Minthe almost jumped when she heard a tray being placed on the table in front of her. She blinked a few times to see a sheepish Daedalus rearranging a tea set.

"Sorry, I meant to be quieter setting that down..." he said.

"It's alright, I was just in such deep focus I didn't notice you til then." Minthe rolled her neck and stretched.

"Ye-yes, I know." He cleared his throat. "I thought you might be thirsty when you came back up so I brewed some tea."

"Thank you." Minthe poured herself a cup and added cream and sugar to it. "I can't believe you brought a whole tray too."

Daedalus shrugged. "I'm rather particular for various things. I figured you might be too. Ah, though I don't mean to imply -"

She shook her head. "It's alright. I am particular. Always have been. Most people just complain about it though..."

He gave a small smile. "May I join you?"

"Of course, Daedalus, you're the one who brewed the pot!"
