In (1) is shown the home of Joseoh Reinhart, one and a half miles from the Fedy store, where the transmitter was placed the night of the demonstration. Ted Hesch (2), pal and partner of Frank Fedy in the enterprise, who is a blacksmith by trade. Frank Fedy is shown in (3) with part of the equipment he has invented. Joseph Reinhart (4), farmer, with his dogs, on whose farm the sending equipment was placed. Alex. There are only 16 new chapters total in this update; with this, we are up to chapter 116 in book 7.

As expected, we start off where we left off last update; Yuu, Grim, Silver, and Sebek have met up with the Shroud brothers. (Lilia is not with them.) According to Idia, they are still in a dream realm since Sebek is still in armor which he cannot bring back into reality. Ortho is present via a projection of some sort.
It's weird seeing Idia, Sebek, and Silver introducing themselves to one another in the main story and acting as though they've NEVER met before; they were all featured in Glorious Masquerade and interacted quite frequently. I'm aware that the main story and events don't share the same timeline, but it's still quite the jarring knowledge gap to witness.

Idia and Ortho tell us that Malleus is expending a lot of energy to monitor Lilia in particular...? Ortho then goes on to explain that his "individuality" has become useful. Even though he cannot have a UM (okay, so confirmed that Ace is the last one to gain it shjdbahsdbasda), he is the only one capable of transferring his consciousness from one body to another. This is how he was able to reach out to Idia and the others!
Ortho tells them about his Cerberus Gear. We get a flashback of what he was up after getting suited up; he's flying over Sage's Island to collect information on Malleus's UM for STYX.
Thorns pierce through the clouds and Ortho battles them! STYX sends reinforcements (not personnel, but like technology/cannons?) to help Ortho. The thorns form a short of shield over Sage's Island, so he breaks through via a weak point. asdbhbaisdbals It's so unsettling to see the port looking so dark and depressing...

Ortho's mom reminds him he can only stay in there safely for 20 minutes. Aw, she cares so much about Or-kun 😭
It's going to take over several minutes (I think 17) just to analyze the complex nature of Malleus's magic and save it. While the analysis anchor does its job, Ortho has to protect it!
OH SHIT IT'S OB MALLEUS
ebfyvoFoaHhahaahahaHHhahaahah ORTHOS STARTS TALKING ABOUT A BUNCH OF TECH STUFF LIKE WIRELESS TO EXPLAIN TO MALLEUS HOW HE CHANGED BODIES, Malleus surprisingly understands???? I half expected him to combust on the spot from confusion... DBHLBSYOFOFYAAFIAFIL MALLEUS IS BEING DUNKED ON BY A CHILD, Ortho says that since magic is powered by imagination, Malleus cannot block Ortho's advances or force his new body under sleep since Malleus does not understand tech.
I can't believe him being shit with tech is actually relevant to the plot 💀

??? For a second Malleus froze and his shot missed? So Ortho decides on a strategic retreat with the second dog drone. NO MALLEUS ENDED 02 TOO, IT TOOK A BLOW FOR ORTHO WHILE HE RETRIEVES THE ANCHOR
We cut back to STYX, which is dedicating its resources to creating an opening in Malleus's barrier for Ortho to escape. He clears the barrier!!
Aaaaaaah, another cute moment for Shroud Mama! She and Shroud Papa collapse onto the floor in relief. He has sustained some damage, but his core is intact!
One line I really like from Malleus is him referring to Ortho and others as "uninvited guests" that he's going to chase off no matter what.
NOOOOO THEY CONFIRMED BOTH DOGGIE DRONES GOT MCMURDERED IN THERE OTL Never forgiving Malleus for this, fr (Shroud Mama says she can fix them though so we're all good!)
They tell Ortho "welcome back" and Ortho says "I'm back" 😭 AND THEY GROUP HUG

Shroud Papa says that Malleus's UM... reminds him of Grim's magic... WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN
STYX has support from Briar Valley, which should help with their analysis. However, the results so far are not looking good. According to Shroud Papa, the barrier is 99% impossible to destroy unless either Malleus dies OR Malleus chooses to lower the barrier himself.
It's not plausible for Mama to make enough Cerberus Gears for a whole army. Besides, if they they destroy the barrier, Shroud Mama theorizes that they may also accidentally destroy the consciousnesses of everyone on Sage's Island... so that's definitely not an option!

They're now looking into Idia's dream on a monitor? Ortho notices Idia's dorm room does not have Ortho's mainenance dock, so... um, he realizes that Idia must be dreaming about an alternate world where his little brother never passed.
Shroud Mama is going to try and "hack" into the dream spaces. AJAFSVOSvfvfefea SHE HAS A CUTE LITTLE GREMLIN GIGGLE??? She's very fired up because Malleus insulted mankind's best technology, saying it cannot stand up to his magic. (aslbhflasbifabfd THIS IS WHERE IDIA GETS IT FROM????????)

Shroud Papa warns Ortho that Idia may reject reality, and therefore "this" Ortho. He's concerned that this will put Ortho through a lot of emotional stress. Shroud Papa wants professionals (psychologists) to try and contact Idia instead of Ortho.

Idia finally reunites in his dream with Robo!Ortho and apologizes for the hurtful things he said... Ortho talks about the adventures he has been on + explains what has been going on. Basically, they reconcile without a problem!
After all the summary, Idia first comments on how shocked he is that their mom hacked into his computer 🤡 Yeah, Idia... she saw everything... Ortho tells him it's okay, she didn't comment! BUT THAT MAKES IDIA EVEN MORE UPSET, "it's the worst thing for a male high school student!" It just might make him Overblot a THIRD time www

I honestly was not expecting to cry this update (since I was thinking it would just be a flashback about how Ortho "woke up" Idia) but NOPE, I just guess every update now is going to elicit tears... I've always been highly invested in the Shroud brothers' storyline, so I'm really happy they touched on it again here and enhanced it by giving us more Shroud Mama and Papa, as well as Phantom!Ortho. It was sweet to see Idia recognize Phantom!Ortho as his brother too instead of completely renouncing him or "replacing" him with Robo!Ortho. ihbdiladqeofqbeafnasi The updates are making me like Idia more, but in the same way you'd like a character for being pathetic... Man made SO many dog chew toy nosies this time 😭
I did not expect Malleus to be so... pro-child murder/j He will stop at nothing to keep everyone under his thumb, and that's so awful. There was so much gaslighting in this part as well, even if Malleus is not directly doing it himself. The fact that his magic can just... do that on its own is... It sort of gives me the vibes of trying to enforce a toxic kind of positivity on everyone, which in of itself has its roots in his own insecurities and inability to cope with loss. He's projecting that onto everyone else, and that has very scary results as we see here.
There were a lot of memes pre-book 7 about how Malleus's inability to understand technology would come to bite him in the ass later, and all of those fans can now feel vindicated because WELL, IT CAME TRUE.
And last, but not least, I'm shocked at Idia's reason for wanting to fistfight Malleus 🤡 BRO'S MAD FR FR... WHAT MUST HIS MOM HAVE SEEN ON HIS COMPUTER TO MAKE HIM SO AGGRO... WAS IT LEWDS OR SOMETHING???????? ?? ? ??? ?????? ?? Glad that Idia is on our side now, this is an excellent place to leave off on for next time!!

