several people who legally I do not know the names of- much less their professions! are gathering in secret. They have tremendous sway in the governing of Soul Society, and somehow they have gotten ahold of a Schematic for The Device. I think it only appropriate that they be reassured that the construction of such a device should not even be considered, as there is More Than Enough Destructive Power between the two of us, isn't there?"

Zaraki peered down at him with the one functioning eyeball (and the malfunctioning one too, if the prickling in Yamamoto's thumbs was anything to go by) for a minute and he worried he might have to try again with smaller words when Zaraki grinned in comprehension.

"I get it now!" He laughed, patting Yamamoto's shoulder and the old man sighed with relief.

"-Gotta say, it was kinda buggin' me, but now I see what Madame Tsubaki saw in ya!" he laughed, and Yamamoto realized several decades too late that Zaraki's former Employer and his own Ex-wife were one in the same.

"C'mon Grandpa, show me whose head needs knocking into the outer districts."

Top left mini comic: when extremely exhausted and stressed from a long battle. He sustains an injury during battle from an energy cannon but feels none of it. Turns out energy blasts all this time not having too much of an effect on him was because the heratige.

The group doodle: (the four of them hang out often) not much lore behind this except after transforming really often within short amount of time, he gets extra glowy. His skin is trying it's best to contain him. Rook is fully aware of what's happening while Ester and Rayona are amazed and concerned (when is anyone not when it comes to the watch bearer)

Bottom left: how he wouldve looked in full anodite form pre explosion in "the new dawn" finale.

Left full body: him after omniverse's finale. The image of his arm being all starry after reverting stuck with me and boom there's one of my most important headcannons(lmk if y'all wanna hear me blab about that one)

GWEN 10 AU------

Right full body:more turquoise color when calmer or not brimming with energy. The large star shape on the chest indicates a young anodite hybrid who awakened rather aggressively. Blasting their very form to smitherines abruptly.

Right top corner: color potential palettes. High energy. Being a full anodite in this au he toys around with the normal limits of his humanoid anodite form. This freaks out ppl.

Him and Julie before he lost his skin during the highbreed finale in alien force.

- Verdona is magenta and has a hints of teal. She's the least humanoid in appearence. She's got spikey bits of mana protecting her around her shoulders and occasionally anywhere else she seems nice at that moment.

- Sunny is indigo and is little more humanoid sporting curved horns since she thinks they're cute and can add dangly jewelry.she has a wrap like skirt that blends into her not really there legs. She has floating solid shapes of mana circling around her neck.

- Gwen the most humanoid teal one. She has double layer of horns that appear like cat ears. She's the only one to have inherited the dual color from verdona. She can be spotted with a lion like tail at times.

- Ben the green one with short horns. He's somewhat humanoid like Gwen but leans more into things he thinks are cool. He plays with his form alot. Has a jellyfish like poncho and coils. Sometimes has ribbon like arms instead.

Verdona(and her sister for sunny)passed down mermaid/aquatic like traits(Gwen's ripples like water/Sunnys mermaid like legs/ Ben's jellyfish traits and all three having webbed hands.) plus a heart like facial markings,Though it's reversed on Sunny.

Pardon me if this has been asked before, but who does Ben end up with when all is said and done?

That would be Julie. Him and her do get together during UAF, but they still break up at the end of that part of the series because I think it would be a good character point for them, and to show people that sometimes you do need breaks and space from people you love before it can work out. I've always liked adding different types of dynamics and relationships towards partners. Plus they get to explore themselves with other people they date here and there to understand themselves better.

A Textbook Series Look, look, look -- I get that its started off weird and slow but you gotta understand it's gonna get weirder. I've got a doc that's like 42 pages of bullet point planning. It is an absolute upheaval. There's 7 instalments and I am so excited. If Apollo is my style baby, Textbook is my plot baby.

The Baker's Daughter My first big fic and holds a place in my heart, also played a huge role in my development as both a writer and person. Lol you can almost track my growth from age 14 to 24 now in the writing. I still reread the later chapters for the fluff; Yamamoto Takeshi will forever be my favourite.

Not Of Glass But Diamond My crowning moment, the moment people realised I have a thing for writing buff women. They're amazing, what can I say? I love them and I want to be them. And I love writing Reborn as a lanky little femme fatale of a man.

Help Line I put in so much unnecessary work into this fic. For a while I kept getting ads in Japanese. But I love this fic, the weird 'realism' I put into it. And I love where it's going, I'm so excited. I have a Sims4 family and everything.

This was harder than I thought it'd be. At first I was like 'do i even have 5 fics I'd rec' and then I was cutting off my darlings. 2. Ok so. I apologise in advance if I get some things wrong about his canon traits because I feel like I'm REALLY bad at analysing characters, and I'm a bit self-conscious about sharing why I like them because my idea may not be totally accurate to canon. My favourite thing about Squalo has to be his sense of pride. Often in anime the prideful character is either a comic relief or their pride is extinguished the moment they're defeated, as if it's a flaw that needs to be "remodeled", reduced, and they become friends with the MC or generally feel downgraded. However Squalo wears it like a fucking badge of honour and does not ever reconsider it, and balances his responsibilities as captain and his more independent side without exaggerating. (I live off characters with strong beliefs that they bring to their grave HHHNNHHN NNOITRA THIS IS YOU)

Idk if it will make sense but he's never LESS loud, proud, or stubborn after his (many) defeats. After the Rain battle, he doesn't just fuck off defeated hating on Yams because he got outsmarted - in future arc, Squalo sees it as his responsibility to hone Yamamoto's abilities because that brat is strong in his eyes and he's pissed off Yams is not expressing his potential (not to mention the 100 matches tapes). I feel like he can respect strong people without thinking any less of himself.

There are also many other things I like about him but this is at least one of the top 3.

A headcanon for Xanxus... he's one of those people that doesn't particularly care for animals (and here I mean like he won't fawn over them with a baby voice or anything, he likes them just enough) but animals ADORE him. They show themselves to be extremely friendly towards him. Why? Who knows. It applies to box animals too.

15. My favorite ship with Yamamoto. AAAAGH I'm not the biggest shipper out there but. I think it's a tie between 8027 and S80(tyl), but since I tend to ship DS I always resort to 8027 for Yams.

Imho,i wish writers didn't give enough debt to Julie and so was Benlie. And writers also didn't write carefully considering.

Apart from writing,i feel like both Ben and Julie have their faults in their relationship.

Yes, Ben is a superhero... he doesn't have a ton of time and he’s pretty much targeted by the entire universe, though some of the bugs between then could've been prevented if he done something different. But he did try!!

And I also believe that Julie asked too much of him. Like I said... superhero? As a child? Though I felt some of her reactions were justified.

I just feel like Benlie was a "oh well, that's over. Anyways...", and both of em' felt that as well, clear on how quickly they moved on from it.

Yamamoto leaned in towards Squaletta, his hand that was cupping her cheek guided her towards him with a gentle tapping motion. When their lips met, the silken tresses of her hair briefly brushed against his fingers, almost tickling his skin.

Focusing on the kiss, he notices how she didn’t pull away and seemed to move in closer, which he took as invitation to wrap an arm around her waist to pull her in closer to his chest.

She could probably feel the way his heart skipped a beat or two, and the thought of that was embarrassing, but he could almost swear that her heart was beating quicker as well. That at least was a bit comforting.

He started to pull away from the kiss but something seemed to pull him right back in. Stunned, he was locked in another kiss. Was it the attractive force of this woman, or was she the one who pulled him in for another kiss?

He forgot to pay attention, so he couldn’t tell you.
