well first things first! Leo loves you dearly, older sibling or not he wants to keep you safe and mostly close by. He finds comfort in your general presence because of having someone who knows how it feels being older and a role model/leader!

He consults you in a lot of things, doubts, concerns, fears, and his own thoughts. He likes knowing he can have someone to lean on, someone that’ll just.. be there.

Now! For discovering you’re dating one of shredder’s henchmen, he’s absolutely baffled. How did this start? He’s got no idea, he’s a bit hypocritical at first, forgetting how he had crush on the enemies daughter!

But once that’s pointed out and cleared up he’s.. well, not completely fine with it. To be honest- but that’s now more because of safety concerns. What if you’re being used to find the lair? What if Shredder finds out? He just wants you to be alright.

Without saying he will throw down if he needs to, overprotective feral brother energy mixed with ninja skills? It’s best you just leave the whole country.

To be honest, he likes to butt heads with you, a little because your older and a little because you will hold being older over all of them-

Though he would still stab someone for you, your his family. Only he can bully you. Won’t tolerate anyone else saying otherwise.

Raph likes to learn from your moves, you were taught a bit differently from them, having incorporated other fighting styles into your own. So Raph loves to spar with you, it helps keep him on his toes and prepared for whatever.

He does have a harder time consulting in people with things, if you are there enough and willing to listen in help Raph will spill his woes to you.

If he was the first one to figure out you’re dating someone he’d huff and make fun of you, if he found out it was one of shredders henchmen? He’d blow his top, asking you all sorts of questions, berating you for being an idiot because those were your enemies!! Not your pals. They literally have tried killing all of you or are you pulling a Leo and keeping yourself in blissful ignorance?

He’s worry, obviously. He showed through his anger, what if you got hurt? Kidnapped? Killed? Did you want that? Did you want to put yourself and everyone in danger!?

After some time though, letting you explain and having a small heart to heart. He’d relax a bit, though he’s still not happy about it. Please don’t get yourself killed.

Whoever you’re dating though.. Raph is going ten times harder on them in fights- he will make sure they’re strong enough to protect you.

He loves you a lot, despite his odd ways of showing it. Happy to show his tech whenever you ask, or some nights you stay up late with him when he can’t sleep!

He’s also.. very awkward about his feelings, not good at expressing them in a way others will get? And leads to him being angry instead, unable to properly express his discomfort or why he’s upset. Having someone in his family willing to just.. be there, helps. A lot. Although he’s not sure how to feel about the late night therapy talks-

I think he’d be one of the fastest to get over you dating one of Shredder’s henchmen, but that would also be because he uses a spy roach to keep an eye on things. He’s just worried! He may scold you a little for it, explain that statistics of things going horribly wrong, and then just letting you make your own choices.

As long as you’re safe, he doesn’t really care, not his business and if they hurt you it gives him more reason to use the bomb that he made when he figured out.

He adores you, always wanting to show you things and have your attention. Even if it’s just a rock he found somewhere in the sewers.

100% starts prank wars constantly, it’s just so much fun! Plus- it’s funny watching the others yell when they accidentally set off a trap instead.

He would probably be the most excited learning about your boyfriend, it’s more people to meet, to make friends with, eat PIZZA WITH! ..what do you mean it’s one of shredders henchmen?

He’ll be confused, them? Out of all people? Okay! He starts to pull pranks on them in the middle of battles- being a little more silly which annoys the others. He’s teasing you 24/7 all the time, you can’t escape it.

He’ll keep an eye out though, the moment your hurt in anyway he’s becoming feral but not in an obvious way. He just figures out how to make their life harder by fucking around with them hardcore.

Otherwise? He doesn’t really care to much as long as you’re happy!

Can I get a quick summary of your thoughts/opinions on the 4 shows and the different movies? :3

Personally I'm a big fan of 2012 and Rise, and 2003 is good too but just never landed as much with me but I think I gotta give it another shot tbh. And I respect to 80's show, but not a big fan of cartoons durring that time as a whole.

And I love the 1990 movie, and the 2007 movie has amazing parts but as a whole is just pretty decent, and I absolutely love Mutant Mayhem :3

I'll do them in chronological order, and I'm sorry but this is going to be long!

1987 - My first intro to the Turtles, way back when the show first aired! I totally fell into the world of Ninja Turtles back then, and wanted to consume everything having to do with them. I had posters all over my walls, toys, clothing, hats... you name it, I either had it or wanted desperately to get it. I was so into them that my dad bought me the first four (colorized) graphic novels of the original comics, and I still have them to this day. And I still love the cartoon! I accept now that they are kinda silly, but that gives them a certain charm. They were a huge part of my childhood, and when they came out on DVD I introduced my kids to them, as well. Honestly, I am who I am today because I happened to come across the show on a tiny little portable black and white TV while we were camping...