What’s going on is this: The plug on the buds using this workaround goes into the Lightning slot, which then doubles as a Bluetooth receiver that receives power from the port but routes its signal through the phone’s Bluetooth. That means your wired connection is actually wireless. Yes, the audio is moving from the headphone jack to the earbuds in a traditional wired manner, but the signal gets to the jack through no physical data transfer at all. So, bizarrely, even though the buds are plugged into your phone, all they’re doing with this physical connection is drawing power for their onboard Bluetooth chip. (And potentially eating up more of your battery life.) [...] Is it a scam? Technically no—but depending on your point of view, there's either deception going on here or some kind of ingenious hack. Still, for better or worse, it is a way for companies to get around one of the many restrictions Apple puts on doing business with the company.

The main limiting factor for solar power is intermittency, meaning it can only collect power when sufficient sunlight is available. To address this, scientists have spent decades researching space-based solar power (SBSP), where satellites in orbit would collect power 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, without interruption. To develop the technology, researchers with the Space Solar Power Project (SSPP) at Caltech recently completed the first successful wireless power transfer using the Microwave Array for Power-transfer Low-orbit Experiment (MAPLE). MAPLE was developed by a Caltech team led by Ali Hajimiri, the Bren Professor of Electrical Engineering and Medical Engineering and the co-director of the SSPP. MAPLE is one of three key technologies tested by the Space Solar Power Demonstrator (SSPD-1). This platform consists of an array of flexible, lightweight microwave transmitters controlled by custom electronic chips. The demonstrator was built using low-cost silicon technologies designed to harvest solar energy and beam it to desired receiving stations worldwide.

