My Father's in law got me an Xplus Godzilla figure for Xmas!

I'm so excited! I've never owned a vinyl figure before, and Smirking Goji 54 is definitely one of my favorites. Problem is, I may be a bit out of my depth with this guy.

For the folks that follow me not for the Godzilla stuff, vinyl figures are a subsect of the hobby that can get pretty intense, almost its own thing entirely. This is like giving a Warhammer player a company of lead napoleonic miniatures. This is giving a Gunpla enjoyer a train diorama kit. This is a level of fandom that I admire, but always seemed one level above me.

Godzilla comes in pieces:

The detail is amazing, but despite being into miniature painting and gunpla, I have no idea how to work with soft vinyl. What glues should I use? What about paints?

The instructions aren't that helpful:

These are not Gunpla level instructions. It basically says: look at the picture. Yours should look like this when you're done. Dont use the wrong paint or glue. Do not eat the glue, you moron.

So now I'm looking through contradictory YouTube and reddit posts, hoping to get help. So far, all I know is I need to buy a hair dryer. If anyone here has advice on where to start, please help!

At least I can find solace in knowing I own a miniature of Godzilla's tongue, and that's not nothing