1990 - The first "event movie" I ever experienced! I remember how hyped I got when the first ads came out for it, with the tag line "Hey Dudes, This Is No Cartoon"... and how I told my dad that I wanted to move back to North Carolina (we were living in Massachusetts at the time) because I heard that they were filming it there (we didn't move, of course!). I also distinctly remember how excited I was waiting in line with crowds of people at Showcase Cinemas in Springfield, MA. I saw the movie twice in theaters (the first time I ever did that), and many, many times on tape. When I had kids, we all watched it together on DVD (usually while eating pizza). I love the gritty look and story line; and it was actually interesting to see, for the first time, the "rivalry" between Raph and Leo, which would later become a huge part of the franchise as a whole. In general, the movie represents the Turtles pretty well, though Mike and Don did kind of get pushed to the side (which has also, unfortunately, become a major aspect of the franchise). All-in-all, though, it remains one of my favorite movies ever.

1991 - The second TMNT movie (The Secret Of The Ooze) wasn't bad, in my opinion, but it never had as large a part in my life or psyche as the first movie. It was a bit silly, a bit slow... but it had Ernie Reyes Jr. in it, and I had a HUGE crush on him. In general, it was good, and I liked their new lair in the subway, but it was... just okay. I did love Tokka and Rahzar, though!

1993 - It may seem strange, but even with the costume downgrade and slapstick reliance and a bit of a silly story line, I enjoyed the third movie more than the second! For one thing, Casey was back (and I loved his apparent ancestor, Whit). For another, it was nice to see the Turtles out of their element, but also being accepted by people. There were some nice heroic moments in there, too, like Mikey and Leo saving Yoshi. It also made me wonder if the Turtles would, at some point in the future, go back even further and defeat Norinaga's ancestor, leading to the painting that was shown repeatedly in the movie. Oh, and I totally headcanon Mitsu and Kenshin being Hamato Yoshi's ancestors.

2003 - My favorite of the TV shows! I love how they can be gritty and serious or silly and playful. Their lair is amazing, and they have plenty of friends, but still are separated from humanity. I like the relationships the Turtles have between each other, and also how each of their personalities are distinct and add to the group. There are plenty of standalone episodes, but they all come back around and tie into the series as a whole -- and character arcs like Leonardo's 4th season self-loathing and recovery are the kind of thing I eat right up. All things considered, the series is my gold standard for the franchise, and especially for the Turtles' and Splinter's personalities.

2007 - Visually, it was great! I loved the voice acting and the atmosphere. However, they leaned a bit too hard into the aforementioned Leo & Raph rivalry (although the rooftop fight scene was amazing). I would have liked for Don and Mike to have a larger part in the story (although Don did do his techie thing and figure out what was going on, it was sort of a non-event). I did like the eleventh-hour Karai and Foot team-up with the good guys, though! Unfortunately, I am compelled to mention that Splinter in that movie is... not my favorite.

2012 - Completely honestly, I am an outsider to this series, and all that I know of it I have absorbed through Tumblr Osmosis. That meaning, although I do know a lot about it, I have never actually watched a full episode. It is my 12-year-old daughter's favorite version, however, so on her behalf I will be giving it a thumbs-up 👍🏼

2014 / 2016 - Bundling the two Bayverse movies into one, because I will be honest and say that the line between them blurs for me sometimes (not in a bad way, just like... they flow into one another in my mind). I will admit that I put off watching them for a long time because I disagreed with some of the creative decisions (I'll just leave that there), but when I watched them they turned out to be not as bad as I feared. Their lairs were fitting, and so were their personalities (even if Leo is occasionally a bit my way or the highway). Really, though, I don't have too much to say about them, except that some of the slapstick and more cartoony action tends to draw me out of the moment. Not my favorite TMNT movies, but not horrible. There's potential there.

2018 - ROTTMNT is another series that I haven't actually watched, and which I have gathered most of my knowledge on from Tumblr. However, I did watch the movie and enjoyed it very much! Honestly, the only reason I haven't watched the series yet is because I already have enough TMNT versions bouncing around in my head and I know if I watch it I will want to write fics for it, and I already have enough on my plate for the time being (meaning I will probably get a bunch of my WIPs done, then watch the series!). That having been established, I do like the way the Turtles are different species, and the overall exuberance of the series as a whole is a delight (again, from an outside perspective, but valid regardless!). Splinter's backstory is unique and interesting, and his relationship with his sons is enjoyable!

