uhhhh au pretty much based off @/arcadebandit's (too scared to tag them) "turbo gets an non-deserved second chance" au but!! With A Twist!!!

i don't know how this would work programming wise nor how it would make sense on the lore but. au where turbo comes back but ONLY with candy king's memories, and he's back at square one before he, well, "went turbo", he's not really. doing great by any means. he has just discovered that he is homeless + that everyone wants him dead, and he has the memories of a guy he does NOT know but GOD do they hurt for... some reason...

Screw it, if I don’t post these I’m probably never gonna post anything anytime soon and I really want to post something soooo, have some eyes.

I wanted to practice, like, shapeifying (best way to word it) the characters because I remember that shape theory was a big part of the environment development so I thought- “Hey! Why not do that with the characters?” And boom! I made this! Bit rushed but eh, it was fun!

okay in all seriousness, designing vanny, if she were to be an animal, was real fun! Though I had a hard time with her colors so I just threw everything out the window and grayscaled her. STILL. I based her off a spider monkey, couldn't really pick which species, resulting in MAKING MY OWN! Introducing Vanellope!! The Sugar Monkey!! ohohoh I'm a genius alright

oh yeah, these guys r here too. Ralph as a bear was an easy pick. One: they're protective; two: gentle giants; three: feared more than they should be. Also this is technically the first time I drew Ralph. Go me 🎉

KC was bit of a tough decision, but ultimately I drew him as a goofy ahh butterfly. Honestly he just looks the same besides having the basic features (antenna, wings, multiple arms). Now that I think about it however, maybe having him be a bug is... too on the nose, hmmmm 👀

Okay turbo took me, like, five minutes to draw because I immediately knew which animal he would be. Dude, no hate to hyenas but they just appear to look so menacing. And their dim fur and yellow sharp teeth just instantly made me think of turbo. (I'm no zoologist so I do apologize if it seems I'm mischaracterizing hyenas. I promise that's not the case 🙏)

overall, I'm pretty proud of these designs and I may consider doing more for other characters. We'll see.

Ralph: the other Vanellope which everyone has come to just call Schwartz is actually REALLY responsible, actually to the point that is gives me whiplash just seeing how different she from my own President FartSparkle Ralph: not only is she less energetic than my own Vanellope, she's also more laidback and chill (and less prankish too) Ralph: In other words Schweetz the exact opposite of my Vanellope (well almost) Ralph: Like I mean I don't mind that and it's great that we have at least someone here with they're head screwed on right but it's like I'm looking into a weird fun house mirror with Schweetz! Ralph: Like sure I heard about other versions of us existing in separate arcade cabinets having different personalities but this is Ralph: this is just crazy... Ralph: Makes me wonder... would my kid been like that if Turbo didn't mess her game up? Ralph: ... Ralph: *waves hand around* bahhh whatever doesn't matter Ralph: to put it shortly Schweetz is great, keeps the kids mischievousness in check when I'm not around and I can take that any day