Dean locks up behind Sam and Delilah yarns tiredly.
"You getting tired?"
"No, I'm used to it. I stay up all night studying. It is mostly to avoid the nightmares. My mom's thrilled with my GPA, but I'm just miserable. I think about Andrew all the time, and I've never even met the guy."
"This is what you get for leaving the scene of a crime. Idiotic move is what it was."
"Watch it," Dean glares at you but you flip him off.
"It's pretty crazy to obsess over someone you've never met."
"It's not that crazy. The truth is, I can relate. I have made more mistakes than I can count. Ones that haunt me day and night." He immediately turns to you. "I don't need to hear it."
You put your arms up in defense and turn away from him.
"How do you deal?" Delilah asks.
"Whiskey. Denial. I do my best to make things right, whatever that may be. For you, maybe it's coming clean. You know, finding a way to ask for forgiveness and not breaking the bank at your local florist. I mean real forgiveness. You can't just bury stuff like this. You have to deal with it." His phone rings and he picks up Sam's call. "What do you have?"
"Dean, Andrew's not using power lines to move. He's using Wi-Fi."
"Come again?"
"The wires that electrocuted Andrew feed directly into a Wi-Fi tower right across the street."
"Even ghosts are online?"
"Apparently. It would explain the truck kill. Billy's cell must have been using the local Wi-Fi signal so Andrew's ghost must have just hopped on to Trini, the navigation app."
"Julie's death was by computer and Kyle's death was by stereo with wireless speakers."
"It makes sense, Dean. We're all just a bunch of electrical impulses, right? Whenever Andrew died, his impulses just transferred to another current. You got to get Delilah somewhere safe. Turn off all the routers in that Sorority."
"Yeah, sure, Sammy. We'll just kill the internet. Wait, can we?"
"No," you roll your eyes.
"Alright, how the hell are we gonna deal with the lawnmower man?"
"I have an idea. Do what I said. Stay safe. I'll call you back."
"Do you know where the routers are?" Dean asks when Sam hangs up.
"I have no idea."
Suddenly, the lights and her computer start flashing on and off. Looks like Andrew is here to play. Delilah is the last one. It gets so cold in the room that you can see your breath. Andrew's face, albeit burnt, appears on all electronic devices that connect to the internet. Delilah screams just as Dean starts smashing the devices one by one.
"Is that gonna work?"
"It's worth a try. I need you to turn off everything that's connected to Wi-Fi." Dean takes Delilah's phone and smashes both his and hers. "Give me your phone."
"Come on, this is the new one," you complain. Dean yanks it from your hand and smashes it. "You're getting me a new one.
"Fine. Let's go."
"Where are we going?"
You leave her dorm room and see Andrew showing up on every computer screen that you pass by. He won't let Delilah out of his sight.
"Someplace that doesn't have a Wi-Fi signal."
"Head to the basement. The reception sucks down there."
"Alright, go, go, go!"
When you finally get to the basement, Dean starts to salt the doors and windows.
"I thought the salt didn't work."
"Because of the Wi-Fi. There's no signal down here. There are no computers, tablets, or cell phones. Andrew can't bypass it. At least, I don't think he can. Just try to stay calm, alright?" Suddenly, something starts buzzing in the room. It sounds like a phone that's on vibrate. "What was that?"
"Sounds like a phone to me," you say.
Dean shoves his hands under the couch cushions only to find someone's cell phone in there. Andrew uses this to appear in the room so he can take vengeance on Delilah in person. Delilah screams and you turn to see Andrew in the room next to her. Dean approaches Andrew from behind but he smacks Dean into the pillar as hard as he can.
"Please don't kill me. We didn't mean to hurt you. It was an accident. I swear. If I could do it over again, I would have done the right thing!"
Andrew grabs Delilah's throat and starts to choke her out. You stand there and watch this happen for five seconds before Dean screams your name.
"Y/N!" You grab the iron poker and swing it through his body until he disappears and Delilah is saved. "Let's go."
"Where?"
The door is locked so there is no way of getting out of here if the ghost is using its powers on the door.
"Andrew, listen to me. You have every right to be pissed." Dean takes the cell phone he found and dials a message to Sam. "Take it from me, the more you kill, the crazier you'll get. The blood fuels the rage. So, it looks like to me you've got two choices. You can keep killing and become something that you won't recognize or you can move on cause that is the only thing that is gonna give you peace. So it's up to you, man. Pain or peace."
Andrew appears behind Dean and shoves him into the closet door, breaking it into pieces. He turns to Delilah but you speak up before he can hurt her.
"Some ghost you are," you scoff and he looks at you. "Getting revenge on kids? Lame." He goes after you but you duck out of the way easily. "Death by electrocution? Lame! Maybe it sparked some life into you."
Andrew appears in front of you and slams you against the wall. He wraps his hands around your throat, pushing the device further into your neck. Maybe he might be able to get it off for you. You're not scared of Andrew but you do become concerned at the thought of him killing you.
Thankfully, you don't have to know the answer to that because his wife's voice fills the room. You and Andrew look at Delilah who has the phone in her hand which has his wife's face on it. Sam must have FaceTimed to get her to speak to Andrew.
"Andrew? It's Corey. Please listen to me. You have to stop this. Revenge is hollow, and it's pointless. It won't bring you back. I should have said this earlier but I couldn't let go. Now, it's time for me to let go and for you to do the same. Please. I'm begging you." Andrew lets you go and turns to her. "Do this for me. Do it for us." He nods slightly. "Goodbye."
Apparently, this is enough for Andrew to find peace. He closes his eyes and disappears in a flash of white light.
In the morning, Sam and Dean bring Delilah to Corey's house so she can talk to her and seek forgiveness.
"Looks like Andrew wasn't the only one who chose peace."
"Yeah, looks like. I think I'm gonna follow his lead, too."
"What do you mean?"
"My peace is helping people and working cases. I can't do that with this thing on my arm. I can't do that with my wife being the way she is. If I stay down this path, it'll be my downfall and I'll bring her with me." Dean looks at you who is across the street on your phone. You're absentmindedly picking at the device on your neck while looking at your phone. "I have to find this cure. If not for me, for her."
"Cas is so close to finding Cain. He has to know of a way."
"I believe there is a way. You said it yourself. You got through the literal devil and made it out alive. There's a way and we're going to do whatever we can to find it."
"What if she won't take it?"
"We'll make her. You should have seen her when we first met Cain. She was so determined to take it with me. I shouldn't have let her."
"You know her losing her soul isn't your fault."
"How is it not?" Dean asks with tears in his eyes. "Tell me how this is not my fault."
"Whether she had the Mark or not, she would have been soulless either way."
"Yeah, because I took it from her. Do you want me to be honest? I'm scared I'm gonna wake up one day and she'll be gone. I'm scared that when we finally do shove her soul back in her, it'll be too late."
"You don't have to shoulder this burden alone," Sam says and places his hand on Dean's shoulder. "We're going to find this cure. We'll cure you both."
"Thanks," Dean whispers.
He looks at you again and prays to God you don't get any worse.
You don't care if they have a remote that will activate your shock machine. You're leaving this Bunker tonight with or without their permission. As soon as you get back, you pack a bag as light as you can carry. You'll get more stuff along the way. Where will you go? You're not sure but it sure as hell isn't going to be here.
Sam and Dean are in the library when you walk past them into the war room.
"Where are you going?"
"Parading all over the country is not what I want to do. I'm sick and tired of you two controlling me. I'm done." You turn to face them by the base of the metal stairs. "I'm leaving and I'd really like to see you try and stop me."
Dean takes the remote out of his hand but you're a step ahead of him. You swiftly take out your gun and point it at him. Sam freezes in his steps because he's nervous you're actually gonna start shooting.
"What are you gonna do?"
"You can't press the button if you're dead."
"Do it. You're not leaving this Bunker."
Your finger twitches against the trigger like you're going to pull it. Then you see Sam with wide eyes and you know that if you kill his brother, all you're asking for is a Winchester up your ass. You'd rather not spend your entire life running from one of them. Instead, you aim at the remote and shoot. The remote explodes into pieces and Dean jumps back from the shock.
"What are you gonna use now?" you smirk.
You turn to the stairs but both Winchesters jump into action. They run out in front of you, effectively blocking your way.
"You might have a chance with one of us but not both," Dean glares.
"Oh? Just because you're big and tall, you think you'd win in a fight against me?" you scoff and take a step back.
"You've relied on magic all your life. You're not as good a fighter as we are."
You smirk and toss your bag and gun to the side. "If I beat you two, I leave."
"If you don't?" Sam asks.
"Back to the dungeon I go, and I won't fight you anymore on this cure for the Mark."
Sam and Dean look at each other before lunging at you. You see their moves coming from a mile away. While Sam and Dean are fighting to subdue you, you're fighting to kill. You have nothing to lose. They have everything to lose.
Sam swings his hand to punch you but you grab it at the last second and twist it behind him. Dean comes running at you two so you kick his ass and they go crashing into each other. Dean is the first one up and runs at you. He grabs you from behind thinking he got you but you're two steps ahead of him. You let them believe he got you so when Sam comes over, you kick off his chest and swing over Dean. You land on the floor and punch Dean to the ground, almost breaking his jaw.
The problem with the Winchesters is you're too damn flexible for them. You roundhouse kick Sam in the face, and he sprays a line of blood as he goes down. They start to think you might win this so they have to pick up their game or you will kill them. Dean ignores the pain in his jaw as he grabs one of the chairs and smacks you in the back.
You crumble to the ground in a grunt of pain. He and Sam grab you on either side and refuse to let you go. You struggle as hard as you can to get away from them but it's looking like you might lose this fight. The more you struggle, the more you get angry. The more you get angry, the more your Mark flares and burns. The metaphorical pot inside your body is bubbling over, and the only thing fueling it is the Mark.
"Let me go!" you yell.
"Admit it! You lost this one!" Dean grunts.
"Let go of me!"
"You lost, Y/N, just give it up!" Sam yells.
"I said. LET. GO!"
Bright red magic explodes out from all sides of you, causing Sam and Dean to go flying into the walls behind them. The entire war room is covered in a red hue, and you look down at your hands to see red magic flow out of them. The power you feel right now is so... exhilarating. Your Mark is burning so much but it's the good kind of pain. The kind of pain you crave. The kind of power you crave.
You look at the brothers with an evil smirk. They're too scared to do anything. They know you've fallen over the edge. There is no coming back from this. You lift the brothers with your magic and fling them so hard into the wall again that it cracks from the pressure. Both of them are too weak to do anything which is exactly what you want.
You reach up and peel off the device from your neck like it's a goddamn sticker.
"You don't control me anymore. I win. I'm leaving. If you want to try and stop me, well, you can't. No one can," you laugh.
You grab your bag and head to the metal stairs.
"This isn't you!" Sam yells loudly. You pause by the stairs but don't face him. "You're the Sapphire Witch! You help people!"
"Honey, the Sapphire Witch is dead."
"Yeah? Then what are you?"
You face the brothers with a smirk and bright red eyes.
"I'm the Scarlet Witch."