2019 - Batman Vs. TMNT is, without a doubt, one of my favorite TMNT movies ever! I loved the style, the atmosphere, the fight choreography, the relationships... everything. I also like how it earned that PG-13 rating (violence, swearing... you know... original Mirage Turtle stuff). It was nice how each Turtle got to shine, and how they each got a member of the Batfam to cling to. And Leo's fight with Ra's al Ghul is perhaps my favorite TMNT battle ever. I know it is probably too much to hope for a sequel, but I am nothing if not a cockeyed optimist!

2023 - Mutant Mayhem was fun! It was nice seeing the Turtles portrayed as actual teenagers, complete with gratuitous pop culture references. The animation style was interesting (in a good way!) and the voice acting was spot-on. I loved the soundtrack, too, and I had "What's Going On" stuck in my head for days after I watched the movie! The fact that the Turtles got accepted by humans at the end was nice, even if my preferred version of them is as outcasts; and their relationship with Splinter was believably complicated. I am excited to see how the story continues in TOTTMNT!

So I don't really make a lot of posts for my tmnt iteration where it's just only text, since I mostly prefer to show my iteration through my drawings. But, I figured I might as well do this so you guys get to know a bit about the main characters that are going to be part of my story, so here we go!

Character Summary List:

The Boiz:

Leonardo: Leader in Blue. Centered arc is the first arc.

Raphael: Big and red and always ready for a fight. Centered arc is Yokai Uprising Arc

Michaelangelo: Orange and one of a kind. Centered arc is City at War Arc

Donatello: Purple and rocks machines. Centered arc is Galactic Frontier Arc

Other Main Characters:

Splinter: The turtles' rat sensei/father. Is Hamato Yoshi and has a tragic family backstory.

April O'Neil: The turtles' first best friend since they were kids. Currently a college student. Is besties with Donnie.

Casey Jones: The turtles' second best friend (Raph meets them first when they were younger, then the others during the present). Hockey player and vigilante. Has a dorky crush on April. Is besties with Raph.

Keno: The turtles' third best friend. High school student who works part time at his family owned pizza place and is badass at martial arts. Is besties with Mikey.

Metalhead: A turtle robot created by Donnie to assist the turtles through medical needs. Eventually, with Donnie's programming, they gain some sentient and becomes more willing to help out the team in any way they can.

The Mighty Mutanimals:

Old Hob: A mutant cat from TCRI, who originally started the gang. Once had a thing against humans due to being experimented on by them, but now wants to help protect the city and his friends.

Slash: A giant mutant spiked sea turtle from TCRI, who was overmutated from an ooze explosion. He started as a frenzied monster, but is soon healed by Dr. Rockwell. He leads the Mighty Mutanimals.

Leatherhead: A mutant alligator from TCRI

Mondo Gecko: A mutant gecko from TCRI

Dr. Rockwell: A mutant monkey. Was originally a human scientist who worked alongside Stockman at TCRI, but experiments went wrong in where he got turned into a monkey, (but he seems unphased with that situation ig lmao)

(And in short, they are all very close friends with Mikey)

Foot Clan:

Shredder: Leader of the Foot. Is responsible for the death of Yoshi's family. Main antagonist of the first arc.

Karai: Shredder's adoptive daughter. One of the members of the Foot Elite (Is viewed as the weakest Foot Elite, even Shredder views this). Is frenemies with Leo.

Tatsu (AKA: Tiger Claw): A mutant tiger who was originally human. Leader of the Foot Elite and is second-in-command of the Foot

Chris Bradford (AKA: Rahzar): A mutant wolf who was originally human. Member of the Foot Elite and is in charge of taking care of the new and upcoming recruits. He also becomes a better father figure for Karai.

Bebop: A mutant warthog who was originally human. Besties with Rocksteady.

Rocksteady: A mutant rhino who was originally human. Besties with Bebop.

Jennika: A mutant turtle who was originally human. She was the youngest member of the Foot Elite (is actually better than Karai).

Outer Space:

Fugitoid: A robot who was once a scientist but got his mind transfered to a robot. Is the one who originally formed the rebellion against the Triceraton Empire.

Mona Lisa: An alien salamander who is a gladiator fighter in the Triceraton Arena. She helps Donnie with his survival and skills in fighting in the arena.

Tokka: An alien turtle who decides to tag along the turtles' adventure.

