heyy!!! I love your art and literally everything you post :DD wanted to ask, what are some of your favorite Ninjago head cannons and why? (can be anything) I love yaps and am very interested to hear what you have to say!

As for some of my favorite headcannons I have a very big list but I’ll try to list one for each character!

Lloyd: as much as he learned about leading from both Wu and Garmadon the first to really teach him the ropes was Cole! Being the previous leader he’s already well aware of each of his teammates strength and weaknesses and what to do in a pinch. So whenever Lloyd’s stumped on a decision he’ll usually turn to him first or think what he might do.

Nya: while Kai has more the reputation for being a hothead I do think Nya’s temper is probably worse. She gets frustrated over small things easily and it doesn’t take much before she blows up. Despite this though she does get over things quicker than Kai does and will begrudgingly apologize.

Kai: compared to the other ninja I do think he didn’t learn to fully read and write until after taken under Wu’s wing. This is mainly because he didn’t have the chance to attend school, having to take over the forge and watch over Nya. While he’s extremely embarrassed about this the others are quick to understand and try not to make him feel bad about it. Nya especially feels guilty about it and apologizes for it a lot, yet Kai assures her being able to raise and take care of her is his greatest accomplishment to date.

Jay: he’s very much the spitting image of both of his parents, he has Libbers smile and Cliff’s eyes. He laughs the same way his mom does and the way he presents his showmanship is exactly like his dad. This is a fact however only Wu really knows.

Cole: one of my absolute fav hcs is he gets his moles from his mom! Something about him growing up to look just like her makes me want to keel over, I don’t talk about it enough but Cole and Lilly are so 😭😭 to me (<— normal about characters with dead moms)

Zane: less of a hc and much more aligned to canon but this robot can fit so much self sacrifice in him. Something about the knowledge that you can be rebuilt over and over again compared to your companions who are made of flesh and blood. There’s probably a ship of Theseus metaphor in here too somewhere.

Okay so I watched all of Ninjago Dragons Rising s2p2! I've got so many thoughts and I'm dumping them all here in a long list. SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

to start: Cole!! He's a family man! He's got a boyfriend and they hold hands and they care for their kids and Bonzle so obviously came out to them and omg I wanted to cry. The joy of acceptance. I mean come one she kept saying how alone she felt, they're found family, she was repeating that she chose he town name and identity and the villains were insistent that she wants a person but just a spell like come on

But there's more than that, I have questions I have concerns!! Like wtf happend on Coles quest?? With Sensei Wu??? Like he disappeared and turned up again and said he would explain but never did.

Cole also came back from that in his bolder form so did he figure out he could do it on his own then? Is that what he learned on his quest?? If so it's gonna be a little awkward when he tried to explain that to his bf Geo.

With part 2 I really want to see the whole gang meet them and talk and catch up on everything. Like cole has been missing since the merge and no one this season cared. At all. They hadn't seen him in ages- didn't even know if he was alive until drs1 but nope no worries or concerns. Not even a question of what he was up to.

When he came through the portal Zane wasn't worried or confused at all, just oh? You need some help?? Sure let's beat these bad guys and not worry or show emotions! Is a tearful reunion for my fav character too much to ask?? Cuz he clearly deserves it. :(

And then into both Zane and Coke this season!! Love them!! They've always been my fav duo (gonna have to start shipping geo/Cole/Zane as poly now) it was so fun to see them going around together with Bonzle. They had some great moments and I'm praying we get more in the next part.

On the other hand it was a shame they got such small roles- just seperated from the others as a way to help Bonzle. It means they didn't have the same lessons or knowledge the others got which is totally unfair!! They have a lot to catch up on. They also never got a chance to be part of the main battle

It's dumb but I was kinda hoping for Cole to show off his stronger powers (he always seems to get new powers every other season but that's a discussion for another day). Like sure he could use his robotic mech suit but that's been done before! He can do his boulder thing now (unless somehow he still thinks he can't which means he kept up that form for several days on his quest) and when he made that giant mid hut to protect his family!! I want to see him do that again! Let me man go ape shit to protect Bonzle.

