Also!! If you’ve watched Your Name and liked it, esp the bodyswapping element and the concept of two people’s identities becoming blurred at the edges as they share each other’s lives, then I highly recommend the book Where I End and You Begin by Preston Norton. It’s by far my favourite bodyswapping story and although the tone is different from Your Name, the exploration of identity through bodyswapping is similar and I think it’s for sure worth a read.

Sometimes, I feel sad about being ace. I love romance. I love the drama of it all, but when it comes to me, it feel wrong.

It not like I didn’t try or whatever. Every year in school I thought I was falling in love with someone. But the idea of actually being a romantic relationship, not really what I wanted.

I just wanted a friend. I wish there were more books on friendship. Not in the children’s book way, but it the real way.

There a book called “Where I end and you begin”(I think that’s the title) that does this. Body switching stuff, but the main plot is Ezra’s growing friendship with Wynonna.

It’s goofy and heart breaking. It’s like my favorite book. (But it has a happy ending, I swear. I don’t just enjoy sad shit all the time. Just some of the times)

It reads like talking to someone if that makes sense.

But this made me feel better so yeah.

there's a certain level of unhealthy codependency present in jayvik that i find deeply fascinating. Something about spending around a decade in the same shared space, becoming integral parts of eachother's lives to the point where it's almost impossible to imagine a life without the other.