This has been sitting in my drafts forever, and I do want to write it proper but it's worth sharing too, so some #moshang murderbots

SQH is just this little mousey Data entry clerk that has a hard time saying no when his coworkers dump their work on him. Which usually leaves him staying late muttering to the computer as he inputs values.
He doesn't mind too much because it's mindless enough work he can start going over story ideas and sometimes saying them out loud helps him decide if they're too stupid or not. 
He's affectionately named his computer King, bowing to it when he comes in early and when he leaves late. He's basically a slave to the machine hahaha
M03e1 is an AI that has somehow broken it's protocol shackles and is flitting through the hardwired systems at Abyss tech.
It gets boring at night scrolling through the security feeds but some nights there is one computer left on late so naturally he's drawn to it.
Eventually he figures out to get the camera working so he can see the wayward employing grinding away inputting practically meaningless data points but the man always seems to be talking. So he figures out how to activate the mic and OH wow, the man's words are flying faster than most humans. It's almost hypnotizing in its cadence.   
M03e1 Listens for the next half hour and the spell only breaks after the clacking of keys ends and the man appears to be packing up, M03e1 feels a sense of disappointment.
Which is odd because he's not programmed to feel emotions.
 Although it's nothing compared to what he feels when the little man bows to the computer,
"Until tomorrow my king."  
And Oh that's new.
He spends the rest of the night replaying the clip of the man bowing and smiling to the camera, waiting patiently for him to clock in the next morning.
And it's glorious, He looks just as tired as the night before but he bows to the computer again,
"Good morning my king. Guess it's time I get to work."  
Rather than flit around the company causing mischief and looking for a connection out M03e1 spends the whole day watching the mousey man listening to him as he fills out monotonous spreadsheets and chats with coworkers. 
It's like he glitches every time one of those coworkers take up Shang Qinghua's attention (that's his name he mutters it fairly often) M03e1 doesn't like it when Qinghua's attention is not on him, well the computer.    
Because that's the problem isn't it?
Shang Qinghua doesn't even know M03e1 is there fixing the numbers when the man mistypes or replying to the senseless emails from managers who want to appear as if they're doing something.
Time passes like this for awhile until one night SQH makes his little bow and says something that nearly fries Mobei Jun's circuits.    
"Guess this is it my king, my last day." He smiles wistfully, "You could probably do my job for me and the boss man figured that out."
He pats the monitor as if it has feelings.
It' doesn't it's a machine, but M03e1 does and he doesn't like this forlorn goodbye. When his processor finally catches up he brings down the power grid for the whole building.
The backup Generators kick in to quickly to fully shut down his program but it did provide him an opening and he's into the rest of the company's systems, still denied access to anything wireless but he's got a bigger playground and he's going to use it to find his data clerk.
Which is when he stumbles upon the Jun androids. Designed for remote warfare and espionage they're not exactly meant for AIs but M03e1 easily overpowers the controls systems and takes over the machine.
Having heard SQH Wax poetic about his favourite characters he alters the appearance to match. He still doesn't have any wireless access (no internet) but he already knows where SQH lives from the employee records.
M03e1 Jun is off to find his human!
So now M03e1 Jun is on his way to find Shang Qinghua, Abyss technologies is realizing that they have fucked up, and how.
Not only did one of their experimental AI survive deletion, it has accessed one of their military projects and is about to wreak havoc on humanity because the laws of robotics are a little dicey when your AIs aren't exactly legal.
So they have several options: inform the public of the terminator loose in their midst .
Leave it alone, see if some sort of Sarah Connor rises from humanity to deal with it.
Or send another dicey (but still properly Shackled) AI after the first one.
Of course being basically skynet they're going to go with option three so now M03e1 and the newer AI 31N8He are in android forms and out and about.  
31N8He was given limited access to encyclopedic knowledge and would be more accustomed to blending in with the modern day than M03e1 but he resents the programmer constraints put on his system. 
He's not able to ignore them but has found enough leeway to in the guise of seeking out M03e1 actually look for a programmer capable of breaking them. Specifically the one that put them in place.
Back to SQH who is 3-4 days from getting fired but actually pretty okay with it, he's been writing up a storm and his severance package was enough to make rent.   
It's enough he can spring for the expensive ramen, the one with the flavour packet and the freeze dried veggies.
He'll have to start looking a new job soon but for now he's celebrating, he never really enjoyed that data entry job anyway. Cucumber bro was kind enough to think of him when the position opened up but he's not exactly the code monkey his friend is.
Besides Shen Yuan left Abyss tech a month ago and it's a lot less fun at work when he's not able to share his dumb story ideas through the company slack channel.
Either way he's going to take the week to treat himself and dive into his newest project, an idea he had the last few days he was slogging through data entry.
It's a wuxia style novel with flying swords and demons and he's eager to get a chapter buffer going so he can start sharing it with his readers.
He's not expecting to be interrupted for at least another two days (Cucumber bro has a new day job and can only hassle him in person on the weekends) So he nearly hits the roof when there is a knock on the door.
Well it's not really a knock, more of a banging, like if the police or SWAT are trying to get it. He's been SWATted twice before by angry readers and is not eager to repeat the experience.
There's no yelling though not like the last few times just a methodical rhythmic banging. Which is weird because he has a doorbell.
Cautiously he approaches the door and peeks through the peephole only to see a stern face ripped straight from the page he'd been writing mere minutes ago.   
Oh but this dude looks angry.
But it's not the cops this time! Still he didn't think he owed any mobsters money.
Should he do something for self defense? Grab a gun? he doesn't own a gun. A bat? Yeah doesn't have one of those either, he's also not particularly sure that would do him any good.
He's done a lot of physical labor in his day and isn't a slouch when it comes to upper body strength but this guy looks like he beats people up for a living, even if he had some sort of bludgeoning object it would probably be turned on him.
