can't stop watching that video with the new angle and the way ja'marr lets out a breath after letting go of joe and kind of tilts his head looking at joe saying long way in such a fond thoughtful tone.

Pretty fucked up that timmy forgets the only positive influences in his life after his 18 birthday when you think about it

#like he losses the only family that loves him and friends and allies that respect him #outside of aj and chester he doesn't have a lot of good influences in his life #trixie could probably be his friend after she gets over the whole popularity thing but still #losing that muc of your memories is going to affect yoyr personality #if they were replaced he's probably going to think he was alone for most of his life with occasionally seeing some friends #and some good moments (him making frinds with chip and maybe might remember mark depends)#umm does Shirley count? doubt he would remember him unless he goes to his shop often #i doubt his relationship with his parents would improve hed probably move out not to long after he turns 18 #i think the memory wipe would affect certain aspects of his personality too #like his interest in the arts would probably lesson due to the feeling of something being missing or just #straight up depression #i feel like he wouldn't persue a creative field due to multiple of reasons and settle for something more practical but will always have tha #what if oh timmy forgetting and losing himself is something so tragic #especially if he still miserable or in a bad place #imagine the angst #timmy turner

things i think about a lot also include how chip is the one out of albatrio with a no-kill rule. out of the honourable god-chosen paladin and the respected ex-navy ferin and the fucking bastard pirate it's the latter that refuses to take a life. there's something unexpectedly poignant about that.

#it makes sense because of the morals arlin imparted on chip and his trauma from reuben and his general tendency to project his experiences #onto other people to apply empathy #but there's just something like. beautifully poetically ironic about it. at his core he's just very full of heart and very human.#jrwi #jrwi chip #also those theories and what-ifs where chip ends up taking a life because he forgot about that core memory in the warehouse...#they drive me INSANE i'm crazy about them. i love chip man.

"but donald forced them to eat pellets!" first of all, they seemed to enjoy the pellets while they had them, and guys...they probably continued to eat those pellets long after tasha and leo entered the picture. those bionics (especially adam and bree's) probably burn a lot of calories. their metabolisms are probably super high. the protein pellets were probably engineered specifically to provide enough nutrients and protein for them to grow and function well. yeah, real food is fun and tastes better, but in addition to not shocking their digestive systems, those pellets were probably essential supplements to ensure they were eating enough. and, since donald invented them himself, they're not buying suspicious amounts of food, either. it helps that the kids seem to enjoy them, though (they all cheered when donald brought up protein pellet smoothies in rats on a train)

#like yeah okay donald wasn't the best father #and its definitely good that they got a few years of normal childhood #along with eating normal food so they didn't turn out too weird *cough* alan diaz *cough*#but besides wanting to see the world they seemed mostly content #none of them were complaining about those pellets and they probably served a purpose #keep in mind donald was (if we believe he's 39 in memory wipe and not 43 in you posted what?!?) 23. fresh out of college age #trying to raise three kids with bionic abilities #he wasn't a great dad but he wasn't exactly expecting to raise 3 children #he just knew it was ethically wrong to use children as weapons of mass destruction and rent them out to bad people #and they stayed in the basement because he was protecting them from the government #and it very well may have taken some years to perfect the chip extractors #i agree that he forgets their human side sometimes #but he was also trying his best and these things can both be true #lab rats #donald davenport #adam davenport #bree davenport #chase davenport

hehehehehe i am just eating up the animosity between tex and old man this season. wow old man, i wonder if your opinion of tex was in any way influenced by a conversation where someone made some uncomfortable insinuations about his relationship to an iteration of ty betteridge.
