HI FRIENDS!! As some might’ve heard from the main accounts of Admin Maah, today marks THREE YEARS since they first became a fan of BBU! But what you might not know is that I, Admin Buck, share this same anniversary with them!!! >:3 we were actually on the same call together when she discovered the game!

Before we get into some personal messages below, let’s talk about the art! We collabed on recreating two drawings we each made that faithful day ❤️ individual credits will be in this post’s tags!

I haven’t played a more direct part in BDBBU for very long, but being a fan of BBU itself has both spanned most of our (the admins) friendship, and has made a huge impact on it overall. OKAY so confession. all the feixiao stuff dredged up some of my old yukong thoughts so i'd like to ramble abt them here, actually (also partially inspired by my own hsr sona concepts! though i have not yet done the newest tb quests so please feel free to add any thoughts relating to them <3)

said thoughts being about the simple domesticity of being yukong's retainer. sure, a retired pilot and the damn helm master of the luofu may not have any particular need for protection (she's very much capable of defending herself, no doubt), but perhaps it's less of the protection and more of the company that drew the both of you together. aside from being well-versed in combat—easily leaping into the fray at the first sign of trouble, the diligent guard that you are—you also look after yukong in and out of the office, which is where you find yourself spending most of your time.

bringing tea to yukong's desk, gentle reminders to the foxian to take breaks despite knowing yukong rarely complies—perhaps yukong didn't take too well to you at first, a denial of her desire for a more steadfast companion that isn't just the rest of those she leaves tasks to. perhaps your fortuitous appearance is more than just coincidence, too? (and may have to do with a certain foxian daughter...)

either way, the longer you spend at yukong's side, offering a helping hand that at times even extends to paperwork, she finds herself growing oddly fond of you and your presence. even in the silence, knowing that there's someone to share the space becomes something precious to the grandma helm master: a reminder to take things slow.

long walks, tea times, reminiscing, even the occasional family dinner that you've come to be a part of, with qingni doling out tease after tease that you've since become less of a retainer and more of a wife—just the little things that make every moment worth living for. just a little more.

(p.s. absolutely agreeing with yukong being more on the lovemaking side. <3 as a bonus, stress relief is definitely something you'd help yukong out with, in more ways than just a massage... :3c)

“so, i hear you’ve made a new… friend, shall we say?”

yukong’s tail flicks sharply at the tone of feixiao’s voice, lilting and light and teasing. she can feel the other foxian’s eyes boring into the side of her head as she takes a long, slow sip of tea from her cup, before setting it down on the table with a clink.

“i have recently hired a retainer, yes,” she confirms, and those teal eyes sitting across from her glitter with interest. feixiao has her chin resting on her fist, while her other hand curls around her own cup.

“you make it sound so formal,” the general remarks with a chuckle. “a little kit describes it as a much more domestic arrangement to me.”

“qingni,” yukong mutters, pinching the bridge of her nose. her tail swishes again, harder this time, with an edge of embarassment and irritation. feixiao laughs quietly at that, swirling her tea around in the tiny cup.

“relax, she means well. it is good to hear you are, hm… happy?”

feixiao’s tone leaves the question open ended, and yukong pauses. it’s an opportunity, she knows—to refute that statement, to insist on a veneer of professionalism. but then she thinks of you, of your softspoken words, of warm tea on her desk, of late night walks and late night talks, and of companionship; and she finds that she can’t deny it at all.

“yes,” she agrees softly, the corner of her lips tugging upwards in a fond smile. “i am happy.”

for the longest time, the ground never felt right under her feet. she was born for the skies, to soar and pierce through the clouds like a shooting star. to be grounded felt like to be imprisoned. but with you—with you, she feels light again. like the earth is now made of downy clouds, and the weight on her shoulders has dissipated like mist. her heart no longer knows the difference between the wind in her hair and your hand running through it in the night.

with you, she is happy.

(feixiao, of course, teases her relentlessly about this confession. it’s only when yukong threatens to expose every ridiculous thing the other foxian has done while blackout drunk to their partner that feixiao shuts up.)

Physically, I'd like to mention that Sun and Moon have different eyelash designs XD

Sun has 3 spikes whereas Moon has 2 so I took the liberty of that when I first designed him. I also wanted to supply how I drew their hands in case of anything!

Personality wise, he's a mixture of FFAU Sun and FFAU Moon in that he can be both infuriating (in an endearing way) and gentle if needed. A bit more touchy-feelier as he embodies the more intense feelings the DCAs may have. Eldest brother and more patient in terms of dealing with patrons, kids and the other animatronics. He's a combo of charm and wit too so expect major teasing sessions - I think that's it for now 🤣

P/S : I changed the character paired with my DCA of choice for my wish to be my Sona with the new hairstyle instead in the wishlist chat. Pls read the updated one 🙏🏻Oh and tell me if ya need a ref of my sona too, okay? I'm still working on her in terms of colours ^^ thanks again for stopping by 👋🏻🌌✨‼️

i'm glad i didn't go in that direction, it would have been weird if tapa was overly complicated and cass was simple

fun fact: when i was about 90% done i realized that i didn't know if tapa and cass even drew on tablets for all i know they both draw on ipads i hope for it to remain a mystery cause i am not changing it

Yeah it's here!!!! My masterpiece!!! I'm so proud of this, I could actually shed a tear *snif*

So, a couple pointers:

1- Thank you for your patience, this actually took way longer than I expected and the fact that I got suddenly swamped with work did *not* help-but it's here now!! Hope you like it :D

2- If you remember the original piece I posted (the sketch) you'll notice quite the differences here and there. Can you spot them all?

