Okay, but wtf is the deal with N's eye color?

In the official character art and the main series games, N's clearly gray-eyed. Only time in the games he's not gray-eyed is in the title sequence where his older self is portrayed with blue eyes, though it's not the first time a slip-up like this has happened; Silver's portrayed incorrectly as red-eyed in the title sequence of HGSS making him resemble certain other characters he's not confirmed to be related to more than his actual father. A little mistake, no big deal...

... But it keeps on piling up. When N shows up in the anime, he's blue-eyed again though it's not the same shade as the title sequence. In both Pokemon Generations and Pokemon Evolutions he's green-eyed, though once again the shade isn't consistent. Pokemas throws another wrench and adds another shade into the mix, now something closer to turquoise. And this is ignoring all the cards where his eye color keeps on swapping between mostly blue and green, rarely gray. There doesn't seem to be a consistent eye color for him.

It's not like Pokemon characters haven't changed eye colors in the past, but usually it's related to a big change in character design - for example, Blue goes from having black eyes to brown eyes from FRLG onward and Wally goes from having clearly blue eyes to having what Bulbapedia claims are still blue, but which look much more like gray eyes in the official art in ORAS. Only time I can see them looking more like blue is in Pokemas, and even there it's more silvery-blue. But the point stands, in these two cases the eye color change came with an overall change in design and art style. Overall, once the color change was made it was mostly kept consistent damn you Pokemas in this regard, but N's rarely portrayed with gray eyes as he originally was in the games. Tf is his actual eye color supposed to be? Is he just off-model about 80% of the times we see him? Are they waiting until the remakes for them to finally choose the color and stick with it?

TLDR; these darn Manaketes need to keep their eye colors consistent or I'm going to take away their dragonstone-privileges, damn it.