Traximus: A triceraton guard who is secretly working with Fugitoid in the fight against the Triceraton Empire. He helps Donnie in finding a way to escape, as well as a way to take down the Triceratons' planet buster weapon that they have abused its power with.

Emperor Zanramon: Leader of the Triceraton Empire. Main antagonist of Galactic Frontier Arc.

Captain Mozar: Second-in-command of the Triceraton Empire.

Hidden City:

Baron Draxum: A goat yokai who is the leader of the Hidden City. Main antagonist of the Yokai Uprising Arc.

Huginn and Muninn: Baron Draxum's loyal pets.

Koya: A falcon yokai who is the general of the yokai army.

Miyamoto Usagi: A rabbit yokai who was formerly a warrior for Baron Draxum. He then helps the turtles in taking down Baron Draxum.

Alopex: A fox yokai who is the leader of the yokai rebellion.

Venus: A mutant turtle. Was created by Baron Draxum as a weapon against the turtles.

The Pantheon:

Kitsune: A fox yokai who is the eldest of the Pantheon. She is known for her variety of mystic powers and tricks. She is first seen in the Shredder Arc, where she is Shredder's right hand other than Tatsu. She is then seen again in the Yokai Uprising Arc, where she is Draxum's right hand.

Tengu: An eagle yokai who is the second eldest of the Pantheon. He is known for his mystic powers in weather-like abilities (thunder, earthquakes, etc.). He takes his duties more seriously.

Bakeneko: A cat yokai who is the youngest of the Pantheon. They are known for shapeshifting and playing with fire. They are very mischievous.

Nure-onna: A snake yokai who is the second youngest of the Pantheon. She is known for her deadly poison and cataclysmic powers yes this is based off of Cat Noir, shut up. She is very scary.

Sarugami: A monkey yokai who is the middle sibling of the Pantheon. He is known for his immense strength. He does not speak at all.

Ryujin: An all powerful and evil dragon who was banished to the Twilight Realm. He wishes to destroy the entire world and recreate it in his own image. Main antagonist of Dawn of the Pantheon Arc

Other Villains:

Krang: A powerful alien race who was banished to Dimension X. They wish to conquer the entire universe and remake it in their image. Main antagonist of Zero Hour Arc.

Baxter Stockman: A mad scientist who works at the TCRI.

Bishop: A special agent of the US government and head of the EPF. Main antagonist of City at War Arc.

Hun: A crime boss who is the leader of the Purple Dragons.

Rat King: A mad man who can not only control the rats, BUT ALSO MUTANTS! Main antagonist of Mutant Madness Arc.

SMG4 AU Timeline Anomalies Part 2

Spamton G Spamton

A version of the fan-favorite Deltarune character who somehow became an actual Virus and went on a rampage that, among other things, lagged out the Hub. He was eventually apprehended and locked in Computer Hell, where he became "That Guy Who Can Get You Just About Anything, for a Price" that you see in all the prison break movies. He's currently a part of the unofficially named Prison Break Squad formed by Lady Rose and Andrew Orpheus.

Rahzar

Well, Disc finally got his wish and managed to cheat death. What was left of him after his final fight with Vitality in "Song of a Usurper" stumbled into the current hideout of Leto, who thought he was interesting and set Baxter Stockman on ensuring his miraculous survival actually stuck, as well as making him even more interesting.

As a result, he's now a massive zombie-like Werecoyote with the Flames of Firefox subverted and merged with his own necrotic, warped code, along with what little was left of Damien's model data, and has become the third of Leto's minions. He hasn't learned anything from this experience and still wants to get rid of Death, despite how he can feel his code rotting from the inside out. The new name is because he's technically a TMNT-style Mutant and also because he doesn't want his enemies to know he survived yet.

Swagmageddon

The one and only Swagmaster6969696969, godmodded and turned into a Code-Level Entity by the Gamer Girl. He was meant to be the Meme Alliance's ultimate weapon, one they would deploy only in times of greatest need.

But, well... It's Swag. No matter how powerful and immortal he is he's always going to be Swag.

Ben Tennyson

A while back someone managed to stumble upon the secret to the Meme Cycle while trying to make funny videos about Ben 10, resulting in Ben becoming his server's equivalent to an Avatar.

Rewind and Zenyn

Ben's equivalent to SMGs, though unlike SMGs and MRUs they weren't designed to be recolors of Ben, or even the same species. Rewind is a purple Galvanic Mechamorph who handles the Living Memes, while Zenyn is a Seedrian (from Sonic X) with a primarily yellow color scheme, and she handles the Dead Memes.