3- One of the reasons this took so long is that the candies were supposed to be all generic when I suddenly remembered there were canonically halloween arcana candies I simply could *not* exclude and keep my self respect. Or the five years of my life I'll never get back from having to edit them in. *Sigh*

4-The costumes are based on the Arcana Halloween Charms. All you Lucio stans I hope you can understand that I simply couldn't in good conscience give kid Lucio the original outfit that his adult counterpart wore. His new outfit is based in his Devil-sona from Muriel's route, hope it suffices.

5- For a moment I was a little bummed about how accidentally overproduced Nadia's pumpkin was but honestly that's such a Nadia thing to happen that I can't help feeling that it fits perfectly.

6- This was very fun to make but I also kinda felt like my soul had been given in sacrifice to the digital art Gods. I'm freeeeeeeee

7-If anyone wants to repost remember to credit/tag me!!! Also if you want to edit your own Mc too just dm and i can give you the clear version with room for them.

Edit: Some stuff I forgot to mention:

8: there's a hidden devil's chocolate in Nadia's pumpkin as a reference to her reversed ending (give those players a reference. Players love 'em references. I know cause I'm a player)

9: Lucio's pumpkin is the only one that isn't super loyal to the original, that's bc at first I drew them all from scratch before learning how to properly reproduce them. I was planning on changing it too but I realized that I accidentally made it look like the ( ͡ ° ͜ʖ ͡ °) emoji which i personally find hilarious so I kept it.

10: Julian was suppossed to have a pumpkin like the rest but I thought "Julian is totally that drama queen club kid that is COMITTED to the aesthetic and would totally use a bag instead of a bucket since that's what a pirate would use...completely disregarding the fact that they tear easily and lose like half his candy on the way home" (don't worry, Portia made sure to point it out and they Hanzel and Gretel'd their way back to rescuing his pirate loot)

11-Asra got Muriel his costume since he didn't want to come wear one at first

12- Asra's bucket has licorice that both resemble's faust and his parent's snakes. He also got him bread from the baker (everyone else had 2 themed candies and I felt bad for Muriel who only got one)

13- Both Julian and Portia get Mazelinka taffies

14- Mc's bucket has all 6 themed candies that directly reference the love interests- yaaayyy references son

Hi hi!!! I have two catified tma aus, so I’ll answer for both! My first au, the one I drew most recently, is an Anthro au where it entirely follows the same plotline as tma, but they are furries! Nothing much to this au except for the fact I love animal-ifying my favs.

My second au is a Warrior Cats au, so while it follows the basic plotline of tma, some things are changed to fit the context of Warrior Cats! Instead of living in the institute, they live outside in a clan, therefor don’t have access to most human items. They have the “leader, deputy, medicine cat and warrior” roles if you’re familiar with the series. Small items are changed too, like how the characters are killed. Tim, instead of being detonated, throws himself at Nikola into a fire he started to kill her and the circus. Jurgen, instead of being beaten with a pipe, gets attacked with a sharpened stick. The whole basis of how I make it is “what recourses would they have in the wild” (besides the obvious magic stuff they can have since that’s canon in WC)

Also, thank you SOOO much!!! I never see sheep sonas either, since I raise sheep I’ve become super connected to them and felt it was fitting to have a sheep sona :D

recently ive taken it upon myself to turn glitterduo (argbur and incelbur/simpbur) into my ocs, allen (he him) and salem (he she they) after realizing how much i was attached to them and might go as far as reclaiming even more relevant burs

theyre kind of like a gag anime with a broad plot that has only 50% to do with the actual episode youre watching. They just kind of exist and go through day to day things together because theyre buds. maybe you will like them too if you liked bur sonas…i just wanted to share something that gave me joy. theyre like if triple baka was double baka mesmerizer if it was awesome

Thought i should preface that LMFAO (i still think its crazy how much the fandom (using that term lightly cause of how fan driven the concept of burs were) “woobified” incelbur/simpbur seeing how much of a creep he apparently is. its ok i was a part of it and i never do anything wrong ^_^)

i originally had a really hard time trying to figure out a plotline for these two, my first draft “salmon alley” was about them being platonic soulmates and having to figure out how to live together. one, i didnt like the name cause it sounded to much like salmonella. Second, i didnt really know where to go with the soulmate thing and i didnt even know if i wanted to have a story for them

then, i wanted to go the unconventional route and make them little magical girls (“1-chance duet”) with the point of them being tied together as two magical girls who were destined to save, well, mentally unstable people 😭, before they could save themselves, and i gave salem a bunny hood which is where his current hat comes from

Travel back in time to find an old timey president at a bar (lmanbr). go a couple months forward to find him depressed, and deceased the next day (pogbr). maybe theyll be taken by the mad scientist who sent them back in time(malpractice). maybe theyll meet god himself (100p??). i remember i had my designs for og glitterduo memorized like muscle memory, i have no idea how i got over them so quickly but when i was reminded of them i couldnt keep the demons inside…i drew arg all the time in class and i love edgy characters so he was my perfect little guy. i might still refer to them (especially allen) as arg/incel/simp. Maybe this is another 2 week phase but i love them

also, i dont know what to call their “series”. i have two in mind: amygdala’s resonance/just amygdala, or hatena (as in question mark) but i think amygdala seems way too dark and edgy for what im thinking