And on another note, Geo my beloved, you should get a chance to shine with your powers. A chance to show off or at least have a talk about them with Cole.

Next up WyldFyre. I was worried they would make her the annoying comic relief cuz if her injury but her talks about losing loved ones and dragon culture and her home were really sweet and it was great to see some development so driven by battles. I love those too don't get me wrong but like I needed to see this side of her. And I adore her relationship with Kai, being besties/mentors/dad for her works so great for both characters.

I will be first to admit that

Kai wasn't really my favourite. If you couldn't tell I love Cole followed by Zane. Always have and likely always will. I suppose that early Kai reminded me too much of some guys form my class and they turned into shitheads and I've always struggled to reconcile Kai's image form theirs. He was always a little too brash, hotheaded, and too often written as stupid to fall into my good graces.

And yet this season I adored him. Of course I've never hated him but like this season made me see what all his fans (many many fans) see in him.

I thought Kai being the first to master such a new, difficult and crucial skill was incredibly satisfying. Form all the way back to season 1 he's been the butt of jokes- having to learn he's not the centre of the universe and sometimes it's others like Lloyd who are the chosen ones. That's all great but him now getting a starting role, his ability being fueled by thoughts of his family, by his childhood and by protecting is friends was just too good to ignore him. Love this form of his character more than any other I've seen.

And now Kai is trapped :(

I'm glad he's got Bonzle with him tho so hopefully they can have each other's backs (she's meant to be a POWERFUL spell after all) they'll need each other if they're trapped with those other 4 guys. If they can apparently demolish everything then I'm rather worried for the duo. Tbh I'm sure they'll survive just fine, probably making jokes at Cole's expense all the while.

On a side note, I found it super cute how WyldFyre was willing to protect and go down with Kai. Besties I'm telling ya

Now Jay. I've never thought too hard about him I know he's one of the favs of the fandom but like Kai I was never so besotted with him. Still a great guy and omg I feel so bad. One of his worst fears was always being alone and now stuck, confused, forced to hide such a fundamental part of himself.

On the other hand he's got a gun now so that's fun!!

And you can't talk about him without mentioning Nya. He worst fears being him forgetting hurts my soul. And she was so sure it could never be true that she snapped out of her nightmare state!! She's going to break when she finds out.

She's already grieving her own brother, we saw her break down into WyldFyre (more proof she's an honorary sibling by now) but now knowing what's happening with Jay, I'm saying the angst is going to be overpowering. It's a greek tragedy fr

Part 2 is going to be rough. Jay only had a single scene but it's already a sign for the worst to come.

Speaking of things being rough, Lloyd is going THROUGH IT!! give this poor guy a break. I do appreciate that we physically get to see the effects of all his trauma- that everything that's happened has real consequences for his character and the story but I can't help but feel bad.

I've also suffered from anxiety for most of my life so to see it in a character like that feels really personal to me. Hope he gets a little break though, god knows he deserves it.

Have to say it's pretty funny that Lloyd's had so much Oni trauma that he forgot that he's part dragon too. Yes ninjas dragons can do spinjitsu why are you surprised at this point

The animation this season has been incredible, the fights were beautiful the angles so interesting and dynamic and I could go on for hours about how much I love it. It's always great when kids -and even animation in general is treated with respect. It doesn't dumb it's ideas and stories and characters for the sake of it's younger audience, and that makes it so much better for me who is definitely out of the age range.

I have my more points to make but I've been adding stuff in and off for ages so I'll probably go through this all later. Thanks for reading, please I want to know your own thoughts too I love discussing that kinda stuff!!

Ninjago DR S2 Spoilers!!!

