Loose rambling/theorizing in the coming days before OC4 releases but...

I do wonder if OC4 is less 'Ritsuka is on trial for ???', and more 'The Human Order is on trial and Ritsuka is serving in the place of the defendant as a representative of Humanity'.

Because most of the dialogue from Angel Jeanne in the trailer isn't condemning Ritsuka at all. It's affirming, justifying, and complimentary. And it makes sense.

Even if this is a Jeanne-Angel Fusion Pseudo-Servant... Jeanne led the charge for Ritsuka's Grand Order at Solomon's Temple. Jeanne was the one who Ritsuka helped in the First Singularity. Jeanne was the first Extra Class that Ritsuka summoned.

Jeanne is on Ritsuka's side. Has been, constantly.

And with that in mind, Ritsuka's done well... but regardless, are those actions serving a just cause? Are the forces that be that prodded Ritsuka to do so as just in their actions?

Ritsuka was made to do this... so what of their 'employers'?

A lot of people poked a lot of points of hypocrisy of the Human Order via Ordeal Call's premise. Ritsuka had to summon Extra classes... and frankly, the Human Order handed over a lot of them. Nobody told Ritsuka that there was some sort of fundamental misunderstanding until Ritsuka went for the game-winning shot and got smacked out of the air by the Human Order because of a new, arbitrary set of rules.

Ritsuka's been operating as a piece in a larger game, currently Marisbury's allegedly devastating plan in support of the Human Order-- and that's not something Ritsuka fully understands or knows how to fix yet outside of 'get to CHALDEAS'. So maybe this will clear up just what Marisbury's doing. What crimes are actually on the table, and how to stop them while simultaneously exonerating humanity.

It is also the title of the chapter so, who knows how clever I'm actually being here.
