My friends and I made an EP inspired by Iron Widow by @xiranjayzhao called Empress of Nightmares and it's streaming everywhere and to celebrate, I drew this Wu Zetian.

OUR FIRST EVENT IS HERE!

It's my honor and joy to announce our first Iron Widow Event! And nothing better than a Reread so we can once more be in @xiranjayzhao's world and, of course, be ready to Heavenly Tyrant release!

During the event, challenges and games will be released weekly. It's your choice to just read with us, or participate in the challenges. Gets her revenge in the first three chapters by killing a powerful ass man. Gets arrested, turns the most powerful guy to exist into her bitch.

Wu Zetain thrived off spite, rage, and unwillingness to be told what to do.

Wu Zetain is a powerful ass woman, and my favorite character. Iron Widow is a 10/10 book, it deserves a bigger fanbase. It's also a sci-fi retelling of a Chinese Empress, and China's only ever female empress to rule over China. That very Empress' name was wu Zhao, but otherwise known as Wu Zetain.

Everybody talks about the polyamory in Iron Widow but I'm really drawn to Zetian having a connection to three different chrysalises like that's so neat girl is fox-coded bird-coded and dragon-coded she should totally get to keep the three like they're luxury cars. She should get to top Yizhi in the nine-tailed fox or something.
