Royal Knight Spitfire and daughter-of-Celestia princess Rainbow Dash

This is such an interest AU idea that it completely captivated me. Rainbow as royalty screams catastrophe to me. That girl would be in trouble or causing chaos nonstop - like getting it on with the captain of the royal guard. Who either doesn't fully grasp what thin line she's walking on (unlikely) or is arrogant enough to to think her skills make her untouchable (more likely).

Either way, this is a fantastic excuse to put Rainbow in her grand galloping gala dress <3 I absolutely adore that one.

Give it up for the New York Wonderbolts!

Siobhan "Spitfire" Pierce-Evans, Irish immigrant. Got her start as a aeroplane mechanic's apprentice before becoming the first female pilot in WW1, flying reconnaissance for the UK. After the war, she went on to fly competitively, winning third place in the 1924 Italian Schneider Cup. After that, she immigrated to the US, where she began her baseball career with the New York Wonderbolts and quickly rose the ranks to become team captain. Pitcher, killer curveball. [Inspired by Dorothy Arzner]

Soren "Baby Face" Christensen, Scandinavian-English American. Lives in Brooklyn near the Fifth Avenue Line. Competitive pie eater. Slugger, with a 0.340 batting average. Mama's boy. Used to work on an airstrip and fly in the airmail service in the early 1920s. [Inspired by Babe Ruth, Superman, and the human form of the tanukis from Pom Poko]

Faizah "Fleetfoot" Farraj, 2nd-gen Syrian American. Lives in Little Syria, Manhattan with her family. Has been playing baseball all her life. Fastest sprinter on the team, infamous base-stealer. Despite being one of the youngest on the team, she has a head of grey hair due to a magical incident from her childhood. Speaks with a lisp. [No inspiration]

Admiral Fairy Flight!

Another Wonderbolt of days gone by, this guy came from an era when they needed to protect themselves. Those leggings are made of a reinforced fabric, similar to our kevlar. Same as the neckpiece, which is also used to display rank.

During this time, all Wonderbolts got an earring of the insignia. Fairy's is actually the second one he's gotten, his original having been ripped off in combat.

Honestly, as soon as Spitfire becomes a constant element in Scootaloo's life, she immediately gets a bunch of additional aunts and uncles - because I am convinced all the WBs adore her.