Ninjago dr s2 was soo good because it really reminded me of like the Oni Trilogy, which is my favorite group of seasons ever and i really appreciated the callbacks it made like in the Oni trilogy and OMG like it had really good animation and Cole is when hotter than before which i didn’t know could happen but it did and Galadrial??? Wizard lady? Yes please she’s so cool and her character design is mwah chef’s kiss and the Finders are so found family it hurts. Also theory for Fitz since he has a crow mask on his head and marking like Akira, he could be a forgotten formling? Which is pretty sad but maybe. Also the parallels between Lloyd and Arin and Wu and Morro???? Help??!? It is not good in my opinion that Lloyd is trying to be like Wu girlypop you do NOT want to be like him you know how his first student turned out and also apparently Arin learned Shatterspin??? Like the similarities between him and Cinder’s Shatterspins are ENDLESS. I also think that Arin has the FSM’s or Wu’s powers now bc he has golden powers and is ✨special ✨who else in Ninjago have we seen with golden colored powers? Wu and the FSM. Also WHERE IS PIXAL????? Shes dead and never comimg back im convinced also i NEED that Frohicky plush i swear i need it for my mental health its so adorable ALSO NON BINARY FLAG ON ONE OF THE PEOPLE IN DORAMA’S SHOW HAD IT ON THEIR SLEEVE IM SCREAMING AAAAAAAAAAA anyway egalt is a dickbag he should listen to his wife and not rag on Arin pls you are not helping him with his self esteem issues bro. Bonzle is also officially one of my fav characters and i’m convinced that Zane was Cole’s gay crush or gay awakening bc they were super close and Cole was always more affectionate and touchy with Zane than the others (sorry lava) And Kai is so dad-coded it hurts he deserved to be the one to learn Rising Dragon technique i will fight anyone who disagrees. Also the fears scene was kinda funny like you had everyone else as like devastated and sad, while Nya’s just like “Jay would not fucking do that tf? Clearly fake” unfortunately it’s true and it hurts so much

How powerful is Mei compared to her brothers?

And how powerful is Mei compared to her father and Lloyd?

What are some abilities that Mei have?

What does Garmadon (all versions) and Wu and Lloyd and the Fsm think of Mei?

this is a wordy one :)))))

1. She’s a bit weaker compared to them bc she wasn’t made to be able to defeat them. In a fight, if she played her cards right she could maybe outlast them and tire them out, but they were made to be stronger than her since their elemental powers were meant to be more powerful, and they are more technically skilled as her training mainly focused on defense, while Wu and Garmadon’s training focused on offense.

2. She’s definitely weaker than her father but he’s literally god so I feel like that applies to everyone lol. As for Lloyd, I’d imagine she’s stronger than him just because she has more years of training behind her

3. For some context in my AU, Wu, Garmadon, and Mei used to hold the elements of Creation, Destruction, and Life respectively, but after Garmadon got bit, the FSM stripped them of their powers. He split their each of their elements into four separate elements (one bc he realized how dangerous it was for someone to have all of that power, and two a regular person probably wouldn’t even be able to hold all that power) and this is how we get our first EMS. Mei’s element Life split into the elements of Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. When she used these abilities, she could control weather patterns (on a small scale, just messing with the weather around the monastery) the life span of living things (She only used this on plants) and emotions (She never really used this though) If she had more time with her abilities, she could have learned how to control the weather on a larger scale and the life span of other living things, such as animals and humans, and the emotions of multiple people at once.

She doesn’t have these powers anymore but besides that she does know Spinjitzu, is most efficient with straight hand to hand combat, and is also really good at reading people if that makes sense? She’s spent a lot of time with people she just knows how to tell what people are feeling or if they’re hiding something. Also just being being out with the people of Ninjago she’s picked up different hobbies that she’s just become more skilled with years of practice (gardening, cooking, painting, playing instruments-she likes playing the piano and the flute the best. you name it she’s probably semi good at it bc she’s god’s unemployed daughter who’s really really old how else was she going to spend all those years?)

