My Turbo redemption Headcanon & Alternate ending idea to the movie (with art examples):
Tumblr media
Basically the movie ends the exact same way, except King Candy was never eaten by that cy-bug. Instead, he swerved as the track was being destroyed, shocked at all the cy-bugs destroying “his” game. He ends up driving away and back into the tunnel like the little coward he is, knowing Vanellope won’t be able to cross the finish line with all this mess.
Blah blah blah… Ralph succeeds in getting the vol-cola mountain to explode, Vanellope saves him on the kart, all the cy-bugs die, she crosses the finish line, happily ever after.
Then there’s King Candy. Right after it’s revealed that Vanellope is the rightful ruler and princess (president), he drives over and storms in. Ralph wants to curve stomp his little ass, but both Felix and Vanellope stop him.
King Candy starts cussing her (and pretty much everyone else) out, calling all of them names. His character model keeps glitching between King Candy and Turbo, as if the game is trying to erase all evidence of King Candy, but his own code is refusing and fighting to keep his goofy-ahh design.
At some point while he’s cussing everyone out kid-friendly style, both of the police characters walk up behind him with one of those giant cupcakes and slam it on top of King Candy, trapping him similar to how Ralph was before.
Tumblr media
Dizzy and probably concussed, his character model finally settles on Turbo. For good this time.
Vanellope, finally having a moment to talk, she wonders aloud what they’re gonna do with him. Calhoun and Ralph raise their guns and fists. But Felix, fighting to keep things civil, walks up and looks at Turbo. “I have a suggestion, princess-president-ma’am”
Hard cut to Turbo sitting in a meeting room, surrounded by other characters, with a banner that says “Troubled-Anon”, or just something that insinuates the characters are problematic outside of their games but want (or NEED) to be better.
Tumblr media
Yeah that’s my idea. Basically Turbo survives and is forced into group therapy. It’s not the most creative, but it’s an idea I like. Of course the canon outcome from the movie is much better, but I just want more Turbo.
But sadly my want for more Turbo comes at a cost… no King Candybug 💔

Day 23: Speed Trap
It would be pointless to ask whether Wynnchel and Duncan’s speed trap from Day 10 for Citrusella was a success. Better luck next time. It’s back to the drawing board for the defeated duo. Maybe after coffee break.
But Citrusella will be back for them. As you can see, she has already lost most of her last tickets and wants more. But that’s another day.

The WIR Comic Zone Comics: Better Sequels than RBTI
So, back in 2012 and 2013, Disney made a magazine called Comic Zone. Since it came out when WIR did, there were three comics about the movie in the magazine.
What’s cool about these comics is that they take place after the movie—they were sequels to Wreck-It Ralph years before Ralph Breaks the Internet even existed.
So, without further ado, here are the Disney Comic Zone Wreck-It Ralph comics! First up is “Wrecking Party”, taking place in Fix-It Felix Jr.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s so nice to get a glimpse at how the Nicelanders are treating Ralph now, since that wasn’t shown at all in Ralph Breaks the Internet. It’s good to see they’ve invited him into their social circle, and that they want to show they accept him for his wrecking, not just because he saved a game. Also, I LOVE how chill all the Nicelanders are with Calhoun now.
Next up, the Sugar Rush comic: “The Donut Kart”!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love these comics so much because they give lots of focus to the secondary characters. First Gene, now Wynnchel and Duncan! They’re definitely funny and underappreciated characters. Also, this comic is awesome for actually taking Vanellope’s role as leader of Sugar Rush seriously. I really wish we got to see her kick butt as president instead of just calling herself a princess. She really shows off her resourcefulness here, even if her idea won’t work after a while.
Finally, my personal favorite…”The Final Level Boss”, taking place in Hero’s Duty!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This comic went viral because of a certain red-and-white racer’s game in the background…but it’s worth the read for more than just that. This one is interesting because things in Hero’s Duty didn’t really change much in the movie…but Calhoun did. I like to think of this comic as showing her character arc, since she herself is a bit of a bully to her soldiers. But she’s loosened up ever since marrying Felix, and she’s willing to put the “love” back in tough love and defend her game from a real bully. I love the last panel and how it shows Calhoun talking to Markowski as an equal, rather than yelling at him and treating him like an idiot, showing that, at the end of the day, her harshness is just an act.

