nobody see my vision when gem and the scotts vs grian happened..
he's not just swinging his sword but he also kick, punch, bite, headbutt everyone in there, he was going feral like some kind of desperate dog with no way out and has to choose between fight or die
that's why he get gem and scott so low, that's why in the end impulse have to lock his arms and make scott take him out for good, but even with that, he still fight back, he did until he ran out of life