4. Wu and Mei never really developed a personal relationship, so they typically resort to the baseline instincts they have that came with their elements and overall creation-that Wu wants all things good to prevail and that Mei wants to keep Ninjago in balance. This leads him to be frustrated with her most of the time as he feels she is always blaming him for everything (which he’s not entirely wrong-he is not her fav brother and he knows it) and she also tried to interfere to his training of the Ninja. He thinks good can prevail and feels that she is getting in the way of bringing complete peace to Ninjago.

-Lloyd finds Mei to be the most “normal” person in his family, and he appreciates it. He feels that when he just wants to vent about his feelings, he can just go to Mei and she’ll never try to teach him anything or make a lesson out of it-she’ll just listen and help him feel more normal

-The FSM did overlook Mei slightly growing up. For all of his kids, while he was a good teacher and mentor he wasn’t exactly the best dad (he tried!! he did care for them but he cared for them the way he cared for everything else in Ninjago and only kept them close because he gave them so much power) It was just that Wu held his power of Creation, Garmadon required some extra attention due to the Devourer’s bite, and Mei…well Mei seemed fine on her own. He’d train her and help her study but for everything else, she had the power of Life! She could connect with her powers by being out with the people of Ninjago, she didn’t need him for that. (also just for this ik the FSM has both creation and destruction, but in this au destruction comes from the creatures that were on Ninjago when he first arrived, and he developed the elements of creation to oppose the destruction that originally made up Ninjago, so he has more pride in it which makes Wu kinda his fav kid)

(i think this is what you meant by all versions of Garmadon)

-Lord Garmadon was too focused on making Ninjago in his own image to care about the balance, the balance his sister tried to keep in place. When he was fully controlled by the evil within him, he saw Mei as an obstacle, something that stood in his way, but when he felt a little more like himself, he remembered how Mei told him that she’d understand that his actions weren’t always his own, as someone who would always care for him and try to see his side when no one else wood.

-Master Garmadon was always able to find comfort with Mei. Before being sent to the Underworld, there was a stigma around him, first from his element of destruction, and then it was bc of his bite, and even after the evil left him, he still had to deal with the legacy of Lord Garmadon. Even so, she was the one who could see past this. Bc he was Lord Garmadon, he gets the most public attention out of all his siblings, and bc of his bad reputation he feels the need to keep up this “aways good” appearance just to get people to stop thinking he’s evil, but with Mei he can be more himself with all his faults without being judged.

-Reborn Garmadon finds Mei to be an annoyance, especially when he first returned. She kept mentioning things that he didn’t remember, things he didn’t care for. This obviously left her disappointed, but he didn’t quite care. Eventually (during March of the Oni) while he still couldn’t understand her feelings of sadness and disappointment, he could at least realize that she was feeling like that, and that it was his fault. He was able to recognize and acknowledge her to be a good, strong person, someone that his son would be safe around (after he started reconnecting with Lloyd kinda)

-(also i don’t remember how he was in Crystallized cause i haven’t rewatched it but for rn i’ll say that uhmm they’ve maybe seen each other in passing? Mei is probably leaving it open for him to talk to her, but he probably hasn’t)

This is also maybe a good time to mention that i haven’t read the books oops!! I need to get my hands on them and I know there are some with good Wu and Garmadon content and i’m pretty sure they’re canon to the show so I should read them but for rn I’m not taking those into consideration

Morro was born in another realm but died there so his soul flew into the ninjago realm (sorry if I got that wrong I haven’t been watching ninjago for a long time and also don’t have Netflix and idk any good websites so I’ll have to call it ninjago realm for now until someone corrects me) and then he found his soul found a baby crying in an alleyway with the mother nearby who seems to have passed out and he noticed that the baby’s life force (I’m gonna have to pray you know what that) is slowly dimming so the soul possessed the baby, but the problem is he doesn’t remember his past life and now he just think he’s some random kid who can control wind-