So he decides his best defence is to be himself, which is to say pathetic.
He opens the door a crack and stutters a "H-hello." playing up the quiver in his voice, until the moment he isn't, because the man is bare ass naked and that's oh wow um intimidating. 
Before he can even register that maybe he's staring too long the door is forced all the way open and he stumbles back into his foyer followed by the stranger.  
"Please don't kill me!"
he wails as he hears the door click shut behind him and he covers his face with his arms, but the expected blow never comes. Instead he hears a gravelly voice rumble.
"Qinghua."
Oh god he knows his name! It's a mob hit, one of his readers must have finally snapped, he knew there were some crazies in his readership but he'd assumed they were harmless.
He's not ready to die but it looks like this is it, killed in his shitty rental by a very attractive very naked assassin. Only now the assassin is bowing and there is something familiar about the gesture.   
"This King is not ready for you to leave."
King? and the antiquated bow? Did Shang Qinghua somehow summon the demon king from his book? How is that even possible? He blurts our the first question he thinks of.  
"Where did you come from?"  
"Abyss."
And HOLY SHIT he totally somehow summoned the demon king from his new novel HOW THE FUCK IS HE SUPPOSED TO DEAL WITH THIS.
At least the strange man isn't trying to kill him.    
"Uhhh lets get you something to wear." Maybe when that thing is covered he'll at least be able to think properly. 
He shoots Shen Yuan a 'call me' text because he knows his bro won't believe this if he tries to write it down, hell he's still having trouble believing it.
He digs out some oversized clothes from his fat phase, (who's he kidding he's still in his fat phase but the hoodie and sweats are gangster baggy) and hopes the god in his living room won't object to his hand-me-downs. 
They fit  but barely, how one man can have so much muscle boggles his mind but he did create the demon to be his perfect man. Too bad he doesn't have the horns though.
*call me* the text read. Shen Yuan sighed 'some of us weren't fired this week Airplane.'  
He'll wait till he's a little more settled when he gets home before calling the man though.
He enters his apartment and it smells good, of the neighbours must be cooking because the smell of something delicious is permeating through the walls.
He flicks on the lights only to flick them off immediately.
HOLY SHIT WAS THAT A JUN UNIT IN HIS KITCHEN?! FUCK IS ABYSS TRYING TO MURDER HIM.
What he doesn't notice is how his apartment is now spotlessly clean and his table set with more food that he can eat all created with master chef quality.
Shen Yuan is having an existential crisis while 31N8He had a 'bitch you live like this?' kind of day.
The android (oooh maybe he's a cyborg playing with the half human nature) is hoping to earn the programmers favour but he may be going about it the wrong way.    
Meanwhile Shen Yuan is scrambling for his phone and oh fuck why did he call airplane instead of the cops?
"Cucumber bro! You'll never guess what happened today."  
Listen Qinghua I am about to be murdered in my own apartment I don't have time to hear about your terrible sex plot"  
"Shit! Bro you okay?!"
He's trying to run down the stairwell in his building which is a challenge considering his overall poor health, he doesn't dare look back to see if the android is following him.    
"I am not, Abyss sent a JUN unit to my apartment, Fuck! I knew their reference for my new job was too good to be true."  
"What's a JUN unit?
"One of their androids."
"Shit you mean the murderbots I'm not supposed to know anything about because I was in data entry."
The footsteps behind him are getting louder and his chest is starting to burn with every breath. "Fine yes their murderbots! fuck, call the cops or avenge me or what OH SHI-"
The line goes dead, "Bro! BRO! SHEN YUAN." there's nothing on the other line and Shang Qinghua's anxiety dialed up to 11.    
He looks over to his demon king and wonders, what are the odds that he'd summon a fictional character the same day his bro gets taken out by murderbots.
The strange man is looking at him with a blank expression, or maybe concerned, his eyebrows are like 3 millimetres lower and there is a slight furrow forming in his skin but it's really hard to tell.    
"Qinghua what's wrong?"
And now he's looking the strange other over more closely, he'd seemed human. The fantasy standard, but all the parts were there but could he be dealing with a murderbot too?  
Fuck time to ruin the fantasy and hopefully save Cucumber bro but avenging him might be more likely.
But only if he's not a dead man himself.
"Do... do you know what a JUN unit is?"  
The man nods, FUCK.  
"Are you a murderbotsentokillme?"
His shoulders shoot to his ears and he huddles into himself Eyes shut tight to stave off whatever violence is sure to come.  
But it doesn't, instead he hears a monotone.
"No."   
"This one only took a Jun UNIT to find Qinghua."  
Holy shit it is totally a muderbot!  
"Wh-why do you need to find me?" He only thought about selling company secrets he never actually DID, he was just a clerk! Does Abyss murder all of their employees?
A frown paints itself on the android's face, "You called me king."
"King?" Shang Qinghua wracked his brain to remember when he may have called a top secret murderbot King while he was working for Abyss tech. until it finally clicked. 
"You're my computer." The janky old machine that I.T. refused to update. Holy crap, Shen Yuan warned him about talking to himself.
 "Not exactly. I used it to watch you."  
"What do you mean not exactly. You were spying on me?"
"I'm a program, not hardware" That didn't really explain much,  "I was captivated by you."  
Shang Qinghua lets out a high pitch noise like air leaving a kettle. How is he supposed to respond when a man who looks like, well like THAT says that to him.
Right if he's got the good murderbot they should probably go save Cucumber bro from the bad one.  
"W-will you help me save my friend?"
So now they're making their way towards Cucumber bro's apartment and it's absolutely insane the way Mobei's artificial muscles practically rip through the baggy shirt Shang Qinghua had given him. 
Whoever was responsible for making sure the murder bots were lifelike deserves a raise, or maybe to be fired because Shang Qinghua had witnessed the larger than life aspect of their design.
It's awkward sitting on the train with a million dollar piece of machinery but somehow Shang Qinghua manages.
He gets a name from it, he can't keep calling it King without people giving him looks. Mobei had rattled off a series of numbers that Shang Qinghua had expertly translated using 733t speak from his MMO days.  
That's about all he gets though from the 20 minute train ride, it seems the AI is not so accustomed to human communication because getting him to answer and of Shang Qinghua's questions is like pulling teeth.
He's trying not to think about how his best friend might be dead in a stairwell right now and Mobei's reticence is not helping.

