This city seemed full of people decked out in purple garb, though -- and red, making up some of the most scantily-clad individuals outside of a stripper joint she’s ever seen. Must be some sort of gang thing, yeah ? Terra had grown up in such neighborhoods, so it was easy to distinguish fads from turf colors. 

               “ kinda pimpish, if y’ask me. “ and maybe he was one. That’s what she hates about going to new cities for work ; back home, Terra knew all of the pimps ‘round town, every last brothel, and worker due to her sociable nature and ear for gossip. Travel was fun, though -- usually.

            he was right ; Draven stuck by his promises, only going back when someone else does it first. Of course, the witch was well aware of it -- she simply liked ensuring things. His tendency to mess with her has made her develop some sort of skin towards his antics ( but he knows how to melt that all down, unfortunately ).  

          a small hum is given as her eyes land on something familiar, wasting no time in popping it from its case to place it within the stereo. The rolling, deep beats that pour from the speakers is a rhythm most of her dances were created to, fingers trailing up her sides as she sheds the first article of clothing: her loose flannel.               “ yeah, yeah -- I know. “ Terra drawls, hand grasping hold of the cold silver metal and trailing around it idly. “ I know too damn well. So, where you gonna take me for ice cream after this ? “

A victorious grin appeared on his features, yeah he had something no one else that can have, that was her. Yeah he can be a hardass but she knew how to deal with the nephilim some how. Draven leaned back into his seat, eyes gazing at her every feature and curve to her body. Man, what a woman he had found. “When have I ever went back on my word? I keep a pretty good track record on that shit y’know.” Once he gave his word, he always intended on keeping it to the bitter end.

    alright, honestly, she did not expect him to accept. I mean, a near stranger offering you a drink wasn’t entirely normal -- but she is in no way mad about this turn of events. She wouldn’t have asked, otherwise ! 

              “ Pah, of course it is ! I did offer. Not like you were exactly beggin’ for anythin’. “ Terra replies brightly, pattering across the hall towards her own door. Shoes had been abandoned long ago, traipsing about her building barefooted, as usual. The door is then swung open & left for him to follow, kicking aside some scattered books and lighters that lay scattered on the floor, obscuring her way to the nearby kitchen. “ s’good for your head ‘n stuff, y’know. Lavender is a great plant ! Helps with headaches, too. Oh -- sorry ‘bout the mess, by the way. Ain’t had a lot of time to clean up. “             ( working double shifts at work leaves her free time scarce, but her paychecks great. )

This woman seemed nice; she was even offering you something refreshing to drink before you set off to your next destination. That was awfully nice of her–you’d gladly accept.

“–I wouldn’t mind something to drink,” you said in reply. “As long as it’s actually okay with you. I don’t want to intrude.” It was odd for the mailman to enter a person’s house–in your opinion. Still, you knew from an early age to never turn away a free meal or beverage.

     “ you already got somethin’ no one else gets. “ the witch comments, arms crossing tightly over her chest. Her stare with him remains level, two different spectrums of brown staring right at the Nephilim. What a hardass, yeah ? The witch certainly chose a stubborn enough partner for her particular habits. 

        Giving the underside of his chin a graze with her nail, Terra moves, digging about the random collection of CDs for something suitable to her style. “ Aright, aright -- if it means more ice cream. You best not go back on yer bets, Draven, ‘cause that bed will be cold if ya do. “

“Hey while yer at it, why not make it a lil more personal eh?” He chuckled, a brow quirked up while torso leaned in closer to her. “Somethin’ for me that ya give no one else and whatever ya want, is at yer command.” Although the oral sex sounded nice, he was quite interested at what she could do. Let’s see if sweetening the deal could put her up to the challenge.

              “ petty spells -- ?! “ oh, to the gods does Terra just want to hex her ! Mother may have raised a witch with standards, but ignorance was a curse in itself. The goddess would surely forgive her and her attempts at proving to this -- woman -- that witchcraft was indeed real, right ? 

            She gave a rather annoyed huff, hand flying up as ice rapidly forms across tan skin ; an icicle point has formed from her finger, now pointed directly at the stranger’s nose. It glistens in the spring sun, “ petty spells my arse, lady ! “

“Tch, if you’re actually a witch then you’re wasting your time on petty spells. If you wanna go ahead and prove that I’m talking out of my ass then go for it. Whatever fucking hocus pocus you follow in is probably a load of crock.” Was she going to budge from her stance from this? Not really until she sees it for her own two eyes.

            “ really --- tha’s all it takes with you ? do a lil’ routine on the pole an’ yer gonna get me what I want ? “ the witch laughs, lazily pushing up from where she lay to jut her hip out to the side and stare at him with a grin. “ could’a just taken the head. “ 

               “ --- y’got yerself a deal, though. Ain’t like I don’t do this shit daily, anyways. “

Just like that it dawned on him. “Y’know I never saw you up on the stage….” He muttered to himself, propping himself up on his shoulders. “How ‘bout this. Show me what ya show everyone else an’ I’ll get ya yer ice cream. How’s that?”

                  “ yer funny, lady. Real funny, ‘cause like -- yer literally tryin’a explain this to me, an actual witch. Literally. No jokes. “ 

         And while she wasn’t offended, considering that was the usual view of witchcraft & magic, it did irk her somewhat ; everyone’s always so quick to write it off nowadays ! If it weren’t for magic, a majority of this damn technology wouldn’t even be real !