He was 13 when he died but not in the canon way-

Wu looked a lot more younger (I hc that he used a spell to make himself look more like a teen bc he misses the old time where he and garmy would get along when they were younger so wu looks like his spinjitzu brother self now except taller but he’s still the same) and had told him about ninjas and he didn’t tell morro about the green ninja thing-

Morro was playing nearby a cave but he didn’t know it was where the realm crystal was- (nor will he ever know that it’s a thing-) a dude came by and told him he lost his belongings deep inside the cave while searching for his daughter who ran in there and requested morro to find it- and morro decided to accept the request and find in and yea- he died and the preeminent trapped morro inside the cursed realm thinking he went in there for the realm crystal-

In case you haven’t read my last post- morro has a ginger cat named windy who died

He has a strong sweet tooth- like you can cat a slice of cake and he’ll snatch it from you and run away (kinda like how tikki from miraculous ladybug literally almost destroyed the world with- um… idk what it’s called 😭) yes he’s that obsessed with it-

Dad cole is probably one of my fav things to see in Ninjago. He doesn't have his own kids, doesn't need to. He just keeps finding strays in his strange circumstances and taking care of them immediately.

Cole caring for baby/younger Wu has a near and dear place in my heart. So headcanon happily accepted!!

If the timeskip ninja had kids, Cole would be their favorite uncle and the parents personal go-to baby sitter

Date night, sick kid, busy schedule, tired parents you named it, they'll call up cole and he be extremely happy to take care of their kids, numerous adventure, fun little singing and dancing, and best of all napping

So the one I have been working on that is so self indulgent to me specifically is my ninjago crime au!

It's got heists, it's got mystery, it's got dad ronin, it's got an emperor garmadon who rules all of ninjago, it's got lloyd being a baby evil prince, it's got criminal ninja who dont know about their powers, it's got it all!

It's mostly about ronin because at first i was writing a "ronin meets the ninja without powers au", then i combined that with my "the ninja are vigilante criminals because garmadon took over in season 1 au" and boom ninjago crime au where ronin finds these inexperienced baby criminals in the garmadon-apocalypse and decided to be their dad now.

I've been writing it completely out of order, with the first part I wrote introducing dareth, who wouldnt be in it till way later in the main story I have for it. But I wanted to write him so bad in it, it's a one shot in the series now. Might make it a proper chapter once I get there. Theres a few other one shot things I have in the works that I'm not sure if I want them to be on their own or in the main story too. Because it can hold on it's own, but it also fits into specific parts of the story so idk I'll figure that out once I get there. I have over 10k written for this.

The story proper is where I'm introducing all the ninja and what their criminal jobs are (kai is a grifter and fighter, nya is a thief and tech, jay is a hacker and a builder, cole is a fighter and a grifter, zane is a planner and tech, lloyd is a thief and a fighter, and is garmadons right hand. And ronin is a thief and a planner.

All of their backstories in this compliment and explain the roles they have. And as they dont know about the ninja, seeing as wu went missing right before garmadon took over, they dont know they have elemental powers and haven't unlocked their true potential yet. The only one who knows a bit about this is lloyd, who never met wu and stumbled upon the green ninja prophecy accidentally. And garmadon, who knows about the prophecy and ninja, but doesn't know that they're still around.

So they all meet trying to steal the same object and monumentally screwing it up for each other, and then they were all hired/found out about the job through the same person and they join together to go to that person to figure out what is going on. Ronin watches all of this disaster unfold, then jumps into getting involved, unfortunately for everyone.

Garmadon took over ninjago with the golden weapons (basically s9 hunted) but in s1, because wu disappeared and never gathered the ninja to fight him. And now they will fight him, not with powers or elemental weapons, but with their wits and wills. And because what else can they do in the face of total desolation. They became criminals to survive this world. And they'll do it again to save it.

