On the left: The de facto ruler of the Tang dynasty from 665 to 705, ruling first through others and then from 690 in her own right. Under her proactive and decisive 40-year reign, China grew larger, becoming one of the great powers of the world, its culture and economy were revitalized, and corruption in the court was reduced before being removed from power in a coup and dying a few months later. In this manifestation, she is older, more confident, and no longer afraid of ghosts. Using her mastery of Tao Arts to manipulate and control jiangshi, she is Wu Zetian.

On the right: An entertainer from the Azuchi-Momoyama period. She is said to be the progenitor of early Kabuki dances, which, after many changes to the dance styles, has become the Kabuki of the present day. She is said to be the shrine maiden of Izumo, and travelled through various provinces, performing her dances as she went. In truth, she is also a Priestess of Sealing, who seals and destroys the demons who thrive in this world. The mechanical warrior Zanzaburou, that assists her is a sacred treasure passed down in Izumo since ancient times that she personally named, modified, and remodeled into a Mystic Code for her use. She is Izumo-no-Okuni

I actually had this idea before the Halloween event happened, but since it also had a fairy tale theme I decided to go ahead and finish drawing it. Have a few other concepts that I might do later.

1. The Twelve Dancing (Singing) Princesses - starring Elizabeth Bathory, Elizabeth Bathory, Elizabeth Bathory, Elizabeth Bathory, Elizabeth Bathory, Elizabeth Bathory, Elizabeth Bathory, Elizabeth Bathory, Elizabeth Bathory, Elizabeth Bathory and Elizabeth Bathory, with special guest appearance from Elizabeth Bathory.

2. Sleeping Beauty - starring Ritsuka as the cursed princess, Arthur as the prince, Skadi/Merlin/Tamamo as the three caster supports fairies and Dantes as the evil sorcerer who Ritsuka must beat up in order to escape from the dreamscape that she got trapped in. Wait, what?

3. Little Red Riding Hood - starring Medb as Red Riding Hood and Cu as the wolf who is only just realising who was responsible for giving him the collar for his costume.

4. Peter Pan - starring Voyager as the boy who never grew up, Abigail as Tinker Bell and Erice as Wendy.

5. Snow White - starring Yang Guifei as the princess, Wu Zetian as the evil and cruel queen who is rightfully angry at Guifei for leading prince astray, and the Tamamo tails as the seven dwarves. Why does Tamamo get to star twice? No, no, the tails are completely distinct from Tamamo, you see, now ignore that shady image in the mirror please.

this one made me laugh bc like, yeah limbo is my special little princess but also he is one of my many special little princesses, like i love limbo but im not The Limbo Guy, if that makes sense (i have many guys)

That said there are simply too many fate blorbos i have and no easy way to list them in a perfectly objective top 5, so I shall do something fun instead, listing them in tiers. As expected, the list expands as it goes on (not every servant listed obvs)

Remember people. If there is ever a design in FGO you don��t like, just blame Takeuchi.

Even if he didn’t draw it, he still has final say in what designs make it into the game, and can easily override a decision design wise.

He’s the reason Ushiwakamaru is nearly naked.

He’s the reason Nitocris is wearing less normally than her Summer outfit.

He’s the reason Boudica’s first Ascension looks like it came out of a hentai.

And remember most of all, he allowed Minase’s character designs to get in, including Chloe and Wu Zetian.

This man is the cause of most design related issues.

So when in doubt, blame Takeuchi.
