If you are not a fan of angst this may not be for you, but I am a big fan of my favorite couples overcoming problems because they love each other, it also portrays therapy in a positive light and feels very in character

A Spoonful of Sugar by Budinca

This one is just beautifully written and portrayed Victor in a light I don’t often see him in, but I really enjoyed it, less plot based and more character study focused but it’s really really excellent.

Warrior by Darragh_Cross (CR_Lann)

This fic has done a lot for me, as someone who lives with chronic pain and has recently had to start using mobility aids, reading this fic has been really therapeutic while also being incredibly real and honest. I love angst I love when my favorite characters go through it and come out different at the end or fight with each other throughout. It’s truly a treasure. It’s one of those fics that make me very thankful I live in a universe where I get to read Yuri on Ice fanfic

TW: Mention of past rape

This series made me feel a lot of things, not only is it extremely well written but it’s probably the healthiest trauma overcoming fic I’ve read, there is also no graphic depiction of the previous rape of the characters, it is all about healing for yourself by being able to open up to others. It means a lot to me.

Brighter by Wingit

This is my absolute favorite YOI fic of all time, it just has all of my favorite tropes and things I love to see in Yuri on Ice fics. I love what it does for all the characters and the drama and angst