I love her therapy speak talk. Shes very cute and endearing to me and I don’t like that the fandom seems to hate on her so much.

1: DulcieEddie yes these are separate characters but they are a package deal to me. Dulcie Collins and Eddie Redcliffe. They are sooo so dear 2 me. I love how they mirror each others baggage I love that Dulcie is stuck in place while Eddie has just been violently ripped from her community I love their dynamic I love them Im crazy about them im. Insane im insane imm crazy im insane. AHQSJdkcwavsyuhvjnbs hzkdvl WATCH DEADLOCHHHH! WATCH IT NEOW !!!!!! (Honestly if this list was longer I’d name like half the characters on Deadloch LOL so many insanely well written female characters on that show)

2: Agatha Harkness. Crazy personnnn!!! I luv her she sucks and is a horrible person. She’d kin kokichi if she knew what that was. she’s so so sos o so sos tragic and traumatized and miserable. She’s a canon lesbian woohoo-ing the grim reaper like a sim. She was originally a villain. She was trapped in a mind prison for three years. She’s an actor. She keeps trying to fuck powerful insane women. She briefly becomes God in an alternate universe. Her life sucks. I hate her. She dies via gay sex no thats not a joke she actually legitimately dies from gay sex. Im not kidding.

She also kills a Mind Dog and admits to it in her fucked up little villain theme song and it’s incredible.

3: Marcilleee….bbbygirl u r so fucked uop. I love her as a mixed girl and I love her even more as a woman with a vague inferiority complex. I like that she is canonically a teacher. I love a lot of things about her. I could write essays on Marcille she is genuinely such an interesting and nuanced character but that’s not what this list is so I’ll save that for a comic or smth. ANYWAYS. I love Marcille so much.

4: Falin Touden sure lets put the dunmeshi ppl right next to each other. I love Falin. Falin is so interesting and a lot of her is inferred bc her ass is dead most of the time. But everything we know about her paints such an interesting picture. Also she’s really cute to me. Sorry I know it seems like I have less to say, I have a lot of thoughts on Falin but they’re difficult to put into words. I think I like her so much bc I really relate to her narrative arc being centred around other characters inability to see her as an adult, and her finding the confidence to assert herself as one.

also bc of this page. Most important Falin page imo, it completely changes everything we know about her. Like its one of the few real glimpses we get into her inner world, and its dark. Girl has got trauma for days but u know she doesnt think she has any at all.

5: Teruhashi Kokomi. Jdhjhj Ough. So many characters I wanna put here. But I think I have to put her. I luv Teruhashi so much , I mostly talk about her on my side blog for saiki k stuff but I really love Teruhashi. She’s fascinating and also she is sooooo fucked upppp! her insane twisted sense of self is my favorite thing about her. Also her hatred of children.

- so right off the bat, garmadon would fully blame himself for it. he’d think “he was scared, i should’ve just gotten the sword. none of this would’ve happened if i just could’ve been a better brother.”

- ooh, angst: fsm still favors wu in this au, so when he gets bit, it makes it even worse

- cause fsm also blames garmadon, but doesn’t outright say it. he shows it, though.

- emotional damage!

- the love triangle with misako would be worse since the evil would influence wu to go after her merely to take her away from garm

- obvs garm becomes the ninja’s sensei rather than wu (and he gets those damn kiddos some therapy abt halfway into their battles)

- now here is the thing. lloyd decides to be a #rebel and get closer with his uncle before he’s banished, rather than his dad

- so wu and lloyd have a pretty good relationship, which makes the final battle extremely sad

- lloyd resents his father a little bit, since for awhile he believes it’s his fault his uncle was bit

- obviously lloyd comes around, but eesh that’s some more emotional damage

- hi im cyrus and i like to make my favs suffer

- evil wu constantly taunts garmadon with “none of this would’ve happened if it weren’t for you, brother. i was scared. i didn’t want to hop the fence! i was relying on my big brother!”