Omnitrix "Trixie"

The Omnitrix's semi-sentient AI, elevated into a fully self-aware Code-Level Entity due to the Meme Mod code that should've gone to the pods not being able to on account of them not existing and attaching to the Omnitrix instead. She technically serves as the Admin equivalent, but in this case that doesn't really give her any sort of authority. She's really just part of the team.

Raph wasn't sure exactly when the forest had turned cold and snowy. He was pretty sure it had just been warm and spring-like. A glance at Don showed he's brainy brother looking around thoughtfully, and Raph was pretty darn sure he was contemplating it, too.

Shell, Raph hated magic.

For once, Raph was grateful that they had clothes on. It was helping to protect them from the cold. It also helped hide their movements as a figure approached on some sort of animal, just in case. Raph relaxed a little as the figure approached, recognizing him as that not-Splinter rat man that had given Donnie a therapist's card.

He exchanged looks with Don at the man's offer, silent communication passing between them.

"That sounds like the nice man who helped me with Lucy's tag," Ms. Morrison murmured.

Raph looked back at the rat man. "Sure," he said. "Although I ain't never been huntin' before. But I can promise you, I'm good at trackin' and fightin'."

"I'll stay here with Ms. Morrison," Don said. "We might backtrack a little. I have some samples and observations I want to make."

Raph nodded, and stepped forward. "Alright. I ain't promisin' anything, but let's go."

Maybe he could get some more information out of this guy on the way.

The other one is much later in the show's run, in "Dirk Savage: Mutant Hunter", when we learn that Shredder continued to experiment on innocent people, over a period of years, to the point where there were so many mutants running around town that a politician could run on an anti-mutant campaign platform.

Do you remember exact dialogue on that? I watched that episode recently and the only thing I remember was that Tokka & Rahzar were stated to be the result of the Shredder experimenting on Zoo Animals, which I assume to be a reference to the Groundchuck and Dirtbag episodes.

As for the other mutants like the Giraffe lady and mutant bird, I assumed they weren't Shredder experiments but just people or animals that got hit by carelessly placed mutagen during the show's shenanigans rather than deliberate experiments.

Also I feel Baxter Stockman's harsh treatment from Shredder and Krang may have been because he was something of an outsider; being coerced into working for them and once trying to betray the Shredder. Rocksteady and Bebop's gangs were thugs that had been working for them to begin with, so I feel they'd get better treatment.

Upon reflection (and going back and watching the opening of the Dirk Savage ep again) I think you're right: the intent seems to be that the events in the zoo during the Turtleoids special have led to the creation of subsequent mutants over a period of a few years. I'm many months removed from watching the show at this point, so I was basing that on what I wrote at the time and my already potentially fuzzy recollections.

Regarding Shredder and the gang (and by extension, Krang/Baxter) I think where you stand on Shredder's willingness to undo their mutations probably depends on how evil you interpret him to be...

This Shredder is presented as a credible ninja master and criminal mastermind, and is the one who mutated the gang members...

This Shredder is considerably less capable, to put it mildly, and if we're being honest more in-line with how he's presented for the bulk of the series. Outside of his feud with Splinter and the Turtles, his desire for world domination seems to be entirely rooted in his own vanity and self-aggrandizement.

His villainy/competence isn't a binary thing IMO, I think it can be charted on a spectrum depending on the era of the show and who's writing, but as a trend it keeps nudging into ineffectual goofball gradually up to the beginning of season eight, when it dramatically swings back in the opposite direction.

On that basis, I think the likelihood of Shredder undoing the mutations of the gang and letting them go depends on which point in the show it actually happens. If we're assuming it's in the window between S1 and S2 then maybe not, but after the S2 opener the way he's presented changes considerably and he seems to be borderline subservient to Krang rather than the two of them being in a fifty-fifty partnership. At that point I could see him just releasing the gang on the basis that he has enough to deal with, and doesn't need them hanging around.

In regards to Krang (and his attempted vaporizing of Baxter), I've long been of the opinion that as an alien warlord he likely places little value on human life, but I kind of like the idea that the presence of Shredder, Rocksteady & Bebop in the Technodrome softens him a bit and prevents him from being a total monster, in part because their incompetence invariably scuppers all of his plans and stops him doing any significant harm in the end. It's notable that he ordered Baxter's execution while Shredder, Rocksteady and Bebop were all on Earth, and there was no-one around to reason with him; I don't know if I'd go so far as to say they serve as his conscience, but, y'know... something like that!