🍬King Candy (Wreck-It Ralph) x (gn) Reader👑
(Love Language Edition Pt. I!)
Tumblr media
(I’m honestly surprised it took me this long to use this song, it was my favorite song to dance to in Just Dance, the little hand puppets were so silly!!!)
His love language: Quality Time, Gift Receiving, and Words of Affection
Quality Time:
- I think as much as he tries to distance himself from who he used to be, his way of love mostly stays the same, mostly.
- The fact still stands that he has practically changed everything about himself, down to the way he’s walks and talks— So, naturally, things have changed. As ironic as a character that has a track record of not liking change.
- Dates with him are varied, but they’re only stem into Sugar Rush and Sugar Rush alone for various reasons, though I do like the idea that he’s so anxious (something he would hide well to a degree) that someone will see behind that disguise of his— Someone who won’t fall for his ruse.
- Doing things with you makes that aspect of his life more bearable, not needing to depend on someone like Sour Bill, the C.L.A.W force, or the idiotic doughnut cops Wynnchel and Duncan.
- Someone who cares, someone who doesn’t have an obligation to him like that— Makes those nice moments between you two all the more sweeter as he lets himself be lost to the moment, the feeling fleeting but all the more worth it.
- That and if you’re from a different game— It’s nice to have someone like that, not having to constantly deal with a candy citizen, though if you are from Sugar Rush, I think he eventually is able to appreciate you in a way that’s more than just a Sugar Rush citizen that he will order around.
- He’s far more open to different options now, date planning becoming an absolute delight to do for the two of you.
- That isn’t the only thing he’s open about, he’s endearing in his method of displaying his love, sweetly suggesting date after date as clasps his hands together with a overly dopey smile on his face.
- Again, he’s rather shameless in his efforts to keep you interested/get you to do things he wants.
- …Which supports the idea that, as well intentioned he may be at times, he’s not a good person. Missing the goal so hard he’s basically on the other side of the world. Metaphorically🔑.

Turbo headcanons based on King Candy
[What I'm working off of for the most part.]
Tumblr media
[Now with this as a basic base, time for my headcanons.]
#1. The glasses used for this bit are his real reading glasses. Why else would he even have them? Look how thick those lenses are! I imagine Turbo needing them for fine print like on game manuals or code.
Tumblr media
#2. The man loves wordplay and puns.
"Milk my duds! It's Wreck-It Ralph?"
King Candy: Wynnchel, Duncan, get him out of that cupcake, and on the first train back home. And if I ever see you here again, Wreck-It Ralph... *giggles* I'll lock you in my Fungeon! Ralph: Fungeon? King Candy: Fun dungeon. You know, it's a play on words. *chuckles* It's a fu- NEVER MIND! Now I got a glitch to deal with thanks to you.
Duncan: Are you hurt, sire? King Candy: No. He just glazed me. *giggles* GET THEM!
"Stop in the name of the King!! That's ME!!!"
"You wouldn't hit a guy with glasses, would you? (gets hit with own glasses) You hit a guy WITH glasses, that's... well played."
"Welcome to the boss level!"
#3. His lisp is due to him having a tongue that's just a bit too big, so it extends out a lot more and frequently pops out of his mouth.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
#4. While his kingly goofball persona is a front, I wanna think he honestly is this wacky naturally, but his negative traits overshadow this and make it seem fake. The man giggles, chuckles, and makes silly little noises as if he can't help it. It's like a tic or stim behavior.
#5. He learns from his actions. When he tried to hijack RoadBlasters, he did so impulsively and without a plan. But 10 years is a long time to learn from his foolishness. His takeover of Sugar Rush is far more planned and thought-out, creating a disguise for himself and even altering game mechanics to ensure a reset could never be triggered naturally. He's silly...not stupid. Had he lived and managed to leave Sugar Rush, my god, there's no telling what a virus that can code could do if given freedom.
#6. He loves the spotlight but he does seek some form of companionship/close attention. I believe this is why he's close with Sour Bill. Now the little jawbreaker is programmed to act as Vanellope's assistant, so it's natural for him to work for King Candy when Turbo takes the monarch spot. But Sour Bill knows King Candy isn't the real ruler. He knows Vanellope is meant to be part of the game. Despite this, he diligently worked alongside King Candy to prevent Vanellope from restoring her code and resetting the game, while also hiding the truth from everyone in Sugar Rush. Why though? Why would Turbo run that risk? Well...He's lonely. 10 years of hiding in isolation, the arcade believing him dead. That can do a lot to someone. And Sour Bill fills the role that the blue racing twins did back in his old game, follies he can play off of. That and Bill is harmless, a non-threat, Turbo can use his position to ensure Bill stays in his role as royal assistant and straight man to balance his funnyman shtick.

Note
The other Next Gen children were out on the Sugar Rush Speedway, doing some practice races. They weren't trying to do anything impressive, they were mainly just timing each other and testing out some new tactics.
Despite the mundaneness of the children's practice races, it didn't deter the interests of the teenaged Steep. He was underneath the main bleachers, watching the others race through the gaps of the seats as he took a smoke break. He had gotten very used to taking his smoke breaks here, since Wynnchel and Duncan often arrested him for underage smoking out in the open.
He hadn't realized that Clara came to pay Sugar Rush another visit, or that she'd take notice of the smoke cloud that came from his hiding spot (normally, the smoke from his candy cigarettes wouldn't be as plain to see since the bleachers were normally filled, but no fans were present)...
[In case you were wondering, this leads into their fusion :3]
Clara is indeed paying a visit to Sugar Rush, when she spotted the smoke cloud that came from underneath the main bleachers. Curious, she decided to get a closer look...
(Didn't know how else to start this. Sorry)