- when wu becomes good garmadon nearly cries tears of joy

- he hugs that mf so tight

- wu tries to reassure garmadon it wasn’t his fault he got bit, saying they all need to face their fears one way or the other

- he apologizes for the things he said about it being garm’s fault, since the evil was influencing him

Luoyang episode 2 spoiler-y watch notes

This show is really, authentically GOOD btw. It's early to say for sure how this lines up with my fav dramas, because that really depends on how well the plot plays out, but v promising.

Excellent job setting the stage for the empress. The series establishes her as a powerful character thru the behavior of others - the tension and sweat from the summoned officials and guards.  The paleateable fear in the room. I really love how there is no need to make her bluster or chew scenery.

And huh, looks like that tossing around of the empress' name by Inner Guard wasn't short-sighted after all. This Madam Wu does have the monarch's trust (for now). Makes Lord Gao look more foolhardy in retrospect. He should have had a better pulse on the political situation. So if it's not that he's a dumbass, then the man is crooked. 🤔 Remains to be seen.

Madam Wu actually has seemed so far to have the interests of the empress as her guiding priority, so this trust is likely not misplaced. Which also underlines the impression we have so far of the empress as strong and capable. (The 1 person she trusts to handle the situation is the right one).

The Baili arranged marriage plotline still feeling so reminiscent of how this usually goes for a female character. You see men in these dramas not want their arranged marriage, but the tone is usually different.

We may have finally found someone more unnecessarily extra than Mr Scraggly Man of Mystery: head of the intelligence agency, Lord Chu, who walks around wearing a metal mask with a disguised voice like some DC Comics supervillian

If Scraggles wasn't in lockup right now I would have bet this on being his 3rd secret identity, just because of the drama.

But no, he's busy getting tortured and playing cat & mouse games w the Lord Gao crew for reasons still unknown to the viewer. I admit I'm really intrigued by this dude.

Cut to Baili pacing around w his pretty face and asking all my questions. Thanks for being the voice of the viewer but when u gonna join the plot?

And we're back to the arranged marriage plotline and Baili who still is isolated from the plot, but yet again I'm kinda interested in the vibe we got going on here, where dad has set up this marriage so Baili will have someone to protect him, take care of him if the dad dies. Liiiiike this is really so similiar to the cdrama female forced marriage tropes 👀👀. The book-smart, sheltered foodie son who doesn't want to be protected but is being forced into a marriage w a rich family. (even his servant is rather protective) He's so huffy lmaooooo

Ok so Scraggles Man of Mystery is from the slums and this infamous slum is also class-based, where the people there are basically exiled descendants of criminals. INTERESTING.

I haven't been excited for a movie for so long, and I'm really satisfied with it (well there's no way I would be disappointed tbh, it's going to end I HAVE FEELINGS FOR IT)

I heard some people say the pacing feels a bit rushed, I kinda agree with that but I find it alright since they have so much to resolve in one movie.

I was so worried about whether Ken is going to survive after a few minutes into the movie😂😂 his interactions with Dan Fei just... sus or I'm thinking too much. He even got his spare back (I just watched the final trailer, the spare is already in the trailer. Oh well)

LIN AND THE DEMON KING'S(sorry I forgot his name in English:/) FIGHT AAAAAAA Some parts were kinda too dark but overall it's just STUNNING. Always love a good fight with mirror self. Also I lowkey wished it could be slower, they were moving so fast I couldn't really catch what they were doing xD Guess who is going to replay these parts endless time when I got my hands on the movie.

The Demon King Is. So. Pretty. He's basically the same as Lin but even more flamboyant with makeup. HE'S SO PRETTY I CAN'T

I felt so sad about how Shang kept leaving Tain Ming, always running away, always running off saving the world. Sigh, it's okay, they'll meet again one day in the future.
