Couple of questions for HOTD/GOT show fans

How we feeling that season 3 is gonna have 8 episodes ? Also that it’s gonna be another 2 year wait ?

I read that because they know going into filming that it’s only 8 episodes they can plan accordingly and not have to cut after they’ve filmed so that is a good thing but still Martin said that to do the book justice you would need 4 seasons of 10 episodes each but they clearly don’t listen to him so but another 2 year wait idk ( personally ) especially after the dumpster fire that was season 2 idk if I’ll be watching

Also any news about who they cast as daeron ?

Also what’s going on with the Dunk and Egg series ? I heard they showed a trailer to some people and that a teaser was gonna be released in December but clearly as it’s almost the end of January that didn’t happen . I had also heard that it was gonna premiere In June now they saying they don’t have a specific date ? What is going on?

Hmm... for some reason, I cannot access numerous websites today, ecosia, which I use instead of google, ao3, twatter connects but doesn't show pictures at all, pixiv and many others. Keeps telling me the wait time was too long, when everything was absolutely fine this morning. It's not a brwoser thing either, as I tried using Microsoft Edge, and I get the same results, I use Firefox for those who want to know.

It's weird and I hate it. There's no explanation, no warnings, nothing.

give us the well written shows we expect. give us the characters we love with the actors who love portraying them and give them a story worthy of their fucking talent. give us 10+ episode seasons with storylines that make sense. Give us a universe that is connected and weaves together excellently, not chopped up and name dropping characters just for the sake of it.

I’m not one of those DiSnEy RuInEd StAr WaRs people because there are wonderful, incredible things going on in the animated shows imo. But this season of the Mandalorian was an absolute mess and I refuse to allow my favorite characters of all time to have future shows ruined bc corporate overlords won’t pay a decent writers room what they deserve or will act like doing the bare minimum is enough for the long-time dedicated fans who have waited YEARS to see the conclusion of these characters stories’.