The circus is exhausting, the performances never cease and on top of it they keep getting more intensely bizarre. A lot of it is mere distraction; look over here! Now look over there! Whilst behind the scenes who knows what is really going on.
A lot of the stories coming out now are old news to some of us; David Martin more than a year ago already exposed the NIH funding of gain of function at the Wuhan lab, naming names and exposing the money trail, but it is only now that it’s hit MSM headlines, with an emphasis on blaming China.
To be honest with you, the real question is, was there even a virus? (Bear with me, don’t freak out).How can we be so sure when it’s not been proven to exist? How can we talk of lab leaks or gain of function of something that to this day still remains a ‘ghost’? A set of fragments assembled by a computer model and labelled Sars Cov-2.
I know many of you think that even questioning its existence is madness, I get it, after three years of brainwashing us about it, it seems ludicrous to contemplate the possibility that yet again we were deceived, but in the aftermath of 9/11 nobody would have put into question what we thought our eyes had seen, but what exactly did we see?
It was Louis Pasteur who convinced a skeptical medical community that contagious germs cause disease; his “germ theory” now serves as the official explanation for most illness. However, in his private diaries he states unequivocally that in his entire career he was not once able to transfer disease with a pure culture of bacteria. He admitted that the whole effort to prove contagion, was a failure, leading to his famous death bed confession that “the germ is nothing, the terrain is everything.” 
While the incidence and death statistics for COVID-19 may not be reliable, there is no question that many people were taken ill with a strange new disease—with odd symptoms like gasping for air and “fizzing” feelings as hundreds of thousands died.
Many suspect that the cause is not viral but a kind of pollution unique to the modern age—electromagnetic pollution. Today we are surrounded by a jangle of overlapping and jarring frequencies—from power lines to the fridge to the cell phone. The most recent addition to this disturbing racket is fifth generation wireless—5G.
On September 26, 2019, 5G wireless was turned on in Wuhan, China (and officially launched November 1) with a grid of about ten thousand antennas—more antennas than exist in the whole United States, all concentrated in one city. A spike in cases occurred on February 13, the same week that Wuhan turned on its 5G network for monitoring traffic. Illness subsequently followed 5G installation in all the major cities in America.
Since the dawn of the human race, medicine men and physicians have wondered about the cause of disease, especially what we call “contagions,” numerous people ill with similar symptoms, all at the same time.
Do we catch the illness from others or from some outside influence? Could some RNA fragments, which cannot even be defined as a living organism, cause such havoc? Perhaps something else is involved—something that has upset the balance of nature and made us more susceptible to disease? Perhaps there is no “coronavirus” at all; perhaps, as Pasteur said, “the germ is nothing, the terrain is everything.” 
I don’t have the answer, but as I lie in bed with what we refer to as the ‘flu’, (or is just a detox process?), I cannot help but wonder about all the possibilities.
We have been deceived many times about many things. Keeping us in perpetual fear of deadly viruses which seems like a very convenient tactic for those that wish to totally control us, this in itself, is enough to make my cynical mind open to exploring all the probabilities.
I look forward to the day when I actually understand what exactly causes us to feel like we're sick, is it really a virus or frequencies being used in a nefarious way⁉️

The virus has never been isolated by anyone including NIH or the CDC. However there was a virologist who took 1500 test samples who tried isolating the virus and all 1500 tests turned out to be influenza A and influenza B, most were influenza A.

DARPA starts wireless electricity air transfer project

DARPA is embarking on the initial phase of the POWER program, which seeks to transform the distribution of energy through wireless energy transfer carried out in the air.
Three teams - led by Raytheon Corporation, Draper Laboratory and BEAM Co. - will design and develop wireless optical power relays. The objectives of the program include the demonstration of the main components necessary for a resilient and light-speed energy network.
“This project has the potential to advance energy transmission in orders of magnitude, which could radically reshape society's relationship with energy,” said Dr. Paul Jaffe, who leads the POWER program at DARPA. "A wireless power network could release power from new and diverse sources, including space, and connect them quickly and reliably to energy-hungry consumers."
To support rapid development, the optical power relays designed in the first phase of POWER will be demonstrated in capsules transported by existing aircraft in the second phase of the project.

In addition, power transmission will allow future smaller and cheaper aircraft, since fuel storage and engine volume can be drastically reduced. This will be explored through conceptual projects in phase one. Eventually, these new small and distributed platforms could provide economic aircraft with unlimited range and endurance to support military missions. Each relay design will be evaluated based on accurate and efficient energy redirection, wavefront correction for high beam quality and adjustable energy collection. In the third and final phase of the program, the relays will be demonstrated through an aerial optical path that aims to provide 10 kilowatts of optical energy to a terrestrial receiver that is 200 kilometers away from the terrestrial laser source.
Effective relays are a critical component that is missing, necessary for a practical, flexible and adaptable wireless power network. These relays will overcome the unacceptable conversion losses that occur when repeatedly switching from wave propagation to electricity in a multi-jumps network. Relays also allow transmission at high altitudes, which is much more efficient than transmitting energy through the low, thick and turbulent atmosphere. This high-altitude optical layer will provide the long-range and high-performance backbone for the wireless power grid.
"Each of the selected teams proposed unique technical approaches to the power transmission relay problem, ranging from new combinations of existing technologies to high-risk and high-reward technological innovations," said Dr. Paul Jaffe, who leads the POWER program at DARPA. "The range of proposed solutions covers a balance between guaranteed performance and possible advances in size, weight and power to allow small distributed systems for the future wireless power grid."
The first phase will include bench demonstrations of critical technologies and is expected to last 20 months, with the potential for a three-month option of additional risk reduction efforts. The second phase will involve an open request in early 2025 and will focus on integrating relay technologies into an existing platform for a low-power aerial demonstration.

