Seeing photos of Louisiana under snow is just ... wild. A foot of snow in New Orleans. Frozen swamps.

I swear North Carolina is dumb as hell. They scraped half my road but didn't salt any of it. So now, the road has black ice all over it. What little snow is there isn't enough to grip my tires to protect from ice. If you're not gonna salt, you shouldn't scrape it at all. With snow, my tires have something to grab and I can see where other cars have been. I grew up with snow every year. I know how to drive in snow. I can't stop physics when my car hits black ice.

The store I work at posted that it was opening at 12. I commented all of this and said "Normally I'm not scared of any bad weather. When I tell you it's bad, it's BAD". So I don't know who's running the front end today. Hopefully they'll just close down the whole store. If it was up to me, I would close it to the public, don't make employees come in, but whoever is there can stock shelves or whatever.

Yesterday was World Snow Day! It's on the third Sunday in January every year. Mudpie was so excited for snow, and it was in the forecast, but the whole day went by and there wasn't a single flake. He went to bed utterly disappointed... but as it was getting dark, the snow finally began to fall. I woke Mudpie and could barely get his sweater and scarf on him before he ran outside to see his beloved snow. It was nice and fluffy, and it looked beautiful clinging to the trees and bushes. A true Snow Day after all. =)

The description is....oof...but vampire BL is vampire BL. I'm gonna watch it. It's REALLY testing my patience for creepy anime bullshit. He gets a boner from talking to the 15 yr old, TWICE in ep 1. I hate it here. I hate that this anime is causing people to swear off all BLs. I hate that this will fuel "gay guys are pedos" rhetoric.

I'm drawn to the golden hour spooky eerie vibe of the poster. Slow beginning, but I seem some potential for a good mystery thriller.
