Kholood has reached out for me to make a post and mention people for her campaign. Looking over her blog I saw that she had a month old baby. This beautiful creation does not deserve to be trapped in conflict. We talk about children in Gaza who have to grow up so quickly because of the genocide, Kholood’s baby might not have a chance to grow up without our help. Reblog and donate I beg you. Day 3: Candy Cane

Perhaps I should have an actual posting schedule? Eh, my brain life is too hectic for that. So writing this one was…a challenge. Mainly because everything I wrote somehow turned into an innuendo and there was very little I could do about that. You’re getting it anyway, so deal with it. This is partly based on true events, I have in fact had multiple of those large candy canes, however never in one sitting. That idea came from this post. Sorry @wingscanspeak but it’s just never going away. Also shout out to @peanut-the-goalie for reminding me of dagger candy canes, thank you for that. Enjoy petulant Sirius being a child and Remus being exasperatedly in love with him. Prompt from @remus-john-lupin. 

“There’s no way you could possibly eat that whole thing.”

“Is that a challenge?”

“Oh no.” 

Remus immediately regretted his words as he stared at Sirius, holding a truly monstrous candy cane in his hands. It wasn’t even a candy cane really, more of a stick, almost the length of his forearm and nearly an inch in diameter. And Sirius, ever one for a challenge, had decided that he needed to eat the entire thing in one sitting. He plopped onto the couch next to Remus, grinning wildly. 

“It’s going to make you sick,” Remus tried. He knew it was futile, knew Sirius would never back down once his mind was made up. But he had to at least try to stop him. Right? It would make him a bad boyfriend if he didn’t at least try. 

“I’ll be fine,” Sirius said easily, and began unwrapping it. “It really is big, isn’t it?” 

Remus just sighed, pointedly ignoring the double meaning of that statement. With a grin that said he knew exactly where Remus’ brain had gone, Sirius stuck the end in his mouth.

A little while later, Sirius had worked the end of the candy into a sharp point, testing it on his tongue. 

“It’s like a dagger!” he exclaimed happily. And then waved it around as if fighting an invisible opponent, nearly taking out Remus’ eye in the process. 

He yelped, and then sighed again. “Baby, I love you, but if you hit me with that, I will take it from you.”

Sirius just pouted and stuck it back in his mouth. Remus sighed and turned back to his book.

“Remus?” the soft voice came about an hour later. He looked up warily. Sirius was pouting, face gone a bit pale.

“What’s the matter?” he asked, already knowing the answer.

“I feel sick.” 

“Well, of course you do Pads, you’ve eaten what, two thirds of that thing? In one sitting? I don’t really know what you expected here.” 

“Remus,” Sirius whined, laying his head in his lap. “Help me.” 

He sighed exasperatedly, running a loving hand through Sirius’ long hair. “I don’t know what you want me to help you with in this situation, love.”

“Make me feel better?” Sirius looked at him with pleading eyes. 

“And how do you expect me to do that?”

Sirius tipped his chin up invitingly. Shaking his head fondly, Remus leaned down and kissed him gently. His lips were sticky, they tasted like peppermint. With a smile, Remus cupped his cheek, kissing him deeper. Sirius whined. 

Then Remus pulled away.

“Feel better now?” 

Sirius groaned, head falling back onto Remus’ legs. “Moony.” 

Fighting a smirk, Remus grabbed his book again and placed it on Sirius’ face, opening to the page he’d been on, and continued reading. Not a moment later it was yanked from his grasp and Remus was once again staring down at a pouty Sirius Black. 

“Hi, Pads.” 

“Hi.” Sirius stared up at him adoringly, candy cane forgotten in his hand. 

“You having fun?”

The frown was back. “No.” 

“I did warn you.”

“Nobody likes an I-told-you-so Moony,” Sirius said, poking Remus in the side and making him flinch. 

“Well, maybe you should have listened then,” he shrugged. 

Sirius frowned, before pushing himself back into a sitting position. With a resolute look in his eyes, he began sucking on his candy cane once more.

Another hour passed as Sirius bit and licked until the candy slowly disappeared, teeth aching and tongue going rough. 

“I hate this so fucking much,” he muttered intermittently. Remus just smirked every time, making Sirius glare. “Don’t.”

 He had finally reached the last bite. 

It had taken over three hours, but, finally, there was only one little nub left.

Sirius studied it for a moment, fingers and mouth sticky.

“So,” Remus said, propping his head up on his hand, “How do you feel? Accomplished? You proud of your achievement?”

“Fuck off.” 

With a long sigh, Sirius flipped off the last bit of candy and stuck it in his mouth. 

“I am never eating one of those again!” he declared as soon as it disappeared into his stomach. “And if I ever taste anything minty again, it will be too soon.” 

“Okay, Pads,” Remus just laughed. He figured then was not the time to bring up the mint toothpaste sitting in the bathroom. 

Sirius groaned, hand on his stomach, and laid down on Remus’ lap again, eyes falling closed. “‘M tired.” 

“Do you want some actual food now?” Sirius nodded. “C’mon, let’s head to the Great Hall, it’s nearly dinnertime anyway.” With a soft kiss to Sirius’ forehead, Remus pushed him up gently and stood, reaching a hand down to help him up. Still holding hands, they headed slowly for the portrait. 

As Sirius got ready for bed that night, Remus lay in his bed, book in hand, staring blankly at the pages, listening intently to the sounds coming from the bathroom. 

“God fucking dammit!” a loud voice came a moment later, and Remus smirked. It seemed Sirius had discovered the toothpaste. 

So maybe Remus wasn’t that responsible of a boyfriend.

Hey, so I never really do these types of posts, but I just wanted to spread the word. There's an awesome person named Guilian who is just super cool and sweet. They recently got Covid and are recovering from it but they have hospital bills which are never fun. They're also in the midst of planning a wedding with their partner Kevin who is also the sweetest girl. They're @wingscanspeak on here and they have an Instagram at wizardhatcosplay also Kevin's Instagram is radicalkev. If anyone wants to take the time to just check either of them out and maybe help in anyway if possible, it would be greatly appreciated. Pokémon Moves

So, yeah!

Annnnd: Dream Eater (but not Hypnosis, oddly enough)

It’s an odd combination of moves for a Pokémon which occurs naturally, but at later stages of growth they can learn Nightshade and Shadowball, greatly improving their offensive capability.

Again, tell me your Pokémon type and move sets!