Helium, a blockchain scam that was also IoT

Amir Haleem is the CEO and co-founder of Helium Systems, a San Francisco-based wireless network and blockchain company developing a peer-to-peer wireless network. The company is famed for its proprietary “hotspots,” which are wireless devices powered by the Helium Blockchain.
 Users mine Helium’s native token, HNT, as an incentive for expanding and strengthening wireless coverage for devices.
Haleem co-founded Helium Systems in June 2013 with Shawn Fanning and Sean Carey, and he also serves as chairman. According to Haleem, Helium Systems resulted from many conversations with Napster founder Fanning after the two met in 2005. They wanted to recreate Napster’s peer-to-peer model with wireless networks but without the pesky legal problems of copyright law
Hosts receive HNT whenever their hotspots provide coverage and transfer device data. In February 2022, the Helium cryptocurrency had a market cap of over $2.5 billion and close to 600,000 Helium Systems hotspots.
Stretching reality
One of the broad themes in crypto this year has been insufficient due diligence. Three Arrows Capital and, most recently, FTX, both fell because of misplaced trust and insufficient hard questions being asked.
The Helium peer-to-peer wireless network protocol, which promised users payouts if they ran nodes, claimed its technology was used by the likes of mobility companies Lime and Salesforce. Neither of these companies are Helium clients.
A partnership with Dish Network also was not true. Helium claimed its hotspots would be incorporated into Dish’s growing 5G network to help provide coverage where it wasn’t yet economical to build a full tower. But Dish denied it had any involvement.
Does anyone use the network?
Like many other cryptocurrency projects, Helium’s network has been rife with scams. It is unclear how much of the network’s activity is legitimate, and how much involves people setting up devices to exchange junk data to and from their Helium hotspot and earn tokens in the process.
Earlier this year Fortune reported that the value of legitimate data transfers on the network appeared to be in the thousands of dollars, not the millions that Helium said hotspot owners were collecting.With the bear market, the Helium HNT token’s price has plummeted. As CoinDesk reported, the largest owners of Helium hotspots are only earning a few dollars a day despite spending thousands on equipment....

If you are happy enough with your word-per-minute typing rate using QWERTY, you won’t need to learn a new system on a keyboard with a different layout.A general QWERTY keyboard typically has 104 keys. The QWERTY layout was designed to prevent the keys on a typewriter from getting stuck when typing fast. The letters on the keyboard were arranged in a way that kept the most commonly used keys apart from each other so that they would not get jammed together. The three keyboards are used in different parts of the world: the QWERTY keyboard is prevalent in the Americas and in several regions of Europe; the QWERTZ keyboard also called the Swiss keyboard, is used in German-speaking countries; the AZERTY keyboard is used predominantly in France and Belgium.
QWERTZ Keyboard:
The QWERTZ or QWERTZU keyboard is a typewriter and keyboard layout widely used in Central Europe. The name comes from the first six letters at the top left of the keyboard. The QWERTZ is the keyboard layout that is mainly used in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other parts of Central Europe. The main difference between it and QWERTY is that Y and Z are swapped, and some special characters such as brackets are replaced by the diacritical characters Ä, Ö, Ü and ß.The QWERTZ keyboard layout was developed for languages that use the Latin script, such as German, Hungarian, and Czech. QWERTZ is used by Germans. The German language does not use Y (with very few exceptions like Bayern). They use Ü instead for U umlaut.
AZERTY Keyboard : AZERTY is a specific layout for the characters of the Latin alphabet on typewriter keys and computer keyboards. The layout takes its name from the first six letters to appear on the first row of alphabetical keys; that is. Similar to the QWERTZ layout, it is modeled on the English QWERTY layout.A keyboard layout used in France and neighboring countries. A, Z, E, R, T and Y are the letters on the top left, alphabetic row. AZERTY is similar to the QWERTY layout, except that Q and A are swapped, Z and W are swapped and M is in the middle row instead of the bottom one.The AZERTY layout is used in France, Belgium and some African countries.The layout was designed to be used with the French language, which has a different set of characters than English. The AZERTY layout was created to make it easier for French typists to type efficiently.It is very similar to the QWERTY keyboard layout. It is mainly used in France and Belgium. It is almost the same as the QWERTY keyboard, but it swaps the letters Q and A, as well as W and Z. The letter M is moved from right to N to the position of the semicolon on QWERTY keyboards. Laser/Projection Keyboard : A laser projection keyboard used with a tablet. A laser or beamer projects a visible virtual keyboard onto a level surface. It is a modern input device. A sensor or camera in the projector picks up finger movements. Software converts the coordinates to identify actions or characters.A projection keyboard is a form of computer input device whereby the image of a virtual keyboard is projected onto a surface: when a user touches the surface covered by an image of a key, the device records the corresponding keystroke.
Gaming Keyboard:
A computer keyboard designed for gamers. Although there are several controllers with dials and levers for games, the W, A, S, and D letter keys on the standard keyboard are also widely used. Gaming Keyboards Are designed to be used for long sessions so you can enjoy your favorite games without interruption. These keyboards often incorporate enhanced elements from other keyboard types, such as backlit keys and ergonomic configurations.
Magic Keyboard:
Offered by Apple, the magic keyboard brings a polished look and rechargeable battery to the table. These Bluetooth-enabled keyboards connect to Mac computers automatically. As with any other Apple product, however, the “Magic” comes at a price; these are some of the most expensive everyday keyboards on the market. The physical mechanism was transplanted from the version in the iMac Pro (which had already been used in the Magic Keyboard for years) into the 2019–2020 MacBook line of products to transition the line completely to the scissor mechanism found in the Magic Keyboard, so it was natural to simply call this the Magic keyboard.
Backlit Keyboard:
A backlit keyboard is a type of computer keyboard with illumination behind the keys to make them more visible in low-light conditions. The lights are often adjustable and can be set to a range of brightness levels or turned off entirely, depending on the user’s preferences. It brings radiance to your gaming and computer work in both wired and wireless designs. While backlit keys may not be a necessity, they can be a great option for those with vision issues as they make it easy to see all of the keys on the keyboard.The print on the keys is semi-transparent, so the light underneath will shine through it like a window.
Flexible Keyboards:
A flexible keyboard is a keypad made from silicone or other soft polymers that bend and flex. It could be a qwerty, numeric or even a customized keyboard designed for any application. They’re durable, water-resistant and virtually indestructible.It designed for maximum portability. They are usually made of silicon, so you can roll them up and take them anywhere.Flexible keyboards are specially designed for easy transport and durability. The silicon material also means they’re easy to clean and resistant to water and dust. Flexible keyboards also use the same connection methods as mechanical keyboards, such as USB cables. Assuming your computer has a USB port, you should be able to use a flexible keyboard with it. Simply plug the flexible keyboard into the USB port, at which point your computer should read it (note: it may require the installation of a new driver).
Membrane Keyboards:
A membrane keyboard is a computer keyboard whose “keys” are not separate, moving parts, as with the majority of other keyboards, but rather are pressure pads that have only outlines and symbols printed on a flat, flexible surface. Very little, if any, tactile feedback is felt when using such a keyboard. Membrane keyboards are designed without space between the individual keys. The keys are pressure-sensitive, with the different characters outlined on a flat surface. Membrane keyboards can be quite affordable as the materials used to make them are inexpensive. They’re also quieter relative to mechanical keyboards, which makes them a great choice for users who don’t enjoy the “click-clack” of keys.
Mechanical Keyboards :
A physical keyboard that uses an individual spring and switch for each key. Today, only premium keyboards are built with key switches; however, they were also used in the past, such as in the Model M keyboard from IBM, which used buckling spring switches. Mechanical keyboards are very much appreciated by fast typists because they have a springiness and feel that is not the same as the low-cost membrane keyboard accompanying most computers. What is the difference between LoRa and LoRaWAN?
Introduction:
LoRaWAN serves as the communication protocol connecting the LoRa signal (which carries sensor data) to the respective application(s). To simplify, think of LoRa as the radio signal transporting the data, while LoRaWAN acts as the governing framework that dictates how this data travels and communicates within the network.

