i always love it in twst events when the characters are trying foods local to that region because the way they describe the food is so enjoyable to see. :D they talk about the entire flavor profile and composition and get so invested in the taste, texture, smell, etc of the food that it's as if they're judges in a cooking contest breaking down the food to its most yummiest layers.

they can't just say the food is good; they have to really, truly describe it so it's as if you are having the same experience alongside them. and i think it's very nice to read about. (ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ.ﾟ

Khare would absolutely LOVE this nice young visitor coming to Pauli's Diner, letting him enjoy pancakes on the cheap and even sneaking in an extra couple for free! Her senses aren't as good as his so she probably thinks he's just your average kid, albeit more polite than others his age? Don't worry, Emile - Khare won't grill you as to why you're wearing shades inside, especially if it's dark out. She does exactly the same thing to avoid spooking people with her super reflective eyes... B.O.W problems, amirite???

(if you haven’t heard of it) I only just realised, it’s kinda like a tma plus red valley with classic eldritch vs corporate bully. It’s the podcast that got me into podcasts, plus some impeccable sound design *chef kiss* I rrrly love it and think it deserves more recognition! (pls ignore the Netflix version)

vegan chocolate cake

figured id share my fav recipe for a very simple & easy vegan chocolate cake, thats nice and moist and very quick to make:

recipe is in german, heres the translation:

ingredients:

250gr flour,

2-3 tsp baking poweder

3 tbsp cacao poweder

180gr sugar

1 tsp vanille extract (oh)

250ml water

100ml neutral oil

heat oven to 180°C upper and lower heat, or 160°C circulating air, grease a 20cm cake pan

mix flour, baking poweder and cacao

add the remaining ingredients

mix until u get a liquid batter

pour in pan, bake for 35min., check if its done with a knife or toothpick

personally i dump all ingredients in the bowl at once and start mixing cuz i dont wanna bother. the cake will be too low for a 30cm pan, so double the recipe if u got that
