He can't stand the thought of seeing you happy with another person, and he told you that honestly.

But fast forward to today, you're dating this guy who's been treating u really nice and you think you can see a future with him. He's great with the money, he works as a lawyer, he's got a house and a car 一 he's everything you can ever hope for in a bachelor. But it scares you that you've not even taken a long time in the dating process and he's already on one knee proposing to you in the middle of a high-end restaurant and you are so shy. People are clapping and you can see the bartenders already preparing to pop a champagne for the two of you as a congratulations.

You want to say no. It's still so soon, you haven't processed any of it enough yet, he still seems so foreign despite being such an eligible man who's been doing nothing but treating you nice and kind. There's just something that you can't find in him, that you have been searching in him. Perhaps it's the warmth or the look that he gives you that just doesn't feel right enough. You want more.

as much as i want to say no (because i think it’s a bit cliche if they did 😭), i’m leaning towards yes, they probably did!

there’s a gap between their 18’s to late 20’s that i think could have opened opportunities for them to date other people but with having to watch over megumi and tsumiki + balance sorcerer work, it’s unlikely that they really had time for other serious relationships!

i don’t think either of them are the type for flings either 😭 col reader does go on a few dates though!! but it doesn’t really progress into anything (cos she’s in love with satoru lol but it’s ultimately just the drawbacks of the job), and as much as col gojo’s a pretty boy, i don’t see him being very interested in the dating scene either (he has too many other things to think abt 🤧)