Hey there everyone! Welcome to night thirteen of the ninth annual Wreck-it Ralph Pin Post Month!
Tonight we're revisiting the DSF/GSF/DSSH, Pin Trader Delight, Duncan, Wreck-it Ralph pin. LE 500.
Here we have a delightful pin of Duncan, one of the donut cops from the Wreck-it Ralph movie, enjoying a single scoop ice cream cone. The flavor of which looks to be strawberry based on the color alone, with no other added toppings. Keeping things simple, though perhaps he sees sprinkles differently seeing as his mustache is made of a few chocolate ones. Like all Pin Traders Delight pins, this one was sold along side with a scoop of ice cream as well. Giving the buyer their own frozen treat to enjoy along side their pin companion.
It's always interesting in a strange way seeing desert themed characters eating deserts. In a world made almost completely of edible sweets and treats, I'm sure that the citizens choose not to put too much thought into it. Not wanting to invite any unnecessary existential dread into their bright and cheerful world. I'm sure that if anyone were to ask, Duncan would likely only get upset if the asker was trying to trouble the other citizens. Then jump into action with Wynnchel by his side to comedically drive off the pesty distresser.

Day 8: Authorities
Wynnchel and Duncan aren’t exactly the best at their job, but they give it their all to maintain order in Sugar Rush with zeal and vigor. Being a cop is no easy picnic, especially when those speedy little racers mess with them for some light-hearted fun (to the racers, that is).
But there is one delinquent in particular who never listens to authority and seems to have a little too much fun shattering the posted off-track speed limit. Wynnchel and Duncan have long-dreamed of catching this one, but the kid is shockingly fast and keeps evading them! Luckily, the cops never give up no matter how many times they’ve failed and Wynnchel has come up with a crackerjack idea to finally trap their prize. A comfy pillow will tempt the pesky racer into taking a power-nap, at which point, they will deploy their net and escort her straight to President Vanellope for a long-overdue punishment! Justice will finally be served and it’s going to taste sweet!
Can you guess who they’re after? Comment who you think this rebel racer is, then come back here to find out if you were right on Day 10!

"Hmmm... Well, the donut cops should be out of the castle right now, but it is possible that we either run into one of the roaming Oreo guards, or we run into a servant", Cadbury told them. "Aside from that, I can't think of anything else that might be slowing us down"
"Well, what does Toffifee's charm look like? I am surprised no one asked this before we all disbanded", Pez asked group 3.
"Look, I think it's fine that Ven gets a little ahead- that's how a scout works, but you can't go too far without us", Tootsie told Ven and Kentroy.
As Team 2 had their little dispute, a small, green servant was making their way down the hall; it wasn't Sourbill though. It was a green, gummy girl. Despite her little uniform, she seemed to be very young.
"...", She looked up at the unfamiliar children, unsure what to make of them.
"Hiya, Pat! Don't tell your dad we're here!", Pepo told her.
Meanwhile, as Brezziana and Telrina waited outside with Alucard, they could hear Wynnchel and Duncan approaching.
"Ehhh! Where are we going to hide? We have all our karts out here!" Telrina whispered.
[Part 2 to the Next-Gen roleplay, since the first thread got too long for my Tumblr application!]
Where we left off, the children are about to sneak into the castle to try and get back Toffifee's charm. They were hoping to either find the thief Florence, where he keeps his secret stache off stolen goods, or this game's Vanellope to tell her what her son had done.
The castle is a big place, so the children had split off into teams to split up. The teams are as follows:
Team 1: Cadbury, Jolly-O, Autumn, and Kaffe from my generation; and Gabrielle, Valerie, and Eclaire from yours
Team 2: Ven, Abby, and Kentroy from your generation; and Pepo, Steep, and Tootsie from mine
Team 3: Pez, Sabrosita, Cerecita, and Oriana from my generation; and Zinnia and Toffifee from yours
There was also some leftover children who chose to stay on lookout instead: Brezziana, Telrina, and your Alucard.
Now that the teams are assembled, they are prepared to make their next move.
"Alright; Now that we are ready... 3. 2. 1...", Cadbury counted down, before he took a breath and formed his rabbit hole glitch, creating a white portal into the castle. Once he jumped through, he quickly held onto its rim. "Quickly, everyone!", He told them.
The others in his team were the first to jump through. Team 2 next. Lastly, Team 3 jumped through.
After the last team jumped into through the portal and into the castle, some of the observant kids began scanning the area, while some of my kids were whispering about this rabbit hole glitch.
"Hm...it looks like the coast is clear...I think..." Kentroy mumbled.
Gabrielle looked around and rested her hands behind her head. "Shouldn't be too much of a struggle to navigate through it." She said with a shrug.
"We'll have to be careful, though." Eclaire quietly warned.
"Oh, come on, Eclaire, we'll be fine." Gabrielle grinned.
"Easy for you to say..." Eclaire mumbled.
Abby looked behind her at the wall where the portal was. "So...now that we're inside, which team goes to where?" She asked.

Am I the only one who’s surprised that Surge Protector was able to be knocked down? This whole time I thought he was incorporeal and that anyone who ran into him would pass right through.
I know you can see him phasing in bones-first whenever he’s going from electricity form to humanoid form, but I sort of assumed he wasn’t completely solid (if only for the humorous potential of a security guard who can’t physically block anyone from getting past him).