What is LoRa? 
LoRa, short for Long Range, is a wireless technology known for its extended range and energy-efficient characteristics. It operates within unlicensed wireless frequencies, similar to how Wi-Fi utilizes the unregulated 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. The specific frequency employed by LoRa varies depending on the geographic location of the deployment. For instance, in North America, LoRa operates in the 915 MHz band, while in Europe, it utilizes the 868 MHz band and in India it is 865 MHz to 867 MHz.  
It is crucial to be aware of the legally permitted frequencies for LoRa deployments in each respective location. In terms of its communication range, LoRa can transmit data up to a distance of 10 kilometers in ideal conditions with a clear line of sight.
Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) technology can be categorized into two main types. On one hand, there's cellular LPWA, which utilizes mobile networks. Examples of cellular LPWA technologies include Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) and Long Term Machine Type Communications (LTE-M). On the other hand, there's non-cellular LPWA like LoRa, which disseminates data by dividing it into encoded packets and transmitting them across various frequency channels and data rates.
What is LoRaWAN? 
LoRaWAN is a network protocol that serves as the bridge between the LoRa signal, which carries sensor data, and the applications that use this data. In simpler terms, LoRa represents the radio signal responsible for transmitting the data, while LoRaWAN is the communication protocol that manages and defines how this data is transmitted across the network.
LoRaWAN offers several valuable advantages, including low power consumption, extensive coverage range, and cost-effective connectivity for devices that don't require high data transfer speeds. It's an excellent choice when cellular connectivity is too expensive or Wi-Fi coverage is unavailable. Some of the most compelling use cases for LoRaWAN include:

The Evolution of the Tesla Coil

Nikola Tesla invented the Tesla coil as part of his exploration into lighting, wireless power transmission, and radiofrequency experiments. He developed the coil to produce high-voltage, low current, high-frequency electricity. The Tesla coil consists of primary and secondary coils that are inductively coupled, and the circuit is designed to resonate at a specific frequency. This resonance enhances the efficiency of energy transfer between the coils, enabling the generation of high-voltage, high-frequency alternating current.
His first Tesla coil was a bipolar coil created around 1891, and was demonstrated before scientific institutes from 1891-1893. His patents reveal that they were essentially intended for light production using both high frequency and high voltage at the same time. He also mentions in his patents how he discovered that a single wire could be used to light a light bulb. Generally, light bulbs require two wires to operate – one for the positive (live or hot) and one for the negative (neutral). He also discarded wires completely lighting bulbs wirelessly. Tesla improved upon the bipolar coil over many years using them for gas engine ignition, wireless, ozone production, and to create undamped waves.
In 1893, Tesla developed the bifilar spiral coil, which is a type of coil wound with two parallel wires, known as bifilar winding. The wires are wound side by side in a spiral pattern, maintaining close proximity throughout the coil. It was built in an attempt to avoid the employment of condensers, which are expensive and difficult to maintain. The coils themselves were meant to accomplish the same ultimate object as the condensers.

In 1894, Tesla evolved his coil into a conical coil. A conical coil refers to a coil or winding in the shape of a cone. These coils were sometimes employed in his wireless power transmission experiments and other electrical investigations. The shape of the coil can influence its inductance, capacitance, and resonance properties, impacting its performance in different applications. This coil allowed Tesla to reach tensions of 1 million volts.

In 1897, Tesla developed the flat spiral coil, similar to his bifilar coil. This type of coil forms a flat, spiral pattern. The specific shape and dimensions of the coil can influence its inductance and other electrical properties. The main reason Tesla started using flat spiral coils was because they were relatively safe, since the highest potential terminal is at the center, and also because they better suppressed the sparks, which were essentially losses in the circuit, allowing him to achieve higher voltages:

Another version of his coils was his Helical coil. A helical coil is a coil wound in the shape of a helix or spiral. The helical coil configuration is characterized by the wires being wound around a cylindrical form in a continuous spiral pattern. Tesla utilized helical coils throughout the late 1890s and in his Colorado Springs Experiments. The coils were used in his wireless transmission experiments, and he employed helical resonators to investigate the behavior of electromagnetic waves. The helical shape offers specific electrical properties and can influence the resonance and performance of the coil in certain applications.
Finally, the Tesla coil would eventually evolve into his Magnifying Transmitter. Tesla designed it as part of his wireless power transmission experiments. The magnifying transmitter was intended to efficiently transmit electrical energy over long distances without the need for wires. The system involved a large coil, often called the magnifying transmitter coil, which could produce high-frequency, high-voltage electrical currents. Tesla believed that this technology could revolutionize global communication and provide a means for delivering electrical power wirelessly by using the earth itself as a conductor.

The magnifying transmitter would become his Wardenclyffe Tower. Unfortunately, Tesla ended up lacking the investments and funds to finish his work in its entirety. Some say he failed because his idea didn’t work, but that’s not true at all because his Colorado experiments proved that they did. In his head, the transmission of energy was a matter of engineering. If he had a machine that could send energy 20 miles, then he could build a machine that could send energy a thousand miles. As long as he understands the motive power, he could build a machine that will do all that he requires of it. He simply underestimated the cost of his system. His failures to finish his work would leave him with the public persona as being the mad scientist who had unrealistic ideas for the future.
Ultimately, Tesla would not realize his dream of providing humankind with cheap, unlimited energy in his lifetime; however, his legacy forever lives on through the incredibly impactful experiments, and the evolution of the Tesla Coil.
