They’re obviously a couple, they go to cute dates together and they fight side by side to protect each other and their domains

I had this idea in mind for months and finally I drew it lol

Lara-Su/Jani-Ca from Archie is SO similar to Silver. she’s a time traveler that came to stop somebody and change her ruined future like Silver (they both had the wrong guy)

She wears blue toed boots like Silver

she has telekinesis from her hands like Silver (that also flip flops from green to blue/cyan)

they both have foliage hair, Lara’s is like a flower and Silver’s is a maple leaf, they both awkwardly stick out from their foreheads and don’t cover the top of their heads (i will never get over that for either of them)

they both have ties to Chaos powers, used Chaos Control against Shadow and sealed away their final bosses away with a mystic chant

they both came from a future with a dark god, dark skies and endlessly respawning enemies

and Lara/Jani was even originally 14 years old like Silver

Lara-Su/Jani-Ca did most of this in 2002-3. four years before Silver

zheng having the list of permitted two letter words memorised and calling everyone out on their bullshit except olu who gets a pass for being cute (which subsequently leads to very reasonable allegations of unfairness)

jim getting all the triple word scores and wasting every single one on low scoring words (‘jim i can see your tiles. you could’ve gone for KLAXONS and scored hundreds. ASS is nine points’ ‘yeah but ASS is funnier so’)

olu being cursed with the worst tile luck in existence and ending up 50 points behind because they’re nearly finished and he’s only drawn 3 consonants so far in the whole game

if i can be so real for a minute, the saltburn fandom is not very large and not very old... and yet i have had SO many odd convos. usually about farleigh but sometimes about other stuff. i've been called obnoxious so many times for mentioning everything that comes with farleigh's character but it's in the movie for a reason, man. i'm venting. "what does XYZ have to do with this?" bro idk maybe the fact that it was included in the movie, therefore i'm going to bring it up?

class, privilege, sexism, escapism, etc. are all important parts of this movie. so is race. i've gotten the most heat for talking about race and white privilege which is... not surprising tbh. sometimes i just want to be serious when everyone wants to be silly. if your silliness makes you apathetic to the rhetoric of the film and how some of it should be taken seriously... man. ouch. damaging to the psyche tbh.

a lot of the fandom is rly cool but ackkk i've been on my toes. i've been encountering some irl felix cattons...
