Very cool life update: I am hopefully getting a tattoo of my favorite cave painting ever by someone who is equally obsessed with lost species of humans, I made bread for a friend who biked to get it from me, I have begun packing my belongings, and I think for a moment it is okay.

having good & true friends will literally save and protect you in a million unfathomable ways. like okay we have written so many times about lovers. but the way a platonic friend laughs and cries with you. the way they hold your hand at 14 years old and at 34. the way they keep a little silver tie to you, touching base over and over and over. how you can go years without talking, only to re-meet and discover: oh shit! you're still cool!

there are people who have been in my life for more than half of it, and i have loved every version of them. do you know how fucking beautiful that is. yeah love will save the world. but the way friends love you is gonna save the you.

Sorting AO3 is actually a research skill that can come in handy for writing a paper. You’re actually sorting a database by looking for characteristics of your fanfic whether by filtering tags or directly searching.

Just finished reading the ENTIRETY of the asks listed in the pinned post; very informative!

They have, however, sprouted(tee hee mushroom pun) many a questions of my own, which I delicately tried to make sure for the criteria for asks to the best of my ability.

So, first of all, Im genuinely suprised to learn that he has a phobia of storms and yet isn’t scared and ENJOYS fireworks. How does that work?

I'm glad you enjoyed!! <3 It's rare to see someone actually going through the whole thing so I appreciate it, hahaha! As for the question, it's kinda simple if you think about it!

Fireworks are set off in controlled settings; meant to be a pretty light show in the sky, a symbol of celebration and joyous times. Storms, especially lightning, are a dangerous weather hazard and if you're not careful, can be fatal. It's not about the sounds or the spectacle of either, it's whether or not getting caught in one can mean your life ending on the spot.
